We stayed there Saturday November 2nd and my poor Granddaughter was bitten over 15 times by either bed bugs or spiders. We reported this to management and took pictures and they refuse to do anything to make it right. Do not stay there!

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at I would not even give them a star! So we got there late on a Friday night the manager check us in when we got there. So when we got into the hotel room it was HOT in the room so we called the front desk and we were under the impression that she was sending someone up there to check on it. No one ever came! So Saturday morning the man behind the cashier said that he will have someone to look at the unit. Well he came and said they have a venting problem and the AC units don’t work on that hallway to talk to the manager. So we went and talked to the manager and she acted like she never knew about the problem and then later on in the conversation she said that when we checked in she told us about about it and we still wanted us to be in that room! Which is false she NEVER told us about this. All she said if you want to you can check out of the hotel and I will refund you only 1 night instead of 2 nights.

Absolutely horrible place! When I checked in, he took a personal call during it. Then when we got to the room, we noticed the bathroom was dirty! The floor was gross, and there was a USED bandaid in the tub! We peeled back the sheets, and of course, they were dirty! I went down stairs and got new sheets. Whoever helped me with that, thank you! You were very kind!
They gave me $30 off, so thank you for that!
I will never stay here again!

I stayed at the Clarion Inn n Murfreesboro TN after my house sold n searching for new place They pampered me daily my suite was beautiful n comfortable. With a tub with jets I hadn't slept that good n 30 years. The breakfast each morning was fabulous! n housekeeping was wonderful. Also front desk personal were so helpful n friendly. The heated pool n hot tub we as a huge plus I love to swim! I made some close friends thru the entire staff here. I miss u all n love u for taking such good care of me n making my stay safe n very satisfied!

Hotel is under construction but it does not hinder enjoyment.
Our room is beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. The value for the price is surprising.
Once completed, it will be incomparable. Give them a try.

The first thing told to me was that if I didn't want to be patient I could leave and come back later. Now I can deal with a bad attitude but the 'gentleman' I dealt with made me feel as though I'd said or done something hateful and I'd only asked 3 questions about the property. After finding the room he had charged me for, the light switches didn't work. I asked about it and was told there was a switch I needed to find. I couldn't get the bathroom light to turn on and I called the front desk and his first response was, "I'm just going to move you! " and hung up. The second room wasn't much better. The door wouldn't close all the way, the bathroom knob is broken and the TV is in sad disrepair. I'm just sorry I don't know the people who own this place, I'd call them and inform them of the condition their property is in and that their guests are being treated so poorly.

Our room was just renovated and awesome; it was clean and nice. However, pool was the most dirtiest hotel pool we’ve ever seen. There were clumps of dust and bugs and one floating band-aid. We let them know about the pool the first night that we stayed but other morning it wasn’t changed. Hot tub was a little cleaner but it starts smelling when you put the jets on. It was disappointing for us because the reason why we chose here was the hot tub. Breakfast had regular food like waffles, biscuits and sausages. You get full if you eat but obviously it’s from cheap ingredients and it doesn’t taste great.

Where to start… Clean room, wonderful breakfast, beautiful pool, gorgeous hot tub, fantastic staff. I would like to complain about something to even this review out, but there is nothing that was wrong. It was possibly one of the best, most comfortable places I have stayed. Two thumbs up. I only wish I had more thumbs to give them.

This place was very run Down, not kept up. Very disappointing for a choice hotel brand. How did they let it get this shabby. Inside the front, it says they are remodeling, but they must have just started. The webpage doesn’t mention remodeling or the fact that the outdoor pool is closed. By the front door is an inspection sheet — says inspectors need to come back when issues cleared up. Very disappointing. Good things — Staff is helpful, kind, friendly. Breakfast is great, well stocked, hot, full of choices.

I rated a 1 star because there's nothing lower. The ceiling was missing tiles in the hallway, the front side of the hotel looks nice, but it's clear they only added on to the seedy motel at the back. The room was VERY dated, was nothing like advertised, water damage on baseboards and carpet, hasn't been update since the 1800's, was advertised on "Vacations Made Easy" as pet friendly and smoking king size bed rooms available, neither were true on arrival. We booked a king size bed with hot tub, which was not the case when we arrived, a regular jetted tub was in the room. There is no pool outside, only indoors. We cancelled upon seeing the room and are currently attempting to get a refund. The only positive in this whole situation was the staff, who were very kind and attempted to help any way they could, unfortunately after seeing the room, there was no WAY we were staying there.

This hotel is very accommodating. We had my daughter's birthday here last year. There's an area to dine. Theres an indoor pool. There's a bar/restaurant that IS kid friendly. The rooms are under renovation now. Can't wait to see how everything turns out!

We enjoyed it. The kids loved having a room that opened out to the pool & breakfast areas. We look forward to visiting again after the remodel is completed.

This place is real life horror show. Don't be deceived by the clean appearance of the front desk it's just a prop. We were here with our team for a high school sporting event and stayed 2 nights. We checked in and scoped out a parking spot close to our room. When we moved the car around back they were doing renovations and the trash was unbelievable. Litter in the parking lot and in the corridor. We walked to the entry door and it pushed right open. I am a maintenance supervisor and I identified many deficiencies. This door had wires that control the magnetic lock just hanging free. When we got to our room (128) I was able to just open the door without the key card. We entered the room and I could smell smoke, the place smelled bad. The carpets were stained and then I saw a cockroach. I took a picture and went straight to the front desk to report this. Based on the mangers lack of alarm I knew this was old hat for him. He couldn't move us because he said the hotel was booked solid. I killed the cockroach myself and used luggage to block the door shut. That night the fire alarm went off over and over with a blaring buzzer and flashing strobes. It didnt stop going off until the next day. The cops were in and out of here several times for who knows what. Some of our kids had to double up in rooms because one room had blood in the bathroom that had not been cleaned from a previous stay and another had cockroaches all over.

Don't waste your money. Definitely not worth $100. Room was dirty and awful. We had to use tissue to cover our peep hole on the door because it was missing. Only thing clean was the sheets and towels. Yes they are renovating but don't even think about staying there until that's done. And even with that my husband and I will never stay there again. Horrible service at the front desk too.

Nice, quiet stay. Hotel has been recently renovated. Front Desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Parking lot had several open spaces and was able to park right in front of the room. Felt safe and secure. Breakfast included eggs, hashbrowns, waffles and biscuits. Had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here.

This place was terrible. Not only was the pool not working the room dirty but they have us the key to another person's room when we checked in when we walked in and saw we told them and they didn't even have the customer service to say sorry or even like acknowledge their stupidity. Then the door to OUR ACTUAL room was actually coming off the frame from the wall and you could see out and then inside. Dirty not well maintained the parking lot was torn up and so was the entire outside if the building then the morning of checking out they had someone OD at their hotel with the drug dealer/hooker living at their hotel according to the cop and the staff knew about the lady but never told anyone. Stay away I wish I did!

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I stayed here roughly a month ago with my wife and a friend. Our friend lives in Murfreesboro and recommended it after a stay a few years beforehand. My wife and I live six hours North and made the reservations before making our drive. We were promised an upgraded room with a whirlpool and a balcony, one that we were getting through an online special discount. When we arrived, we were quoted a price of roughly $90. Our room wouldn't open at first with the key we were given, no big deal because we were promptly given keys that worked. We immediately noticed that our room didn't have a whirlpool and that this so called "balcony" was a first floor room with a sliding back door. The back door opened to a potted plant. The beds were okay, but the pool was closed. We were advised beforehand that the hotel had a pool and were never told that it was out of order. That night, my wife and friend talked to the front desk employee and were informed that we would receive a FULL refund. Upon departure, we were given only a $20 refund by the general manager. He told us that it was for the pool being out of order. After receiving the discount, my bill was then somehow $87, much different than the original $90 I had signed off on. Overall the hotel will look much better with the current renovations, but it won't make a difference when the staff lie to their customers. The buffet was good, but that was it.

Being remodeled. Overall great set up. Breakfast was good. Beds were soft. My complaint was the room smelled like stinky feet. Thank goodness I had my diffuser. We turned the diffuser on and went to dinner. When we returned it smelt much better.

We made great memories over the 5 nights we stayed and I'm thankful for that. But… this place is not a hundred dollar a night place. The breakfast is awesome and it's close to a lot yes but the rooms are $60 rooms the way it's ran is even poorer. The breakfast guy is awesome the cleaning staff nice and efficient. Will never stay again and don't recommend. They are remodeling but that doesn't excuse the door handles coming off in your hand, the way too short shower curtain you have to pick a side and bring it with you, the bathtub is extremely slippery with one low down handle my 9 year old daughter fell real bad the first night. Just a lot wrong with this place an in particular the one lady at the front desk and how the front desk is ran overall. Thank you. Oh and fix the only way into the indoor pool so your hand doesn't get sliced on the metal door.

May change later (after they put in "4 million dollars upgrade, " ) but as of now the stay was horrendous. We were put in the wrong room to start with. Not surprising consider the lady checking us in kept speaking to other people and having other conversations while on the phone with me. The room we were in was filthy, scuffed up, had a torn/pulled up carpet and rust stains in the bathroom shower and toilet. Was informed the workers were "new, " as though that is a good excuse. We were lied to about the pool/hot tub and later told: "well there's signs up, " as if I can see them through the phone and doesn't change the fact that when we asked if the pools would be available we were told: "yes. " The room was supposed to have a whirlpool tub and upgraded beds, which it did not and if the bed was, that was very uncomfortable and lumpy. Lastly we requested a non smoking room AWAY from smokers and we were but when we told them people were smoking outside of our room NOTHING was done; extremely lovely considering I have asthma. The breakfast was okay. Our room was "discounted" to $82 from $102. Which was NOT the original quoted price we were fully willing to pay more for the up graded room because we are on our vacation and wanting to relax and enjoy our selves Maybe in 6 months to a year when they are done upgrading and they have a trained staff? Seriously disappointing. Have pictures.

Reservation was for smoking room king but we don`t smoke and wife has issues with steps. They gave us non smoking two queens 1st floor. Room was clean and breakfast was great.

We stayed here four (4) days as we had a family member in the ICU at Saint Thomas Hospital. The place is undergoing a beautiful renovation, rooms are well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The rates are very fair, rooms are also furnished with a microwave, coffee pot and a small refrigerator. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. Very friendly staff willing to meet your needs.

Great hotel. Easy access off freeway. Very nice, full breakfast, clean rooms. Only complaint is rooms off the atrium are loud with kids playing till after midnight. Great price. Friendly staff.

This hotel should not be rated 3 stars. The main space indoors is nice, but many rooms (including the one we had) open outdoors, with poor doors. The door to our room had gaps all around it, which let cold air in all night. The heater in the room, which also seemed ancient, was not able to warm the room enough for us to sleep well. We froze, and they only had a thin blanket on the beds. Additionally, the rooms are small, crowded, and dirty. The floor of the bathroom had dirt and dead insects on it, I found cereal between my sheets when I got into bed, and the curtains were grimy. Finally, the staff were unenthusiastic, never welcoming us, asking how our stay was going, or whether we needed anything. Truly, the only thing that was enjoyable about our stay was the breakfast in the morning. I don't suggest staying at this hotel and I suggest the hotel be rated lower.

Clean and comfortable room, although dated. Be aware interior and exterior rooms are both available, but at different prices. If you book a discounted room on a website, you will likely get an exterior room and need to walk through the cold outdoors to get to the heated pool. We instead chose to "upgrade" to an interior room for an extra $15. The pool area needs more supervision, as parents apparently get a room and let kids have a swimming party and ignore the rules. Management responded in about 20 minutes when I reported 8 unsupervised small children doing cannon balls in the hot tub followed by the pool followed by the hot tub again, etc. But the second the manager left they were doing it again. I did bring this to management's attention again this morning. When we left, two of the same kids (maybe aeound 10 years old? ) were in the pool with no adult in the pool enclosure at all.

Literally the only thing good is the breakfast. I only stay here because I have to for work. The maids clearly couldn't care less about doing their job of… I don't know… cleaning? I could have knitted a sweater out of the amount of hair that was in my room. Pee on the toilet seat. Used soap bottles in the shower… come on at least make it LOOK like you cleaned it. You literally didn't even try… the only thing it doesn't have to make this place totally suck is, they don't have roaches, they're good in that department. Two stars for a great breakfast because you know, it's the most important meal of the day.

Well first of all, I didn't get the room that I reserved and paid for online. All the hallways smelled like smoke. My mini refrigerator door wouldn't stay shut, I had to block it shut with my suitcase. There were paint splatters on the carpet. On of the cupboard doors was off. The Kleenex box was empty and one of the soaps was open. My bed was really comfortable though. Then the next day they were running out of breakfast. There was a couple of groups that stayed that night, a dance group and a basketball team but they should have been aware of how many guests they had and been able to accommodate us.

Easy access to I-24. The hotel itself is a little dated but pleasant. It was unusually warm for the season the day of our meeting so the atrium area was quite warm. The meeting rooms were very comfortable, however, and well suited for our presentation.

We checked in on 10-15-2017. The desk clerk leads us to believe we received a AAA discount, which we didn't receive. There was volleyball teams staying at the hotel who were extremely loud partying at midnight inside the hotel. We called the front desk multiple times, the front desk people were rude and blew us off. The hotel is extremely outdated and gross. We found bugs in our room. Our room door sticks so it's hard to get into. I am paying over $800 for six nights. I don't have a problem paying that much when I am receiving good quality service but this hotel is severely lacking good quality professional service. I would read the reviews before staying here especially when the staff isn't accommodating when we brought our issues to them. Our rates were also raised more than $80 a night. I feel robbed and I will never stay at a Clarion. We traveled 10 hours to stay at a 3 star hotel that should have zero stars for how the service is.

Interesting hotel (used to be a Holiday Inn) and good breakfast. The hotel has a large interior lobby, so about half of the non-suite rooms have entrances on the exterior, and half on the interior. The interior lobby has a swimming pool, hot tub, breakfast area, and plenty of chairs & tables. The only negative I noticed is that this interior lobby area was pretty warm, which I guess is good if you're swimming. Breakfast included all the standard Choice Hotels breakfast items, plus biscuits & gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns that we're nice and crispy, and both vanilla and blueberry waffles. Just orange juice and not the usual juice machine with multiple options, though. There were two employees working hard to keep the breakfast stocked.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The inside pool was convenient and clean. However, it was always very humid inside the hotel, they had to have fans blowing to keep the air circulating to keep from getting too hot. Sad to say, the floor was FILTHY. We checked in and were in our room for about 20min barefoot when we noticed a black coloring on our feet from some substance from just walking around. The breakfast was decent for the price: pancakes, toast, eggs, sausage/bacon with some yogurt or fruit.

Could be 4 stars with some updates. Our room had a broken hinge on the bathroom door. Other than that the room was ok. Obviously when this was built it was a higher-end facility. Indoor pool, exercise room, atrium, lounge and restaurant. The complementary breakfast was good. Close to everything. Great property for the price.

Not terrible, but not great. Roaches of all life stages in the bathroom and behind the TV. Breakfast was decent, I enjoyed making my own waffle. Staff was friendly, especially at check in (it was late. ) But when I told the front desk about the roaches, there was no kind of reparation made. The bar was still open when we arrived and we had dinner without needing to get back in the car, which was nice. Bring your suit, there's an indoor pool for your kids to pee in, in mean swim.

Nice for the price. Rooms were clean but black mold around sprinkler head. Lobby way nicer than the rest of the facility. Surprising great breakfast buffet… almost the same as 4 star hotel stayed in the previous evening.

OVERALL: Nice setup for a hotel with open pool area in middle, but has not been very well kept up or cleaned. POSITIVE: Big open area in the middle for breakfast and pool area are very nice for swimming, eating, or just hanging out and chatting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Has potential with the way it is set up to be a nice hotel if some serious renovations are changed to modernize some things and clean things up. negative: dirty. We were there for 3 nights and there was some trash in multiple hallways that didn't move an inch from when we checked in to when we left. The rooms were sufficient with space and comfortable bed, but the jetted tub and bathroom were noticeably dirty as well.

Hotel staff was nice. Reserved a room on the outside for my dog, got a room on the inside, which annoyed me, but the people next to me weren't too loud, so my dog was able to fall asleep, luckily. horribly kept on the outside, with puke (new and old) all over the stairs and walkways. Found a cute little bat sleeping under one of the overhangs, so that's a plus I guess? the inside, besides my room apparently, was well kept and relatively clean. its really hot in the hallways, since for some reason they exhaust the AC units into the hallways and indoor courtyard thing. Might be a good idea during the winter, but as of this review the hallways are like ovens. Who thought that was a good idea? the hotel room bathrooms share vents. If you peek into your vent, you can see the the wall of another room on the other side, which means the walls may as well be as thin as paper, you can hear EVERYTHING. parking was tight and confusing, with probably 15 cars looking for spots. creepy people sitting in parking spots, on stairs, and on the walkway watching me leave my car. Hopefully they're nice people, but they looked like they wanted to take my luggage when I went to go check in. This isn't the hotel's fault, but its something to look out for.

It's okay place, we went here because we have, dog. They do charge 10$ pet fee! And the pet owners can only stay at the outside rooms. The rooms are decent but not very good, the bathrooms are great and the breakfast is great too! It's a big hotel with lot of rooms wish is very hard to update and upgrade everything!

It's like an Oreo cookie. Rough on the outside but smooth on the inside. Don't let the outside appearance keep you away. My stay was great. Rooms updated and clean. Breakfast was good. Location to places to eat is very good. KFC shares parking lot it's that close. Staff very nice and helpful. I will be staying at this Motel on my return trip.

We stayed here overnight on a trip from Minnesota to Florida. Ruin was clean, other people in the hotel were a bit loud late, and the breakfast was mediocre.

This hotel is poorly organized as far as room numbers are concerned. Our turn down service came very late as well. The bed was comfortable and the kids had a good time at the pool. Breakfast was descent and the location was good from an amenities standpoint. I'm absolutely certain that 99% of the hotels within a mile were better but you get what you pay for.

I wish I had read reviews before booking. Bathroom has ring around tub. There are scuffs on walls and something resembling ketchup smeared on the curtains. Paid 109 plus tax. I wouldnt even expect this at a room going for much less. A lot of creepy looking guys hovering around trucks and cars in the parking lot. We asked if they had security here and they said they did not. I wasn't given the option of giving this place no stars so I'm stuck with one star.

We go to Nobody's and love it. Great staff and love yhe karaoke.

Smelled like weed, felt unsafe, old, outdated, loud, uncomfortable, terrible bedding, just all around unpleasant.

I travel for a living and stay in hotels 4 to 5 nights a week this hotel was one of the better ones. The rooms are pretty decent, nothing too fancy, although the beds are quite comfortable. One of the nicer parts is the indoor pool and hot tub. They also have a laundry facility with the typical $2.00 to wash $2.00 to dry and you have to run the dryer at least twice. I wouldn't have any problem recommending this hotel.

Motel is a little old but very nice. Beds were good, room clean, overall a great stay. Would stay there again. The breakfast was also very good.

You can tell that this is an older facility, but the rooms are perfectly fine, and have been updated. Beds are comfortable, pillows too. There's both an indoor pool, and a jacuzzi, as well as a pool table and arcade games. The pet fee was $12 per pet per stay, whcih is far better than some other hotels in the area that wanted upwards of $50. Breakfast was great, with a standard spread of cereals and pastries, along with sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy. All in all, the place is a great place to stay at a great value.

This was the 4th time we've stayed at the clarion just outside of Nashville. The front desk was able to give us a great rate and the room was spotless! The breakfast is better than most with the standards plus biscuits and gravy and a waffle maker. The only downside this time was that the heater for the hot tub was turned a bit low, unlike our other visits. We definitely planon stopping here again on our way home!

Had a great time again. Visited in September and was so impressed that we made a reservation here over thanksgiving! Wasn't quite as impressed this time… got tub jets weren't working this visit. Bummer. Not a deal breaker. Check out time is posted in room as 12noon. Checked out last time at 12noon. This time at 1130 we had employees knocking on our door repeatedly, first asking when we would be leaving, then asking again, then a visit from the manager… to which we responded by presenting the table topper that shows check out at noon. She said it was a mistake and apologized but we were on track for a noon departure… not 1130 or 1140 or 1150 so we unfortunately caused a big fuss with housekeeping who wanted to leave to be with their families on thanksgiving. Understandable! But totally not our fault. So I cannot give 5 stars this time around! Will possibly look elsewhere next time we visit… Buy would still recommend for the price!
