My husband and I always stay here when we're in town. We like the king suite with hot tub. It's also a smoking room. Prices are good unless the horse show is in town. Lol good luck getting a room anywhere.

It is very fancy and has a good staff very clean rooms, 42in. Tv's, and a wonderful bathroom.

My usual go to place to stay when in this town. I enjoy the fact they know who I am moment I come in the door. They are always respectful of my service dog and where or what floor we would like to stay on which is great. The breakfast doesn't have a lot but it has the basic to get by.

I had a non-smoking room and it reeked to smoke. Everytime I went into the bathroom I felt like I was going to suffocate, because the smell of the bleach was so strong. Whoever cleaned it used too much, didn’t air it out, or just left it on all of the surfaces. The towels and sheets were also washed in said bleach and made my fiancé and I itchy. We ended up having to go buy our own towels and sheets. The internet was most definitely not high speed as advertised. There was MAYBE 5 megs for our room total according to our speed tests. The fridge was not cold at all, so we had no where to store our son’s formula. The staff was very rude except for the one man who was at the counter. He had an accent, but I’m not sure of his name. The white man that was at the counter the one day we were there did not have any professional conduct. He scoffed at my fiancé when we asked him to do something in his job description, and didn’t have one customer service bone in his body. 80% of your staff needs an attitude adjustment. The maids were kind and always did their jobs correctly and efficiently when they came to our room. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable which is an oddity for me, because I like my mattresses firm due to back issues. Lastly, the furniture had stains on them, and we could tell that they hadn’t been attempted to be scrubbed off at all. Overall this hotel was NOT worth the $80 a night and $100+ on the weekends.

Never again. Place is absolutely filthy. Mold around the bathtub. Hair all over the floor. Dust everywhere. Mirrow with waterspots. Bed barely made… and much more. We stayed there with friends and their room was just as filthy.

I will never stay at this place again. There was some back woods mouth breather who decided to tell me when I requested a smoking room that smoking weed was not included in the smoking room. Then when I told his dumb ass I do not smoke weed. He wanted to say everyone says that like I was lying. If you want good reviews, make him go mop a floor. Because he definitely look like that where he should have been and not in the front talking with customers who are paying their hard earned money to stay with you guys…

Room was clean. Everything worked. Centralled located in shellbyville and fairly priced. Would definitely stay again. Only weird thing was the manager pulling our money out for the stay 2 hour prior to check in even starting.

Pretty decent rooms. One employee, a guy, was very nice. Female employee could use some training on customer service.

Love this motel we stay here a lot now. Clean quiet rooms. Friendly employees and owners. We will be back…

Wonderful stay with wonderful guest services. Had miss understanding with staff but where friendly enough to help and even discount my room. Great people in a great place. Thank you econo lodge.

This was a very nice and peaceful overnight stay. We had work being done at our home and needed somewhere for the night. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Very clean rooms! Comfortable, very accommodating for seniors and very pet friendly. Plenty of parking, within walking distance of restaurants and fast foods. Staff is friendly, I would highly recommend this lodge. Five Star for the cost!

We always stay at the Hampton inn but couldn't get a room so we stayed here. It was a great experience. Three women by our selves get here in the evening and I go into the office to check in. I was met by the nicest young man who gave us a nice room by the door. We were so tired and we're just going to drag ourselves in but then the young man came out and carried everything in for us. What service. He was so nice. He made sure we had everything we could need. He checked on us later just to be sure we were okay. There were lots of motorcycles pulling in but he wanted us to know that they all stay there all the time and they were all very nice and because we were traveling alone he didn't want us to worry. We weren't but it was very nice of him to reassure us. Stay there. It is a great place.

We stayed 2 nights. Very affordable. The rooms were clean and the beds we're comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Was mildly surprised how modern and clean it was. Lovely entranceway and common area. Staff was friendly and quick.

Room was clean and nice. We were here to visit the casino. Casino is one exit up from the hotel. McDonalds, wendys and waffle house is near. Our stay was wonderful.

We used this hotel for our wedding guests and they loved it! Of those in town, it's at the top of the list for places to stay. The GM there was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with, we highly recommend staying there!

Very helpful and friendly staff, clean room with a renovated bathroom (new flooring, glass/plexiglass shower door instead of a shower curtain).

By far the cleanest, most comfortable place we have ever had the privilege of staying in! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great experience. The continental breakfast was wonderful, whirlpool tub, large screen TV mounted to wall, coffee in room, plenty of towels. Highly recommend.

I would of gave it a 5 star however them man thst works overnight is rude and also stands there over you in the morning, when you make waffles so you dont make a mess with the batter.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice service. Will definitely be going back during the Celebration next year!

I was highly impressed with our stay at this hotel, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Convenient location, clean rooms, excellent hot breakfast (Waffles, bagels, biscuits and gravy, all delicious. ) Only recommend asking for a downstairs room, as there is no elevator. Other than that, one of the best hotel stays that I've experienced!

The man who checked me in was very rude to me. He scolded me before I even had a key to my room. He told me if we were loud he would kick us out which seemed Strange to say at a check in. Other than that, the stay wentry well. The rooms were decent and breakfast was nice.

We needed a night out of the house with no kids, so we got a hot tub room here. While it's not luxurious by any means, if you are happy with a clean room, big comfortable bed, roomy tub with huge mirrors, and a fridge… you're going to be fine.

Room was very clean. Parking lot was kinda small but well lit. Hotel itself was clean and smelled very clean. The older gentleman was very nice when we checked in. The breakfast was meh but it hot and free. Has waffles and biscuits and gravy. All in all a good experience for our 2 night stay.

This hotel was wonderful for the price! The room was clean and the hotel was nicely decorated and not dark and depressing as most hotels at the same price are. The room was small and nothing fancy but it was more than enough for just one overnight stay for two. I can't really say much about the location because this wasn't a planned stay and we ended up here by mistake. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to save money and still have a fine night's stay.

Was told because of the horse show in town they raised there rates was told no military discount given because of horse show was told we would have a queen bed get in room and it is a standard full size will not be staying here again.

Very good and nice place to stay. It has been updated recently and very clean. The room was very nice with a huge flat panel tv. Staff was really friendly and check in was really fast. Had a hot breakfast.

Rude lady at check in. Room smelled musty. Towels smelled like dirty dish rags. Bathroom wasnt bery clean. Tv blurry. Go somewhere else.

From the cheerful welcoming staff, to the clean, pleasant smelling room to the quiet good night sleep — this was a good choice to overnight. Extras: large tv, mini fridge, and Legends restaurant next door. We'll be back.

We stay here everytime we are in town. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff is always friendly and even make fresh coffee in the evening if you ask. I agree with Mike S, we are treated respectfully and new manager goes out of his way to make the stay a positive experience. As where in other hotels, we are made to feel as though we should be grateful to have a room in their overpriced building. I love the new sheets. Very soft and NOT SOLID WHITE! The bed was so pretty and inviting when I walked in, I almost forgot about the hot tub. And the stand up showers are great. It is also located next to Legends… the BEST food anywhere.
