We stopped in to keep from setting up our travel trailer and it was just right. The front desk ladies ms Cindy and ms Jackie are Awesome the room was clean and comfortable the price was great even on holiday weekend. Also our fifth wheel travel trailer fit. Although we turned in the wrong entrance lol the first driveway is a little hard to see the morning coffee was fresh and hot and the pleasant smiles were nice would definitely recommend.

! Horrible Motel 6! I recently got hired on as a housekeeper at the motel 6 in Livingston Tx. And The Works That Were Above Me we very very rude to me as a employee. As I was on my first day I trained with a housekeeper and the way they clean the rooms are disgusting. There is 2 brushes to clean the WHOLE room and EVERY room. One bush is used to clean the inside of the toilet bowl, The Second brush is used for the Bathtub, Sink, Outside Of Toilet, Walls Of Shower. There is a bucket that has random soap from other rooms left in it and with EACH room every time she uses it to clean the shower. Disgusting It Not Over! The two brushes they clean with never gets cleaned after the use of each room. NO it is put back in a bowl and used in a different room with the germs from the last room. I Advise No One To Stay Here. It Is Not Sanitary At All!

The staff was nice and answered the few questions I had on arrival, as well as when I called from the room. I felt safe, and there were plenty of parking spaces. Let's face it, though… This is clearly an old motel. It's good that it was only $50, because I would have definitely dropped another star. The rooms are fairly dark and drab. It was time for the bed cover to be cleaned. Final note: the driveway is *not* marked, and if you miss it, there is a "do not enter" sign. My advice is to ignore the sign; otherwise, you'll drive at least 2 miles to get back to the unmarked entrance.

We were planning a family weekend getaway to Livingston and were unsure where to stay. I discovered a great deal at Motel 6 and decided to book there. I had looked at a couple of other places but thought this looked better. I am so glad I chose Motel 6. Although it is older, it is clean which is a high priority to me. I have stayed at many expensive motels and found them very dirty so this was a wonderful find to me. Yes, some of the rooms still need some updating but they are nice sized and allowed plenty of room for out family of 4 and all our gear that we carry with us. The pool was decent sized and had an eight foot deep area which is a plus for my family. Most motels have shallow pools with a max of five feet deep. It is really hard to gauge by pictures how deep the pools are so this was a nice surprise. We were disappointed that they did not offer a free breakfast but discovered Stripes (a local gas station) that has excellent breakfast tacos. They are very reasonably priced too! An added bonus is the neat antique store that is next door. My family loves antique shops and this was a very nice one. We found several treasures there. I would definitely recommend this motel. It is not fancy but it is comfortable and clean. There were no bugs and believe me, I check thoroughly. I have walked away from very nice motels because of bug issues.

Update: I stayed here a third time, room 103. (pictured) The room is in excellent condition and the AC works great. Cindy at the front desk was very helpful. Nothing is perfect, but this motel seems to be run well. There were new AC units in the lobby to be installed and they installed a new hot water heater while I was there. This caused us to have no water for a time, which we were not warned about in advance. Still the best value in Livingston This is my second stay, and where I'll continue to stay, when visiting Livingston. The door handle to room 110 does not return to the correct position, making it hard to get into the room, as it stops the key card from working. That was very annoying, especially when your hands are full, and it's 95 degrees outside. Other than that, we had no issues. Josh, Cindy, and the housekeeper, (I wish I knew her name. ) were all very pleasant.

The rooms are dusty. There is dirt or dust all over the lights as well as the tv. The air conditioners are dusty and don't blow well. Had to clean it myself to get air circulating. The walls are builtnus with gross idk What. I dont think the sheets are washed much, if at all. The room smells like urine. The stove was not clean neither was the refrigerator or microwave. Floors not vacuumed. I would not recommend this hotel. Paid for a room with a kitchen that is filthy.

The service was great! The only thing I would of liked was so form of breakfast. Even if it's just donuts and cereal with milk!

When youre in livingston out in the sticks You may as well crash at motel six. For a motel six it's run of the mill But in a town like this its quite a thrill. You may see something scurry across the floor, But one roach doesn't mean there will always be more. And remember their slogan should you get there past 2 Its no big deal, they'll keep the light on for you.

Perfect place for a relaxing night away from chaos… Cindy and Josh are the absolute best!

Not the nicest of places to stay but once you get inside the room it's nice especially for the price.

My family and I rent 4 rooms for the weekend as a mini family vacation. We drove 3 hrs and booked all rooms together, 1st floor, 2wks in advance. We had problems with this place from the moment we arrived. First, our rooms were not together. They spaced us completely apart! Second, I had to contact the front office for the musty smell. They in return gave me a clear spray bottle to spray the room. Second, the TV connections were not working. The front desk guy had to come adjust some cables and turn on. I also noticed while he was in the room that the sheets on the bed smelled like arm pits. I did mention to him but he did nothing, not even offering me new sheets. All this in a matter of minutes of arrival. I go to get some food with my husband and noticed a fanboy members vehicle gone. I started questioning their departure and come to find out their room had bed bugs. My sister and her children, ages 3 to 11, had to go out and get another room at a diffrent motel. Being only 2 doors down I then rushed to my room to inspect my own beds where my two daughters lyed sleeping. Mind you it is 3am at this point, checked in pretty late. As soon as I pull the covers back I see bby bugs and a big bed bug crawling on the side I just was laying on. I take a picture to showthe worker and demand a full refund not only for the bed bugs but for the great inconveniences from the start. She refused and argued that she can only give be a refund for the next day.

This is an older property that has been nicely updated, with a comfortable bed, good ac and adequate plumbing. Being close to the highway on the southbound side made for a u-turn on the feeder road necessary to get back to town, but did not detract from the value of being close to town.

This motel was a wonderful experience. They were recommended to us by premier tire. They are pet friendly with very clean rooms. They have a very nice picnic area. The staff in particular were very nice, Respectful, and very accommodating. Because our vehicle was in the shop while we were traveling they were very understanding when we requested an extension on our check out time until our vehicle was finished. We recommend this motel for all especially pet loving owners. The coffee was very good as well.

First, if the bed is queen it's a small queen. Found few crawling bugs. Not enough towels. No breakfast. Price was cheap but you get what you pay for. Location was next to loop and road noise all night but convieneat. Carpets stained and blankets full of what looked like cigarette burns.

The staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was a lot bigger than we expected. I would recommend Motel 6 in Livingston, TX. To everyone I know.

I think for the money, it was what I expected. Room was clean and comfortable. Some activity going on outside that night, but that is not your fault. Room was clean and comfortable.

For the price this place is worthy of 5 stars. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a quick visit to the Kaskila gaming center. It was clean, smelled good and other than occasional traffic noise from the highway, quite. Not a lot of amenities, but did have a microwave and mini fridge. Not many places to go under $60 for a quick get away.

We usually just stay 1 night every other month in Livingston and we always stay at Motel6. It's a great value and right of the freeway. Rooms are always clean and neat. Motel is also close to restaurants and stores (Wal-Mart & HEB).

There was some issues with cleanliness, but was rectified quickly by the front desk clerk. I would prefer an in room coffee pot to make my own as opposed to having coffee in the office. The coffee while hot and fresh was weakly prepared. The bed was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I would suggest is an ice machine on the second floor. Since there isn't an elevator, disabled people like me, find it hard to maneuver the stairwells. Other than that, our stay was very good. Good value, clean room, very friendly staff. I would stay there again if I had the occasion to need a motel in Livingston TX.

The room smelled musty the moment we walked in and it had just been cleaned. There was no ironing board or iron although there was a hook on the wall for it. The bathtub had a weak spot in the middle that creaked when I stepped in and the drain in the sink was very rusty. Not to mention when we sat on the toilet it was moved. I was afraid to lift the covers off the mattress to see if there were bed bugs and I didn't sleep very well at all. This is more of a truckers motel. The only reason we didn't just leave was because there were no other available rooms close enough for us to go.

The young man that checked us in was extremely professional and friendly. He told us of all that was available, including the off site gym, and also mentioned that night staff do a patrol every hour to make sure guest vehicles were safe. Loved that!

Typical “cheap motel”. The room was clean but smelled pretty badly. A combination of age and attempts to mask the odors. Parking was available but tight, especially with the big rigs there. TV service was ok. Would be better if lines weren’t continually running across screen. Wouldn’t recommend for a family or for a leisure stay. More of a traveling construction crew type environment. Right away I had to get someone to work on the toilet so it would flush. Door handle was very hard to operate and finally wouldn’t hardly work at all.

I asked for a smoke free room. Every time the A/C compressor came on it smelled like stale cigarette smoke in the room. The bed mattresses were good and the pillows as well! Other wise the room was clean and the shower was good!

Rated 4 stars decent service… had to argue a little bit. Quiet and people don't disturb you, room is clean and it's with-in town limits.

I would like to say this was the best. Cindy was very polite always had coffee on. We got there early but was allowed to sit and visit in the lobby with my friends who drove from Nacadoches to see me until our room was ready. I was able to get a good night's sleep. Thank you for being there.

Room clean. Bed was firm and wonderful. A little tricky with the shower temp control but otherwise good. Location and easy access, great.

I was spending one night while my husband was at the deer lease so I was by myself. The remote was missing from the room, the light switch on the wall did not work and no extra to list paper. They were unable to find and extra remote so I had to get up and down all night. I asked for a discount and was given $7.00 off my bill. However, the room was clean and the a/c worked great.

The price is reasonable. If you ask for extra towels they said come back when you use the others. The pool was absolutely disgusting. I asked them how often they clean. I was told it was cleaned the week prior. You could NOT see the bottom and had a nasty film on top of the water. Very gross. Will Not stay here again.

Very awkward getting in & out of the location. Always had to drive a 1/2 mile out of our way to get where we needed to go. Need more outlets in more convenient places for charging cellphones, etc. The beds were not very comfortable, need new mattresses. We stayed at 3 different Motel 6 during our trip and this one charged the most and had the least comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and we were able to get fresh towels when we wanted them, though.

Came here for two day visit and due to some paperwork issues on my car, ended up staying longer. Good place and well located. Grocery, fast food, and a nice Mexican restaurant Patrons just up the road. Absolutely everyone here at the motel was friendly, helpful, and worked with me on my constantly moving target of departure. I could not have asked for anything more!

Used to be a Super 8. Rooms are nice. Wish getting out wouldn't have to be a long drag…

It was a great stay. Even though it was an out door building and close to the high way it was quite and not to noisy. Very friendly and nice front desk person.

My family the room for 2 Nights. On the first night, the TV went black. It still had sound, but no picture. We left early the next day, and when we got back my cousin was missing the money he put in the night stand. When I told them about it as I was checking out, nobody owned up to taking it, and just said they didn't find anything.

Was charged an extra $40 for "stealing 2 pillows. " After calling for 3 days — — they did agree to give me refund "even though the items are still missing". Never did talk to the manager and they never admitted that I may not have stolen the pillows. Which I did NOT — — the motel is decent for the price, but there is not one thing from the room that I would want to take. Also — — the free Wi-Fi did not work.

We had a very pleasant experience here. The man at the front desk was very friendly and he even called our room after we had time to settle to ask if we needed anything. The room was very clean and the property outside was clean and very nice. We will stay here again.
