The staff was very nice but that's about the only positive thing I can say. It looked like there was water damage to the ceiling. Dark spots were quickly (and badly) painted over. There were water bubbles in the ceiling in the bathroom. Two of the four lamps didn't work and some of the drawers in the dresser wouldn't open. You can't be a tall person to use the bathroom. At 5'3" I could rest my palm on the ceiling and had to bend my head for the shower head. There was a wet spot on the floor that's didn't dry the whole time we were there. Hope we don't get sick from staying there.

Hotel is okay but the bathrooms need to be updated in the sidewalk and walkways definitely need a power washing. The breakfast is basically Boiled eggs waffles and cereal that's it. The prices someone reasonable for this Hotel not bad stay though. One more thing the shower curtains run a little bit and look like blood but it's not blood it's just the color on the shower curtains bleeding a little bit the orange part.

It's not a fancy place, kinda old but… On a budget it covers everything we needed. Rooms were clean and neat, showers were awesome, has a pool, and has a breakfast. The employees were great, both at the front desk and those that were cleaning up. Not for sure what you are looking for but this place worked for us on our trip thru San Antonio.

Arrived just after midnight. The clerk was trying to catch some dinner, but eagerly helped us check in. We were assigned room 201. The room was clean and spacious. The bathtub is showing its age as a yellow ring (see photo) has developed — it’s clean, just old. The shower head was too low, but the water pressure was good. A remodel should include raising the shower head. It’s here they lose one star but keep in mind, all hotels age. The morning clerk was very kind and cheerful. Easy access off of I-35. Adequate parking which is well lit. Reasonable rates. Give them a try and let them know it was the review by Goyo GTO that influenced your decision.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great stay. They checked on us, more than once, to find out if we needed more bedding or towels or anything else. Everyone was polite, the (free) breakfast was delicious, and everything was very clean. This is our second time back to this location and it will not be our last.

This hotel is definitely a great stay. The rooms are very nice and cozy and the staff was very friendly check in was easy. At about 9 at night they have a security guard that walks around all night and you feel safe.

The location is easy to get to off of I-35, first off. Secondly, the room was clean, spacious, and functional (never thought I'd say that about a hotel). There was a minifridge and a microwave, although I didn't have the opportunity to use either. The bathroom was large and well lit. The desk was also large, as I used it to assemble a LEGO set (which, if you haven't done that in a hotel, you should… it's a different experience). Our phone stopped working, though, but the front desk actually replaces it within 10 minutes of us bringing it to their attention. All in all, it was a great place. It's also within walking distance of a Denny's. After all, everyone knows "La Quinta" is Spanish for "next to Denny's".

We took a group of high school students to the San Antonio Stock Show for a competition. Very easy to check in and out. The kids liked their rooms. The boys especially like their room with 3beds. No one came knocking on the door telling us they were afraid. Good stay.

First room was not made up. Second room had spit on the mirror, toothpaste in the sink, and hair on the counter. A toothpaste cap was stuck down the faucet. Door handles are rusted and rough patch jobs all over the wall. Toilet paper was wadded and shoved in the door peep hole. The entire room smelled of cat urine. Upon returning to the motel room, there were multiple families hanging out on the balconies revealing that people are living here. They were loud up until 9p. Someone in an adjacent room took a shower and it sounded like they were next to me. The continental breakfast consisted of a massive bowl filled with hard boiled eggs, apples, and two dirty waffle stations. The morning crowd were mostly workers getting ready for the day conducting loud phone calls. By far THE WORST motel I've ever stayed in.

The pictures they post are nothing like what it actually looks like inside. We had blood on one of our comforters, and when we called and told them we were told we could come get new sheets, but they only have 1 comforter per bed. So we had to go to the office ourselves and remake our own bed. There was also blood on one of our towels, and both our keys stopped working after our second night for no reason. If I hadn't had already paid for 3 nights we would have cancelled and went somewhere else! It's free breakfast if you can even get in there to eat. Half of it is served in a tiny hallway, so if it's busy just forget it and try going somewhere else. It just wasn't a good experience from the other la Quintas I've stayed in.

I loved staying here and will recommend. It was spacious, very quiet and the room was awesome as well as the staff. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable!

The staff here was AMAZING! There is an African American woman here that I think works in maintenance or housekeeping, I'm so sorry I don't remember her name. My cat was under the bed and wouldn't come out, I had been trying for 30 mins and I have a bad knee so by the time she got in my room I was so frustrated. She came with a broom and guided her out for me. She had a smile that lights up an entire room, she seemed genuinely happy to help me out. Her smile made me happy all day! As I left I saw her carrying bags for a family with that same smile on her face, just as happy as can be. She is a jewel! I recommend you stay there just to see her smile! I don't want to overlook the two ladies that checked me in who made special accommodations for me downstairs due to my knee injury. The room was really nice as well. I was traveling from FL to AZ, this was the best experience by far for lodging. Loved it.

I stay at this hotel 2 to 4 nights a week when I am too tired to drive home from work. They have great staff that are willing to accommodate any check in time as long as they're given notice. There's a very quiet Hotel was a very low crime rate with overnight security. And it's next to a Denny's which is a huge bonus when you want food.

This place is a great value. We had one of the inside rooms at the front of the building. Room was large, updated and had floor to ceiling windows. We were very happy with our stay.

Hard to find since everything directs you to the other one, but its worth the stay. Rooms are quite clean, and its a cute place. Close to restaurants. No bedbugs or other pets, smells clean, and allows pets. Met a dog named Duckie there. 10/10 dog brings it up to 4 stars. Brindle cat hanging around brings it to 5.

This hotel should be closed, it is a cradle of unhealthiness. The minimum you expect when you are paying for accommodation is cleanliness. In an inexpensive hotel I can handle the fact that the room is not comfortable enough, but definitely the cleanliness is not negotiable, especially if you go with small children, but this is null in this hotel. Our room was dirty and smelled horrible, the night table had stains of what looked like a spill of liquid, and in the bathroom there was a pubic hair on the floor. We ask for a room change, and surprise! the bathroom in the second room was dirtier than the first (more hair! ). In the exterior we counted 6 cats, which made us think about the presence of mice, and there were cigarette butts on the hallways floors. Faced with this situation, we left the hotel and asked for a refund. We booked through Priceline, they were really nice, efficient and supportive in the refund process (even when the reservation was not refundable, we recieved refund).

This place is horrible! Called the morning before our stay to make sure they had the kind of room we were wanting available, then made a reservation (never been to this location before and booked room off the appearance they portray online). Once arriving we were told there wasn't a reservation for us and they didn't remember talking to me, but they did have a room available, fine. Walked up to the room and it wasn't what we asked for, but we went in away because after traveling 10 hours with 2 kids we were just ready to be out of the car. Once opening the door there was a strong smell of mildew and the air wasn't on. Kids are playing and we are in the room about 15 mins and their feet are already black from the carpet! The lady at the front desk was so rude when we asked about getting a cup of apple juice for the baby, instead of saying no we don't have any available at the time, she says um that's only for breakfast you should have brought something. Fast forward to bedtime, start baths and notice mold on the wall that has been painted over! This has been by far the worst experience at a hotel ever! I also have pictures of everything and will make a report to health department.

The room was clean upon arrival. I liked the location of the hotel. The service was nice and the breakfast was good. However, the restrooms are due for renovation.

You have one of the worst and most vulgar employee working for u I would think twice about staying here with the kind of racist employees you have. What should of been a simple check in was made hell by your employee marlyin.

Worn down hotel, bathtub/shower was stained, I bought a mat to put down because I was grossed out! The toilet seat lid has bubbles, and is peeling. NO vent in the bathroom. Room smelled like chlorine, bought an air freshener for the room. Bed comfy, easy and convienent location. Staff is super nice, very friendly. A cheap stay, was fine for a week while we waited for the house to close. Dog friendly which was bonus!

I was visiting a friend but when I walked I to the room it did smell like mildew. The hotel was featured by multiple connected fast food restaurants which made it easier to find food. Also located next to major freeway.

Room was clean, A. C. Worked great, no shampoo provided however. They also overbooked and I had to settle for double instead of king. But was a fantastic experience!

Family room was large and spacious. Description is a bit misleading, as it says the room has a separate area with a pull out sofa, but the pull out us actually in the middle of the room. Nice space overall and good for large families. Pool was empty (we were not informed until check-in). Breakfast is typical free breakfast items: Texas shaped waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, etc. Average taste. Overall, it was a good visit.

GLORIOUS! My first stay was a perfect one! So there I was pulling into town late at night. The hotel I plan to stay at was in a bad neighborhood in an unlit parking lot. I had serious concerns that the moving truck I was driving would be gone in the morning. So I drove a few miles away and stayed at this La Quinta! I had never stayed in one before, and was a bit skeptical. The room was perfectly clean and was in such good condition I could have been fooled into believing it was a brand new site. The service was not just friendly it was facilitating, as I had a couple of special requests for my stay. Everything about this stay told me I was in a 5-star hotel that I could not afford but yet it was quite affordable! A repeat customer is born! I will be back… oh yes, I will!

The outside looks rougher then the inside but still not a great place to stay. The benefit is when your traveling with pets of course. I felt safe and would stay again. Room was clean enough but didn't feel like I could walk around without shoes. Price is good though. Lots of restaurants and a bar with in five minutes walk. Breakfast is weak with an instant coffee machine so I just left with out eating and spent the money I saved buying breakfast at Jims. Staff was good and courteous even when running from stocking breakfast items to checking me out.

We are having to hotel for a week in between houses: so far the service is good and the facilities are better than I expected for the price. We are truly appreciating that there were no extra fees for pets.

There is nothing beautiful is very dirty. The bed linen stained. A lot of dust. Mirrors stained. Bad experience.

Great rooms, lots of space. Bathtub could use some renovation, shower head is only about 5'5 above the tub floor, so as a 5'9 man, it's a little difficult to wash my hair. Maid service was great, room is very clean. Highly recommended.

My 2 day visit was very good, the beds were made, the hotel's shower soaps were easy to find, and there's easy access to Wi-Fi. Although there's no safes, it was a nice place to stay in. Breakfast starts at 6 am and ends at 9:30, the usual waffles and pastries.

Convenient location to shops at the Forum. Breakfast is not great but fills the need. Could be much better with some fresh fruits and not over boiling the eggs. Kudos for pet friendly accommodations (no pet fee).

Arrived for a weekend stay Friday to Sunday. The room I booked over a month in advance was not clean or prepared on arrival. Room was very musty like post exercise stench of sweat. Bed looked as if someone had just slept in it. Trash was still present in room. I was put into an equivalent room elsewhere which was to standard. Duration of stay was satisfactory without issues. Price was excellent at under $50 per night. Would consider staying here again if similar pricing is available. If not I would look elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. We arrived around 1AM and got to our room within minutes. The room was cleaned every day, despite us dragging our feet to start our days early, housekeeping never failed. The woman at the front desk answered any question I had throughout our stay and fulfilled the few requests I had. There was a lot of rain during our stay, we noticed a musty smell in the bathroom, but chalked it up to the humidity, it was easily ignored. We moved the nightstand to play a board game between the two beds in the room and found the remains of a bug, no big deal, most exterior properties have that issue, especially the ground floor rooms, like ours. The pool was locked when we tried to use it, but housekeeping let us know to ask the front desk and they would have someone unlock the gate. There were pool towels everywhere, but an employee quickly cleaned the area up. The only thing I disliked about it was everyone was wearing earbuds, all the housekeepers and the maintenance person who opened the pool — they did take at least one out when they spoke to us, but if I had a question, I don't think they would have heard me with both earbuds in. This motel is wonderful, I would definitely stay again and recommend others to stay here. The staff is quite observant, which was most impressive. There are a few restaurants that are mere steps away, there's a pub around the corner, and the I-35N/S were easily accessible. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant stay.

It was not of my pleased, the room was too humid, the bathroom smelled like urine and the shower walls had mold and it had cienpies. The next day, thinking that would make cleaning it was not so, the bathroom was dirty and felt the same way with a lot of moisture in the room and even swept.

The attitude of the person who waited on us was very poor, but with reluctantly because I didn't understand much English. Reserve a room on the first floor and upon arrival we were given another. We returned the money but very bad experience.

This mold (lama) is located in the bath unfortunate mind I'm sick,, I I asked to to please you I will change of room and did not do so I showed them the photo and they took it as not inportaba.

The service was good except for the Wi-Fi because it didnt work.

I use LQ weekly for business trips all over the USA, I have been a elite member for several years and I have a very understanding additude. For some unknown reason the management and the customer service person at the front desk made every effort to drag out the check in for all most an hour this evening. This was after the room was reserved and paid for with my business card on file. It felt as if they did not want my employees to stay there and made every attempt to drag there feet without doing anything wrong. They just did not help us or make us feel welcomed. We will chose this LQ as the last place we will ever stay in the future.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only was the room not clean when I checked in but the front desk staff was rude except for a couple of individuals, one of which I believe to be the manager, who were very nice. Had I been rude I would understand, to a point, but it was completely unnecessary. When I first entered my room, there was trash on the floor, food left in the microwave and fridge, and no trashbags in the trashcans. I stayed for 8 days and on the 7th day I called to have my room cleaned because they wouldn't go in my room while the dogs were in there. The floors were visibly dirty from my dogs and they didn't vacuum. They even left some of the dirty bed linens in my room. The final straw was the rude staff. I would not recommend this la quinta to anyone.

We reserved a room requiring wheelchair accessibility and didn't get that! My husband and son have to pick up the power wheelchair from the parking lot and carry it to the sidewalk because there isn't a ramp. I'm an amputee and can't walk at all. Also the Wi-Fi isn't working. We will NEVER stay here again!

It was Fun and so was break feast I was there For a Week And enjoyed All of it so was the Wi-Fi and TV Was the best.

Worst experience. Never going there again. I have small children. There a lot of young adults drinking and making too much noise. At 1 am a man tried to get in the room. He was kicking and trying to push the door down. My children were crying and scared. Security guard never showed up.

Rooms are small and so is the parking lot abd the pool. But the motel is located in a great location.

Firstly, when we arrived at 6pm we were told we had to wait because there weren't any clean rooms available. Secondly, the desk clerk Jennifer loudly stated our room number 3 times. Then, the first room they gave us, the bed sheets and blanket were filthy. The second room smelled of smoke and the blankets were STILL dirty. Very disappointed. The rooms probably would have been clean if the housekeeping staff wasn't relaxing outside having a smoke break. Will NEVER stay here again.

We stayed here and we're tubing the Comal. It is convenient and a quick drive. Room is a spacious studio with plenty of bed space. Only issues we had was the first room we walked in and maintenance was working in the bathroom and the beds not all made. Not too big a deal and they moved us right away. The next room was identical and fine. Bathroom smelled a bit like old urine and the toilet was really loose on the ground, perhaps causing the source of the smell. We just didn't want to deal with moving again. Shower/tub drained extremely slow, almost completely filled up during a single shower. Overall okay, just some issues that we unfortunate but we dealt with.

Excellent service and great experience. My family enjoyed it a lot.

Horrible. Arrived a night and had open one of those rooms that we had rented with all our belongings in. Very bad experience.

Customer service at the front desk was terrible. My reservation was lost which took over 30 minutes to correct. The room was decent.

You have bed bugs! Do not go.
