I really enjoyed staying here. I was traveling as a solo female for business and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. My biggest complaints were I felt the pillows were too soft and the room could have been cleaner (a bit of mold (? ) in the tub surround). However, I did see the rooms being cleaned daily so it didn't really bother me. The front desk personnel were helpful and professional. If I came back to the round rock area, I would stay at this location again.

A nice, clean comfortable overnight stop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to restaurants, movies and other entertainment venues. Amenities include fast Wi-Fi, pool, fitness room, pet-friendly, ample breakfast.

It's rare that I write a review and I never write a bad one, but I have to comment because a dirty bathroom is inexcusable. I've read other reviews, the complaints are pretty much the same; a response from Sam P. The GM sounds appreciative, but my experience was very similar to others. Here's the deal… the property is badly outdated and the carpets need to be replaced in a bad way; but that's ok as long as the place is clean. Bed felt like mine at home, a/c worked, and room was comfortable. But the bathrom quite frankly was unacceptable. There were several long stray hairs on my filthy bathroom floor, a long black hair right next to the folded towel on the edge of my tub (whoever cleaned the room didn't even care enough about its guests to remove the hair), the tub needs a good scrubbing, and the bathroom sink didn't drain. Also, the under curtain was very dirty around the edges from a lack of cleaning. So here's some advice from someone who spent years in the hospitality industry: make an investment in the property, put some new carpeting and curtains in the rooms, and dismiss whomever it is that's in charge of housekeeping because it's obvious they don't care enough about the guests to provide even a clean bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but our top sheet had a bunch of stains on it. I asked for all new bedding, but due to the late hour, they could only change our top sheet. I understand that he couldn't change the whole bed and he was very nice about it, but I do wish we could've gotten new sheets too.

The staff was rude. The breakfast was second rate compared to other La Quinta Inns we have stayed at. The carpet in the room was filthy not just dirty.

The rooms were comfortable except I found dirty tissue behind my night Stand, the bathtub could've been more cleaner. The breakfast was good and Mrs. Carolyn who sets up the breakfast was very polite and help me when I needed it. If it wasn't for her I would give this place 3 stars.

The price was very reasonable and the staff were very helpful/friendly. Loved the fact that they allowed dogs. Had a pool and hot tub that, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to use. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are dated, as everyone has stated. That's okay though. The bathtub is huge, but I'm not using it. The room has been cleaned, but not well. One of the double beds has a comforter with a black stain on it. The bathtub and toilet is not cleaned thoroughly. There is dirt and other marks on the toilet seat lid. There is dirt in the bathtub. The elevator at the front of the hotel is broken so guests have to use the back elevator and walk a long ways to their room. All understandable with a La Quinta as it's not even close to a 4 star hotel. But… when I booked the hotel I requested late check out at about 5:30. I did not get a phone call or email stating I would not be able to check out late. Check out is at noon. I asked about checking out late when I checked in and was told no, there would be no late check out, I could only purchase another night. There were no suggestions or compromises. I mean, it's 4 now and rooms are still getting cleaned. There was no well we could let you stay until 2 or 3. Nothing. I have stayed in many hotels and never have I ever not been able to check out late. It makes no sense as I am staying for an event and brought my dogs. Where are they supposed to stay when the event runs until 5? Last La Quinta I'll stay in. Update: there is mold/mildew behind the bathroom door.

Pros: big room, simple hotel layout, convenient stops nearby Cons: price, hot tub that doesn’t work. I’m sorry, but if I pay 160$ for a room, I expect a working hottub. A full hotel of people paying the same amount or more should more than afford you to buy a heat pump for it. You offer amenities, but your customers can’t enjoy them. Sorry for the bad review but it’s principal. Also had a convention in the hotel and some of the people were very loud stomping through the hall and slamming doors all night. Next time I’ll go to Austin and get a suite to avoid the broken parts and disrespectful guests.

Worse hotel I've ever been too. Seriously, my dad and I went there just for the night and the next morning I got 5 welts on my back and shoulder! Its bad enough that when my dad reserved a room, they did not have the room available (thankfully we were able to get one) but getting bitten by bedbugs and getting welts was not what I wanted. If that is how they clean their rooms or they don't keep their rooms clean, I do not want people to go there. Even if it is just for the night.

Attentive staff, everything very clean, the dining area is very good.

Very dated laquinta. Love laquinta but won't be staying at this one ever again. Have stayed at hourly motels cleaner and nicer than this.

Room was very clean and the whirlpool bathtub was awesome. Over all we very much enjoyed our stay. However it was really odd how the so called suite was set up. It was clearly two separate rooms and they had just taken the bed out of one room and replaced it with a couch. It was also weird to walk in and find a maintenance man posted up on the king size bed watching TV. If he was going to take a break in one of the rooms he could have at least went on the other side and sat on the couch instead of our bed.

Most hotels have refrigerators in the rooms these days. I was expecting a fridge, but there was not one, so I had to get ice for my medicine. The ice machine on my floor did not work, so I had to continuously go downstairs to refill my ice bucket. It was a hassle. Also, the counter staff when I checked out was not very friendly.

Nothing to complain about, clean and well priced with friendly staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would, Patel, Subhash tossed my I. D in the trash bin for not booking a room with them after he gave me false information on the phone, when I showed up he tells me a whole different thing. Had to get cops involved to get my I. D back while he was telling me he didn’t have it but he did. Would not recommend to my worst ememy.

For an inexpensive place it did a great job. No complaints and would recommend it to anyone that’s just cruising by. The breakfast was simple but met the need of a grab and go. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. We payed less than $50 for the night and up to $70 would be a fare price.

Unclean place and unkind staff. We got there at 12:30, and the lady didn't let us check in until three, when the confirmation email said we could check-in any time from 12-3. Smells like smoke all over the place, and water runs out. Worst hotel experience so far.

Always the rooms r clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is excellent. I just wish they had more of a selection of fruit.

Right off the highway so it's a bit noisy. Free breakfast (cereal and waffles) but there is an IHOP right next door for something more filling. However the coffee wasn't to bad.

Loyal member of La Quinta. This specific unit needs some work. — Shower facet came off — Deadbolt wouldn't lock on door — AC unit leaked and kept dripping onto wet carpet — Ceiling had what looked like water damage The staff was kind and breakfast was good, but room itself was not acceptable.

Decent hotel, no major complaints. Staff is extremely friendly, very understanding. It was always slightly humid in the room but the air conditioning dimmed it down a bit. It's not a super fancy place and that's fine. It's a place you rent temporarily for shelter when you can't be at home. As long as the place isn't full of broken glass and landmines I don't really care. Everything seems reasonably clean so you get 4 stars which I think is pretty fair.

Not super happy… waited at the front desk for about 15 to 20 mins. 2 front desk people came together being silly from the back room. Whole pool area is closed, why advertise a pool. I understand things happen but make an option on the website thats says pool is not open. We chose this location for a pool for our kids to enjoy the trip. Also. Very dark back parking lot. Very unsafe feeling when walking to the car. Wont return to this location again.

Front desk was accommodating after the multiple errors. Gave the wrong room. Requested a mini fridge and microwave for my 9 month old baby but to no avail. Explained to front desk and gave me the correct room but I had to wait 45 min for it to be clean mind you it was pushing 6pm. Now the second room was riddled with hair in the bathroom. Sink drain plugged. Roaches roaches roaches. Yuck. We had to stay from having a gathering in the conference room and that was bad too! Leaking ceiling. Such a horrible stay.

Booked in advance. Drove 10 hours. Arrived and room not ready. We booked on ground floor due to bad foot and hip. No elevators here. They downgraded us to keep us on the ground floor and said that's what they had. The entrance looked fine but as soon as we entered the hallway the smell was horrible! As soon as we opened the room door it was gross and smelled like they just sprayed with RAID really strong. We walked out and won't go back. Don't stay here I recommend.

Overall a decent hotel. We got there after 4pm and had to wait for nearly an hour for our room to be ready but the room was very spacious and clean. I made several complaints to the front desk about a dog barking in the room below us all day and night but issue wasn't resolved. The pool and hot (warm) tub were quite small but clean and breakfast was good. The staff were all very friendly and for the most part helpful except for the barking dog issue. We will stay there again if in the area.

It's sad that unfortunately I have to rate a star at all. This place has one of the worst customer services I have ever heard of. Reservations for several rooms were made at this hotel and because they got busy they decided to give up the rooms. Finding a hotel anywhere late night is nearly impossible. I mean what a horrible staff not to even apologize, offer anything in regards to their mistake. What a poor excuse of a hotel. I will also be contacted the Management and BBB to let them know things like this, are not okay. Be loyal on your reservations or don't make them at all. You cause people headaches for no reason. Will never stay at any one of your hotels again. Please get your staff in check.

Clean, free breakfast, it's in a location that makes it hard to walk to anywhere really but we use uber so it wasn't terrible. Amazing bathtub, able to fit two large adults comfortably.

First they don't have 2 beds in handicapped rooms. Which meant I had to a regular room. It was nice and the bathtub was huge. I couldn't get in because I was afraid of falling. If the tubs had handles in order to get in and out safely. Also the toilets could be upgraded to a taller one for everyone's safety. The room was clean and the staff very nice. Didn't try the breakfast as I was on a very tight schedule to be somewhere. I would probably stay here again only in a handicapped room. Remember not everyone travels wirh partners. Need some rooms with 2 beds for handicapped.

My husband and I have been to many La Quinta Inn throughout the U. S since we have traveled. I have seen the very worst and the very best. This one was pretty good. I was a little apprehensive about staying at this one because of all the bad reviews, however my husband convinced me to stay at this one. We arrived early and was allowed to check in early. I was given my water and snack since I am en elite member. I thought this was great because some don't care if you are elite and don'g give you a snack, water or upgrade. The lady at the front desk was very very nice. They have elevators and stairs. The room was clean and had a huge tub. The bed was comfy and it was quiet in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel. Again, I have seen a lot of bad reviews, but trust me when I say this is not the worst.

I gave this hotel 1 star because I was not able to give it zero. We stayed there for a soccer tournament and had about 9 different rooms. Everyone in our group complained of dirty rooms. My room had urine on the toilet rim that had not been cleaned. There was popcorn on the floor at the foot of the bed that had not been vacuumed. The chair in my room looked like it had been chewed on by a dog, which is probably what happened since the hotel allowed guests with dogs and there were at least 5 in the hotel that we saw. A friend found little short, curly hairs in their bathtub that had not been cleaned. The lobby area did not have air conditioning and was very hot for breakfast. When we tried to hang out there in the evening, we had to ask to have the A/C turned on but it could not keep up. Everyone in our group was in agreement that we would never stay at this location again, regardless of price. There was not just a problem with 1 out of 9 rooms, but 9 out of 9 were filthy!

Bed was comfy. Quiet rooms. Giant tub. Breakfast was alright. Was alright.

It was alright. They got us a room last minute with 2 queens got 2 nights for a total of 140. The roof was leaking in the lobby and the breakfast was nothing to get excited about but the service was great and our room was cleaned well. All in all I would stay there for a weekend but not too much longer.

Hated this place! Elevator is broken and tried to put me on the 3rd floor smoking floor. First they said they didn't have any rooms after I told them I had a reservation. Then after complaining that my room and whole floor reeked of smoke, they amazingly found another room on another floor. After leaving for 2 days, I checked my credit card statement and they had charged my card for another guest. Never stay there again!

11/10/15 Checked out of this flea bag this morning! No elevator No real coffee It's dirty It stinks Also, flash the toilet, it would keep running water, would have to reach into tank to stop! Charged $135.00n with AAA discount. May never stay at a La Quinta Inn again, this on is a disgrace to the name. Jack Branson.

I disagree with all the other reviews. I stayed here for two days and had no problems. The outside looks a little dated but the rooms are in great condition (Besides some older appliances). It was definitely worth the price. I would stay here again if I ever came through Texas.

Clean and very attentive. IHOP next door was super plus although the breakfast at hotel is top notch! Stayed on business but will stay again.

It was good I think they charge too much for the quality of the room. I wouldnt pay more than 90 to stay there again. The breakfast there is okay. We ate next door instead at hotel even though it was free. They used to serve eggs and bacon years ago it used to be the best. The first night we kept finding blonde hair in our sheets we asked for them to change they did which was good.

First off all, know that my wife and I really like La Quinta, but this one was by far THE WORSE one I have ever stayed in. From the moment me and my wife stepped in, we could tell this hotel REALLY needed soooo much maintenance and cleaning. The first floor smelled nasty since the moment we walked in, I don't know if it was the carpet or what it was, but the smell was very strong. We got there at 12:30, and the lady didn't let us check in until three, when the confirmation email said we could check-in any time from 12-3. After the long wait, we finally checked-in, and went to our room. The elevator had dog crap in the floor, which almost made my pregnant wife throw up. When we got to the third floor, I felt like I was in a casino, the whole hallway smelled like there had been smoking for hours. I was glad to have gotten a non-smoke room, so we could get away from all the smells, but when we got there, not to our surprise anymore, the room had a strong cigarette smell. The guy who helped us was very kind, he came and spray the room, which made the smell go away. Breakfast was alright, I was expecting to see more variety like in other la Quinta hotels though. To end it up, before we left the water went off, so we couldn't shower, or use the restroom! we were going to wait until it came back so we could at least shower, but they didn't let us, we had to check out at 12, even though we checked in at 3! and even though the water went off.

The beds were extremely comfortable would have given 5 stars except the hotel wasn't that full and the front desk couldn't find any extra pillows.

The building is old and you can see it mostly on the exterior and the rooms. The bathroom was dirty, so even though there was a huge soaker tub you didn't dare take a bath because of how dirty it was. The hallways were like a sauna that only magnified the stench. Luckily the room was not smoke-filled and was nice and cool. Toiletries were severely lacking. Service was good — the guy even helped take my things out to my car upon check out so that was nice. Definitely *not* worth the price of admission. I've stayed in much nicer, more attentive hotels for less.

My husband and I have been staying here for 6 days and have had a great experience. The hotel is clean and quiet. They allow all dogs I mean every breed and size at no extra cost. Pretty good breakfast and great staff. They have a gym and pool. We got a great deal of 59.99 a night, free Wi-Fi and our dogs were welcome, can't beat that.

The rooms are very clean. Nice staff too.

The hotel is clean and is in a good area surrounded by every kind of business you can imagine except for a grocery store. Typical breakfast selections are available. The bathroom is nice with a garden tub that is probably 80+ gallons (large). The staff has been courteous. I've had problems with the Wi-Fi being either down or limited connectivity. Overall a good experience for the price, but nothing special.
