I love the Days Inn franchise but in small towns that are set up like motels and not hotels, they aren't AS nice. This one was bettet than the last couple we've stayed in, but still left a bit to be desired. Overall a decent night's rest but it could have been better. One amazing feature was the staff on duty when we arrived. Rose V. She was courteous, helpful and friendly. And when we had a problem with the A/C in our room she promptly (1 minute) came to check the problem and moved us immediately. That was impressive. And I applaud her customer service skills.

Great place for a great price! The day time front desk help is always polite and eager to answer any questions you might have! They work quickly to get you in a room and point out all of the many amenities that are there to help make your stay more enjoyable! The large rooms are clean, comfortable, and roomy. They provide a full breakfast in the morning that's always good. The evening/over night front desk person is also nice and accommodating too! They even have a laundry facility that is provided for all of their guests free of charge! Over all, this hotel and the staff there make you want to come back! Compared to other hotels similar to this one, the price you pay for the room and amenities included at this hotel are a far better deal than that of the others!

The first room (non-smoking) smelled of smoke and the carpet smelled. The microwave cart was old and had cracks. The second room didn't smell as bad as the first room but the smell is in the carpet. The mirowave cabinet has a big piece missing. The toilet seat has several nicks and should be replaced. The mattress was not comfortable. The drapes are frayed and old. The staff were helpful and friendly.

First of all, I checked-in for a non-smoking room and I got the cigarettes-more stinkier room there was available, had to go up and down twice in order to get a clean room; oh, did I forget to tell you that I’m disable? Second, the ceiling on the bathroom is falling apart and the room’s door you have to push it after you key in because t gets stuck. Last but not least, my last day here (May 27) I arrived to the breakfast room at 9:55 am, (breakfast finish at 10:00), and I wasn’t allowed to grab some breakfast, even though there was 5 minutes left. Needless to say, I AM NOT staying here again.

The red headed, long bearded man at the front desk was not customer friendly. I asked for 2 extra towels and 2 washcloths and he told me I had to bring the dirty ones back in front of another customer. I said I didn’t feel that was too much to ask for and he said it was my attitude. He said if I didn’t like it I could fill out a customer complaint in front of the gentleman standing in line. How embarrassing and rude. I am here visiting my son who is in the military. How sad to be treated like this over 2 towels and washcloths! Everyone else was nice except him. The rooms and rates were good, but it only takes one person to ruin my day. The breakfast lady was so sweet.

Place so nice in a Perfect Location. The room is very big. Free Wi-Fi. Free laundry. Coffee maker in your room. Coffee in the lounge. Breakfast in the morning.

This is our second time staying at Days Inn in Killeen. It is always a pleasure staying here. The rooms are clean, linens are changed on Wednesdays and Fridays; staff are really nice, breakfast is great, can't ask for anything more and at a very reasonable price. You should come and stay.

I reserved a room with a King bed. Upon checking in I was advised there wasn't one available they only had a queen. Im tired so I took it. When preparing to check out, housekeeping is referring to me as ghetto. When she realized my door was open she says "oh" and ducks off into another room. I don't know what she looks like and she has never seen me. I wasn't loud, disruptive or causing an issue last night. So for her to say that pissed me off. I will not be staying at this location again. I have it a 3 because the room was clean and not bad for the price.

I've stayed there on three occasions so far over the last two months, booking a discounted room deal via one of the online venues like Priceline, Orbitz, etc. Each non-smoking room was nicely appointed with furniture, a large flat screen TV and had crisp, clean linen and towels. The A/C and Heating units worked just fine. The front desk personnel were courteous and pleasant. I mistakenly booked a smoking room one of the stays and the front desk didn't hesitate to switch me to a non-smoking room without any extra charges and honored the same discounted online price. The only notable negative is the stained carpets in the rooms.

I am oringally from Florida. In Florida the days inn are usually the bottom pick in the barrel. Here in Texas the last two Days Inns I have stayed in have been great. This one is really nice and clean. And I recommend anyone who is in the Killeen area to stay here. The manager Elish is wonderful.

It's a moderately priced and pretty well kept hotel. Downside. No pool.

Doors didnt work had to keep moving me around till I finally got one yhat wotked the room smelled shower leaked TV was sorry shall I go on.

Nice place, quick check-in, friendly staff.

We were woke to bed bugs this morning. Sunday, March 13th 2016

The rooms are fairly clean but the area is bad and the manager is rude. It is right in front of a Wal-Mart but it is nearly impossible to get to said Wal-Mart. The housekeeping is nice and made sure that we have fresh towels.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They are so kind. Heres a few I know the names to… Chelsea, Andrea (sp? ), kelley. They are amazing. They made my stay awesome! So sweet, kind, accomidating and helpful. The room was clean and nice for the price. All the maids were so sweet to my precious black lab. No one acted afraid and they gave her such lovies. She as never been treated so special at a hotel either. We have really enjoyed our stay two weekends in a row. We dont eat hotel breakfast anywhere, so I cant review that and dont care. I am shocked that there are actually are negative comments. But, some people will always find something wrong.

The hotel was clean. It was nice to come into beds made every evening. One night the staff had even spread one of my daughter's blanket on one bed, and my son's on the other. We thought it was such an adorable touch. We stayed for a long weekend, and come Monday morning, we had genuinely forgotten the breakfast ended at 9:30 instead of 10 AM. It was 9:31. The staff very graciously allowed us to serve ourselves. The staff there was incredibly sympathetic instead of huffing and puffing about my oversight. We were very appreciative of their patience with us, as it is so hard to find these days. We will definitely be back.

The owner or manager was super nice. He offered to let me stay at a nicer hotel he owned next door for the same rate do to there being a cricket and spider in my room, was so thankful for his kind understanding.

The big thing that made me love it so much is the staff. They are kind and easy going. Ive had to stay her 5 days in a row due to some complications and they have accommodated me excellent. Rooms are spotless! I will stay in this one again if I have to! Its well worth staying here. ps. I did not eat the breakfast in the morning so I cant say how that is. Im sure its good with the way the other services have been.

Stayed at this place in Sept 2010. Not to be confused with the older one down the street which looks like a dump. New building and furninshings. Very nice, very clean. 2 thumbs way up. Pet friendly. Will be staying again next month for certain.

I've read some less than pleasant reviews about this particular hotel and I am wondering if the other reviewers even stayed in the same hotel that my wife and I did. Our room was very clean, the hotel was quiet and the customer service from ALL of the staff was wonderful. I couldn't say enough good things about our stay. Except, THANKS.
