Starting out kinda crappy. You can tell they recently updated the flooring, paint and maybe the sheets. The rest of the furniture is outdated and the room smells. The closest doesn’t close either. Oh well. Its cheap though. The shower was very weird. It was a typical handle to turn the water on, but to turn on the shower you had to pull down on a ring that was at the primary water spout. It was the strangest thing I had seen. Well, the next morning just brought the rating from 2 to 1. The floor by the A/C was wet, so we had to block off the area so our toddler couldn’t go over there. We all woke up with stuffy noses. The breakfast was a typical Wyndham, but with a waffle iron. Breakfast was pretty crappy. At least it was free. It included waffles, instant eggs, sausage patties, Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, white bread/toast, individually wrapped muffins, orange juice, apple juice and coffee. We aren’t juice drinkers, so we typically only drink water. The only water was from the water fountain. This normally isn’t a huge deal, except this water was hot. It wasn’t warm or room temperature. It was actually hot. You had to pour the cup and then let it come to room temperature before drinking. It wasn’t a great experience.

First room smelled like cat pee and then when I tried to leave the room the door handle came off and I was trapped in the room. Managed to escape. Second room smelled better but ran out of toilet paper, no Kleenex, ice bucket had hairs and bugs in it. Dead cricket on floor and a piece of sausage? from someone's old pizza. Employees were friendly. Breakfast was warm and good but find something better!

A friend's tip: close the motel and set everything on fire to disinfect the area.
I've never seen such a dirty, smelly place.
How do the authorities keep you open? We would need a health inspection to get you shut down I hope I don't take any parasites in the hours I pass here.
For all those who want to stop to sleep next door there is another motel would seem much better sleep erding you pay them something extra but save health.

Room was not what it said it was and when u opened the door there was a bad smell plus bugs walking on the floor and no hot water it was luke warm at best so ill never stay here ever again. Staff was polite the 2 queen bed room are actually full size beds and not very comfortable at all, bed spreads had burn holes in them and red thread holding some of the quilts together rooms need updating badly.

Horrible. No toilet paper. The shower didn't drain, no light bulbs in any of the lamps and there was a really bad smell. Beds were not comfortable. Roach problem. The only thing nice about this place was the pool and the tv.

I'm very simple and easygoing and so is my boyfriend. We were taking an overnight trip and just needed a little place to stay, nothing fancy. However, We get there and the room reeked of cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. I check the bathroom: no toilet paper, and the worst thing that made me get a refund was that there was SPOILED ROTTEN MILK in the fridge from someone else. I almost threw up, I didn't even want to sit on the bed. I'm not a picky person but this was absolutely disgusting. We got our money back, don't stay here.

If I were looking for a motel this would be it. I thought Howard Johnson's were way better than this. My room looked like someone had been in a fight, was not cleaned, 5 of us stayed and got only two towels. Pictures depict the status of our room. Just gross. If I could rate this a 0 I would.

It was really dirty. We found toys under the table. It looked like someone smeared feces under the toilet paper roll. There was a big glow of something on the hairdryer cord.

The indoor pool is unusable, it is filled in with dirt which is baffling on how the dirt was put in there as the windows do not open and there is no big door to the outside. After we checked in we inspected the room, bulbs missing out of some of the lamps, no tissue holder in the bathroom, and bolts missing from chair that could have been a bad injury if someone sat in it, and the AC did not have the indicator panel to know what to set it on. We told the owner, and had to leave for a few hours, when we returned nothing had changed, we then went and spoke to the evening clerk which put us in another room that was satisfactory. Also if you want breakfast be there in the lobby at a little after 6 am, as the obese guest will eat several helpings and you won't get any breakfast at all as it happened to my wife and I.

We are driving from Houston to New York and needed a place to rest for the night. I posted pictures of things I noticed in our room. It's filthy, from top to bottom. It was 1 am when we arrived. If we weren't exhausted and desperate for rest we would demand a refund and find someplace else. I will say that there is a sign saying they are under new management and I see rolls of carpet outside, as well as other evidence of possible renovations. So, maybe we just lucked out and got one of the rooms still on the list to be renovated.

Hotel is under new management and the staff is very nice. Room was clean and comfortable but could use an update. Price was reasonable. This was my second time staying at this Howard Johnson.

This is our third time staying here. It's always clean, quiet area. Rooms are a bit outdated however they have been working on that. Staff is always helpful. Great bargain. Will keep returning.

Heat doesn't work. It's 30 degrees out. Called front desk. No portable heater. No one to fix it. No other room available. REALLY? I understand that the room is cheap. But heat is a must have.

We stayed on a decently cold night, The room was absolutely freezing when we arrived, like see-your-breath-indoors cold… And the heater sounded like there was a diesel engine in the the actual room. It also took hours to warm up. No cots available for 5th young guest, and barely given extra blankets. Otherwise the room was decently cleaned, and Breakfast was good!

We stayed for 2 nights in a jacuzzi room. The room was clean and the bed had clean sheets. We only had 2 full sized towels, 2 hand towels and 1 wash cloth. With it being a jacuzzi room we found that odd. The jacuzzi needed a good thorough scrub, which I did before getting in. The jets didn't work so it was essentially a warm 2 person bath that we were able to watch TV in. The bathroom is waaaay small. My knees touched the wall when I sat on the toilet. It was a smoking room so we expected an odor however it wasn't bad — — my ashtmatic husband didn't have any issues. Check in was pleasant. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we chose to sleep in on our vacation. In summation… For being available last minute on New Year's Eve and clean and comfortable, I won't complain. However I feel like they shouldn't advertise jacuzzi rooms when they don't work. It's an older hotel… Don't expect posh amenities or anything. But it'll do for a cheap reasonable place to stay for a night or two.

Showed up after reserving a room for the night and it was a mess. The beds were messy and had bugs on them and the bathroom had used towels and shampoo all over. Horrible way to show up to a room. Especially when you're on a road trip with the flu.

Nice stay for the price had a leak in the bathroom floor but it wasn't big and the breakfast was nice.

Rooms look nothing like pictures. Maybe 10 years ago. As basic as it gets. Breakfast was not eatable. Staff was friendly. Location seemed safe. Bed was comfortable enough. Would not stay again just because of conditions are sub par.

Rooms are very spacious however staff is very rude. We had an overnight stay and our air conditioning was broken, they did nothing to help us. Also the next morning around 9:30 they knocked on our door wanting to know when we would be leaving. Check out is at 11, they continued to bother us until we left. Find another motel please.

Room keys never work. Attendents barely speak english. Terrible breakfast. Tons of roaches in the room. And the carpet is sticky. The beds are covered in mystery stains. But its cheap.

The rooms smell very musty. The sheets felt damp. There was all kinds of dust in the room the cleaning staff need to pull the stuff away from the walls and clean. The room had a inch plus gap at the bottom of the door. The staff was very nice and helpfull. I guess you get what you pay for.

The staff were VERY nice, but the accommodations were not great. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and cigarette burns on the comforter of one of the beds. Also, the fresh towels felt a little damp which was a little disconcerting. My teenage daughter saw a bug somewhere in the room. However, the beds were clean and bug free and it was quiet. I was able to sleep fairly well even though my daughter wasn't. Overall, I wouldn't dissuade you from going there if you're looking for a cheap room, but I wouldn't actively recommend it. Just know what you're getting into for the cheaper price. This location has super easy access to I24. Also, beware of following Google maps too closely because it wanted to send me past the parking lot and down a wooded road.

When we got there the room was so hot we had to wait a good while before the cool down so we can go in the service was friendly but the rooms could use some serious cleaning. If it wasn't so late we would have went to another hotel.

The hotel has the basics and seemed fairly clean, however nothing spectacular. I've stayed at nicer hotels at the same price point. The hotel seemed understaffed and when we got to our room the toilet paper roll was practically empty and there was no extra roll. When we called to get more sent to the room we were told we would have to come get it. When we got there it took 20 minutes to be helped due to a couple other people being checked in. I probably would not stay there again.

The hotel staff was alright. They didn't give us 3 towels even when we asked, this happened twice. And it only got worse. The breakfast is nothing too special, and the coffee was absolutely terrible. But the food was okay. The room was pretty nice until you looked a bit closer. We suspected the sheets were dirty, we found bugs in the bathroom and a bug ON MY PILLOW! The ice machine was broken, and the room it was stored in was leaking so much water in so many places, you'd think it was a shower. One of our rooms keys didn't work, but that wasn't a big issue. They have an outside pool that we didn't try out but it looked clean from the outside, and it even had a chair lift for people with disabilities to get in the pool. The best part of the hotel was the internet, surprisingly.

If your looking to party this is the right place for you. If your traveling and passing through and need a place to rest KEEP GOING, DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm traveling with 3 small children and have 10 more hours to drive and had no sleep due to the boys with their bud lights hanging out outside my door and the screaming girls down at the pool. Not only that, the rooms are not the best either. I'm praying that when I checked the beds that the fitted sheet was put on wrong and not just turned over and made to look like a clean sheet. I do not recommend this place for a good night sleep or relaxing but if your looking to be loud and obnoxious and party all night, this is for you.

Rooms were great. Service was great knew the local attractions, eateries. The continental breakfast was not the best I've had, but the staff and the rooms were too notch.

The staff was nice. The breakfast was inedible so you should ignore the breakfast offering unless you want to have the cereal or cheep bagel. The shower/bath had a broken shower function and the light didn't work for the desk in the room. Also there was a bit of hair in the tub and the space ac was so loud it gave me dreams that I was sitting in front of an amplifier that was belting out feedback. If I hadn't been so tired I wouldn't have been able to sleep well. On the good side it was only 50 bucks and there was a mini fridge and microwave.

This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever experienced. My husband and I paid approximately $150/night. When we arrived after we could no longer cancel reservations to receive money back, we discovered that they are currently under renovation, which is fine. We got up to our room and it was upgraded, but the mattress was extremely hard and there was 4 flat pillows. As I walked around with no socks in our recently renovated room, my feet were black from how dirty the floors were. They must not have ever been mopped! We froze during the night and there was no extra blankets anywhere in the room. The next day, I went down to get a drink from the drink machine and the drink machine took the $2.00 I deposited and didn't give me a drink. No problem, I'll just go down to the front desk and get a refund. I walked around to the front desk and told her what had happened. She said that she cannot give me a refund, and she guessed that's why they have machines indoor in the lobby since they aren't responsible for the drink machines outside. Sadly we have only been at this hotel for 24 hours and have another night to stay. Do yourself a favor and find yourself another place to stay!

The room was nice. My only complaint is the AC didn't work which made it hard to sleep.

VERY dirty. Carpet is badly stained, bedspreads covered in dark, large dirt stains, bathroom extremely dirty, including "drips" all over toilet seat, rim, and floor. Ring around the bathroom tub, spots on comforter, dirt smudges on door, bugs crawling on walls, smears on mirror… did anyone even clean in here?

Here for the night. Had an online reservation… Got in late and it was canceled… But the receptionist was very welcoming. And helped re activate our stay… Nice clean room compared to the one we stayed in yesterday… The room was is clean and fresh. Happily recommend this pet friendly stay…

Room grungy, found out no shower function in the morning, asked for Senior or military discount, none given, when I told receptionist at counter said she would have manager call me. Still waiting.

Bed bugs! Stay away at all costs. The owner tells me there going to have the health department do an investigation and let me know the results in few day. Then rented the same room that day. Had to go to breakfast at his other property next door. Don't waist a dime there.

Smell pretty bad, not clean at all, curtain shower smells like haven't been clean for years, we have to change of hotel without refund our money.

The room were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast included waffles, eggs, and sausage. However, the room did have a foul odor. We only stayed for the night and it was decent. The staff was very nice and hard working. I would definitely stay here again.

Beware. Booked online having good prior experiences @ quality inns. Was offered 2 non smoking rooms — the first tore up carpet musty mildewed cig burns dingy linens, the second better musty cig burns. $39 a nite is too much. Go next door comfort suites.

I woke up to ants all in my bed and the room the vent fan in the bathroom was noisy it was not worth the price that we payed to stay.

Hotel was reasonably priced but not a very clean hotel at all. We asked for a king room and the only clean room they had was room 111 with a jacuzzi said they would give it to us for 90. Thought we had a deal till we opened the door. First thing you noticed was 2 burn holes right on the top of the bed comforter. No one including staff or cleaning ladies could have missed it! Right in the center of the bed! Then the mirrors surrounding the jacuzzi haven't been touched. Scum all around the base and dried looking dirty stuff all over the mirrors! Stuff that couldn't have been overlooked.

Really liked this hotel! We stayed with 2 dogs and a toddler and it was very pleasant. Our room was very roomy with plenty of space for all of us to move around. There is a nice big grassy lot right beside the hotel for the dogs. The pool was nice. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The rooms opened right into the parking lot and you can park right in front of your room. There is a gas station right in front of the hotel and a McDonald's beside it. There are stores (Wal-Mart) nearby that are easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Horrible but clean. However mold in the coffee pot was gross. Stayed two days and room was never cleaned. Patel owned so no customer service.

BEWARE, CHECK YOUR ROOM AND EVERYTHING WITHIN, REMOVE THE PILLOW CASES AND SHEETS — LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE SLEEPING ON! THEY DON'T CARE AND IT SHOWS! This Place is absolutely Disgusting, We got a room and when we examined it for cleanliness we were shocked to find that all pillows were stained nasty yellow like they have been peed on, The bed had what looked to be fecal and urine stains on both sides of the mattress, not to mention cigarette burns everywhere. We went to the front desk about the issue and we were given another room — Same thing — just add a woman's period stain to the mattress, I will be calling the health department, the city, And Choice Hotels about this issue, we were also charged $170 instead of the $68.99 we were told the room would cost — Funds are supposed to be refunded however I have filed for a charge back just in-case. Beware, check your room and everything within, remove the pillow cases and sheets — look at what you are sleeping on! they don't care and it shows! be sure to tell them you don't want to sleep like that and write your review here. Road side Motel, good, clean, have coffee, refr. Micro wv. Pretty clean. Good family overnite stay. Good place.

My son and I only reserved a room for one night. I agree with another visitor that the pictures online do not do the rooms justice. We stayed a two room queen bed room. Needless to say the beds were full size and the room was dirty. We got there 10 minutes before check in and they were cleaning the room. Positives. Hdtv and hot and cold water. Negatives when I got up the next morning I had bites of something all over my left side. Felt something crawling on my arm and looked and it was a FLEA. Outlets were pulled out of the wall and the fridge even on the highest number was less than cold. On next trip to Chattanooga I am definitely staying at this hotel. If a hotel is pet friendly they should address the FLEA issues of animals.
