This is my home away from home. The staff is fantastic and it is close to all types of eateries. Breakfast is always hot and fresh.

Clean, comfortable and nice staff. Great views out of the back!

Breakfast bar featured a very nice assortment, however the scrambled gesso were over cooked If you need a place to stay I would highly recommend this hotel.

We got there and my husband took the kids to the pool right away while I did laundry from the first leg of our trip. Front desk lady was really rude and acted annoyed anytime I asked for anything… quarters for washer, plastic forks since our take out food didn’t have any, etc. Got ready to go to bed and I noticed a stain on the sheet that didn’t seem like one that wouldn’t wash out… since it was late I tried to ignore it, slept on top of covers. Next day in the bathroom I happened to notice used soap in the soap dish. We had plans that day for early so I didn’t get a chance to complain before we left… came back to the room that night… found some dog food on the floor. That was it. I went down to complain. I was told there was no housekeeping there, was given clean sheets to change my own bed! While changing it I noticed a stain on the duvet cover… went down and asked for a clean one of that too… was told there was no extra blankets and they had nothing to give me. Person at desk tried to call manager, told me to speak to her the next morning. So I did… she told me since I didn’t complain right away there was nothing she could do. Do not stay at this location! Rude staff, unclean conditions.

One of my favorite places to stay, some issues in the beginning, but the last few times I've stayed here absolutely excellent!

Everything about this stay has been wonderful. A HUGE reason for this goes to Misty and Betsy going above and beyond with the handling of our reservation and continuation past our original days. Cleanliness surpassed many holiday inn expresses I’ve stayed in. Even the breakfast bar being the old version vs the new roll out version was very fresh and didn’t have that steam table taste like most do.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are in the area and it has a wonderful staff who are helpful and fun to be around. The breakfasts are wonderful and the rooms are comfortable. The pool is well kept and the workout room is easily accessible. I was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. I hope you will consider this wonderful home away from home on your next vacation get away!

Beds are very comfy rooms are clean and fairly big property is new staff is helpful and friendly. There is truck parking but limited and decked sets have to park at Shoney’s across the street and limited to only one or two with prior manager approval. Your Peterbilt Transporter Guy.

Very good, clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast was Holiday Inn great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Only problem was no ice in the morning.

We had 2 large clean rooms. The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Will book stays here in the future!

I would give this place 0 stars but it is not allowed. A night staff worker, who had been told in person AND in writing that I would be arriving late, put a "no vacancies" sign on the door. Even though I had a reservation and the manager had told him personally that I was arriving late, this worker decided he "was very tired and didn't feel like being bothered", and refused to honor my reservation or the instructions he received. When I demanded that he prove there was no evidence of a written note (I didn't know about Betsy telling him in person at this time), he became angry and picked up the phone and said he was going to call 911! Needless to say, I am a black woman and he was a white man. The manager Betsy is great and tried her best (I feel) to apologize for her worker and make things 'right'. My only request at that moment was an apology from the night worker who had blatantly disrespected me. It has been 10 days and I have not heard from the worker at all. In addtion, he had the nerve to charge my credit card as a 'no-show'! Betsy reversed the charges, however, I am also shocked that he is allowed to stay on his job after such an egregious diversion of their mission, and his admission that he could not do his job.

One of the loudest places I've ever stayed in… Doors slamming at all hours of the day and night. I will NEVER stay here again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! P S I wouldn't give this place one star but that's the lowest star I could go.

The NA lady was very rude when we walked in at 11:30pm. She didn't recognize me as an IHG Platinum Member and did not offer any kind of welcome amenities. We got to our room to sleep and the beds/pillows were hard. The coffee pot maker did not work and when we asked for a new one, the front desk agent said she will put a new one in for the next guest. The shower was extremely cold at 8am Saturday morning. We went to look at the breakfast buffet at 8:45 and everything was already gone. We went to eat at a local restaurant for dinner and our waitress heard where we were staying and laughed because she knew what kind of hotel this was. By far my worst experience at an IHG hotel! We will definitely not be back to this one!

Absolutely amazing the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, it has recently been remodeled i'll never forget the beautiful spiral stair case it had but it is still very beautiful. The Jacuzzi in the room me and my husband had was amazing and relaxing! the Manager Betsy was very sweet and made sure we were comfortable with our stay and the night girl Laura was wonderful as well. We will definitely be coming back to stay soon!

We stay at Holidays Inns frequently and have never had an issue. This Holiday Inn downgraded our room without saying a word. They didn't, however, decrease the price. Not one person at the hotel bothered to apologize. At this point, we still haven't seen a price adjustment. The hotel staff and IHG assured us the Manager would be calling us. She has not. We are IHG Platinum members. I understand things happen and rooms change, but to overcharge someone and never offer an apology is incredibly poor customer service.

Pool wasn't open Gym had broken equipment… WONDERFUL staff. Not as usually expected from this company.

Rooms we large and decorated with a cozy feel. Tons of fluffy pillows and a cozy, comfy comforter. Staff was very pleasant.

Even though our Reservations were wrong they worked with us. I would defiantly stay here again. We had our dog with us and we never felt like that was a problem, in fact they welcomed him warmly.

Right off the highway which is a plus and the location is great for getting around the area. The room is clean and everything works. Only negative is parts of the hotel could stand to be replaced and/or updated. Some of the doors on the exterior are in rough shape and the faucets in the bathroom are starting to show their age. Either way I would recommend staying here.

Stopped on our way thru town for the night. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was just off the interstate. Only problem was the noise caused by the people across the hall. They let their kids run around the hotel and bang on the door til about 11. But since we said nothing the hotel can't be blamed.

Stayed here for 3 days for work. Pros — Nice big rooms, cable, Wi-Fi, breakfast, gym. Staff was friendly and helpful CONS — Toilet and shower had weak water pressure. Drains were clogged. Pancakes taste like rubber. Carpet in rooms need to be replaced. I would stay here again but wouldn't be my first choice.

Clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not very good, no bacon and sausage was dry.

Coffee available 24/7 is a major plus. Fantastic location with a nice restaurant right across the street. The back area is nice to relax at, with a view overlooking the Smoky Mountains.

Dining area was too small. Large dogs stayed there and were loud after quiet hours. People were hanging out front (staff? ) and were loud even after 11 pm. Room was nice and clean.

Got food poisoning from breakfast bar my first day. The staff was all very nice, and the cleaning people asked if I needed anything each time they saw me. The owners hovered to monitor use of copier and fax. Pretty petty, considering I stayed at hotel two weeks and needed to utilize business services at hotel. The nearest FedEx office store is a half hour drive away, and closed on nights and weekends.

On July 11, 2017 I checked in to this hotel because my car was broke down. The front desk and maintenance went way beyond their duty to assist me with my car repair and helping to ensure my family wasn't displaced due to over-booking. The maintenance staff took me to auto parts stores for auto parts and anything else I needed. They really where concerned for the well being of my family and I and I cannot ever repay them for how much their hospitality meant to me at a time when it was needed most. Highly recommended in my book. Thanks again guys.

We had a great overnight stay here at the Holiday Inn Express in Dandridge NC. Nice room, helpful staff, good breakfast, and designated areas for our pup.

Newly remodeled! Everything in our room looks brand new. Friendly and helpful staff. Ask for rooms facing South to get a great view of the Smoky mountains.

Pros — Nice room, good location, some staff members were very knowledgeable and helpful. Cons — Door to room was not latched when we checked in, which was concerning. Called to front desk for sheets for foldout sofa bed, when they were delivered I was told "there isn't a pillow", and I had to ask for a blanket because it wasn't brought up with the sheets. Went to breakfast next day, server was told by another guest that people wanted more sausage, eggs, and pancakes, server said "oh no, it's too close to quitting time" and stood in front of food (it was 15 minutes before end of service). We asked if we could at least eat what WAS available, server said yes and continued standing in front of food. We then asked if she would be able to move over so we could get to it. After eating what was left, my party all had stomach issues, so we did not eat it the following day. We didn't have a door sign to indicate we didn't want housekeeping to enter our room, so we asked the front desk who assured us they would let housekeeping know to skip our room. When we returned that evening, our room had been cleaned and one bed had been made (but not the other bed). While I WOULD stay here again, I would definitely skip the breakfast and make certain you are given a door sign if you don't want housekeeping to enter. Bring an extra pillow & blanket if you are getting a foldout sofa bed since they may not have one to give you!

The staff was a delight. The remodel is finished and it is wonderful. I will definitely stay again. Would suggest you check out one of the mini suites. If you can believe it a fireplace ND balcony. Loved it.

Ok here goes: I wait at check in while the desk clerk finished a call. She greeted me by sticking her finger in her ear, wiggled it around and says Hi Oh my god my ear itches. She then informs me that every red neck in the state is there for football NASCAR or fishing. She finished by telling me breakfast is included and ends at 9:30, but if I want any food I better be there by 8:30! Ok I should have seen what was coming next. Here's a list of problems with the room. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The remote and the t. V. Didn't work. There was an old container of food in the refrigerator. When the bathroom sink faucet was turned on water leaked out onto the counter. When I tried to take the hairdryer from the holder on the wall the whole thing fell off the wall onto the wet counter. There are only a dozen parking spaces in the front of the building so I had to park in the rear. The rear entrance sign stated the door could only be opened with a card but it was wide open and wouldn't lock. Oh yeah I called the management at 9:00pm and reported the problems. They offered to look at my t. V. But I was ready for bed and didn't want to get redressed so maintenance could do the job that should have been done before I paid for the room. My bill was left under my door with no adjustments or a note. Goodbye Holiday inn express.

Can't stay on the phone on hold all night, that's why the Super 8 got my money instead of you losers. Take your time, just don't take mine!

Reserved a suite. Front desk person was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice! Love that they still offer smoking rooms, very rare these days and a huge convenience.

Rooms and service were great. Beds were very uncomfortable.

Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the automatic pancake maker was very cool. Never seen that before. Cons: The work out room was tiny. The hallways and rooms smelled like heavy smoke. The room was outdated.

Friendly staff. Stay at many holiday inns as I am a member. The room was not up to $100 a night standards but rather a $50 hotel. Only have an outdoor pool, the room had paint and drywall removed in bathroo, lampshade in room torn almost shredded, all the doors were damaged as well as the furniture.

Very Nice Hotel! Stayed one night and enjoyed a clean rrom and a VERY good breakfast and good coffee. I would stay again.

I'm single woman and traveling alone. There was no parking in front of hotel therefore I had to park in back. I have no problem with that but it would be nice if lights were on. The parking lot is very dark. It's not just one set of lights out but two sets of lights out. Really want to bring to management's attention because it's not safe for the guest.

My wife and I reserved a room with Holiday Inn Express in Dandridge TN specifically because they show up as "Pet Friendly. " We drove an extra 20 miles just because of this. When we arrived the desk clerk told us that if we had a pet we would have to pay an extra $50 that was non-refundable for having a pet. That didn't seem too pet friendly to us. This was not disclosed anywhere on the IHG site where we booked the room. We tried to reason with the desk clerk but she was very snooty and told us that was non-negotiable — if we wanted to stay there we would pay the $50. She further went on to tell my wife that if we took the dog in without paying they would charge us $500. When are we going to get to the "Pet Friendly" part.

I spent one night at this Holiday Inn at a rate of $175 with tax for a suite. The jacuzzi would not work and when I called down to report it, she said well that is the first time in 3 years I have worked here that I have heard that. I said well it is not working nonetheless. She said she would get ahold of maintenance and I had not heard anything by the time I checked out the next day. The Wi-Fi was off more than it would stay on. Never again.

The Holiday Inn Express in Dandridge, TN is outstanding! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The customer service was stellar. When I settled into my room, I realized after a while that the heat wasn't working. I told Samantha at the front desk. She immediately stopped what she was doing and came to the room with me to make sure I was flipping the right switches. The heat was not working properly. Within 5 minutes, I was in a new room. She upgraded me to a suite with a Jacuzzi and a fireplace without telling me, she just gave me the room key. When I went back down to thank her, she smiled and said she wanted to surprise me. This young lady knows what customer service is.

I called the hotel this morning, as I'm planning a wedding nearby and was looking for a place to recommend for my guests. When I talked to a manager, I was told that booking 10 rooms would be $89 a night, even though booking one room online is $79 a night. I'm pretty sure that most places give you DISCOUNTS when booking group rooms instead of making the price HIGHER. I called the Hampton Inn nearby and got the discount I was hoping to get for my guests, so I definitely will not be referring anyone to the Holiday Inn Express.

The mattresses in these Holiday Inn Express in Dandridge TN rooms are not up to Holiday Inn standards. Compared to the Holiday Inn Express in Kodak, TN just ten miles away, these mattresses suck. I would like a refund of my room charge. I stay at Holiday Inn because I sleep better than at Best Western or Motel 6. I expect a consistent quality of mattress between hotels that use the same brand identity. I contacted the front desk but they were unable to resolve. Please credit my account promptly. I spend $12, 000 per year / $1, 000 per month on hotels as I travel often. This experience is causing me to rethink my affinity for Holiday Inn Express brand preference.
