New hotel not ideal for extended stay. No coffee maker in the room. No microwave in the room. No dresser in the room. The micro fridge is about the size of a postage stamp. The Tru hotel is not ideal for an extended stay. The staff at the Tru are good people. Simply put this is a minimalist style hotel.

I got 3 noise complaint calls during my one night stay about my child being loud. I explained he is autistic and if needed we would move to another room. I was told it was okay. To disregard phone call twice by two different people. Unable to put my child to sleep I decided to leave maybe 2hrs after check in. I called front desk and loaded my truck and children. Explained to them I was leaving. Receptionist asked for my room number and would have manager notified in the a. M. I didn't hear anything back after a couple of days so I called and asked for a manager. She had no idea what I was talking about. Stated I should have resolved everything that night. Why wasn't I told that? she kept saying her staff should have notified her. They knew better. How was that my fault? Because I booked thru 3rd party she would call the next day by 11am to see what she could do because she was tired and going home for the day. I have yet to hear anything back. I even opened a case thru Hilton customer service and no response. That was over a month ago.
