Sorry but I did not Ike the room at all. I don't even know if I'm going home with bed bugs. Room was super dirty, carpet full of crumbs from previous people. Also shower was so disgusting, smelly. My Mother in laws room was also so disgusting, smelly, had running water in shower all night could not sleep just thinking it would flood the room. Very bad service! I would definitely not recommend no one to stay here. Maybe hotel is already old but it's no excuse to have people stay here in this conditions! I rate it a 1-

Very poor house keeping staff not doing there job what so ever. General manager was very pleasant and made sure my room was cleaned on the last night we stayed there and did give me a discount which I really did appreciate, front desk very nice. First time staying there and last. Pictures do need to be update of the actual hotel rooms. Other then that ac worked really good, beds were comfortable HOUSE KEEPING NEEDS TO IMPROVE.

This place is so nasty! I pulled the sheets back to look at bed to make sure no beds bugs it because it was so nasty… only to find the nastiest mattress I have ever seen with stains all over it. Needless to say we had two rooms and stayed for less than 10 minutes! I would never go to this hotel again. We had 2 rooms for the following week and those were cancelled immediately! Oh not to mention there were 5 police cars next door and security walking the ground… it seemed unsafe! I gave a 1 if there was a zero I would give that.

La Quinta Inn hotels are a good place to get a restful night's sleep. Then start your day off with a "made from scratch" Texas shaped waffle with strawberry yogurt muffin, and orange juice.

First time at a La Quinta and it was a terrible first experience. The rooms are disgusting. The first room had a strong wet dog smell, terrible. The comforter had stains all over them. There were bugs all over the floor in front of the sink and hair yes I said hair on the walls of the shower. So we go to tell the lady at the front desk who was very nice about our room and got another key to another room. Smell wasn't as bad as the first but still had bugs all over the floor. We got our money back and stayed at Courtyard at Marriott. I dont understand how you miss these things when cleaning. Definitely need train the employees on how to clean. I also took pics.

Excellent price, the San Antonio road system is very convoluted, but it wasn't too difficult to get around from the hotel. There is a very good barbecue place, as well as a denny's right next door. The complimentary breakfast offered in the main office is excellent, my family LOVED the Texas shaped waffles. Staff is great, kept my family of four well supplied with towels and extra pillows.

Unfortunately very disappointing, first made the reservation by phone gave the data of the card to charge, I get confirmation number and an email that my reservation is ready, when you arrive at the place after 6 hours traveling the reservation had not been charged We had to pay it there, I ask? So they asked us for the data but were going to charge… very expensive the reservation for such lousy housekeeping service, everything is very old and out of context.

Outside the beds which are very comfortable and from the excellent attention of Miss Brenda Morales, the place is old and has dirty areas and with mushrooms, they did not clean our room during our stay and Mr Arthur Dottay, manager of the place, far from looking for solution Sarcastically gave us the "option" to change hotel, lousy service attitude on their part… we do not return to this place and obviously do not recommend.

Nice clean hotel in close proximity to food and entertainment. 10/10 would stay here again. Non-Smoking room actually smelled like it. My only complaint is the same with any hotel where the AC is under the window, and that is that the air blows behind the curtain and the room doesn't cool properly.

The room was very small, did not have a refrigerator or other things that usually count other rooms of the same price. The breakfast was pretty decent but everything went wrong when I got a cockroach out of my suitcase.

I booked 2 rooms for two nights… what a mistake. I did not look at the ratings. The rooms were suppose to be non-smoking, but the room was stringed with smoke. The bed sheets did not fit the beds and wrinkles and bunched up. I lifted the sheets and there was no pad or moisture barrier. OMG… there was a 2inch Red Stain on the side of the mattress… Looked like old blood! Nasty, Nasty… Then they did not instantly give us credit back on our Debit Card! We spent several hours with very exhausted (4) — children looking for a Hotel. What a Night.

Home away from home. From the worn out carpets to the bathtub faucets that turn in the opposite direction… and make sure you hold the toilet handle down while it flushes or you'll leave memories for the next in line. If that's not enough, there's a shortage of electrical outlets so you have to take turns charging your cell phones and using the lamps at the same time. Breakfast is another reminder of the home you left behind. Remember how it feels when you wake up and realize you forgot to buy eggs? Well, you'll get that same at home feeling when you don't find any eggs in the buffet. So make do with cold or hot cereal, toast, and a muffin with your coffee or juice. Yessirree, just like home.

Hotel was in a decent location. Had nighttime security patrols. The sheets and linens were clean but the carpet wasn't at all. Despite the 90° temperatures the pool was so cold it caused muscle spasms. The pool was also dirty. I usually opt for Comfort Inns but the thing this hotel had over any other I found was they have rooms with extra rooms and beds. Not a suite, really, but plenty of space for our kids.

Room smelled and very dirty, carpets were bad. Pulled the sheets back and they didn't appear to be fresh, and no protective pad between sheet and mattress that had multiple stains on it. Wall paper was peeling, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling, not sure much of the bathroom was clean due to the dust and mildew along the flooring and shower. Shower curtain had not been cleaned in quite some time due to the layer of mildew and the smell. The second day we got back, room had no been cleaned and clean towels were thrown on the bed. 3rd day we came back and shocked they made the beds. Dirty sheets, but they made the beds, still didn't clean. Obviously this owner/manager does not care about the safety and health of others (apparently the housekeepers don't either) I talked to the head office and advised them of the multiple health hazards. My mom was in a second floor room, must have had a different housekeeper because they actually cleaned, room was still run down but at least hers was clean.

This hotel is your basic, budget friendly places for short weekend trips and doesn't have much amenities except for a pool and complimentary breakfast served daily. The rooms are clean but with old traditional decor which needs upgrade. Also, the light above the sink was not hooked up so I had to shave in the dark.

To begin with, the hotel is very old, which really should not be a factor with a good maintenance, in short the first impression is that they do not have enough staff to serve well, we stayed 3 nights and the first room we got seemed to acabab A close up, penetrating cigar smoke throughout the room, good point for them, they moved us from room to comment that it was not suitable for young children. However the new room allowed us to use the elevator, which seems to be about to fall, dirty inside and with the lights flickering. Arriving in the new room, had no smell of cigar, but the carpet was dirty, and had a smell of moisture, in all corners could find garbage from other guests, is more, even bequeathed to see pieces of fingernails lying on the floor. The bathroom is another story, full of fungus the toilet bowl, and the floor around the same dirty, generally very disgusted with the room. At breakfast time, they are very rude in a matter of just giving 9 am, and people start to take things almost arrebatandosela to the guests, one has to be running around grabbing food after them. We come to enjoy a vacation at SeaWorld and what we wanted least was to battle in our resting league, if they have opportunity to find another hotel, the truth is left a lot to be desired.

The hotel room was overpriced, cheated on there will be a fridge, and microwave as l specifically requested. We I got there, found none. The staff told me not all rooms has those items, and there is a microwave in breakfast area next building. This hotel has 3 buildings, about 200 rooms. That was very rude to go and warm food next building. The room was not cleaned the second day, I called front office about 7:50pm. Two ladies came about 9pm with few towels, told me I have been in the room all day and couldn't clean when am in the room. That was a pure lie. I believe in repeated business, regular customers, customer referring to another great customer, La Quinta inn, (the whole group) didn't impress my family. I now see soo many La Quinta anywhere I turn, but I see only the lies, rude, …

My family of 9 stayed here Thursday through Saturday. 6 of us shared a suite (4 adults and 2 children). The other 3 (2 adults and 1 child) stayed in a room behind ours. To begin, the price was gauged due to Spring Break which is somewhat understandable. Figured, I like La Quinta so so be it. When we entered the room, a wall of smoke hit us. It smelled absolutely terrible! And it was HOT! We moved the AC down to 65 and it finally got cool around 5am. My children were sweating! And the TV's didn't even work! The next day, we were out from 10am to 1am, we arrive back tired after a very long, hot, day. We go in to see that no one had touched our room. There was trash overflowing, wet towels piled in the restroom, no TVs, and dirty beds. My families other room was the same but they also had bugs all over their bathrooms! We called immediately because we couldn't even bath our babies and we were told all that could be done was us going to the office for towels. Completely rude and unacceptable! At breakfast, they ran out of everything and began packing up while we were trying to get food! At 8:59 because they close at 9:00! They took the forks away as my son reached for one for his waffle! The next day, we go to the office to check out and see several maids all over so clearly they weren't under staffed. The girl at the desk couldn't even handle the complaint so she called someone else over. It was a terrible experience. We spent a lot on a suite and King size room.

Save your money and don’t stay here. Cost me $80 for a disgusting room. Took forever to even get checked in. Called the front desk at least 10 times and could never get anyone to answer. The place was sketchy af. Bath tub was disgusting and dirty and clogged up. No shampoo or conditioner or anything other than one bar of soap provided. I took pics of just how gross the bath tub was but apparently you can’t upload them in the review. Bed was uncomfortable. Definitely not a good experience in any way. If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would have.

Great location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Right off of 410. Very courteous staff. Beds were very comfortable and price was great!

Rooms are clean, staff is nice, and breakfast had waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, muffins… It's all good! Good eating places next door… And SeaWorld just down the street. Stayed for three nights last week and two more this week… Had different rooms by choice in case I was going to be done with the job early, each room was clean and ready for use. Enjoyed my visit hear.

Brush up on your self defense classes before coming here. I'm really surprised this place has a Laquinta badge. Small and a very outdated room. Judging from the location I'm hesitant to leave anything of value in my room.

Love this place because it has suites for a large family and you can't beat the price or location. Highly recommended!

NO stars** Don't let the photos fool you. I selected this location for convenience, reserved and paid thru Orbitz. Upon arrival (1030pm) turned I the heater on and almost immediately the roaches started crawling all over. The night shift front desk guy was very polite, but could not promise I wouldn't have the same problem in another room. He agreed to waive my stay if Orbitz could relocate me. Thank God. The desk staff was polite, friendly and apologetic. But I'd never recommend this place to anyone! Overall, very dirty, dated and unsafe. They had guys hanging out upstairs watching us unpack. Kind of shady. I did not feel safe.

We booked this so called “hotel” for our son’s alamo soccer showcase and what was suppose to be a enjoyable event turned out to be a complete fiasco! Upon arrival we were greeted to a horrendously filthy parking lot, our room was no better as it was filled with dirty walls and flying roaches. The beds, which were supposed to be queen size as advertised online turned out to be only a sad excuse for a full size bed which had a foul odor of urine. As we entered the bathroom we were greeted with no towels or soap. We immediately contacted the front desk and informed them of the dissatisfaction of this classic bait and switch technique that la Quinta performs on their customers via online. We politely asked the managers for a full refund, but they refused to exercise good faith and professionalism based on their “hotel” situation. We immediately Left and booked another hotel close by. If anyone is interested in booking this sad excuse for a hotel (motel) we encourage you to really think twice before booking.

We were put in a room & the heater was put on full blast when it wasn't even cold outside, it was taking forever for the a/c to cool down the room. Then we noticed ants all over the table/desk. I called the front desk & they moved us to another room. The second room had a very bad smell, it smelt like sour feet. Our toliet wouldn't flush correctly & the font desk said they had no one to fix it so we had to go down stairs to get a plunger & fix it ourselves. They were also dead ants in one of the beds. The vending machines only take credit cards. The front desk people were nice, they always offered to move us to other rooms.

Not a bad place to stay. Inexpensive and they are doing remodeling. If you want higher quality rooms then choose another but if you are only going to sleep there then this is fine.

These rooms are just basic rooms. I felt the price was too high for what they are. Nothing fancy but nothing trashy. Clean, smells good. Staff was friendly.

Card key didn't work, door always jammed, breakfast was old AND there was construction right in front of my room. Would have been nice if they gave me one of the other empty rooms so I didn't have to wake up to a construction site.

The room was very comfortable, especially the king size bed we slept in. The only negative experience was the air conditioning unit in our room. It didn't seem to cool like it should have, but maintenance took care of that issue. So our first night was uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are provided with a small coffee potthat clearly needed cleaning. Otherwise, we had a comfortable stay at this La Quinta.

Everything is good, from the moment you are ready to check in until you check out. Manager and staff, always greeting you with a smile. Ms. Morales, Genesis and Justin, just the greatest.

The worst experience EVER! If you've ever seen the show "Schitts Creek" on Netflix… that's the closest way to explain how I felt there! Absolutely the horrible. Incident even take off my shoes it was that bad!

How can I write this objectively? Well, I really cannot pull any punches. We booked this "motel" for four nights in order to attend our sons graduation from Air Force BMT. Upon checking in we were greeted with a friendly staff. She smiled and pleasantly expedited my check-in. All good? NOPE. My family was greeted by a strong smell of mildew and stagnant air upon entering rooms 340 & 341 (we booked joining rooms). Thinking it was just the humidity, we cranked down the AC in hopes of improvement. That did not happen as the smell remained, rendering our sinuses and coughs to develop discomfort. The carpets are filthy, the bathroom looks as if they were built in the 70's and never remodeled (with the original shower curtain), tub was BLACK! Black hair everywhere. We don't have black hair. We called maintenance due to the shower backing up and the toilet not flushing. Dead bugs could be found in the corner of the bathroom as well. Absolutely disgusting. So, look for a different place to stay you say. We tried! Everything was booked due to the storms and flooding coupled with 640 families visiting the area for their Airmen's graduation. Your "motel" turned a joyous celebration during the day into a scene of a Stephen King novel at night. I have read your replies to your customers. They say, "I will notify my staff immediately to resolve the issue… " What a crock! You have not resolved anything, and it is apparent in all aspects of your "motel.

The rooms were quite clean and organized. I love how the hotel made accommodation for pets quite simply. Breakfast was a delight and the employees were always more than happy to help.

The staff is friendly but room service could be improved. The rooms were cleaned for the first time and there was a soda/coffee and they did not change the sheets but came back later that night and brought clean sheets. Needless to say the sheets were still there the next day my bed was made up again without changing the sheets. Other than that the location was good and close to the air Force Base.

Stained sheets. Dirty towels dirty carpet. Our feet were BLACK from walking in the room barefoot. AC would only cool the room to 74*. Beds were HORRIBLE! I have to see a chiropractor, seriously. Breakfast is muffins or waffles. Waffle irons we're rusted. Breakfast area seats 10-12 comfortably, not 40 like this morning. Milk was bad and refrigerated condiments were room temperature. Definitely disappointed! At $140 a night, please find another place to stay.

Rooms are big. The bathroom is very small. My biggest problems were: 1. Cleaness of the room needs to be better (dirty carpet, food on the bed linens. 2. Dirty bathroom (wood floor needs cleaning and rusting door hinges) 3. Unpleasant smells with the through the wall AC.

Rooms are nice. Wifi is pretty terrible. Service is great.

Service and staff was excellent. Location from sea world was great. Only thing wrong was the hotel needed to be updated.

Very convenient location, close to many restaurants. Room was fine for the stay. Do wish refigerators and microwaves were standard in all. Frustrating to stay at 6 and 7th doesn't provide. Wish more haD laundry facilities also. Other than that love LaQuinta beds.

Have always had good experiences with La Quinta hotels. This location was very convenient and had plenty of parking. AC worked great, a must for hot San Antonio. Close to pretty much every restaurant you could ask for. Breakfast is very good here.

Pretty good… Only thing I didn't like was the standard rooms didnt come with microwaves or refrigerators… The staff was nice enough to bring them to me though… Also smoking rooms are only on the 3rd floor but it was an outside hotel so didnt get that one… Other than that very nice staff clean room.

The rooms were filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting. There was dirt and dust build up in the corners. The person in room below me smoked and the smell entered my room from the bathroom. The breakfast was subpar and the only thing worth eating was the waffles. Did I mention the rooms were filthy!

Zero stars! This was not a very nice hotel. The prices are outrageous! First night there were roaches in the bed and the smoke detector was chirping. Front desk said maintenance sprayed the room then a couple hours later maintenance showed up saying we called for them and he couldn't remember if he sprayed our room or not. They replaced the battery in the smoke detector but it started chirping at midnight that same night. People were screaming and fighting almost every night in the middle of the night. I can't believe we payed 140 a night for this noisy, dirty room. You can almost definitely find a better place for the same or better price.

ZERO STARS! We stayed for 2 nights, just needed a place to lay our heads, never needed anything fancy. We went to our room and it looked like someone was still staying there. We asked for new sheets and a new trash can. They didn't have new sheets to give nor did they empty our trash. Then, today, we looked at our bank account and we were charged $550. I called and they said that there had been damages to the mattress by a dog. We did not have dogs nor did we damage their disgusting mattress. They have been completely non compliant and altogether, a nasty, smelly stay. Do not stay here!

Decently located hotel. Night shift team was very friendly, but dayshift during booking was very abrasive. Room had only one working light, and loud AC unit.

Zero stars for this hotel. First I just wanted to say I work for a La Quinta, Im happy that my hotel has much higher standards and respects the meaning of their core values. This place is a dump not only did they LIE to me when I tried to make a reservation with my voucher saying they were "Sold out". They must not realize that you get reimbursed your ADR when the hotel is close to being full. So you're under poor unknowledgeable management as well. So I tried booking with my points instead, NOPE my reservation mysteriously got cancelled. Wow. Your FDSR that attempted to check me in Saturday around 3 was very rude, and unhelpful. I've never treated anyone who walks through the doors of my workplace as badly as I was treated at your La Quinta. Shame.

The rooms are magnificent in size, the location as far as restaurants or shopping is also great. Hospitality in the front desk was good. The breakfast looked like it could use some sprucing up, other than that A +

The pics must of been when it was new… not worth the discounted price of 45 bucks… I think it's only worth 25 at the most and that's if you absolutely need a room. I would not stay here ever. All I hear is complaints from every one… I don't recomend this place and I'm not picky.

If there was a ZERO star as an option that is what I would have selected! We found this hotel through Expedia, made reservations and PAID for 1 room, 2 double beds, non smoking in advance. Once we arrived after driving all day with 3 young children, LYDIA the front desk clerk informed us "Our room was no longer available. " How was our room not available?!?!? That is what RESERVATIONS are for! Even if we didn't show up the hotel still gets their money! When I requested an explanation WHY she basically said that other customers arrived and GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY and she acted like we had no right to be upset! She had "FRIENDS" sitting in the lobby and we were bothering them, there was nothing she could do and we needed to leave! While we were now sitting under the canopy contacting Expedia (since we've already paid), another family arrived and went through the EXACT SAME SITUATION, that LYDIA had given their room away ALSO! The only thing good that occurred was due to LYDIA lack of ability to do her job, EXPEDIA located another hotel meeting our requests ON THE RIVERWALK and PAID the difference! THANKS EXPEDIA!

Ugh. What a ripoff for $120/night. No fridge, no microwave… And there was a dead roach on the bathroom floor for almost my entire stay. Housekeeping never even vacuumed it up. Ew. Also a serious lack of electrical outlets, and you can't reach the lamp from the bed. I hate getting up out of bed to turn the light off.

I'm staying here now actually in the room and it's competely disgusting. Wore flipflops to take a shower because tub is black. Other room had stained sheets and smelled of stagnat air even after leaving door open and ac running. I actually can't believe we have to stay another night just feel disgusted and dirty.

The absolute worst hotel room that I have ever seen! The walls had mold on them, the bathroom had mold. The closest had some kids swimsuit and underwear still in it. The door had dirt stains from dirty hands touching it or something. I am a Soldier and have deployed and lived in some tough places. But could not stay there one night. Got charged $138 for a room that I couldn't stay in, and had to pay for a room at another hotel. My past experiences with la Quinta Inn were pleasant, this one has broken my trust for this chain.

We stayed at this location in July 2015 and it was awful. We did not get to check in until 9:30 despite having reservations, our room still was not completely clean when we did get into it. We had maggots on our towels and their was a very noticeable stain on one of the sheets. I called the front desk to complain and they sent a handy man to retrieve the maggots and dirty sheets and he left us with another bag of sheets to put on ourselves, that was the first night and against my better judgment we stayed because it was so late and our kids were tired. Day 2 literally went up in smoke our lamp plugged into the wall started to smoke (literally) I immediately called the front desk to only be told "what do you want me to do about it", this infuriated me and I told him the room was not safe to stay in his response was I don't have any other rooms. He did send up the security guard with air freshener : (at this point I tried finding another room but could not find another suite that would accommodate my family. We ended up leaving and cutting our vacation short. Among other items wrong with our room was the fan that worked when it wanted too and wobbled like it wanted to fall. My other complaint was the floors my children walked around bare foot before bed and ended up with their feet dirty and black! The floors were that dirty and disgusting. This experience not only ruined my children's first vacation but was so bad that I will never stay at a laQuinta again.

I had a really bad experience at this La quinta. First room we got it was dirty the beds were not made there was trash. The room was not what we expected and it was not the room I had booked, we try to get an answer and the girl was rude and the only thing she say was that she didnt have the room we wanted and all she could do was cancel. I have stay at other quintas before and so far this has been a really bad experience.

Do not stay here mold in room. Filthy parking lot, bathroom filthy dirty toilet with brown stripes, tub black bottom. Sink cracked. If we didn't travel with 4 pets for 10hrs and once getting them in fed and calm we would of left. But having to get on the road again in 10 hrs we just bite the bullet. We also say a guest sharping a knife outside our room we just locked the door prayed and went to sleep.

All around a horrible hotel. Never in my life have I had such horrible accommodations. Motel 6 would have been better. Cleaning ladies did not do a good job, showers are disgusting, and breakfast was nasty. We went to sea world and was gone all day and our room was still not clean. We had to wait in our vehicle with the a/c running until it was finished!

Dirty, Dirty, smelly. I made reservations a week in advanced. I chose that place because of its proximity to Sea World and affordability. I got there about 7PM and the rooms were not ready. We waited about 30 minutes. I had three rooms, and upon walking we noticed stained blankets. The restrooms smelled like pee and were moldy. I made reservations through a website which had told me that if I cancelled I would still be charged the full amount. I was stuck. We didnt have towels, I had to go find a cleaning lady to get towels from. Throughout the hallways there were endless bags of dirty sheets and towels that remained there until I went to sleep. Making your way to the rooms you had to jump over the the bags. The restrooms were dirty, an obvious 1 minute clean job. Hair everywhere and the carpets are gross. Front desk was not rude but seemed like they new the issues and Management just doesnt get it together. It was a disgusting experience that we went through. I will not use La Quinta ever again.

This place sucks! Now if u want to stay at a cheap nasty hotel with crappie service than this one's for you. They have 80 plus rooms and 3 house keepers so if u stay more than one day your room will not be cleaned and you will have to go to the front and get it own towels. They also have a few rooms shut down due to bed-bugs and on the third floor they have a Bee infestation. So if u r brave good luck to u.

The price for this bn, and in the front desk is excellent. The hotel room was dirty and just like the bathroom. Need to give an update to the rooms of the hotel.

We booked and had to move to another location within 20 minutes of walking into this DIRTY disgusting hotel. The shower curtain was all moldy and the toilet was dirty. Then the room had old food and wasn't even vacuumed. And the phone to call the front desk wasn't even working. Literally 3 people came up to the front desk to complain about the same thing. After we finally found a new la Quinta to stay at we had a similar issue with mold instead they were on the blankets and pillows! Which was the la Quinta at the Alamodome. They simply gave us a new room and it was much better. This location I will not return to it is disgusting and we will not be returning to this location, EVER!

Pesimo hotel… muuyy dirty… the cleaning woman does not change the towels… not take out the Trash. Only wine made the beds and bye it went… do not return to this hotel… We do not recommend it. '

Not the best room due to me finding trash still needing to be cleaned in our room we perished, but nothing other then that we had a great experience and yes we will be coming back again :).

This La Quinta can only offer a room for the night, period. The hotel's breakfast area was too large to accommodate the number of guests staying here, it was madhouse. Also the room was dirty in the less frequently checked places, behind the door, under the bed, etc. However, check-in was fast and the hotel was conveniently located to access major attractions.

I made the reservation thru the front desk instead of 800 number asking for the same room we had 2 months ago. The staff is very friendly and will promise you anything when making a reservation and while you're checking in. Then it all changes after they get your money. Twice I was promised without fail I would get a microwave and fridge. Twice I was told after checking in they check on it. Then several hours later told we never have those, if you want one buy a suite. I even emailed the president and got a reply from the vice president stating get a suite or go some place else. THAT is exactly what we plan to do. The rooms are no better than a motel 6 just more expensive but they do offer breakfast if you get up early or cram yourself into the crowd. Point is there are nicer hotels in the area for about the same price.

I made a reservation over a month in advance for the larger family suite. The family and I went to Sea World before coming to check into the hotel. We were all exhausted from the trip and the day at Sea World, and I was expecting an easy transition into our hotel so we could relax. It turns out the hotel overbooked our room. This practice is horrible for the customer, and ensures the business will not lose out on money if one of the cheated customers decides to leave. I decided to work with the hotel and got two side by side rooms with two full beds in each. This was a huge downgrade and difficult for us, especially with the front desk putting us all the way on the third floor, a difficult task when you have 3 young children. When we got to our room, it was like staying in a one star hotel. The room was dirty and stained, the bathroom door couldn't even shut, and the AC barely worked. I will never stay at La Quinta again.

Staying here tonight and tomorrow night. We came here because someone else we know booked a room here and we wanted to stay at the same place for convenience. Both our room and theirs are dirty. The sheets have stains, the bathroom smells like urine and I'm relatively sure my car will be broken into. This place is not a quality stay and completely not worth the price. I'm going to complain in the morning. Update: The staff were kind enough to provide a different room, after giving me a snarky attitude until I furnished them with pictures of the filthy room. The new room does appear a bit cleaner, however, When the time came to wash my hands I discovered the hot water does not work. I decided to check under the sink to see if maybe the hot water valve was just not on. Which it wasn't. I thought "good, I'll just turn it on and enjoy my night. " Wrong. I turned the valve and water began spraying out crazily. This means they knew the hot water didn't work but simply didn't care or were too incompetent to fix it. This place can't get anything right.

We paid for four nights and expected a decently clean room. Since ariving we have found our room to be nothing less than discusting there are random stains that cant be cleaned. We have family staying in a different room that had hairs and urine stains around their bathroom this place is completely atrocious.

This was a bog-standard La Quinta. We visited in the off-season and stayed at this La Quinta because it was near to my cousin. The neighborhood is an improving neighborhood, but as far as amenities nearby, well, you're looking at Sea World and a few chain restaurants. What surprised me most was that there are so few decent places with food and TV's in San Antonio. There's nothing that isn't a chain on this side of the city. Back to the Hotel, we had a decent stay, but we weren't there long. Checked in, dropped the dog off at the cousin's house, went to watch a football game, picked up the dog, came back and passed out. It served its purpose as a place to sleep and was otherwise unremarkable.
