The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very nice.

Nice and comfortable rooms… great breakfast… great service… but I'm only complain is that I found a cockroach in my jacuzzi… overall I would stay there again.

The rooms were nice, clean & neat. The staff was friendly. Parking is a little tight for trucks. But all was great.

They don't clean good and don't make good service.

I was surprised to be writing this, considering how high the rating are for this hotel. To start off, our hotel room had hair in the pillows and sheets. When we asked for them to be changed, there was a blonde staff lady who gave an attitude about it, and in spanish, said 'I dunno what they expect, all hotels have hair' to her co-worker. I'm guessing she assumed I didn't know how to speak spanish. Anyway, this became a confrontation and she ended up leaving the other staff to… re-make our bed without hairs. Anytime the blonde lady would see us after that, she would give us a dirty look. Our room was a disability room, however, the shower was extremely moldy. There were black stains randomly on the walls, and on the shower head. I took a shower first, and the floor was so slippery, I slipped and fell. Had it been my mother who slipped, it would have been a massive lawsuit, because she is the one with a disability. That aside, there was also a big spider web in the corner of the room that was never cleaned up. I also asked for an extra blanket, but of course, it had a strangers hair on it. At that point, I gave up, and that was only day one. On one of our last days, I was waiting in the lobby for my uber ride to the base. Sure enough, the blonde staff lady and a lady of the kitchen started arguing with a customer who just wanted to get food.

This hotel is very nice. I was impressed with the quality of the room. Very clean and quiet. Great continental breakfast and close to the fwy. The employees are super friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store and a jack in the box right next door to tackle those late night cravings.

Excellent hotel. The staff is friendly, the room is spacious and clean. The indoor pool and hot tub are a great amenity. Breakfast is included and there were several hot items like eggs, sausage, biscuits in addition to the cold items. I'd highly recommend this hotel. Also, it's only 10-15 minutes to the Lackland Air Force Base if you're in town for BMT graduation like we are!

The bed is nice and room is clean, but my wife specifically called and asked for a room with a bath tub in it after we booked the room. The gentlemen she talked too stated that when we arrive to just ask for a room with a tub in it and he would make a note on our reservation and it wouldn’t be a problem. Get to our room… shower only. She’s not happy. Went to the front desk and he stated they’re sold out and nothing he can do.

Excellent! Super clean rooms. Huge TV. We stayed for a week and it was just like being at home. The pool is indoors and is very nice. The hot tub was awesome as well. There was a laundry room on the second floor and we were able to do one weeks worth of laundry in just a couple of loads. We were able to come home just the way we left with clean clothes and we felt very refreshed. Easy access to Lackland Air Force Base only about 15 minutes!

Clean, comfortable, great beds. Good Brkft. Right off interstate so easy to get around town. Security in the parking lot all night and they actually watch your cars!

I had stayed at the Palo Alto Best Western, and I can honestly say that it was my best experience of a hotel stay I've ever had. The Staff (especially Victor, Unique, and Bonnie) made every attempt to help me out with anything I needed. They made my stay that much more enjoyable. I will definitely be going back to this hotel when I go back to San Antonio. Also traffic was non-existent at this end of the loop, so travel was a breeze.

Really bad service if you book online it's not always what they say false booking. Had booked queen suite with sofabed online and has already happened twice that they give me queen kitchenette… and I called twice before arriving and non professional employees were non helpful! then they (Unique) the receptionist can not do anything about it that they are booked. Really I have been going there for the past 5 years but will definitely be the last time I go. I had to go to Holiday Inn Express… a lot better.

Manager Rick and also Monic were very helpfull on checking us out early. Rooms were very clean. Hotel was close to highway loop. I was there with my wife on business trip.

Sadly to say I had the worse time ever in my life at this hotel. First day I arrived tired and from flying and traveling all day I go to check in and had a hard time checking in. Ask to speak to someone else and her response was there is no one else. Second thing my room was not cleaned and the beds were not done for the first two days and when I said something about it there response was sorry the housekeeping has left for the day so I asked for the sheets so I can change my own bed. Third thing I came back to the room from being out all day I go to ask for clean towels but waited patiently because the lady in front of me was asking for a clean towel and he so called VICTOR hands her the towel with no problem so now it’s my turn I asked him for clean towels too and he tells me YOU NEED TO BRING THE DIRTY ONES BACK FIRST now why didn’t he asked the lady in front of me for her dirty towel and what hotel does that! I’m afraid to find out what’s going to happen in the fourth day! Stay tuned because I’m pretty sure something else will be a problem. NOT A PLACE I WOULD ADVICE ANY ONE TO STAY AT don’t want anyone else to be treated the way we were treated. Sincerely a very dissatisfied customer and the one star was checked off cause it was the only way this would post but my rating is 0

Super clean, it's south San Antonio so it's a bit more tucked away, while still close to a bunch of things. Best part is definitely the staff, they are hands down the best! I appreciate all they do.

The hotel is conveniently located, and is easy to get to from Loop 410. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. (I was surprised that there were no "built-in" usb ports in the room. ) The complimentary breakfast was standard hotel fare.

Overall the hotel was comfortable, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, some random stains on the hallway carpets, but they had been cleaned. My one complain is, there is only one elevator, and it is slow. We'd sometimes be waiting 2-3 minutes for it to arrive at either the ground level or our floor, and it times of heavy traffic, you'd be stuck waiting as it was a small one.

My wife and family stay here a week ago don't let the beautiful Lobby and kitchen for you let me know you got in your room it was dirty when I went to take a lool at my cousins room was very DIRTY TOO. We took a look at some of the reviews and we do agree with what other guests are saying next time you visit San Antonio we will stay Downtown. Portable staff as well… God Bless.

Dont let the gas station, fast food restaurants, and traffic stop you from checking this place out! We were there one night and Victor was very nice at the front desk. Our room was also clean! Like Nice Clean. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would def recommend.

This hotel was very dirty. First of all, we had a room with a sofa bed. When I opened it up the mattress was torn open on the sides and it had lots of bugs on top. In the normal beds, the blankets had pubic hair on them. Then we went to the pool and it was equally as nasty as the room. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not even give it one star but it doesn’t give you a choice.

Front desk attendant problematic on arrival after having reservations for 3 weeks. Maintenance on room lacking. Pool is filthy and the hot tub has scum floating on top of the water. Breakfast on the other hand, was great and the meal help were wonderful ladies.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and there was a great variety of food. The staff was also very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. Will definitely come back here the next time we're in San Antonio.

I enjoy my stay at the Palo Alto location. The room was very clean, quiet. I would definitely recommend this location if you're in the area.

I stayed there recently on a Wed through Sunday. I had zero issues or complainants. The location is right off a freeway and 15 minutes from the high priced hotels downtown. It next to a series of apartments, gas station and fast food restaurant with other shopping close by. There was a security guard on duty from 10pm to 6am. (Apparently before they hired security a few cars were broken into). The room was spacious, clean & up to date with a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was fine and the hotel was quiet at night. There was a small outdoor pool that I didn’t use but it looked nice. Small exercise room that was what you see in other small hotels. Exercise bike, stepper and treadmill along with a weight machine. The breakfast was also typical of other hotels with a waffle maker, cereals, toast & a small selection of hot foods. The staff was welcoming and kept the place clean. I saw many families staying there along with a swim team competing at the nearby Palo Alto college. I’d recommend and take my family back.

This Best Western was convenient to 410 and other state roads. The breakfasts were nice and the indoor pool & hot tub worked the entire time we were there (especially since it was cold while we were there).

Excellent Place to spend a night, the hotel has Gym, pool, breakfast room and comfortable and comfortable rooms, I think the kitchen service is not the best but it is acceptable, for everything else, I recommend it widely.

Very nice mid priced hotel only about 15 minutes from Lackland Air Force Base. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast in the morning was actually really good. This is definitely the place to stay if you were going to Lackland for a graduation.

Great stay! Breakfast was outstanding. If you need to be in the Palo Alto College area, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Would stay again if I was in the area.

I find it very buenoel hotel as the rooms and all their amenities that the room has, the service and more.

Stay on 9/26 to 9/29/17: Found what looked like sugar or salt and plastic bags in the top drawer of the chest of drawers. Left it open for cleaning, and it was taken care of the next day. Breakfast food quality has improved since my last visit. Get some fresh, real bacon cooking and you will be killing it! Carpets in hallways still need frequent cleaning or replacement. ______________________________________________________________ Overall a good, comfortable hotel for the price. Nice room decor and amenities, beautiful HDTV and satellite service, and very comfortable bed. With some minor effort, the following issues could be fixed: — The treadmill in the fitness center does not incline/decline and needs to be repaired. Other machines are outdated and uncomfortable; upgrades are probably available for very reasonable price. — Clean hall and stairwell carpets at some frequency — they are very dirty and stained. — Offer fresh hot bacon, eggs, and potatoes. Current stuff is obviously frozen and reheated. Bacon is especially disgusting.

I lucked out finding this place. I was driving west and had stayed at lesser quality places, in terms of comfort, cleanliness, quietness, at higher places, and this hotel was the best. Relatively quiet, which was surprising because the hotel caters to families with small kids.

So far so good. Upgraded room, was ready early. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Very happy. Then again, Best Western experiences have always been pleasant.

Hotel staff was friendly. Free breakfast was a plus! Hotel amenities included free breakfast, free parking, free Internet, pool and hot tub area (nice), gym, washer/dryer area ($1.50), and businesses office area with 2 computers and printers. My sons and I enjoyed our stay. I'll give this hotel 3 1/2 stars.

Great cheap rate at an upgraded Best Western. Stay at a variety of hotels but this is perfect if you're in need of a room on a budget. Breakfast was bountiful and the waffles and coffee were on point. Thought it was a bit strange the hallway on the fourth floor was so humid almost 15 degrees warmer than the rooms which were ice cold. Big flat screen TVs and spacious rooms. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Would absolutely stay here again!

Found left food n the frog and used soap left n the tub. Today we get ready to leave and I c 2 baby roaches n the rest room and my grandkids room is full of flying ants. My daughter and I told the staff at the front desk and no concern. My u it pissed her off and I can't blame when she had three rooms ($$$). On top of that housekeeping comes to ur room n threes. I work as a csr and the customer is suppose to be right not here.

Super clean, great breakfast and fair prices and deals. We stayed for 5 days and the rooms were clean and stocked on a daily basis. No complaints at all! Paid exactly what was quoted to me from the beginning with no hidden fees or increases.

Very rude and not very helpful people running this motel. I will not be using this Best Western in the future. I will say most of my stays at other Best Western motels have been great but not this one.

The day after we checked out, someone at this best western manually entered my credit card number and charged us an additional $100+ no one has told us why and the manager has yet to call us. I will pursue fraud charges with my card company.

Absolutely amazing the staff was wonderful Billy was so helpful and amazing his customer service skills I give a 10+. Also the am housekeeper I believe her name is Beatrice is so helpful and very friendly and the lady that prepares breakfast was very very nice. My room was the best room I have ever stayed in I recommend this hotel to everyone especially if you are coming for family BMT graduation it's just a couple of minutes away from the base it clean and has wondeful amenities.

The room looks good at first from the outside but then when you get in the room there's lots of problems. The bathroom sink was clogged, the floor wasn't vacuumed that my cousin found a needle! When we were going to bed we noticed that the sheets were really messed up and we're a dark ish color. My aunt brought sheets so we put them on top. The only good thing was the bed cause it was so comfortable.

Not clean, non-recommandable.

Gym really bad, pool super good.
