Clean rooms! Comfy beds! Pet friendly! What more could a tired family want after being on the road for 12 hrs?!?! We checked in at 3a. M. And were met by a very friendly staff member. Check out was at Noon! So our family was able to get plenty of rest before headed back on the road.

We are La Quinta Rewards members. I have to tell you that this particular Hotel was just wonderful. The rooms are clean the bathrooms were clean and even more importantly the staff was very friendly and attentive. We only stayed for one night, but the location was fantastic because we were able to go and watch a movie right down the street and have a great meal. And speaking about meals the breakfast was really good. I had scrambled eggs and sausage and a nice cup of coffee. I would highly recommend this La Quinta in Lubbock Texas. You get a real bang for your buck!

I stayed at this hotel on 6/22/18 in room 228. Quite frankly I was appalled at the hotel. It was dirty, there are gigantic mud dabbers around entire back of hotel and who knows about rest of hotel. Professionalism POOR! The lady at front desk was eating a bag of chips just standing there and I saw her walking around hotel eating chips also. My room stunk when I came in and I had to spray whole room! It needed lots of work in that room. I am a easy going person and a complimentary one but this place shocked me!

Horrible. Check in at 3pm rooms were not ready until 430. Couldn't put rooms together. One of the beds was urine soaked, discovered after we had gotten into bed! Breakfast at 6am … except if you wanted anything hot that was another 20 min wait. Flys everywhere. And to top off the stay when I mentioned my displeasure especially about the bed … the front desk response was "gotcha" … that's it. Terrible … 5th stay there, has been remodeled in past 2 years. Will never stay again.

There were a few broken items and stains on whatever the thin cover that was supposed to be a duvet cover is called. I thought it was a tablecloth. Broken shower onion and Faucet. Breakfast was good for a continental one. Friendly staff. Quiet for the most part.

Everyone was so nice. Clean and comfortable rooms. AC is good. Pool and hot tub! Has laundry facility. Has free Breakfast but could improve.

Loved this hotel. Nice employees and very helpful. The room was nice and cozy and very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. I would definitely stay here again.

It fit our needs well. Close to hospital. Breakfast. Courteous and pleasant staff. Room was comfortable. House keeping did a great job. Left behind after surgery instructions. Staff found them and we're able to scan and email them to us. We have stayed there previously and will again.

La Quinta was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. Unfortunately our room was stuck across from a group of people there for the Tech football game and they were very drunk and very loud. T hos made for a not so peaceful nights rest but the hotel itself is a good one amd I would stay again.

Positive with everything from check in to the cleaning ladies, all supper nice. Clean, nice, comfy beds & great price. Felt special with the bottle of waters & chips waiting for us when we checked in. Even had a make-up remover wipe for the woman. Nice!

This La Quinta is very nice. They have good staff who will actually help when you ask and the pool is large enough for a lot of people to swim at the same time without feeling crowded.

Normally I like la Quinta, and we have few if any problems, but this location was one problem after another… first room the AC unit didn't work, so we switched rooms… then in the new one the fridge was frozen over. Other problems include: the internet kept going down, they overcharged my roommate's credit card, our room keys kept getting deactivated (4x in one day), and they were so short staffed our room didn't get serviced until around 6 pm. We'll still use la Quinta… but not this location. On the bright side, there was no evidence of bedbugs.

We are always pleased with our stay here. The staff is friendly. Rooms and clean and comfortable. I recommend to anyone traveling to Lubbock!

Overall nice hotel. Your stay comes with free breakfast and it’s pretty good. Eggs, bacon, waffles, coffee, juice, etc. The beds were comfy and the room was clean.

The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and very nice. My husband and I had the best sleep away from home on that wonderful mattress. It was a Tempurpedic!

The beds are comfy. The rooms are clean. The pool was great and they let us swim even though we got in late. Now. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of the breakfast. I went at 915 and the only hot food out was oatmeal and potatoes. About 15 min later sausages and more batter for waffles came out then at 940 they finally put out some eggs. No biscuits that I saw. They didn't have much. Hungry and disappointed. Glad to be back in texas. We will be stopping at Whataburger.

A nice hotel, and the beds had memory foam! The bathrooms were not well ventilated though, my friend's shower set off the fire alarm and we learned it wasn't that unusual. Still, the rooms were clean and the service was nice so all in all a good experience.

I booked a room here because I wanted to throw my daughter a pool party/Sleepover. I called ahead to make sure this would be allowed & they approved. I also booked a small meeting room for the evening. The staff was awesome! So courteous & accommodating. They made sure I had everything needed for my event. The room was clean & cozy & everything was in working order. The pool was a nice amenity. It's a large well-kept indoor pool & a spa. Plenty of space for my handful of kids & other guests, too. Breakfast was good & included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy & waffles as the hot items. They kept it well stocked & fresh & there was plenty of seating. All in all I enjoyed our stay here & if I need a place in town again I will most definitely consider this location.

Staff was super friendly and I love hotels that are pet friendly (we're a military family without anyone to watch the pooch when we travel) but the room was less than desirable. The bed was comfortable but the pillows went flat, and there was mildew on the bottom of the window curtain and the bottom of the shower curtain. Also we set the air conditioner to 67 and were still hot literally all night. The room never really cooled down.

Check in was quick, room was very clean & appeared to be freshly updated. Front desk called about an hour after my arrival to ensure my room was as expected. Has indoor pool with hot tub. Area is quiet. Enjoyed my stay.

It's kinda off the highway a Lil but still close. Love the room, very spacious and comfy. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and courteous.

I stayed at this hotel in the spring and had a horrible experience. Quite possibly the worse hotel experience of my life. The front desk agent comped my room and asked that I give them a second chance as they were just beginning to undergo some extensive staffing changes. I gave them that second chance two weeks ago and must say that I am extremely pleased I did. Talk about a compete turn-around. The staff, first and foremost, were amazing and accommodating. The room was clean. Everything worked and worked well. This is now my go-to hotel in Lubbock. Good job to everyone who has turned this place into a winner!

Bath tub not draining during shower. Long black hair in the shower (we have short brown/blond hair. Dust on lamps and furniture. Dirty bath tub Terrible smell (perhaps humidity) in hallway. Very dirty elevator. Food smeared on the carpet in breakfast area. Nice building. Unfortunate lack of cleanliness and higiene.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. However, this is a pet friendly hotel and somehow I missed that on the website and reviews. We are allergic, and would've liked to have seen that advertised bigger. We still stayed because we did not realize this until we got up to the room and there was dog food still on the floor. They were very accommodating and switched us to a different room. It was much cleaner, but still had small debris on the floor from not being swept very well. Could just be cleaner. But I am a very neat and clean person, others might not have noticed.

We are staying here currently and so far staff has been friendly and the room has been comfortable. Check in was a breeze despite our late arrival and it was easy to find. We are staying for a family reunion and I look forward to seeing the meeting area — from its patio it looks wonderful.

It's 12:11AM and i'm still awake. There are kids running up and down the hallway screaming and a guy outside bumping his music full blast. This has been going on since 9pm. Obviously, im having trouble sleeping. Why isn't anyone doing something about the noise. To be fair, The guy at the front desk was great, the room looked good, and the overall appearance was good, but the noise is ridiculous. If you can't sleep at a hotel because of noise then appearance means nothing. It's like going to a beautiful upscale restaurant only to find the food is crappie. What's the point?

Its a nice distance away from texas tech, and everything was about what was expected out of a laquinta. Good service and the layout of the hotel was confusing at first, but not hard to get used too after a few trips to the lobby.

We went there for a baseball tournament, it was the team hotel. The room for a 2 queen sized bed kinda small but comfortable. Breakfast was OK I expected more From a Laquita. They take a little long for cleaning as we were at the games from 8:45 to 3:00 and our room beds weren't cleaned up even though we saw the cart when we left to go to the games. Now the issue there was a mexican party at the pool lots of kids so u would expect it to happen and when everybody left at least one dude was nice to tell me someone pooped in the pool. Over all I would say it's ok but I expected more from Laquita.

Good location and friendly staff. They had a Texas sized breakfast too. Well a Texas shaped waffle anyway. Breakfast was delicious and different items each day. Will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Luke and his hotel staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. The only negative was the size of the fitness room (very small, not a lot of equipment). I would stay here again.

Beautiful grounds and motel with plenty of parking for larger vehicles or those towing. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful during reservation process, check-in, breakfast service, and check-out. The room was large, comfortable, and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable and had sufficient bedding to allow air conditioning to be set at a comfortable temperature for a good night's rest. Breakfast was truly amazing and delicious and provided a great beginning to our day. Pet acceptance by LaQuinta is one of the reasons that we chose to stay here but it was additionally an overall great experience!

Nice to finally have a La Quinta with a decent washer & dryer! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the heavy air freshener in our room, it upset us and especially our cats. Also, bathroom floor was dirty, otherwise very clean, nice indoor pool & whirlpool.

Facilities are clearly and available early in the day. It is close to TTUHSC and right next to loop 289, so there is easy access to shopping. Good breakfast and service.

Room was clean. Staff was polite. Walls and doors are thin, so can very easily hear other residents. Keep in mind it is pet friendly.

I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels. Night staff very friendly, afternoon staff very snotty and rude. It is very clean. They have staff watching over breakfast room which is very uncomfortable.

Did not like this hotel! Was stuck here four nights while training for a new job in the area. Hotel is pet friendly and smells like it! Found two bath and one hand towel with dark stains all over them. Hair found on shower walls. Dried up eye contact found on the floor next to bed along with food crumbs and stains. Stains on sheets. Refrigerator didn't work well. Never empties one trash can entire stay. Air conditioner didn't work well. Would not recommend this hotel!

I highly recommend this La Quinta. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of counter space. There is a refrigerator and microwave also. Dallas at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. When I told him I was here while my mom was in the hospital he gave me the hospital rate. I didn't think to ask since this wasn't the La Quinta right next to the hospital. The La Quinta next to the hospital did not have good reviews which is why I chose this one. So glad I did. Great price for a great place to stay.

Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, room was COLD and breakfast was yummy. Employees were so helpful.

Omg I can't say enough about this place. Not necessarily the facility, which is nice, but the service. I'm in town for a funeral and upon arrival I walked in and they knew who I was. The front desk was awesome and very inviting. She was nice and directed me to my room and gave the main information without me asking. They knew why I was here so walking into my room there was a gift bag with a card from the front desk giving their sympathies. They made my stay more than comfortable. Will be coming back.

I reserved a handicap room with two beds. This is a convenient location being close to the heart hospital. It was a tiny room and not wheel chair friendly at all. The bathroom had a tub with a shower. Needless to say there was no way my mom could step into the tub shower. Not a comfortable stay.

Was just passing through and stayed here because they take pets, this hotel was really nice, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was really nice, room really clean, and the parking lot was well lit, I had a bunch of stuff in a pick up truck. Over all I would stay here again, if I pass through.

Any of the 5 star reviews are likely posted by Hotel staff, owners or friends of the owners, etc. Read the rest of the reviews for the facts. This hotel is horrible. The rooms are filthy, the breakfast is horrible, the location is in the middle of nowhere and people are complaining about bed bugs. I had to stay here about 6 months ago and was completely disgusted. Hotel management said they had issues with "cleaning staff" which was obvious, but due to the ongoing and very bad reviews it is even more obvious that owners/management simply don't care. Until someone new takes over the management of this hotel and invests heavily in renovations, don't stay here. Seriously. Don't.

Wow. No remote in room. Sink in bathroom didn't drain. I had to personally pull out years of God knows what from sides of drain to get it to work. Avoid this place like the plague.

I stay here on most trips to Lubbock as it's close to where our daughter lives. It's clean, close to everything, easy on/off the loop and reasonably priced. The staff are polite and friendly, what else could you ask for.

We reserved two rooms for three nights for a family wedding; our experience at the La Quinta, 5006 Auburn, Lubbock, TX, was wonderful! The rooms, halls, elevator, dining area, and front office area were very clean and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The Tempurpedic mattresses were more comfortable than I had expected. Our rooms were in the new building, which was quite nice. I highly recommend this hotel and yes, I will definitely stay there again.
