Front Desk gentlemen was fantastic! Very nice and polite. Went out of his way to make my check in smooth 😁

There was high impact blood splatter in room 128 on the top left corner of the wall of the bathroom above the toilet, as well as on the ceiling and on the wall between the mirror and lighting fixture in the bathroom. They wouldn’t issue us a refund on the room. We didn’t stay the night and checked out immediately after discovering this. Absolutely appalling. Feel free to private message me for a video of the room and the blood splatter.
Although it’s nothing in comparison to the high impact blood splatter, there was also a small amount of mold in the bathtub and a puke-ish looking substance splashed on the wall in the room.
I hope whoever was involved in whatever happened in room 128 found peace.
We are shocked and will never stay at this hotel or chain again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If it rains, the majority of the parking lot is flooded so bad you can’t park or walk in it. Room was horrible and completely outdated! Horrible mildew smell. Appears to be mildew stains on the ceiling. The pictures have all been removed from the walls but the metal brackets and hotels still remain. Stains in the carpet in several places. Pink marker type stains on the bedding. Bath towels are old and have strings hanging off of them. The stopper in the tub doesn’t work so can’t take a bath. The toilet was horribly stained and disgusting. The TV looks like it’s from the year 2000 and looks like it hasn’t been dusted or cleaned since then either! The ad says “premium channels” which is a lie. Several channels did not work and out movie channels at all. Bed NOT comfortable at all. Halls smell like weed. And the worst part was poor front desk service! Staff not wearing masks. Guests in the lobby just hanging out and not wearing masks either. I got back to my room at about 9pm on Saturday and the loudest music coming from next to me. So loud it was literally vibrating stuff on the desk. Lamp shade vibrating. I call the front desk and they say there’s a party in the room next to me but they will be done in about an hour. Finally at 11pm they turned the music down but then the next 90 min was loud laughing, yelling and so forth while the guests were leaving!

Love this hotel very kid friendly ive been here 5 times the staff is friendly & I will continue to come back because of the reasonable prices & amazing staff.

We came to Memphis to see Graceland before some legal appointments 2.5hrs the other direction. We knew nothing of this area before arrival. I chose this motel because it looked good online and because I figured closer to the airport meant it would be in a better area of town (we drove) it was not the best part of town but I felt safe here. The property was secured with a "prison" type fence. The first night not long after arrival I was getting ready to go for dinner and dropped my expensive diamond earring down the sink I was devastated (ugly crying) went to front desk told them and within 10mins KENNY an employee here was in our room removing the pipes and retrieved my earing! THANK GOD… That same night my husband got into bed and water dripped onto his face from the ceiling. He went to front and came back quickly and we were moved to another room. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend the place to anyone who's working with a budget. We got our money's worth and I am pleased. Shout out to kenny for getting my earing out of the pipes thank you so much!

Came down for the music Festival this year. The first room the spa tub was broke and stains on the pillow cases. They moved us up stairs to a even dirtier room. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the room to my standards. Not to mention the spa tub was still dirty, I flipped the mattress over. It had a pee stain that almost to over the whole bed. Towels that were in the bathroon had red stuff on them. We leave out to go get a bite to eat, came back and the whole ceiling was leaking water like crazy. I wish I could upload the video of this messy hotel. Got moved again to an do able room for our last night. We moved every night while we stayed in this hotel. I wouldn't take my dog if I had too. The pool area needs some attention. I grear hotel that done went downhill. Oh and after a full refund the dumb people charged my card for one night WHICH I got it right back because they did a authorization without my approval. Pissy hotel in the Memphis area. The whole front desk staff look like they just wake up and come to work. Unprofessional!

Room was modern, clean and large. Pool area with hot tub was not clean. Gym equipment did not work. Steak did not seem safe. Hot breakfast was wonderful!

I loved this place it was great the people was great all the way around… They was really nice and most of all if you needed anything they did not wait 30 minutes or longer to get what you needed as soon as you asked for it they was right there with what you needed… The place was great I will be back here in a heartbeat.

Pool has too much chemical, halls smell moist but they appear to to trying to hand that. The rooms are non refundable because when you get here and discover that none of the gym equipment works at all and neither do some other thing. One of the lights is actually loose so that you can pull it in-and-out the other 1 is the same only broken. You should also plan on drinking bottled water as the local water is not very tasty. With all of that said our room is nice at least. Extremely unsatisfied. You should be required to announce when your stuff is broken and for the price of these rooms you should be able to fix it. Furthermore after inquiring into the issues about, evening manager attempted to offer me $25 " for gas money … hopefully the real manager has a bit more customer service experience, an less attempts at looking threatening…

I am a person who is not interested in luxury amenities. I want a hotel that is clean, safe, conducive to sleep and reasonably priced. This hotel was all those things. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, the room was quiet and the curtains sufficiently blocked out any light. The breakfast was standard fare, but well stocked and there were plenty of tables to sit at. The staff was friendly and helpful. On our second day there, the desk clerk, Monty, took the time to ask if there was anything we needed. Although the hotel was not extremely close to downtown Memphis, it was near the highway so it was easy to get to town.

4 night's stay. No problems what so ever. Friendly staff. Clean room. Breakfast was okay. Was very quiet. Only problem I had was the charge a extra $25 per day if you use a debit card.

Thieves and apparently a staff with a negative IQ! I WILL NEVER BOOK A STAY AT ANY COMFORT INN AGAIN. After explaining I had a friendly 55# Golden Retriever, the front desk attendant told me dogs were allowed. They had a decent rate, reviews, green-space and location so I booked it. After a friend told me dogs were not allowed at Comfort Inns, I immediately called them again to double-check. I called 5+ days in advance and sure enough… NOT dog friendly; only 'service_dog' friendly. I requested a refund based on the fact I was given the wrong information. They refused to issue a refund. Their owner, the "Choice Hotels" brand will never get another penny from me. I'd give this "chain" a negative review if it were an option!

My stay here was enjoyable. My room was clean, and housekeeping was very attentive each morning they knocked on my door. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good. Not far from the freeway, a gas station is right up the street, and across from the hotel is a Waffle House. Also it's only about a 15 minute drive to downtown Memphis from the hotel. The only knock on my stay at Comfort Inn was the continental breakfast. It was just ok. The food selection was just like a regular continental breakfast, but the waffles tasted a little weird. Not sure if it was the waffle batter or what, but I took a few bites of the waffle and couldn't finish it. Besides that I would definitely come stay here again if I ever come back to Memphis.

Decent place to stay. Clean room. The breakfast variety was surprisingly delicious. We noticed the house keeping staff forgot to give us bath towels. We called the front desk informing her that we only had wash cloth no bath towels. She asked us to come to the front desk to pick up the towels. My suggestion: Upon arrival make sure you have bath towels.

I got sick and had to extend my stay, but the hotel was sold out, except for a spa suite! They were so concerned and accommodated me best they could to one right across the hall and even helped me move. I needed some milk long after breakfast was over and they were happy to help me. The maintenance man, who was there all day even checked on me a couple times. I was glad to have been there during my ordeal. Beautiful place, rooms were super clean, and the Jacuzzi was awesome once I was feeling better!

I thought the bed was a bit hard, but my daughter said it was fine. I'm used to a pillowtop, so maybe I'm just spoiled XD Staff is great, the room was excellent, but the pool is HOT! I mean like 100° HOT! The hot tub is cooler! I've never seen a pool like that before. Great place to stay, very quiet, the neighborhood was fine, kinda pit in the middle of nothing. A few other hotels nearby and a Waffle House across the street. Oh, the breakfast is good, too! 5 stars!

Omg Finally a really clean hotel Even with paying a $100.00 deposit because I didn't use my credit card The pool area was so relaxing with a hot tub to die for Bath tub was very clean with plenty of Clean white towels Breakfast could be a whole lot better Waffle Irons was not working such a disappointment Biscuits was so old I threw them away fast but they had Plenty of fruits… yoghurt… sausage gravy… Cereal… milk… Juice… bread was old too and the eggs looked good as well Not many places to eat at but A&W Wings place was superb but high high high I paid 7 dollars and some change for 5 Lemon pepper wings They was so good I forgot about the Price Its also a very nice Mexican restaurant my man loved with a burrito you can eat on for two days right by the hotel I felt very safe and welcomed The hotel itself is really beautiful Very reasonable price Room was Awesome and Customer service was pretty cool too Will stay again.

I don't write Google reviews often, generally only when I'm moved to do so. I had several issues with the cleanliness of my room at this hotel. The photos and reviews all looked wonderful, so I was a bit surprised. Most of the issues were found in the bathroom. The toilet seat had pee splattered on top of it, as if someone had used the toilet with the seat down and didn't wipe it off. The mirror in the bathroom also had water splatters on it, indicating it had not been wiped off since the last guest. It just really made me wonder, if things so obvious as the toilet seat and bathroom mirror were not cleaned before my stay, what other filth was I staying or sleeping in? The handle of one of the dresser drawers also fell off when I *touched* it. Not yanked on it, but grabbed it to open the drawer. This place was advertised as newly renovated, but it felt like they cut a lot of corners if that's the case. Things are obvious as ragged trim around the floor, shotty patch jobs on the walls and ceilings. Nothing about the place feels new. So no, I didn't grab my bags and walk out, and I got a decent deal on the room so I didn't go broke on this thing by any means, but I generally expect a clean toilet and bathroom surface, and what I walked into during my stay here didn't really have me feeling relaxed and at home.

This hotel is ok! The staff is friendly. The pool & hot tub is nice. But this hotel needs some serious refurbishing done. They gave me a broken coffee pot. The fridge barely works & seals. Handles in our room were about to fall off like the dresser drawer for example. Also went down to breakfast @ 9:20 (Saturday) & the food was empty & a lot of people asked "Do you have anymore breakfast until 10 as advertised? " The guy said we (a room full of people) were wrong & that it is 9:30. But it shows weekends are 10. What a shame!

Clean… nice rooms. Everything looks new… staff was very nice and accomodating… especially Anthony, the evening front desk person, and Tyrone, the man who took care of the breakfast, which was very good too… also, the indoor pool was nice and warm…

The check in person was amazing and funny. The room we got was non smoking and I guess the people before us didn't care. We got to switch rooms later though so it was all good. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but the area isn't my cup of tea.

Very polite and helpful employees. We got here early and they made great efforts to get us in a room and they succeeded in their efforts. Great job done by all employees from front desk to housekeeping. I would stay here again.

Nice private setting for couples looking to escape. The jacuzzi in our suite was the icing on the cake as it gave my wife and I much needed privacy to enjoy each other without other guests invading our space. Other than Wi-Fi going on/offline here and there, the staff was very courteous & professional.

The staff was amazing, I truly enjoyed them. Sweet folks, nice rooms, and a really pleasant experience.

The room was clean, comfortable, and staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay except the pool was dirty and hot tub needs updating. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool so that was a little disappointing. And the Wi-Fi was shotty. Regardless of that I would opt to stay here again.

I usually do not give 5 stars but this Comfort Inn I cannot complain about anything. I loved the Fitness Center *newer equipment* Hotel is also gated for security, huge plus!

Where do I begin? If you care at all about the quality of your hotel, read this review. I would not consider my standards unreasonable, but this hotel is in dire need of some better management practices. When you walk in, the hotel seems nice enough, but it doesn't take long to start seeing problems. The lobby floor was dingy and dirty. The elevator was filthy with cracked floor tiles. As soon as you get off the elevator you are hit with a strong mildew smell. The doors in the hall way all need to be refinished or painted. They look old and worn. We walked into our room, at 1:00am, and the mildew smell was even stronger. The carpet and bed linens all felt damp. Being as the whole floor smelled of mildew, there was little chance changing rooms would change the situation. It's clear the hotel has been "renovated" but it was either done in house or by a cheap contractor. Paint everywhere, holes in walls not patched, just painted over, carpet seams unraveling or not laid down properly, just a mess. Then, the toilet seat was cracked so you couldn't sit on the toilet without it pinching/biting you. Try to get some sleep anyway. Go down for breakfast and, even though it's a good 30 minutes before it closes, most of the food is gone. Orange juice was very watered down, the bread drawer was next to impossible to open, and the bagels were moldy.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was easy to get to from the highway. Breakfast was good and there were a lot of options. Beds were comfortable. There were some moisture issues, and the carpet in our room and the hallway was pretty wet, leading to a musty odor throughout the building.

My experience was outstanding! My two favorite people that really helped me and accommodated me and my relatives that was there for our family reunion was first and upmost Derrick at the front desk and TC at our continental breakfast. The bed was sooooo comfortable, I wish I could have taken it home with me. Very pleasant stay!

Let Me Start off by saying; the 4 different people I came across at the Front Desk & I believe their Janitor was Nice, Friendly, and accommodating! The 1st room that was assigned to us had and Funny Odor. So My Mom Sprayed some airfesh she bought with her! Later that morning when she processed to go to the bathroom she discovered and "Roach "! She woke me up to identify it and I took pics of it too send to Corporate office! Unfortunately by this time We inform the other ladies in the room with us. (Didn't Get Any Sleep) This all took place between 2am-4am! I Called/walked to the front desk to inform them of the situation. Shanna, immediately change our room. (She was Awesome) This was our first night experience, we were hoping to speak with Management later that Morning! … Two days went past without any Content from management (Ken Patel). I spoke with Ken to ask why & how this situation took 2day for a response! He give me an Lame Excuse. I've found (Ken Patel) Management to be Very Unprofessional! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH AN LACK OF RESPECT FOR ONE'S PATONS/CUSTOMERS! FYI! = I Posted A Photo of what seems to be a Baby Roach on the Website!

It has just been remodeled, very clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff is extremely accommodating. Having a shuttle from and to the airport is a major plus. LaConda at the front desk always treated us with a smile and assisted us anyway needed. She places her customer's satisfaction Fort's and foremost. We will return when returning to Memphis.

This one actually gets negative stars. I have stayed at Comfort Inns multiple times before this one. I booked this trip for my best friends 55th birthday. We had a group of 4 women. First off, the hotel came no where near the pictures listed here. The front desk staff and maintenance man were very accommodating and the best part of our 4 day stay. The first thing we noticed was the cloudiness of the hot tub. Our room had an unpleasant odor, luckily one of our party had room freshener with her! The room was not the cleanest. At about 3:30am, our birthday girl got up to use the bathroom, she discovered a ROACH! We immediately brought it to the front desks attention and the young lady changed our room. The 2nd room was cleaner and had no odor. After two days of TRYING to talk to the, according to the staff, Owner, I finally seen him leaving the front desk area and asked the front desk staff is that the owner? The staff replied yes. He, on the other hand, referred to himself as the manager. This person was completely condescending (downright offending) and stated he could not get in touch with me for follow up? You have my phone number AND I'm staying in your hotel, you could have left a message, put a note on the door, SOMETHING! He was completely unprofessional. He DID credit me that first night, BUT, when you mistreat a customer in this manner, it makes you think twice about choosing Choice Hotels Int. His lackadaisical manner is what prompted me to write this review.

Very friendly staff! Reginald was so helpful and a pleasure to be around. The rooms were tidy and very comfortable. I'll definitely be back.

People making all kinds of noise in the hall, people jumping around in room above mine, workers was rude, never will I stay there again.

Positives: Elisa and Reginald at the front desk were great! The breakfast guy was hilarious/rude, you had to have a sense of humor to get him lol.
Cons: Jazmon was NOT friendly nor helpful at all, she had an attitude my entire stay… I actually heard her say to another guest that she needed to get her attitude together… and YES it showed! I had to ask for a shower curtain 3 times (the first 2 times I asked Jazmon) before I finally received one from another employee within 5 minutes of me asking him (after waiting an hour and a half, we all took showers without one) The place is going through renovations but it was very nice. I would stay here again in the future but staff needs to be a bit more friendly and not have "attitudes" at work.
