It’s the closest place for out of town guests to stay. SO embarrassing! It stinks like musty mildew. The building & furnishings are from the 60’s. Run down. Mold/mildew in the bathrooms. Bed linens are from the 70’s. They need to remove all the carpet — its from the time when smokers were allowed to smoke anywhere & it still stinks. Who Ever has written a positive review of this hotel, had to be compensated or something! Wish someone could buy it & make it into a decent hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, and the pool was clean and fun. This is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you to the staff for being so wonderful during our stay.

Got the jacuzzi room and had to clean the tub before getting in. Had an old rickety chair in the room that smelled bad and looked like an eyesore. The staff was polite the breakfast was good.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. The price was good as well. Bed was amazing. The pool wasn't open yet for the season so I have no comment on that.

Americourts is consistently a great place to stay. The staff is wonderful, Teresa takes good care of their guests! We were welcomed with a warm smile and great service. We stay with them usually once a year and no where else is even considered.

Located nearby a furneral home we attended out of state. Management was friendly and the rooms were clean and efficient. 4/5 because the hallways smell like cat pee.

The beds are comfortable. But overall very poor quality. The bathroom is dirty the air conditioner doesnt work well. The landscaping is not kept clean.

Try checking in here and a 50 dollar deposit has to be paid on top of the room fee. They say one time pay with debit card and no deposit and then they say deposit does have to be paid. The website does not state paying a deposit.

Staff was very nice; the hotel seemed somewhat worn; but served its purpose. Would stay again.

Decent… Weekly rates and monthly rates are good. This is not the Radisson nor do they keep the torch on for you but It your not too picky, the price is right. Staff is always friendly.

The staff has been professional and accommodating in Elizabethton Tenn! Frequent travelers appreciate that!

I can't say enough about Teresa at the desk. She's amazing, super nice and went way out her way to make this a pleasant stay for us. The bed was so comfortable that my husband and I got a great night of sleep. The breakfast wasn't much. The room was clean. But the friendliness of the staff was the best of any hotel I've ever stayed at by far. This Americourt location will be the only place we stay when we come to town from now on!

Got barely into our nonsmoking room that smelled heavily of smoke, when we saw a giant COCKROACH run across the back of the door! Left immediately and will never recommend this place.

Stayed here on 7/31/17, for 6 hours. The hotel, smelled musty, had water damage from an above room. Door stuck, so getting out of room was difficult. The WORST of it all was ROCHES coming out of the outlets in the bathroom. (I took a picture, hoping to attach here, but could not). Left my email and phone number for the manager to call me… to date have not heard back! The "one" star is so this could be posted and save someone else the problems we had! Sleep in your car — — you would be safer! Jenn.

Staff is exceptional, rooms are clean except for few dust webs at ceiling. Breakfast is great, coffee, always on. Pool is, good size and parking is ample.

A very pleasant stay. The facility showed its age, but over all it is clean and fairly well maintained. We look forward to staying again!

From the minute You walk in the door it stinks like very old and dirty mold and cigarettes. The first floor smelled of cat urine. Our room was disgusting. Bathroom had black mold in the tub. Toilet had something dried all around the bowl. Exhaust fan did not work. Our beds had blood and urine stains allover the mattress. Linens were either dirty or in desperate need of replacement with stains. Had We of had another choice We would have left upon arrival and it is with certainty We will NEVER return!

Hotel smelled really bad. The rooms are outdated, dirty, cleaning lady would not clean our room or change our towels. We had to go in person and ask for them. Our first night that we stayed, our bag of snacks and some other items in the bag was taking by one of the cleaning lady while we were gone on our caving and hiking trip. She didn't even clean our room or did really anything to it. We called the front desk and mentioned that our bag was missing and the lady was not sure what we were talking about but she did mention that she will make a note of it. Well We never herd back from them again or got or bag back. Its a good thing that We didn't leave anything like expensive. We stayed there for 5 nights and we wish we paid extra to stay somewhere nicer to get a better service. We go to this arrea twice a year and it was our first time to try this hotel. We are never staying here again.

We went to walmart and bought a bottle of febreze to cover the smell… sprayed the room down and went and did laundry. Did not take a shower. The other motel in town is no better, we checked. The 2 stars are for the staff.

Small town hotel. Good enough for a rest & refit after coming off the Appalachian Trail, but, I'd drive further for a nicer hotel if I wasn't hiking. All that being said, the employees are extremely nice & accommodating. It does appear they are remodeling.

For the price it was a very good hotel. It was very clean, rooms did not have any bad smells or a smoking smell. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. The plumbing can be a little finiky with the shower sometimes because you sometimes have to wait a little while for the water to warm up but that just comes with an older building like this one. For the price very very good, would certainly recommend.

The rooms are spacy, clean, and without any bad odors. Breakfasts were excellent. The location is great — in a walking distance to a steakhouse, and with a reasonably long drive to the ski resorts. Ample parking space. There was some mold in the bathroom, but nothing dramatic.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and courteous and very accommodating. I'd give it five stars if the housekeeping staff wasn't so rude.

Our room was comfortable and the hotel was very peacfull throughout the night. The staff was friendly and helpfull.

My parents house burned down the americourt hotel gave them the Red Cross rate and offered to provide free clothing from some of the hotel staff they were also very helpful in giving them paper plates utensils and napkins to use for dinner the night that we came.

Some rooms are nice, some need attention. Like mine. Badly. Excellent service, nice people, would recommend. Decent rates, but still, so. E of the rooms needs to be updated and repaired.

It was just a headache. First, the lady tried telling me I couldnt stay there because I had recently moved to tennessee and changed my ID and she says locals arent allowed to stay. Then she agreed to just use my Arkansas ID and me and my 2yr old daughter just needed to stay 2 days until my apartment was ready and she charged us $270. The place was old and smelled like an attic or dust. Needed updated bad. Never stayed there again. Nothing I liked about it.

Overall stay has been good. Pet friendly. Good breakfast. The doors slam hard so thats a little annoying. Some of the staff has been very friendly and others have been standoffish. Beds were not super comfortable but better than the red roof inn we had previously stayed in. Clean place. Water pressure is kinda sucky. They keep the coffee out 24 hours but it is not kept fresh. There were people fixing their cars in the parking lot for days (mind you there is free space to do that next door). The hotel is close to nice restaurants and good places to eat. Like I said… overall it was a nice stay and I would stay here again especially for the price.

I loved my stay here the staff was very nice. I will be staying here again. Giles is super awesome. I got lost and he stopped what he was doing just to talk me in to the hotel.

Do not book the Americourt in Kingsport. We booked this for $240 for the Bristol motor speeway and it was disgusting. There were bugs in the bathroom, stains on the carpet and springs coming through the mattress. The room also reeked of alcohol and cigarettes. There were people drinking in the parking lot as well as fixing cars. This is normally a rent by the week motel but for races they try to rip fans off by renting at high prices. When we complained and asked for our money back from Expedia we were accused of stealing towels and refused a refund by the management (after we were told to our face it would be no problem). I would not have been able to sleep in this place. It needs to be condemned.
