The hotel is cheap, but you get what you pay for. There is a horrible smell due to one thing or the other. The room was always humid and smelled mildewy even with the A/C on and the hallway smelled horribly of trash. There is a trash room on every floor and it is overflowing so much that the door cannot be closed. I have to hold my breath or risk becoming nauseated just to walk down the hallway. The staff are polite, but generally unaccommodating. Perhaps they are understaffed, but it's no excuse not to accommodate your guests. I asked when they would take out the trash and they said there was no one here to do it. Also, the cleaning is weekly, but they might try to skip your room. I asked every morning for four days after a week here for cleaning service and they said they would put me on the list. I came back each afternoon to the room uncleaned.

My stay at extended stay was peaceful and perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. Gabby went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure that I was comfortable my entire stay. Ann is also excellent at what these great employees do for the guest at extended stay. Thank you so very much for your help I will most definitely be returning.

I thought all hotels cleaned your room when you leave and come back! Obviously they don't! If you want it clean you pay extra. I've never stayed at a motel that didn't make up the bed etc. We went salt water fishing and smelt like fish. We all wanted a bath but no clean towels! I called the front desk 10 min no answer. I then go down stairs to be told they had no more towles but offered wash rags! Maybe of they had their staff go get all the dirty towels and wash them they would have!

Clean, however, there were 3 incidents in less than 48 hours that prompted this review. We got in very late to check in and had many bags. We were told at the desk all the luggage carriers were with other guests. There was no attempt to retrieve one for us to use. Secondly, after returning to our room on the first day, our keys were deactivated. And 3rd, there was no housekeeping service. Breakfast service does not exist as advertised. There were only granola bars and coffee so don't expect anything additional like what is offered at other hotels for continental breakfast.

The receptionist Ms. Gabby was very kind and helpful. I don’t know everyone’s name up there but everyone was very kind and sweet. The hotel is very clean and it’s a great location. Right next to NASA SPACR CENTER!

Room 214 sucks. Stay in another room. Bathtub leaks badly. Nice furniture, large room. Road is noisy, so room is not quiet. Bed is hard. Room had no paper cups, dishes, nothing. Just shampoo and soap. Breakfast was weak coffee, packaged oatmeal, packaged muffins. Very disappointed.

Thanks again for your time in this position of the NASA Houston friend take her son camping trip and I help her drive and I was happy to take her she looks out for me and God will Bless her for that me and the team of the best of the best.

Horrible Experience! Booked 10 days in advance from extended stay website. When reached there with family, I was told hotel is overbooked and they can't honor my reservation. This hotel didn't accommodate me in nearby hotel themselves, instead asked me to call their customer care. After several arguments, customer care booked me another hotel at higher price. I had no other options to take it. You overbook! You don't accommodate customers to your another property unless customer have hard arguments with you! And when you accommodate, you over charge your customers! Shame on you Extended Stay!. Will never stay in it again.

Good and knowledgeable staff. Centrally located in the Nassau Bay Area with easy access to tourist locations, like Space Center Houston and NASA. Convenient access to local restaurants, from fast food to high quality dining. Also near entertainment locations such as Top Golf, main event, movie theaters, and the Kemah Boardwalk.

Although the hotel is said to be non-smoking the first room we got smelt like the inside of a chimney. We complained and got another room. The room (s) seemed clean otherwise. My other issue was all the highway lights (the big, towering lamp posts with super bright light) shining through the window right at the bed. The curtains had to be closed.

Great location. Clean room. Fine basic amenities. Good staff. Not fancy. A good deal for the price.

I read the reviews and I decided to still give this hotel a try. I'm glad we did. Thus far everything has been GREAT! I booked from 3/12 — 3/14 (second night was unsure) but the front desk clerk Anh was so courteous we decided to stay. Well upon our return for the second night the clerk was very stale (rude). I sent my son to the front desk to get another face towel (it was only one in the room), she told him to send the dirty ones back first. I was upset as this was absurd, besides it was ONLY one face towel to begin with. After I got out of the shower I went to get a towel, had to say hello to get her to come to the front desk. This was after I called the front desk 3 times with no answer. I explained the situation and she just looked at me (no can I help you, hello, etc…) and handed me a towel. No NOTHING, blank stare. I have enjoyed our stay this far but I will keep this in mind when we book for summer vacation. If you don't want to come to work quit or stay at home.

I had an excellent experience here! The staff was extremely friendly and sweet, and the rooms were sizable and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

For the price it was great. No free hot breakfast but they had muffins and coffee. If you love hot hot hot can't breathe showers this is NOT the place for you. However, it was bearable especially when I thought about the price. Location was great. There are greay restaurants in walking distance as well as Walgreens. Not to mention NASA. This isn't high end but clean, nice and worth every penny.

The beds were actually comfortable and the room was clean. Lots of workers (construction) stay there. The pillows have seen better days but I feel overall for the price it was an ok place to sleep.

Very nice hotel for a longer stay. The staff was helpful and courteous. Morning breakfast option was good.

Worst Extended Stay ever! No hot water — barely luke warm. Only a bar of soap in bathroom. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion. I asked for a coffee maker and was told I would have to go to the store to purchase coffee. Wi-Fi is free but it is slower than dial up. A wine cork was left in cabinet and trash was left on top of fridge. Channel guide says ESPN & ESPN2, you only get ESPN. Very disappointing stay to say the least!

Friendliness goes a long way… So does room deodorizer. Perhaps a combination of the two in addition to a course in treating others with respect would get this place a good review. I understand business is business and my situation was getting involved and time consuming. But being shamed and scolded in a public lobby with another resident in arms reach is not only terribly unprofessional it speaks volumes of a person's character. To add to my humiliation, I was then told that I was being put on a 'no rent list' for my transgression and that I had 15 minutes to get out of the hotel or the cops would be called. What, pre tel, was my transgression? In town on business my company rented the room for me. When it was time to renew or leave my boss had a terrible case of the flu and was incapacitated so it was several hours before I was able to line things out. I made sure to keep in constant contact with the front desk keeping them informed of my intentions and my company's intentions. In order to solve the issue temporarily I was going to rent a room with cash for the night at twice the price and get things lined out the next day. My driver's license as well as all my other identifying documents have been destroyed in a recent storm however I did have very clear pictures of driver's license social security card on my phone. Again I do understand that companies have protocol and there are things they can and cannot do.

Very convenient location for NASA space centre and Bay Area Raquet Club. Clean and well maintained. Very basic breakfast. Very good for the money in this area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. There is a full kitchen in the room, only utensils absolutely none. So there's no point in that kitchen. The breakfast is very skimpy, you can say that it is not a breakfast at all, just a stand with snacks. The hotel is close to the center of NASA, literally across the street.

I love Omar at the front desk. Very accommodating and humorous. Dealing with Fema and insurance claims is nothing short of stressful and heartbreaking but walking back to your room and stopping to see Omar first always makes the day better! Thank you for taking care of my family!

The staff, Ulga, Marshall, Ohmar and Christine were great. Overall this was a pleasant stay. I was there a month. During my stay however there were a few things that would have made the stay even more pleasant. The water in the shower never stopped running. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud. There was a piculular smell to the room. The Wi-Fi both purchased and free was very slow. I had to actually disconnect my phone from the network for it to function properly. The grab and go coffee and breakfast was gone more often than grabbed. I understand most of the issues are minor and the hotel was filled with refugees from the Hurricane so under normal circumstances I am sure these small items would have been taken care of. As I stated earlier the stay was pleasant and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.

Well it cool. Nice place be it business or pleasure. Courtsious & helpful staff. Located conveniently with lot of eateries in & around.

My mother made a reservation here to come in and visit from Louisiana. She asked for a room with handicap access because she couldn't use the stairs and was told she would be on the third floor but there was an elevator. She was ok with that, even though them giving her a room on the third floor would have caused a serious problem in case of fire or emergency and they shouldn't have done it in the first place. Upon arrival she was informed that the elevator was not operational and they had no accommodations for her. No calls were made and she was not made aware that her accommodations would not be met and they had no intention of making it right. This truly is a shame that a 70 year old woman that requires handicap access was brushed off as unimportant and told they couldn't change her reservation with any other. I will never use an extended stay again nor do I recommend anybody using this one. Worst customer service in a hotel I have ever witnessed.

Located just across from Space Center and this is a very busy roadway. Front desk person very professional, courteous and accommodating that made up from the disappointment upon my arrival. Elevator was out of order before and during my stay. I requested a room on 1st floor, but my assigned room was on 3rd floor. A/C runs good. My room stayed at the cool temp of 74f during my stay in the room. That's a plus to balance the scale from 2stars to 3stars. A coffee station in the room would tilt that a little higher. But Starbucks is right next door! McDonald's just across the street. Furniture shows a lot of use and some storage draws are broken. Bed linens were soiled. So I requested clean set and changed the bedding myself. Stove electric elements not connected. I was not inconvenienced because I didn't need to cook. Microwave works but it is positioned on shelf overhead the stove vent hood which was a good stretch for my reach. Bedroom lacked cleanliness and twin lamp to right side of bed/ reading area did not work. Bathroom: tub drain and over flow cap showed black mold. Suggestion: tub could use safety bar on back wall to assist getting in and out of deep set tub. With this being mid summer, there are very few choices of affordable hotels located near my event. I chose this location for that convenience alone. This appears to be a hub for working crews, tourists, family vacationers and professionals of all sectors.

Walkable to NASA center. Very affordable suites. Small and clean rooms. Not much room service. Nice locations with walkable restaurants. Although claims has breakfast, it's literally offers nothing but granola bars, coffee and muffins. Sometimes breakfast runs out soon. For its price is a decent deal.

The rooms were clean. We stayed in a dbl bed suite. The staff was ok. Said there would be breakfast from 6am-9:30am. Got down there at 7:30 and breakfast was only muffins and coffee. Didn't even have juice or milk. Don't think this should be considered breakfast. Good note coffee and muffins were good. We would stay here again.

We booked a wheelchair room way in advance. Then when we get her it was over booked and had to be in a regular room. Than when we get in the room it smells funny, so I get some fabreez. I look on the kitchen counter and there are little black bugs everywhere. So I clean them off, then I look and the pillows are dirty. By this time I have complained twice, nothing can be done. The ac unit in my room rattles and dont get cold at all, lucky for me I can sleep good when its cold but my kids like a cool or cold room. I complain again, nothing can be done. Then since my room has bugs, smells, I need new pillow cases and sheets I ask, " when is room service ", you only get room service if you are here for 8 days. Also no pool you have to drive 6 minutes to there other property to swim. No free breakfast just muffin, coffee, and grain bars. This place is terrible in every way, AVOID LIKE ZIKA OR the PLAGUE. This place has ruined my trip.

I read a lot of negative reviews so my expectations were not very high, I was very pleasantly surprised. I stayed here a week to scope it out because I plan to stay a month or so in a pet friendly hotel near my family. I found the room to be very clean, sheets and towels were fresh, the furniture was everything you need and clean and all the lamps worked. There were minimal signs of regular wear and tear from long term living but that is what these rooms are for and to be expected. I joked I was going to sell my house and come move there for a while… it was that nice… with weekly housekeeping available and the free Wi-Fi worked fine for me. I requested a quiet room on the top floor however, after the fact, found a portion of the 3rd floor is designated as smoking rooms. I am allergic so was worried, they gave me a room away from the middle of that, near the elevator and stairwell which was great because I only had 10 steps to my room. Even though there were telltale odors of smoking in the hallway when I stepped into My room there was a fragrance of clean linen… no kidding… plus they have a prominent sign on the check-in desk that smoking in the common areas will result in a $250 fine/charge. I thought that must be working because I had no smoke smell in my room and absolutely No Bugs. From the reviews, I was expecting both. With the exception of the A/C and I speculate some 'white noise', the room was very quiet.

First in a room there was a barking dog and they did nothing about it IT REEKED OF URINE and if you ask me I don't think it was just the dogs their were some very unsanitary people in the lobby a dog peed on the chair next to a maid sitting down the maid did't do anything and the urine just sat there are first room we paid extra for Non smoking we get in it reeked of cigarette's and Whisky are next room after we complained of the smell reeked of cow manure and vape.

Rooms are decently clean but need updating. They only clean once a week and charge extra more cleaning. Great for the price.

This is a great place if you like the smell of urine and pets! I have bad sinuses and the smell of urine was overwhelming to me and I can't smell. There where bugs crawling on the walls in the hallway. The free breakfast was coffe, muffins, granola bars and rotten apples. Delicious! The desk help wasn't there in the morning so the maid had to give is change so we could use the laundry mat. They told us we'd get a 15% discount when we checked out but that didn't happen because the manager wasn't there. I wouldn't suggest wasting your money on this dump pay the extra $20 a night and get a clean nice place to stay.

Requested a non-smoking room but the room reeked of smoke and cigarettes when we walked in. The toilet flooded and soaked our cloths and some of the carpet. A parking lot light was aimed straight at our window, causing light to pierce through our thin curtans. Friends had a clogged toilet and asked if someone on the staff could unclog it while we were out but were told no, and instead were given a plunger to do it themselves. The breakfast was instant oatmeal and some fruit. Oh, and when the room flooded and our clothes got soaked, their solution was to leave the wet wad of clothes in the bathtub for us to find. We asked them about getting them cleaned and dried and all they did was give us a single use box of Tide and some quarters to use their washing machines. Never coming to an Extended Stay again.

The service is very good and the people are very friendly, the rooms are not the best but they are good.

The location was AWESOME, it was across the street from JCS! The service was very good and the room was WAY above what we expected!

When we first walked into the room there was a can of bed bug fog in the middle of the floor. The entire for smelled of smoke for a non smoking room and their free breakfast was nothing but granola bars.

Probably one of the worse hotels I've stayed at circumstance-wise. We arrived in Houston at about 11am, and thankfully, were able to hang out with some friends from the area til our "reservation" was ready. At about 9pm we decided to head to the hotel and get checked in — — we arrived, (we being a party of four) to have the following happen: A) Our reservation, despite having been placed 3 months in advance, was not available. Day 1: All of the non-smoking rooms with 2 twin beds were taken. So, B) We, the four of us, were told instead that we would have a smoking room, and that it would have a single queen bed. Day 2: With it being Thanksgiving week, most hotels were now fully booked. We didn't have anywhere else to go. Later that day they moved us to a smoking room with 2 twin beds. (None of us smoke and the smell was repulsive) Day 3: It's Thanksgiving and we're all having a great time in Houston. I wish our Hotel wasnt so crappy, and I wish the staff at the Hotel was more helpful. I'm just happy we didn't have to sleep in our car or go home. (We drove down to Houston from Nebraska, a 14 hour drive) All that being said, the main thing that annoys me about the hotel is the people who stay there. It's not an environment of staff helping customers, it's seriously hotel-disguised landlords and mostly permanent/"extended stay" visitors. Weird noises and people should not be around every corner. The staff there was not helpful or interested in solving our issues.

Elevator is very messed up. The paperwork says it was due for inspection in March of 2015. It's June 2015 now. Hardly any spots to plug a charger in the wall. On one day, we went to get breakfast, which was posted from 6-9 PM and they'd run out of coffee and muffins by 8:30 AM. Found a cigarillo wrapper and an empty pack of cigarettes lying around. Would not recommend.

There is not an option of 0 so. We reserved 4 rooms, all rooms smell like shit! They aren't clean. The people of the hotel are a fucking shit they make their service angry it said you have break fast but its only a fucking muffin. Its a shit of service refering to the rooms, theres no clean service and they smell luki fucking shit.

If there was a 0 I would have chose that! First off when I reserved the hotel online I had a promotion code for 20% off your total stay, which would have been $391 for one week. Well when I got to the hotel to check in I was charged $491, I asked the receptionist about the promotion and she told me that it was already on there and that sales tax is 17% so that is why I got charged $100 over. Come on really $100.00 in taxes yeah right I did the math and not only was she wrong but she lied to me. And my check out paper work showed that I infact got charged with out a promotion! Well then I seen that they offered dishes, pots and pans, coffee pots, toaster etc. So I called while I was out getting groceries and asked the lady to bring everything that she had. Well I got back to the room 45 mins-1 hour later and there was nothing in my room. I had just bought groceries which meant I need things to cook and eat with. I went and asked about the dishes and she told me that she would just be a minute, it was 20 more minutes. When she brought me the dishes they were dirty and the coffee pot had a used filter in it. The water never stayed hot, and the room had a very strange smell. One of the outside doors was broken so anyone could get in. When you walked in from the back door it smelt like wet dog and cigarettes. When we went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night there was roaches in the bath room, the laundry room was disgusting! I could go on and on! DON'T stay here.

I called to confirm my room. Confirmed. 4pm I get a call my room is being changed from one king to one queen. Discounted. I arrive at 6pm. My room is not ready. The housekeeper is slow. What? I was told it would be 10 minutes. It was over 30 minutes. During this time, the next family arrived. They reserved two rooms. One was not clean. They were switched immediately to another room. What? The front desk checked on my room several times. At 6:50 I finally had my key. My room had a horrible smell. The bathroom faucets were corroded. And I had no coffee maker. Very disappointed. I will never stay here again. I was told they were over booked and now they had more bad news. Not for me but for everyone else coming in later.

The people were great but the hotel is broken down and has a horrible smell on the inside.

The staff was pleasant. Mary was very sweet. However, I will never stay here again. I cannot believe Extended Stay America has put their name on this hotel. The hallway spells terrible. It smells as if pets have used the halls for restroom breaks. There is a trash room FULL of trash. The cigarette smoke smell is VERY strong. The ventilation in this hotel is horrible. It was very warm on the elevator and in the hallways. My son woke up the following morning with bug bites. I don't know if it was a flea bite or what. I cannot believe Priceline sent me to this hotel. It was disgusting. Priceline did contact the front desk for me and cancel my reservation and I ended up spending double to get another hotel for the following day because all the hotels in the area were to capacity.

A woman called Renee completely messed up my reservation. They charged me a wrong rate because she did something she was not supposed to be doing. It took 3 hours on the phone to finally convince them they made a mistake and were supposed to refund me 412 dollars. That night I look at my bank account and instead of refunding me, they charged me that money. When I called back Renee put me on a 40 minute hold and when I told her what the heck the charge was for, she said "ohh they charged you the money and then they refunded the money, but the refund will just show up in a few days". The problem was that I had already prepaid from the start. Charge me then refund me? HOW does that make any sense?! When I told her that didn't make sense she hung up on me. I've stayed here quite a few times when I had issues with my apartment complex down the street or when family members came in and I was overcrowded. This isn't a 5 star hotel so I don't know what the other reviewers expected. But for $60-$80 a night is was a very comfortable room, larger than any standard hotel room (which usually are $100+ a night), full kitchen, and big bathroom. Every accommodation worked and was clean while I was there. But, most importantly, the staff are ALWAYS the best! They always have every request done for me within hours and are always extremely nice. The one time I had an issue during their remodeling the manager was sympathetic and met my requests with a smile. This place is worth it to stay for a few nights or longer. Have fun in NASA.

When we viewed the sample room for the first time, I thought it was amazing but not how mine would look. We arrived for check-in, they proceeded to hand us a key for first floor (I had told them I didn't have a preference). My roommate complained that he didn't want a downstairs. I told them it wasn't a problem, but they changed rooms just like that and gave us a different set of keys. Hotel Service was pleasant and quite accommodating. I own 3 guinea pigs and it was no problem to keep them here with me. When I unlocked my door, the room (except the tv) was exactly the same. They even provided dishes, cooking pans, strainers, glasses, and silverware. They even have ac units keeping the hallways cool. I love my stay here, it's the absolute best.
