The lady at the front desk was extremely rude, she refused to give us her name to file a complaint. After her handing us a plunger and telling us to plunge our bathroom ourselves. We are STILL waiting on some one to service the toilet. As we were leaving several other guests complained about her being rude. She refused to attempt to accommodate us.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE DOG! I am disabled and have a service dog. My husband and I rented a room, and when we were coming back in with my dogs, we were informed by Salvador Luna that they are not pet friendly. I thought they were, which is why I booked there (I have one service dog and one pet). I was perfectly happy with leaving the pet with a friend, but I need my service dog. I explained that she is a service dog, and I was told that I needed to have their “license. ” There was an ADA compliant sign on their wall stating that they permit service animals. Per the ADA and FHA, service dogs are not required to be registered, certified, or licensed. Any such registry is illegal and fraudulent. I tried telling him this, and he said that he will not accept her without her “license. ” I offered my doctors note and nothing. Salvador canceled our reservation AND DID NOT REFUND US OUR MONEY FOR THE STAY! He was extremely rude too and even flipped off my husband. He would not give me his last name or his role within the company, and it took having a cop come out to get his information. This man should not be allowed to continue to work at any Choice hotel and employees need to be educated on the laws. I understand that there is an epidemic with people faking service animals, and I understand business’ frustration. But when a disabled person is explaining the law and willing to provide proof, LISTEN.

They're currently denying my friend access with her service dog which is ILLEGAL and violates the Americans With Disabilities Act. Date: October 5th, 2021.

Hotel is dated and needs remodel.
Checked into hotel first thing I seen is face mask required requardless of vaccine or not. First room door did not lock you could push it open without room key. Kids arcade still closed due to managment. Putt putt golf coure needs major cleaning to use it. No breakfast buffet onl a cold breakfast bag. This place should be removed from the choice rewards program and dropped to a one star.

We loved our stay, the playground was great and so was the hot tub.

Oh. My. Goodness. ANY time we come back here, we’ll stay in this hotel! HUGE fan! Yesterday we accidentally reserved an AWFUL motel down town. It was disgusting. We immediately got our money back & came to check in here a couple hours later. Extremely reasonably priced, CLEAN, very nice, large pool & hot tub, PARK, mini golf, grills, & corn hole— as well as an amazing FREE continental breakfast! Kayla, who works day time front desk, was SO kind to us & to our little ones. She brought up a ton of shampoo & conditioner for us & sheets for the pull out couch, & when I asked YET ANOTHER question, I apologized for asking so many. She said, “that’s what I’m here for! ” SO kind! Quality Inn has a loyal customer in us!

Good atmosphere, good breakfast, friendly staff, park, putt putt, pool and hot tub. They were all nice and clean.

Very family friendly. My granddaughter and I had a blast. She loved the playground and fish tanks and I enjoyed watching her light up. Definitely would stay again.

Location is not great for walking nothing is close to hotel. The room is spacious has everything you need. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is great they have hot biscuits, sausage links, and eggs. Cold cereal and muffins. Only thing is some days biscuits are hard and others it's cooked perfect same for sausage it's burnt one day but cooked perfect the next. Overall great place to stay.

The staff are really nice and the rooms are clean. The Wi-Fi is abysmal. I ran a speed test 0.56 Mbps download speed and even less upload. That's probably good enough for Grandma Gladys to check her email, but not much else. If you're taking the kids to SeaWorld this is fine. If you're here on business, I would choose something else.

Nice hotel for the price, hot and grab & go breakfast available. Small pool, mini golf and play room. The only think I didn't like was housekeeping leaving their carts all over the place.

We visited this past weekend and we could not be happier. This place was great. Free breakfast. Nice size pool and mini golf and arcade for the kids. The breakfast was your average hot breakfast but saves you a lot of time and money from leaving the premises. We left El Paso at night and got to San Antonio after 10 am. The drive was hard with little sleep and I didn't expect to get checked in, but I think the hotel's employee Kayla saw how tired I was and got us checked in early. We liked the hotel so much we stayed an extra night. The room was clean, but didn't like that the bathroom door was so big and awkward to get around for the shower. Regardless, we loved our stay. Keep up the good work.

The staff is at the top of the list with this hotel. They are extremely friendly and courteous. The rooms are a bit dated though. A bit of an upgrade would do wonders. Everything is clean and well kept. It all just looks a little bit old. The staff has made up for it though. Minus another star because you offer laundry that you have to pay for with quarters but no way to get quarters other than "you can try the Walgreens down the street". Way to work with your guests.

Only been in the room an hour and I really wish I could change hotels but unfortunately this is in a good location. The room is too small and the bathroom is a bathroom for ants and not humans. With 3 kids and 2 adults, this is barely acceptable. Next year I wont book here at all.

Location is great. It's close to everything. The room is nice; however. The beds are not queen size. They are pretty comfortable, though. I am really satisfied with the stay. The staff is friendly and there is a family friendly park where kids can play and you can grill. They even have a putt putt! Great family friendly place.

First night was a mess charged me twice on two different credit cards. Second night was bad couldn't sleep was to loud and the beds were hard. The only good thing was the free breakfast. Wouldn't stay here again.

Very nice inside and out. Room was very nice and had a nice cozy feeling. The bed was very noisy though so that was the only bad thing. Other than that very good place.

This place is out to rip you off and nickle and dime you to make a buck. After spending one night and going to book for two additional nights, there was this mandatory fee for $4.99. I called the front desk and spoke to this highly defensive rude general manager, Erica, who said this is a mandatory fee that went into effect that day. I asked for what? I was not charged this last night. She said to use the miniature golf course. I did not see a miniature golf course There is a playground that had no flags or other figures you see at a miniature golf course. I asked nicely, politely, calmly, and professionally if she would wave this fee since; I did not pay the night before? Erica cuts me off and chastise me and becomes more rude and refuses. I said, I am going to book for two more nights, is this $4.99 fee worth losing out on a $130 plus dollars? She again preaches this mandatory fee "Sticking to her guns" disrespectful and unwavering. I filed a complaint with Choice Hotels who were worthless who had Erica call me to chastise me once again over the phone about this mandatory fee. Goes to show being calm and professional gets you nowhere. This hotel is between SeaWorld and Six Flags and charge hand over fist at least 10 months a year gauging guest with high room fees since they can get it.

Not a bad location staff is friendly and games for adults and kids.

Place was a little moldy smelling and putt putt should be included with stay, not cost extra. Staff was nice.

Very nice and efficient, good breakfast, the night lady *tracy*, (i believe was her name) *super nice, cheery, helpful, and a great atittude (she is a 5 star employee), the cook very nice lady, … overall a pleasant stay…

The hotel is a long way from which to make your stay enjoyable.
Lack of staff and reception that is bilingual.
Very dirty carpet.
Rusty Bath tub.
You need to put an armchair on it.
The entrance that is at the end of the hall was dirty (they spilled soda, and this very sticky) The voice have dust do not shake.

Good price for the quality of the hotel.

At last I found a good Hotel with affordable price, good treatment and attention, clean and good facilities I repeat good treatment of its staff that that was hard to find in other hotels in San Antonio.

Clean room and great shower. I missed the driveway entrance 3 out of 3, so, go slow off highway ramp: the entrance is first possible turn crossing white lines : /

This nice and too quiet to be able to rest if I recommend.

We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast was so good and tasty. Staff went above and beyond to assist us in whatever we needed.

Amenities over location. I spent a whole day at this hotel and our family enjoyed the putt putt, arcade, and pool. Renovations promise more but our stay was delightful.

Loved it! Playground! B. B. Q! We were in San Antonio because I was attending an Awana Conference and I looked for a reasonable hotel close by, I was also taking my kids, so when I saw this hotel had a playground I was Sold! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and our overall experience was Great! While I attended the conference my mom stayed back at the hotel with the kids and they spent most of their time in the playground. I will definitely go back when I'm back in the area, I have been recommending it to everyone!

Hotel and staff were great. Phone reservation at 800-4 choice is TERRIBLE! Female voice cannot understand clearly spoken city and state. She asks too many needless questions that are repeated when FINALLY getting to speak to a real live person. Female voice prompt is a waste of time and creates much aggravation trying to answer her questions.

Not compassion whatsoever for hurricane evacuees. Wouldn't allow cancellation despite notice given in ample time. Definitely not pet friendly so be mindful b4 booking. Pricing on vending machines are ridiculous as well. On the positive side, there was an extremely, super sweet housekeeping staff!

This hotel was in a amazing location for what we needed. We were going to Sea world it was perfect for that. The rooms were adequate nothing too special about them. The service was pretty good.

I wish to preface this with an acknowledgment that we are perhaps accustomed to something finer, and we had to book several rooms at the last minute, resulting in a much narrowed selection in SanAntonio; but I must make an attempt to "sandwich" this (good things with the bad). Something good: The staff is wonderful. I made a point of complimenting the maid right off. But the sink is outside the rest of the bath, and there is no mirror at the sink. Shaving was all but impossible. The faucet at the sink leaked profusely — like all over everything, if you didn't treat it with the utmost care. When we awoke the first morning, we were met with was sunlight streaming into our room through curtains that looked like a cat had climed up them. I think there were some engineering difficulties in planning the rooms: We had to close the closet doors before anyone could enter the room, and the closet was too small for the provided luggage rack to fold out. Now, to end with something good: We heard almost no noise outside our rooms, allowing for good sleep, on adaquate beds.

Love the stay, staff made me comfortable took cared of all my questions, mini putt putt and free BF!

The beds and the room are good but the shower I used there over flooded and was nasty.

In need of big renovations.

I don't know if we got a bad room or what but the first time I tried to pay in my bed the head board fell off its mount luckily no one got hurt but the person we called just put the board back without any extra support. There also isn't enough room to walk past the bed with the desk chair out.

Location is fine, it was close to where we needed to go, the room needs a lot of fixes. Mold in bathroom, cracks on walls, some weird bug on the curtains…

Under new management and I don't think things are for the better. The first room I was given, the mattress was caved in. They moved me to a new room. Lights didn't work, the sheets bad stains etc. I used to get a discount for being a repeat customer and it wasn't honored.

Everything so good sense we cross doors room nice clean breakfast real good variety eggs sausages biscuits hot sauce cheese … Course ☕coffee… Waffles, fresh fruit, muffins… cereal n lot more I real recommend this hotel we stay for 10 nights n we real satisfied with service's.

Run just run. Horrible female Indian manager. Fruit flies on walls and all the Indian kid wanted to do was spray them with air freshner… I had to ask him to not spray chemicals near my toddlers pillows. Etc Had to change from dirty room to another dirty room. Complained to Corporate about the Manager's behavior and how much of a disgrace this hotel is to the Chain name.

Very disappointing! we walked in and the smell was horrible, got to our "non-smoking " room that smelt like a bar. After calling the front desk to change rooms they just sprayed some air freshener as if that was going to fix the problem. The small black hair on the used soap left in the shower was the icing on the cake and we called the travel company who arranged for us to move hotels so we could enjoy our vacation.

Our San Antonio go to hotel. Great food, bed, accommodations. And easy to get to from Austin.

Pretty good place to stay everyone I definitely recommend it.

As soon as we walked in, the hotel had a weird smell. Staff was all VERY, VERY nice! Had a room on the 3rd floor, and it smelled like cat litter. Bathroom had hair along shower walls and I did not feel comfortable walking around room without shoes on. Felt like we were being bitten by something while laying in the bed, but no bed bugs. Not sure what it was. Ended up cancelling our trip and leaving 5 hours after checking in. Might have different rooms that are better — we stayed in a Standard King room, and the fact that staff was so nice, I give it 3 stars. But will NOT be returning.

I was only staying for a night, and needed a late check out the next morning. I got assistance from John Castillo, and he not only made sure that the housekeeping staff kept my room closed for me, he allowed them to keep my stuff in the room, until my late check out at 2pm! The bed was comfortable, and the amenities are good too (I didn't have to buy snacks, but they have an ice cream cooler in the lobby! ). It was an ideal location to the Helotes event I attended, and accessible by 1604. I would really recommend booking this hotel for your next holiday, event, or business visit.

9-13-2013 Had a one-night stay at this hotel. Was greeted by 2 friendly gentleman upon arrival who were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was CLEAN, which is my number one requirement. At check-in I made a last-minute request for a first floor room and was happily accommodated. My only suggestion to them would be to put a sign farther back alerting drivers that the ONLY entrance to the hotel is coming up in 500 feet because once you see the sign, it's at the driveway and if you miss it, you have to go a good way down the highway to u-turn twice to get back. Excellent service and nice clean room.

This is a strange place. If you miss the little sign on 1604, you will miss your turn and have to go all the way back around. We paid $159 for a "suite, " which was ridiculous. Layout is very strange. The mirror and sink aren't in the same room with the toilet and shower! The main closet isn't in the bedroom. No towel bars in the shower room. Many, many coats of paint on the walls to cover the damage, such as outlets and jacks falling out of the sheetrock. We got wrong number phone calls all night long. Phone had 11 vmails on it and 2 were from the hotel manager to previous guests who complained about their room. Place is filled with kids on the weekend and it gets LOUD. Breakfast was decent, but the crowd was big and there wasn't any place to sit They also ran out of several items before breakfast was over. If you have children and want to stay close to Sea World, go to La Quinta next door.
