It's a $62 dollar room, so what should I have expected? Anyway, my room was haunted by the ghost of a man who must've been a chain-smoker who slathered himself in coconut oil and then died. And then was left to turn to mold. The smell was so nasty, I couldn't sleep. Stains on the wall, on the fabric chair by the bed. The sheets weren't as low thread count as I would have thought. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're about to fall asleep at the wheel. For those of you who don't comprehend hyperbole, I'll recap: room smells strongly of smoke, mold, and there was an attempt to cover the smell with some sort of coconut air freshener.

I have been a guest at Super 8 Waxahachie several times. The service is very friendly and the rooms are clean and updated. It's never too crowded and there is always ample parking.

Service was fine, breakfast is lackluster relative to other super 8s, and the construction is causing minor issues. On an unrelated note, our door handle fell off in the middle of the night, making it difficult to exit the room.

The place is kept poorly, the carpet and Furniture are in extremely poor shape. The owner is a thief for lack of better words. You'll be overcharged, your booking will be degraded no matter what you think you confirmed. The price will change when you arrive. This is talking from for different experiences. I gave credit for the mistake the first time. The second time I got suspicious but still tried to give them a break and just cancel the reservation. The third time when I showed up in the prices were all different and they didn't have the room they promised I was definitely suspicious and warned them so as well as going elsewhere. Then one of my employees and their family book there without asking me first and they got two different prices. They got their confirmation price. Followed by their checking price and downgraded room from what they were promised, then when they checked out there was over $100 difference on the bill. This place is a total rip-off. The owner is stingy and the location is horrible, dirty, and unkept.

We stayed here one night this weekend to go to Scarborough fair. We went to go to the swimming pool and it looked like soup. We were told that it was just cleaned. Then after my daughter decided to swim. We tried to take a shower no hot water! The next morning guess what? No hot water. The morning receptionist was rude. No apology and looked like he was a star wars character with a mouthful of something he never stopped chewing. Save yourself the hassle. Don't stay here.

Had the "King Suite" It was half painted. The dresser had one broken drawer and the other one was really dirty. The desk front was broken and the chair was jammed under it. The recliner was placed in from of the bathroom door. The day we stayed there was 96 outside and they did not have the air turned on. ONLY STAIRS and two floor. I have trouble climbing stairs. When that was brought up we were not offered anything else. The person that checked us in only talked to my husband. We also only got one key. This is only the room we stayed in. The breakfast room was another story. I will never stay here again.

Had 73 year old disabled friend stay here last night (03052018). About 2am two individuals with a key card broke into his room and stole $500.00 from his wallet while he was sleeping. They had a key card! It woke him up and they ran out! Night clerk berated him telling him it was his fault and delayed calling the police. Finally did call police. Was night clerk in on it? They think so… Run away from this place, never go here! You are in grave danger! They will blame you for the problem! Hope he files lawsuit as was advised! Also when I checked him out and got a refund for the second night, the paperwork showed he used a credit card to pay for one of the two nights and cash for the other. We paid cash for both nights he doesn't have a credit card and the night clerk told me the card was credited. We did get cash back for unused night. Clerk acted very guilty when pressed for cash refund!

Room smell like someone being smoking in the room. Water just warim not hot. Had to carry luggage to 2nd floor on the stairs. 35 traffic could not sleep.

"How did you get in here" was the first question out of the front desk clerks mouth. It's one in the morning, we would have thrown whatever amount asked at him had he not been so rude. In addition he quoted a much higher price. No problem, bro. We don't want to stay at your rat motel anywau.

There is obvious effort being put into this facility. While there is still a bit of work to be done it's a cheap place to stay, they offer weekly rates (good to put up visiting family members), and if you just need a place to sleep and shower you'll be fine with this place.

Recently renovated, better than motel 6, and cheap place to store in-laws you don't want staying with you and don't want to pay more than $60 a night. Weekly rates are avaible and the area kinda sucks.

Very quiet place. Enjoying our 2 week stay. Good breakfast.

I have spent a considerable amount of time in cheap motel such as this while traveling across the country via motorcycle. I happened to be moving cross-country this time with a moving truck. My wife made a reservation this location we were very clear but it was for a non-smoking room. I am asthmatic. I was sitting next to my wife while she made the reservation. When I arrived Not only was the clerk reluctant to wait on me, extremely rude, he then lied to my face saying that she had specifically booked a smoking room for me. She had told him what was going on, as far as the move was concerned, and I am sure he thought he had me over a barrel. The lobby was so shabby, it smelled, and the people hanging around outside definitely had the criminal vibe. This was helped out by the fact that police were pulling through the parking lot spotlighting obviously looking for someone. Also having the lobby door locked and a doorbell to be wrung lends me to believe that there's a lot of crime in the area. I would not stay here and I would not recommend anyone who values their property your sanity order time stay here.

Clean & comfortable room. I wish the rooms had easier access to outlets bedside. The Wi-Fi was fast.

Great for the price. Breakfast could use a bit of upgrading.

Seems clean and quiet. I don't smoke but they do offer smoking rooms. Access to the hotel is dicey being on a one way service road, but still seems decent so far.

Decent, as far as motels go. My only complaint would have to be the rough towels.

Gentleman at Check in was great! We had been driving all day and I was cranky, he made us laugh, and it changed my whole mood!

Made a reservation for overnight. Got to the room pulled the covers back to check them. We went and got something to eat and there was a bug not sure what kind. Took pic, the curtains hadn't been washed look like in a year. For the price that was awful. Room says no smoking and you smell smoke. Called the front desk and he said I have some spray if you want to spray. I told him I have asthma can't do that. We to front desk showed him the pic he's says you're not having any luck. No apologies I say we want to check out and he said ok. I said we want our money back he states he can't do that. You need to call your manager cause I'm getting a refund. Needless to say got refund and left.

Great customer service seen mostly in high value hotels. Front desk personnel give pay attention and worked hard to resolve small issues we encountered during our stay. Fantastic stay for a simple budget motel.

Great price and a GOOD bed — best Pro. The Motel 6 next door has terrible beds, a friend says. Small breakfast and only a GF apple, but for the price, don't expect eggs and bacon. Friendly staff. No elevator or covered smoking area. AC was cold at night and the shower was warm in the mornings — bed, AC, shower — since we were there for Scarborough Faire, those are what really mattered to us and this place was good on all counts. I'll stay here again next year.

Great staff, very friendly! Great price. $65 for 2 beds. Seen the other reviews about bed bugs. Asked them personally and they removed all beds an cleaned up the problem. Showed me in person! Rooms are very clean, everything works, and beds are very comfortable.

Stayed a week ago and everything was perfect. Beds and bathroom were clean and I could open the window if wanted. No bothered us and we had pleasant time. Tried to book again this weekend but was full… Overall SATISFIED.

Was 5-28-2016, just terrible, web site state 55.00 a night we were charged 95.00 lobby was very hot also the hall and breakfast had no air condition, not until we said why not turn on air condition that they did for a while, but would turn it off when we were out. Breakfast was a joke coffee and cereal stay a the motel next door, I've stayed there its okay.

Worst and very rude customer service. The rooms smell like cat litter. And bathrooms were very dirty.

Rooms are out of date, tv's sound awful and you never feel safe. The complimentary breakfast wait? Which breakfast? And dont expect much, if you need a hole in the wall to sleep this is good just like the Motel 6 right nxt to it, both the very same. People ehh they are ok but not real knowledgeable about things to do or see. Other then that its ok. :)

Nice beds. Plenty of room. Very affordable and a great value for the price.

We stayed 10-22-15:They have 2 teenage kids checking us in, that didn't know what they were doing! This motel is the NASTY'S PLACE anyone could stay! The room was WAY OVER PRICED! FOR WHAT WE GOT! No towels in the room so the kid up front said they were washing them. REALLY? At 11p. M. At night. The fire alarm went off during the night and we called up front and the same kid said"just smoke in the laudry room"! O the next morning I ask for towels and the girl who had RED DYED HAIR gave me some wet towels and said this is all we have! REALLY? What kind of motel are u running? The breakfast area, so filthy, disgusing, needs to be cleaned. Health dept. Needs to shut this place down! The place looks good on the outside but lookout on the inside! The room was so filty, there was no other vacancies r we would of never stayed! All I want is my money back from this horrible experience! I will NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN, SO BAD I CAN'T RATE IT!

Stayed 10/23/2015. Stay out if this hotel! Horrible. Nasty. Rude. When we arrived we literally have to ring the bell ten times, waited for 30 mins, seems like they totally abandoned the hotel. So my husband went up to the 2nd floor, literally looking for someone and finally found the front desk clerk who appeared to be sleeping in one of the rooms. He's oriental with long hair and seems to need a good shaving. So untidy. And he looked so unhappy, we feel like we inconvenienced him or so. Hotel smells bad, bed is so hard and only 3 pillows for a king bed. We asked for extra pillows twice but the same guy refused to saying they don't have any more pillows. This is a joke of a hotel. Wondering why it has not gone out of business yet. This hotel desperately needs a good management. They should be embarrassed by the kind of service they give.

The person who check us in was not friendly he acted like he really enjoy his job NOT. HE WAS RUDE… The pool was a pool for the dogs to lay out and tan. The breakfast was dog food that I would not even feed my dog. The bed was from 1920s broken down and if you was without transportation it would cost you to go to a place to eat. If I had to rate this place no stars but a fair doggy retreat. Our dog was even scared to stay in the room. In the morning the employees are eating there breakfast I just wish I could post the pics on the reviews. Only thing that could help this place is the health department and the DEA.

If you don't have an alarm clock but need to get up on Sundays at about 6.30 Am, you definitely want to go to this Location. The Lawnmower man will wake you up…

Needed a place for my lady and two kids for the night while in the area. Was very skeptical about this place from the get go but figured I would give it a shot seeing how the Laquinta which I uusually stay at was booked for the night. When I arrived Peter at the front desk was not very welcoming and neithier was the smell of cigarette smoke. I told peter I needed a room with two queen beds and he told me it would be 69 a night which was odd becuase I saw the price online for 55. I was unable to pull it up due to not having cell signal. I asked peter if they had Wi-Fi and he said yes but then just sat back down and ignord me. I left for a few minutes got the price pulled up and showed him. Then he acted shocked about the price. Asked about late check out and he said it would be 15 dollers. Ha! No way. Went up the stairs to our room and saw mouse traps located in the hall and breakfast area. Oh and the pool. Wow its small and water was brown. It wqs closed of course. Dont be fooled by the picture they have postee and the website. The pool is the size of a hot tub. The room was very out dated. Tube TV with a terreble picture. Room didnt feel clean at all. Beds were very worn out with slumps in the middle. Only 2 flat pillows per bed. Bathroom was nasty. Remote had sticky stuff on it. Just down right gross. Felt like I needed to shower the whole time I was in the room but didnt want to in the hotel. Spent most of our time keeping the kids from touching germs.

My husband and I stayed here overnight for a meeting we had in the area. He went in to check in and said the clerk was not too friendly. We got our bags and went in and he was over in the dining area on a personal phone call. Noticed the lobby smelled musty and dank, like an old bowling alley. We headed up stairs and noticed several roach traps by the baseboards along the way. Not a good sign. We had a non-smoking room, but when we opened the door to the room it smelled like a smoker had lived in there forever! It was terrible! Thank goodness the window opened or it would have been unbearable. Spend a little extra if you have it and stay someplace nicer.

Stayed here for 3 weeks, very quiet, clean room everyday, couldnt ask for a more cordial and pleasant staff, "continental breakfast" left something to be desired but would stay here again in a minute. Very economical too.
