Everything was good until we got there. I messaged the owner several times regarding entrance as well as parking pass. Was told uncovered parking is free but everyone had a pass and I was concerned with being towed. No answer. So I had to worry about my car all weekend. Also most rooms on the beach your paying for the view. You could only see a sliver of it. A palm tree blocked most and it sat far back. The price is good for the room. I’ll admit it’s a big room, lots of sleeping space and well stocked. However you pay a cleaning fee and the room is in pretty unsatisfactory shape. Black mold in the ducts and all the wall in bathroom. The floor was cracked in the kitchen, the countertops were fading and old from years of use and brought down the happiness of the room a lot. Rusted stovetop, food under the burners, food pieces in fridge, plates were dirty but stacked in cabinet. Cookies under bunk bed, an inch of dust on footboard and headboard of bunk bed. Crumbs in the couch pullout bed and an old fitted sheet with hairs and crumbs. Sliding glass door you had to fight with to get it open. Not sure why the expensive cleaning fee if the room isn’t cleaned. Microwave was nasty and toaster rusted with tons of crumbs. Utensil drawer had some black specs in it. That fee made the room not worth the price. Make sure you take an extra 30 bucks for a parking pass, Wi-Fi passwords and entrance to the pools. Very disappointed and made our trip bad. I’ll take my chances elsewhere.

It was amazing, the apartment was super nice and comfortable, we walk around the area and it was very nice I’m glad to stay at the Victory apartment, if we came back I want to stay in the same place, the employees in front desk they are super nice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Thank you for everything 😍

The folks that run it and service it are amazing. They are thoughtful, responsive and thorough. Whether they are managing your property or helping you find your dream rental their number one priority is your happinnes! Dont look anywhere else for your Vacation Rental and Property needs!

I stayed at their condo at Casa Del Mar, room # 182. PROS: Diana is a nice person to communicate with, and the apartment location was close to the beach. It seems reasonably priced compared to other options on the island. CONS: The apartment is in a very popular condo (Casa Del Mar) and it can get very loud, especially on the weekends. The apartment balcony faces where the BBQ pits are so there are usually big gatherings outside drinking/listening to music until late in the evening. The apartment is older and has a musty smell but it's not too bad if you have the windows open but then you have to deal with the noise outside. I also had a verbal (and a written via text message) that I could stay for two months. After the first month, I was informed the owner wanted to rent it out daily to make more $ and they went back on the commitment (Victory acts as a middle man). I was forced to scramble to find a new place to stay. So, if you are seeking a short-term arrangement with them, make sure to get a written contract and have the owner sign, to ensure you won't get forced out. Again, the apartment is reasonable and the people behind Victory Vacations seem nice but they lack some organization, as there was also some miscommunication with the cleaners and a follow-up in addition to reneging on the two month commitment.

I have my home managed by Victory Vacations and what I love about the company is it is designed to help women get back on their feet. I love the owners christian leadership that align with my life and the principles of the organization. I recommend any homeowner looking to rent their home to trust them with your weekend getaway.

We’ve rented East Island Villa 4 times during the Christmas time frame. All our kids, grandkids, nephews and nieces stay a week. The house is BEAUTIFUL! Clean and maintained. Complete with private access to the beach and a hot tub. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Thank you Diana and team!

My family and decided to do something different this year, so we decided to have Christmas in Galveston. The first person I made contact with was Dianna to reserve. Dianna was a charm! We lodged at the Turtle House and made it home for three days. Thank you Victory Vacations and Dianna for making our Christmas magical!

The good, the bad, and the ugly, folks about Great Blue Heron in Galveston, TX. The house looks like the salt air has really done a number on the outside. There are some major repairs needed like a step on the stairs that tripped us up most every time with uneven and lose wood. The inside is very well kept and clean. HOWEVER, our stay was not enjoyable. The refrigerator water did not work, took us two days to figure out how to get the dryer to run because an element to turn the light off so the dryer knew to connect was exposed, the BBQ grill is a camping setup that could maybe hold 2 burgers on it so our grilling plans were negated, and the icing on the cake was the NEST AC THAT IS CONTROLLED BY THE OWNER NEVER WORKED! We had this house at max capacity: 3 Mothers and 11 children, some with special needs, and at the very least we expected help with air conditioning. It was 77-82 upstairs at all times. If you opened a door or window it just got hotter. Add ocean humidity to the mix and you are roasting. Our downstairs Ac worked though it was parked at 75 the whole time even though we set it to 70. We literally had kids sleeping on the floor and under tables downstairs bc it was so hot.
I contacted the management multiple times and the very sweet girl who answered replied as I’m sure she was taught “we will get to this ASAP” — NOTHING WAS EVER DONE! 3 nights of sweating, tossing, turning, and no sleep hell.

We stayed there with family, absolutely awful! Would not recommend to anyone. Almost $2, 000 for black mold and biting ants!

We were very disappointed in our stay! We rented the Lighthouse in Galveston July 21st through July 28th and it was terrible. House is very outdated including the cook stove. Kitchen sink shot water out of the faucet every time it was turned on. It had ants everywhere that bit and blistered us and cockroaches. The recliner was beyond worn out and there is black mold throughout the house where the ceiling and walls meet. No outside shower. Beds were worn out. Couldn’t access the marina or pool at anytime because we were given the wrong keys in which we notified the owner but that didn’t help. Busted kitchen tiles which resulted us in not being able to allow the children in the kitchen due to slipping and falling risks on the busted tile. Toilet seat needed replaced and even had a new one in the bathroom but hadn’t installed it. Very disappointed especially for the price we paid. You book so far ahead and just can’t wait to get there and then your vacation isn’t the vacation that it could have been due to the facility.

Recently stayed in a house on Galveston Island, TX. Spacious house, comfy clean beds, laundry on site, granite kitchen with dishwasher. Having 10 people vacation across the country is not an easy feat, with the house having lots of room, an in-ground pool, theater seating in a separate room from the gathering space made it easy to keep 4 teens, 6 adults happy. Clean and safe place to make wonderful memories that will last our lifetime! Thanks, Victory Vacations (Tom & Lynn)!
