Relaxing in the room the upgrades they did in thus hotel is awesome I love it the breakfast was great!

The place is very clean and new paint job. Harvey tore up Rockport 1st in Texas and the people lives where torn apart too. But the town and the people are coming together to make it better for all. The hotel sits on the bay great sunrises and there is fishing off the pier and its great to feel the breeze on those warm humid nights.

Rooms are nice pool is clean pier is nice everyone was friendly including the maids.

This room was definitely not worth the money spent on it. The bathroom was dirty… black smudges on the walls and brown smudges too, a cockroach in the morning, other small but noticeable evidence of neglect. There was another bug near the door which makes sense because I could see daylight under the door when it was closed. I liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave in the room and that the property has its own fishing pier, however due to the uncleanliness we will not be staying here again.

Nice upgraded rooms. Office closed at 10 pm but they gave me courtesy call to ask me what time I was arriving and stayed a little after 10 til I arrived. Everything inside was remodeled. Nice hotel next to the fishing dock.

My wife and I stayed there over the weekend, excellent customer service friendly helping staff, plan to visit again, very peaceful and pet friendly, with our pooch scotty thank you again, lee terri and scotty.

Sonny and wife, son treated us like family. The hotel is very clean and the ladies that cleaned room's were very kind and helpful.

The weekend rate was high other than that our room and bathroom were great they are clean and looked updated with ceramic tile. I am glad there is no carpet. Glad the a/c works extremely well very cold and beds are comfortable. Staff was great at front desk.

Great beds. Lights are super bright, low light option needed. A/C struggled with large room, finally cold at 11pm when lowered to 60. Breakfast looked hearty and coffee good. On water with pier access but no water views.

This place is Nasty. I know I was in a high season, but paid 200 dollars a night for a ugly place with big roaches. The lack of interest to keep theirs hotel in shape is incredible. The handle of the shower all rust. The bathroom door handle broken. The ceiling with spot not painting. If this was a 50 or 60 dollars motel is acceptable but $200.

Brand new… so awesome room very spacious but not finished some open areas in closet… hot breakfast… but pool was very hot no fresh water keeping it cool! Front desk told me one price when I called back tried to up it? But right on the water with it's own pier… great views.

Dirty filthy disgusting inside and out. Rooms were filthy ceiling falling in the bathroom and drops nastiness all over in the shower. Dresser in pieces. Mattress covers covered in hair and crumbs. Beds are fold up camping frames and thin mattresses. Trash everywhere outside. Bugs crawling. This place is a disgrace to Rockport. Not sure who "Mr B" is but if I was a slum lord I wouldn't give out my name either. The fact that he also owns Bayfront Cottages and Motel6 is a scary thought. The health department needs to srep in.

Stayed here last weekend, and was very disappointed. We have stayed in the past. It wasn't the tashmahall but it was clean and descent. Not anymore they have new owners and the place is dirty. They apparently own another property and the pool was out so they sent them to the sportsman and the pool became quickly over crowded. We went to get something to eat and when returning they were having a party and took our parking spaces had to walk a long way to our room. Not to mention the rooms the bathroom door had the door jam missing so you could not close the door. There was absolutely no amenities of any kind. I would think twice about staying here.

The location is fantastic, but the rooms are only so-so. The motel could definitely use renovation. Despite this drawback, it is my go-to place to stay in the Rockport Fulton area.

For the money, you can't beat it. The private fishing pier is a HUGE plus. Yeah yeah the acomodations aren't "fancy" but they had a stove, fridge, a dining table for 6, two queen beds and a free breakfast. I'd suggest brining your own pillows but other than that for a family on a budget, you can't beat the $54 a night pricing. Oh and the A/C blows super cold, no bugs were seen and in my opinion it's beats camping and sleeping in a tent with no shower access…

It is the worst place to stay on this earth. Its filthy and drug lowlives everywhere. I'm turning them in to better business bureau… They have bed bugs… Please don't stay their your better off sleeping in the car. It is run by druggies… And the rooms are cleaned by there hookers. And the owner is in on it he looks all drugged to … what a shame it use to be a nice place.

1. Total of 4 BIG dead roaches just laying around. 2. Saw 3 big live roaches crawling in and out of the hole in the ceiling. (There's holes on the doors as well. One as big as a foot) 3. Found hair in all 3 beds (i was checking for bed bugs I did not sleep on those sheets) one also had a drop of blood which I'm assuming probably came from a bed bug. 4. The stove, refrigerator and floors were dirty. 5. There were ants, also dead ones in a corner where alot died I guess someone sprayed them. 6. No silver ware not that I would have used them. 8. The furniture & bedding looks like they got it in the 80s… at a yard sale at that. 7. I paid 414 for 2 nights cause this was the ocean front better room they had to offer and this is what I got… I was refused a refund after I saw the room… The only good thing was the breeze sitting outside which is where I stayed cause it was cleaner than the room. I came home washed my bags left my purse in the hot car for a week, washed our shoes didn't sit on anything till we took off our clothes to avoid the chance of bed bugs if there were any. I'll report if I notice any… if you haven't gathered, I'd recommend you sleep on the pier or on a beach before this place.

If your looking to save money for other things to do with your family, its fine, no dope feans hookers are riff raff, kitchenette is ok and I've definitely stayed in worse. And for the road warrior's like me its quite and my truck was never messed with.

I have stayed here before and never had a problem. Untill this past weekend, July 30th — August 2nd 2015. We checked in Thursday afternoon (30th) and noticed a horrible smell coming from the ceiling above the bathroom sink. A stain on the wall that looked like blood. When I went to pull back the sheet to the bed I found a dead bug that looked like a bed bug. We ended up moving to another room after complaining. We were told we would not be charged for moving to a 2 bed room. Next day the owner charged us $20 more. Our room was NOT cleaned for the remaining 2 days we were there I had to ASK them to please clean my room. I will NEVER be staying here again.
