I really enjoyed my night at this hotel. The decor was very pleasant, room was spacious and clean, hotel was quiet, bed was comfy, TV had good selection and the staff were very nice. The location is close to restaurants and the ocean side shops and piers. I especially appreciated them allowing me an early check-in so that I could make my appointment.

I’m standing here locked outside the front door. They have a keypad, but I simply forgot the password to get into the building! It’s 9 o’clock in the morning on Sunday. I tried to call the number in order for someone to help me get in and there’s no answer or a fax machine. This is a way overpriced hotel although the interior is quite nice. No amenities whatsoever worth the price. Thankfully I’m not in an urgent situation.

The Vietnam Resteraunt is top notch! Get a top shelf margarita from Tim. Their calamari is the best I've ever had, ribs are spectacular, half roasted chicken is awesome, there is not a bad dish in this place and I've been eating there for years!

Awesome experience. There are only 8 rooms in this hotel, so there is minimal noise and interruptions from other guests. The rooms reminded me much more of an actual bedroom/bathroom at a mansion instead of cookie-cutter rooms at the big chain hotels. Make sure you take in a meal at the elegant Vietnamese restaurant downstairs. Excellent food.

The hotel and staff are very nice, however, if you are used to staying in a hotel this is not the same experience. This "hotel" is more of a renovated apartment building. The rooms are nice but there are only about 8 rooms and they are all located on the 2nd floor above a restaurant. The rooms were clean and taken care of, but it felt odd when expecting a hotel stay.

Small hotel in an excellent location, with free parking, a friendly staff, and maybe the most comfortable bed I've slept on in years. Fantastic stay!

It's unique and cute. I think it's cool to stau there. Restaurant downstairs is yummy but expensive.

Very nice boutique hotel. Small but homey. I liked that it was pet friendly! So the whole family was able to be there. Room was very clean and neat. All normal amenities were there. We arrived very late at night so the parking was a little weird due to it being above a restaurant. But safe nonetheless. Great overall stay. A little above what I would usually want to pay, but since it was pet friendly, it was worth it.

I disagree with the ratings. Staff was nice. Rooms are on the 2nd floor between lounge upstairs and restaurant on ground level. Lots of road noise. My room was dated but clean for the most part. Not worth $160 bucks in my opinion and that was their corporate rate. Would have to pass and find something different next time.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel. Very comfortable lobby area. Did not stay in a guest room but was impressed with the staff and cozy feel.

Lunch was superb! I always enjoy the black pepper fried broccoli. Wait staff is always helpful and attentive.

We had a nice studio room. Staff was great. The small number of rooms meant that the hustle and bustle normally found at a hotel was pleasantly absent. Great for an anniversary.

First time in corpus and I thought this place was going to be a big fancy hotel but its not. Its right behind all the big fancy hotels and I think people write it off because of that Im so glad we didn't it was super nice! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and this place was really clean it has about 12 rooms and its above a Vietnamese restaurant but don't let that fool you this place is amazing! Definitely recommend staying here if you want to stay some place nice but not extremely expensive.

This little eight room boutique hotel is very quiet and quaint. I loved that it was romantic and very small. Linda, the receptionist, was so very sweet and gave us many suggestions for dinner, entertainment and restaurants. Linda was very attentive to our needs. The bed and pillows were super luxurious and comfortable. I loved the Le'Occitane soaps and toiletries. It's close to the waterfront and we loved it. The only minus is that the carpet was very dirty and needed shampooing! The view from our room was horrible, just a rooftop air conditioner … please shampoo the carpet as my hubby's allergies flared up : (

The rooms are well maintained. Its quiet and with little traffic going through the hallways. We had a difficult time with check in and upon checking out we were told that we had not paid for the 2 nights reserved. However my bank statement clearly should I had. Our microwave did not work and they offered no solution to fix it. They don't offer a breakfast and the room service prices for muffins, bagels and juice is pricey. Also the restaurant downstairs has odd hours of operation so we never had a chance to eat there. The room is stocked with sodas, wine and snacks but not for free. Everything had a price and not a reasonable price. Good thing there is a convenience store within walking distance so we could buy our own drinks and snacks at a realistic price. I would recommend this place for a quiet romantic getaway. But not sure if I wil personally stay again.

Booked through Trip Adviser. The allocated room was average although nice decor. The toilet was leaking and every five minutes the cistern topped up and the fan had a loud hum so I didn't sleep well the first night. The management could not get the toilet fixed on the next day so they moved me to room 8 which was nearly twice the size. So I had two great nights. The hotel is centrally located so easy to walk to the bars and clubs (1-3 blocks). Also one block from the waterfront. And a nice walk to the art gallery. Friendly staff.

Very cute, quaint and well maintained. Would stay there again! And they allow doggies!

Way to under rated for the money. It was nice being a block from Ocean Drive, but they didn't care enough to fix cracks in the walls or repair with paint for the July 4th weekend or leave their restaurant open. So we couldn't even enjoy our anniversary weekend. They didn't give us any discount either for such messy conditions.

Walked in and was overwhelmed! Beautiful and quiet! Amber is a great hostess! The room is wonderful and they are pet friendly! Just met Molly and Lexie sweet puppy dogs! I actually extended my stay another day after I got here.

Wonderful weekend stay from 2/27 to 3/2. I love the genuine hospitality and personal touches. The V is far superior to the bland, generic, impersonal corporate chains that dominate Corpus Christi.
Thank you to Andy, Marissa, Emily, and Stephanie for making my stay so enjoyable.
I'll definitely be back.

What a quaint place… I love quirky places like this… pass over the large chain hotels! This place is lovely!

My wife and I stayed here August 2011 and were very pleased. Only 8 rooms available. Very quaint. Rooms well appointed, Beds have memory foam tops and were very comfortable. Dish network. Urban setting so no view; good location to bay and downtown.

So the pictures posted online look so great. But the box I stayed in was not so great. For the price I paid it should have been a suite. I should have stayed in the Omni across the street. I feel so ashamed.
