Love this place the remodel is amazing looks like a 5 star hotel the staff is very friendly you will be impressed by this place very clean and the price is reasonable I give this place 5 stars and recommend it.

Staff was 100%! This hotel was extremely clean and I felt right at home as soon as I walked thru the door. The service was 100% on point and I would recomend any of you hotels to any of my friends and family Thank you.

This hotel was horrible, they denied me a new room after my TV was broken all night, when I asked for some kind of reimbursement the manager mike told me that it was my fault that I didnt continue to call about the problem. He acted very angry and proceeded to yell at me. If anyone would like a honest review, THIS IS IT!

The best bang for your buck in the Fort Hood area. You get the comfort and security of being in Harker Heights for a killer deal. Rooms have a newer contemporary look and feel and the staff here is so amazing and helpful. Super military friendly establishment who support Fort Hood Soldiers. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again! Best deal in town.

Nice hotel quiet quaint I guess except for my group which open the door a handful of times in sleep during the day and are up at night due to work I guess that's frowned upon there and they didn't like our company so I like the hotel the management not so much.

Very limited continental breakfast. Only hot item was waffles. Small property in congested but convenient area. Nice big rooms newly and tastefully decorated. Maid came in the room at 9 (we were still asleep) we told her we were staying till check-out at noon, then she called at 10, then called again at 11:45, Then was at the door at exactly noon! I've never felt so rushed to leave a hotel!

We recently stayed at Super 8 in Harker Heights, TX and had a great experience! The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was good as well. It was very convenient to restaurants and retail stores and close to our families house that we were visiting. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

I had many issues with the hotel. There was a persistent stench in the hotel. The pillows were decorative pillows instead of the standard size pillows. Had issues with the A. C. The bed was super hard. It was just overall a terrible experience.

Our room was excellent! Our A/C worked great as well as our hot water, beds were comfy, and love that there was a mini fridge n microwave.

Recently updated hotel. Clean, safe, and very helpful staff. I've never stayed in a Super 8 before but had to since every other decent hotel in town was booked solid during the time I was visiting. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations! They even have an agreement with the 24 hr gym next door so you can get a work out in during your stay if that's your thing. My only complaint is that the included breakfast is your standard mediocre continentel fare. If I was put in the same situation or was traveling and just needed a place to rest my head I would definitely stay here again.

When it comes to hotel searching, we all want a place where we can feel at home. Super 8, the manager, and his staff all give this place a home-away-from-home feel. It's inviting, and the staff is always out to make sure their guests have the best service during their stay. What I get from the staff and manager is a sense of pride in their hotel. The rooms are cozy, very roomy, clean, and comfortable. My family and I felt very safe here throughout our stay. It's a quiet area of Harker Heights, which makes this hotel very relaxing. The walls are thick, so you don't hear your neighbors in the next room. The bathroom, as well as the bathtub is very roomy. Beds are comfortable, too! I am so thankful we found this place, and so grateful to the manager for going the extra mile in making sure our extended stay felt like home to us. I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it!

Loved it! Superb customer service, especially from the front desk attendant; Mecka, as I recall. Two thumbs up for professional conduct as well as a pleasure to interact with. I felt like I was coming home each night.

Needed a cheap hotel at the last minute. We were pleasantly surprised with our room. I am a bit picky when it comes to hotels but would definitely recommend this one if you're not looking to spend a whole lot of money. Staff was friendly too!

Large spacious comfortable rooms, very helpful front desk clerk. He was on top of anything I needed! Only issue the AC was very noisy. But other than that, it's a beautiful location and souls stay there again!

The building was nice and clean, the staff (especially Nelly) were amazing! They were very polite, professional, and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose Super 8 for our wedding party. I couldn't be more pleased. The owner Mike was amazing to work with along with the manager Nelly. Together they made our reservations and stay amazing. My dad flew in from Germany and stayed there for about two weeks and had nothing but great things to say about the his stay and the treatment by the manager Nelly. He is pretty hard to please. I checked in a day before our big day and I can say the personalized treatment felt so warm and welcoming. She even had a cute wedding gift for us in both of the rooms that we rented. Nelly made sure we had everything we need without hiccup. She even brought up a waffle on my wedding day to my room. My new husband and I felt right at home. Myself, hubby, and all guests hated to leave. Thank you Super 8 and Nelly for making our experience wonderful.

These rooms were disgusting. It smelled like urine all over the hallways. It is really sad because this hotel is pretty new. The staff is not helpful at all! The assistant manager looked intoxicated of something. I would never go back. A terrible experience.

This hotel is terrible. The staff for one harassed us the whole time we were there. If you asked for something they just had the worst attitudes. Customer service skills are poor. They need to retrain the staff about customer service. I would not recommend anybody to stay there because they go through your stuff. They need to check their employees because that manager looked intoxicated the whole time. The worst experience I've had and I travel all the time.

At this price point, I was somewhat displeased. Bed was awesome but the air conditioner did not seem to ever get cool enough and the big tv, very poor picture quality-almost unviewable-something was messed up with the settings but that was probably a fluke. The towels should be much nicer, that would make a huge difference. Other than those things, the stay was awesome. I would forgive the tv, the a/c was also probably due to such a hot day. Upgrade the towels and I will be back.

Nice. Not a lot to choose from for complimentary breakfast. You would think for $70 a night there would be better food choices. Cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffle, orange juice, apple juice oh yes bread white or wheat that can toast. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

Very nice and clean place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked the hotel rooms for my wedding and all of my family and friends enjoyed their stay. The hotel is near my home in Harker Heights and will have all my friends and family stay at this Super 8 hotel from now on. The only one complaint I got was the phone was not working in one of the rooms. The price is higher than most hotels, but for the quality, features and amenities they provide its worth it. Spend the extra money at this hotel, you won't be disappointed. They got huge 42" LCD TV's in the rooms. Thank you.

When this super 8 first opened it was great but since the new management the customer service here is HORRIBLE! The woman at the front desk was very weird and rude. I had to ask for simple things such as more syrup and forks because there weren't any supplied. At the time the rates were a very good price but if you want good customer service I'd shop around.

Like others have posted, this place is still fairly new. I'll list some of the likes and dislikes. Likes: Courteous front desk staff (haven't interacted with housekeeping staff) Clean room Large HDTV Dislikes: Internet — not all rooms have wireless capability, and SLOW even when connecting to network via ethernet cable Breakfast — not enough to choose from (fruit, bagles, waffle, cereal). Noise — Rooms in the rear of the hotel have to deal with dogs barking in the residential area immediately behind the hotel. All in all not a bad stay. Haven't tried to locate a fitness center or laundry, yet. Definitely good for someone looking to spend only 1-3 nights here. Any longer, I'd find somewhere else.

I could not believe how nice the room was. The motel is new. Nice 42" flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, wired and wireless internet. Very comfortable office chair and desk and another chair for relaxing. For the money you can't go wrong. Very Very Clean. I have stayed at places twice the price not half this nice. Will definitey stay again on return trip. Rob.

This was not our first choice. The other hotel Sleep Inn and Suites on E Central Texas Expy moved us here do to they did not keep our reservation. The room is dirty to say the least. They just opened in May 2009 and can believe how dirty everything is. Bath tub has black marks, walls also has markings every where. First night here hope it goes will. Glad I brought my own cleaning supplies! I know one thing the maid will not be coming in to clean. Do a much better job myself.
