I never had the chance to stay at this hotel, although it was a relief when I got a look at this place. When I arrived, we could not find handicap parking spots, not even near the office. There were no curb cuts to be found for my wheelchair. So, my boyfriend had to go in and attempt to check in for me. They refused to let us check in because the card the reservation was made with did not match my card. We were told to re-book. I confirmed with Expedia that the card was correct. Because the place looked very sketchy, dirty, and inaccessible, we declined and stayed at the Motel 6—which actually was worth its price point. After, when we tried to dispute the charge, they refused to cooperate with me or with Expedia. Terrible business practices.

This place is a Disaster stay far from this place. The management doesnt care when you tell them the things that are wrong the dont even offer to make it Right or offer you a discount.

I did NOT stay. The lady at the front desk (who was VERY NICE) let us look at the room first. When we walked in, there were roaches literally just hanging out in plain view. On the wall. On the table. On the control panel of the a/c. It was bad. We returned the key, and told the lady the reason for our change of mind. She was apologetic, and assured us that the owner would be made aware. We left and went to Motel 6. But that's another review.

The motel was disgusting. The room smelled moldy and damp. There was hair in the shower. I showered in my flip flops. Used them in the shower because the pool was closed. It was full of green water. The only good thing was it had hot water. I am totally disappointed th hat Choice Hotels would have them on their list for a place to stay!. Do you it book a reservation with this establishment!

So far so good! The manager is amazing and very interested in customer feedback to make his business better. This afternoon the water was cut off with no warning, but it was back up and running in no time. Our room is very clean and the price is so good.

Room was really dated and in desperate need of some tlc. It was pretty dirty, especially the bathroom. There was no hair dryer. There was a large burn mark in the ironing board, and no iron provided. No fridge or coffee in the room. The pool looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a long time! This was the first place we stayed when we arrived in the states and it was pretty disappointing.

Stay A W A Y. I don't know where to start… Let me make it short so you could keep you and your family safe. I made a road trip of 13 hours and I arrive with my wife, sister and friend at 8pm… They took like 45 minutes to give us or key (A room with smoke free area) … As soon as we walked to the room with turn around, give the key back, asked for refund and started looking for another hotel. I understand that this is not luxurious but this was UNSAFE. We saw people doing C R A CK, guys passed out on the floor, other drunks guys and someone was doing a damn BBQ out of the room. They watched us like "hmmmm… we have new shoes guys". Couldn't take the picture, couldn't stay more than 1 minute there. If you are with your family and don't want to feel like you are gonna die or get robbed in less than a night, please, I advice, I ask: STAY A W A Y!

Someone had spilled soda pop in several places. The coffee machine was so dirty with what I can only.
Describe as human mucus, in the water well that we dared not use it. The room phone had no dial.
Tone or even sound when numbers were entered. No way to contact the front desk through the room.

On Sunday may 5th, our check out day, we again tried the room phone to contact the front desk,
With no success, about a late checkout. I ended up calling the number printed on the phone, 615-361-
6830 and spoke to a young man about a late checkout. He seemed confused but said "Sure". A short.
Time later the room phone rang, (in but not out) The young lady on the phone started the conversation.
With a very loud voice and demanded payment. I tried to get her to explain and she yelled if we stay.
Here she needed payment. Approximately 3 min later 3 men came to the room to demand payment. 2
Younger men stood back and 2 ladies stood next to our car as the older man exclaimed get out or pay.
This was over the late check out, nothing more.
None of this was explained to us when I was forced to use my cell phone to contact the front desk.

Great room. Wonderful location and view of downtown. Staff was very friendly. The only bad part was the clientele… it was kind of a rowdy crowd the night I stayed there.

This place was discusting! The bathroom smelled like urine. There was something on the toilet, that my husband cleaned off, do apparently was not cleaned because it came right off. I was on the lookout for bed bugs like crazy. Lifting mattresses and all. Did not find any. Blood on the wall and bedding. Was extremely dirty. When first pulling in the police was right in front with people getting arrested. There were many hookers and drug dealers and did not feel safe. The shower was super gross thank God for my flip flops I had for other hotels for the pools. Do not go here was unbelievably gross!

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Look at pics I took 5 minutes into bringing my luggage into the room to rest for the night. You decide.

Was a non smoking room, but the smell of cigarette smoke undeniable as soon as we walked in. The bathroom and end table were dirty. The man at the front desk told us he couldn't refund our money and that we had to call the booking site customer service. But before we just leave since he didn't think we could get our money back, he said he would give us a different room and we would see if it smelled like smoke or not. The room he then gave us was right next to the first one. That room was just as bad. Now the woman Nicole who we talked to when we decided to leave, she was very helpful and called to make sure we got a refund before we left.

The room we was going to stay in had BEDBUGS it was really small and the area is sketchy. The sheets were filthy it smelled like urine. The lady at the front desk was rude and when we told her they had bedbugs nothing was said. There was prostitutes outside and even looked to be a couple drug deals within the 15 minutes we was there.

Nothing fancy, but the guy at the desk was very nice. Didn’t find anything gross about the room, but was surprised to find there was not a phone in the room, lol. Not bad for the price, stores and food are easily accessible.

Expect to find hair and stains on your sheets even though the bed is made, expect to find dirty towels refold and put back and presented as new… with hair and feces in them yes I'm not kidding. Expect to have a roach crawl across you while you sleep and get into your food because there's roaches here. I've never been in such a dirty or nasty or hotel in my life and I have pictures if anybody wants them.

Real cozy great weekly rate. Add a few personal touches and it's a cozy little affordable temporary home. No fancy frills but half the price of anything else I found. I have found no bed bugs n believe me I've been on that one.

A little out of date, pool was closed for the season but looked nice, and staff was add acting, felt overly suspecious when just trying to get a cup of coffee at 6 am making us wait… Weird.

Just a warning the pictures make it look a lot nicer. We had cigarette burns in the sheets, bullet holes in the walls and curtains, the room above us had the entire window broken with no tape or anything. The pool was disgusting and probably hadn't been used in years. Ripped up tarp on it and a lot of trash that froze to it. If you have ever seen my name is Earl, this is the real life hotel. People were living there including homeless people outside. Every time therr was a siren 20 dogs started howling from different rooms. Would not recommend for the faint of heart.

Not a new establishment. This facility has obviously been here a while. Still it's clean and quiet. If you want luxury, this isnt the place to go. If you want a clean, quiet place to sleep, this is the place to go. My only complaint is that the heater stopped working and I had to sleep in a cold room. To be fair, when I checked out, I told the desk clerk and the maintenance guy was on it even before I pulled out of the parking lot.

This was the worse experience I have ever had. The room was disgusting and I was getting bit all night long. The management acted like it was no big deal. We were in only in the room for 5 hours and I got bit marks all over me and feel completely disgusted. I wish I can give a negative rating!

Not cheap but looks it. Outdated — dirty — dead bugs not clean to the max. The clean towels had long brown hair on them. And on the toilet. We didn't sleep under the covers. My son checked for bed bugs didn't see any. We had an early flight only stayed like 3 hours never again. Even in my college days would have left. Just was so tired and needed a break.

This place had bugs in the bed the management was extremely rude. They refused to give me my money back not even part. The pictures that I'm posting I from the the bed and pillow. As soon as I pulled the covers back the the bugs were exposed. The people renting next to me had a dog that barked constantly. I did not spend the night I spent less than an hour in the room total. One of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

Do not go here! Rooms are small, dirty, and no fridge or microwave.

We checked in they double charged my card. Went back 5 minutes later, manager said it'll be ok in the morning. Let me tell you, it wasn't. The room was disgusting. Cockroaches crawling down the walls, bed was like a 100 yr old bumpy road. As we were trying to get our money back, which we didnt, another gentleman had the exact same thing done to his card. That extra you took from me I cannot recover for 72 hours. Thank you for that. Know I have a half of tank of gas, no food money, and still have 9 hours to travel. Looks like side of the road till the bank can straighten out what you did to us. Everyone please check your mobile bank if your brave enough to put yourself in that situation. Oh the worst part this was a trip from Florida to Massachusetts to say goodbye to my dad. I didn't need 1 more thing on my plate.

Felt unsafe. Checked in and checked out about 15 minutes later. Obvious sign of bed bugs, holes in walls, disgusting unusable pool, obvious crime/gang activity, tenants and staff staring at us as we entered our room. I cannot stress enough that this place is a heap of garbage and you'd be better off sleeping in a dumpster.

DO NOT STAY HERE they have bed bugs! My friends and I stayed here one night for a girls trip and woke up at 5am covered in bites went straight to the office and requested a manager and refund only to be told he wont be here till Monday. We don't live here I will be calling. On top of that they have roaches as well! Room smells, walls fithy, just all over sad. We hightailed it out of there our belongings currently in bags outside.

Left without staying. Dirty, disgusting, and not safe for children. Non smoking room had linens with cigarette burns and smelled moldy. When I tried to call front desk the phone was missing the cord… I'd sleep in my car at a rest area before this dump. This was a last resort because the Days Inn nearby overbooked their non smoking rooms and everyone else was booked up when we tried to check in. Ended up driving out of town to find a decent place.

Found room to recently be refurbished. Good clean and new. Breakfast ok nothing great. Staff helpful all three days. Area not great but room not booked for area.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It's extremely gross and outdated. Stains all over carpet and walls. There were cigarette burns in sheets, bugs in the room, old fuzzy box TV, sketchy clientele fighting outside our room, engines reving in the middle of the night, partially broken locks and deadbolts on the door. Don't stay here! We only did because we were exhausted driving from Atlanta; but didn't sleep great anyway. Don't be fooled by online pictures. Nothing even remotely appealing about this place.

Cheap place if you're on a budget & place is not what it looks like in pictures. The room I stayed in, looked like someone tried to kick the door in from previous stays, shower barely worked, pool was very disgusting, and I didn't feel very safe. Felt like I needed a tetanus shot as soon as I got back home!

Was ok no bugs sheets felt weird. Pool is closed looks permanently. Someone eyed my cars belongings as soon as I walked out of view. My lady watched him peering in our windows. It said right next to everything well it is if u swim the river and walk a few more miles after that. So everything they say about their place is a lie, and it is in slummy area.

Where do I start? This is a nasty place! The pictures are misleading they took them at great angles so it appears to be nice and comfortable. Roaches are crawling in the bathroom stains are on the walls also. — 0 stars is the rating for this place. How does Choice advertise this as on of their properties? This looks like one of the motels that prostitutes and drug addicts frequent! I have no other place to go because everywhere else is booked.

NO… just NO, don't stay here! Stayed one night during the solar eclipse. Had two nights reserved but left as soon as we could. Dirty! We used our quilts & pillows that we had in our car. Floors were filthy. Bathroom was dirty. Looked like drugs being sold at the back. Very scary! Did not feel safe. Would NEVER stay here again.

We found bed bugs. Wanted to check out at 2 am, the girl in the office wasn't there so we sat in the car. Tried calling the office multiple times. No answer. Half hour later she comes strolling in with her boyfriend or "customer" or whatever. Looked like they came from a room. And she Said she was fixing a TV. C'mon! And she had very poor customer service. I think her name was Nicole.

Pretry clean but musty. Toilet base needed cleaning. Staff was nice. Dead bug found! Sketchy people outside who left quickly. Quiet & good for a simple short stay A little expensive for the facilities tho.

NEVER STAY HERE! This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Manager is rude and doesn’t care once they take your money. The room smelled of urine and mold. Bugs were coming out of the drains in the bathroom. The whole building was gross and run down and not in a very good area. It was nothing like the pictures when we were booking. We left immediately and asked for a refund. The manager agreed, but it wouldn’t go back into my account for 3-5 days. Luckily we had extra money for a different hotel or else we would be stuck there. Then when I looked at my bank account, there were $200 in additional charges! The manager said that was part of the refund process and it all would go back once the refund processed. I started having it out with her because that makes no sense. She was talking over me and wouldn’t let me talk. I told her she was being rude and she hung up on me. I called Choice Hotels directly and they told me they couldn’t do anything other than confirm that the original amount was being refunded because they do not actually own the hotel. They said they didn’t even see the additional $200 on their end. They told me to go through the hotel directly, which clearly isn’t an option. I’ve had nothing but trouble and may even need to cancel my card if they keep charging it. Never stay here!

Very disappointed. The room/bathroom was dirty. Check the back of the door and the sink surround The atmoshere of the area felt unsafe with people "hanging out" on the corner and behind the building.

The room we got had no microwave, no refrigerator no phone, hot water didnt work good, shower had stains in it 1 queen bed for 2 ppl the pool looked good but was closed for repair clerk said & she couldnt do anything about our problems excpet get us another room for $15 more, at least I got my refund 7 went o Super 8 Motel jus down road on Bridge Church Pike which was %150 better. Dont go to this place its sad.

We arrived at this place and attempted to rent a room. We were told we couldn't check in until 2 pm. If we paid an additional $10.00 for early check-in we could get the room early. It was 12:30 pm. Once we got to the room it was filthy and had no water pressure in the shower. When we asked for a different room they said all there rooms were booked. I asked for the money back for the room and was told it would be put back on my card within 45 days. Front desk also said there were no rooms at any of the motels around them. We found room a block away that was an excellent room for half the cost. Avoid this location at all costs!

Its a freaking joke! First of all, they left a new girl by herself and she had no idea how to process a credit card payment. I thought I paid and went to my room and laid down as I travelled all day and the front desk woke me up. She said I needed to come back down because my payment wasnt processed. I told her to give me a few minutes and she said I needed to hurry because she needed to leave. Once I got down there, I asked how much the pop was and asked if they accepted credit cards for that. I was told they only accepted cash but I could walk across the street to the conveinience store because they take cards. NOTHING about this is OK! The app I booked through called them to try and get some discount on the room for the trouble and they refused. Already cancelled my booking for my return trip.

I take alot of trips myself with my wife and I have never incountered this type of situations, this was a real shame because my daughter-in-law and her husband has two kids and they do not take many trips just the two of them. Therefore, we help them with this trip as a birthday present, I was just as upset, as they were, over the situations, Pre-paid for the room two weeks in advance, who does that except for a place that need the revenue. Shame on Choice Hotels Inc for allowing this to happen. The following was written by my daughter-in-law. I booked with Rodeway Inn, Nashville through a third party website. The site had nice pictures and overall good reviews. It was rated a 6.1 (out of 10). Not GREAT but not BAD either. So, it sounded like a good choice for my husband and I for our fun Nashville weekend away. Boy was I WRONG! Shortly after booking, the credit card was charged which I was not aware was going to happen. Then while “Google Mapping” the location, I realize there is a liquor store directly in front of the hotel. The reviews on Google Maps were overwhelmingly negative! They talked about people congregating outside of the hotel rooms and a very loud nightclub next door as well as bad rooms and staff. So, I decided to cancel my booking. I called the third party site who said it would cost me $127.98 to cancel. This was 2 weeks before our trip!

You definitely get what you pay for with this one. The room we were assigned looks very dated, there's a rather large crack in the ceiling. Our room was also part of an adjoining room — which was a little unnerving. The mattress had a flat sheet in place of a fitted sheet, which obviously became untucked and exposed the mattress. Yuck! And the housekeeping crew very obviously did not clean the bathroom while we were gone (didn't even make an attempt to pretend like they did, luckily we are pretty clean people. ) The remote to the early 2000s TV didn't work 8/10 times, and we only were able to watch half of the available channels (most of which were religious), and the reception was kinda bad. The vending machines were out of order. You do not get a mini fridge unless you want to pay extra for it. The lighting in the room is pitiful, one light in the ceiling and the rest are wall lamps. The view we had was litterally the opposite wall the other parts of the building. The bathroom sink often acted like it wanted to overflow and the sink drain-stopper did not work because it was not attached to the pull thing on the back of the faucet. The only good thing about this place is the location — we were less than 10-15 minutes away from Downtown Nashville and surrounding areas of interest.

Do NOT stay here! It's a nightmare hotel! Shower light above "your head" leaks water (electrical hazard! ) The faucet is falling apart, phone don't work, it was torn out of the wall leaving a large open whole, I found a crack pipe on the night stand & a large roach trap behind the toilet. The 90's tube model TV is mounted uneven/tilted (dangerous). Room is completely mismatched, cheap, tiny & just Filthy! Mgr is rude. People get high w/ their door open, while being loud & obnoxious 24/7. We did NOT sleep! I took photos for proof! Do NOT take KIDS here EVER for healthy & safety!

Absolutely disgusting! Bugs everywhere! They don't bring clean sheets or towels unless they feel like it. Horrendously overpriced and they will not work with you at all! Very rude and belligerent!

The hotel is located in a bad area. The first thing you see is a huge sign stating If anything is stolen from your car it's not the hotel's responsibility. Rooms are nasty! Then beds have no mattress cover and when I pulled back the sheets they were covered with bed bugs! I have never seen so many. When my wife complained and asked for money back because of the bed bugs the guy told her he knew they were infested. I feel sorry for the people at least we knew to look for bed bugs. As many as we seen I am sure people are being eaten up. I think if a hotel is infested with bed bugs and they know it they should tell people ahead of time and if not they should be held accountable. Would never stay at any hotel associated with this chain. If the people that work there are aware they have bed bugs and it goes untreated I wouldn't want to be around them. He told us they just treat them like fleas! Omg! fleas don't suck your blood and feed off you while you sleep. Huge difference. Pay the extra money stay in a bed bug free hotel. All I can say is run do not stop at this hotel it's nasty!

Would never stay here again. Definitely not in the safest area. Took cabs downtown, and one of the cab drivers stated that he never picks up from a certain area (close by to the motel) because he has been robbed so many times. Sketchy people. Had some guy persistently try to sell my boyfriend and I alcohol from the trunk of his car. One morning, woke up with bites all over me. Room just looked dirty and all of the furniture was in horrible condition. Not worth the price, definitely stay somewhere better.
