The rooms are very nice and comfortable. I love the adjustable shower head. The view of Cove Lake and the mountains is spectacular. The alpacas are not something you see every day at a hotel. The breakfast is great. My daughter loves all the waffle toppings.

My husband and I made this an overnight trip so we could visit Cove Lake State Park. We loved this motel! It was clean, updated, and comfy. The room may be small by some standards, but it was in no way cramped, and we kept exclaiming over the smart use of the space, with sliding shelves in the bathroom and a nook for hanging clothes. The pool was clean and warm and we had it all to ourselves; the lamas behind the property were quite entertaining as we swam about and watched them (and they watched us! ) We loved the coffee and herbal tea always available in the lobby and the evening cookies were yummy. We ate them while sitting in the ski lift rockers overlooking the lake. We slept in our only morning here and my husband insisted there would only be bread and shriveled up fruit left for breakfast but haha he was wrong! There was a full spread, including eggs (scrambled and boiled), sausage, potatoes, etc etc. The history of the motel was really interesting to me (a leather jacket with a bullet hole?! ) And there was even a resident kitty who followed us around outside to add to the charm of this place. It might be a corporate establishment, but it is run by hospitable people who clearly care about their guests.

This was a great hotel! Neat layout… great beds, great linens. They have great soaps. The housekeepers are sweethearts and the front desk is kind. The pool is great. There are mountain view rooms. It feels fresh and clean yet cozy. The breakfast was wonderful! Actually the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. And the location was exactly what we needed. We will stay here again!

Beautiful place. Nice pool and views. The bathroom doors don't lock, which makes things difficult when staying over with young kids.

Hotel was clean and the room was very nice. Guests can always be too loud and let their doors slam, but it wasn't bad at all. Breakfast was decent with lots of options.

Hampton Inn has become our roadside hotel of choice. This one did not disappoint. The included breakfast was better than "usual". The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

I stayed here for a week for work. I absolutely love it, beds are comfortable, the shower has great pressure, and all of the staff that I talked to were as friendly as could be. They also have little swings on the side of the building were you can sit and have a little overlook of the area. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Bed was a mess wet with Windex by the smell. Killed spiders in the am. Desk clerk was a disorganized mess. Avoid. Beautiful area but nasty hotel.

Love this place. Amazing views. Plenty of chairs and tables putside. To enjoy a cup of coffee.

We always stay their on our way and back from Florida. Their rooms are always clean and the staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast is good to.

This place is amazing… another great stay at the Hampton Inn. We stayed here on our way to Florida and again on our way home to Michigan… most accommodating… the hot breakfast is perfect and if they don't have what you need or want they will go get it for you with a smile! The rooms are clean and neat. The viewing from the top of the hill is breathe taking… thank you for everything… we will definitely be back.

Our favorite hotel to stay for a night on our way to Florida from Michigan. The view is great, and the alpacas are fun to watch. There is a beautiful hike nearby called Devil's Racetrack. Makes for a great leg stretcher after a day in the car.

We love this hotel. Have stayed there, numerous times. Along with many new updates, it retains its unique personality. Beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Friendly atmosphere.

6 pm fresh cookies are put out. Great view of the mountains. Has a pool and workout room but the bathrooms in the room are just sliding doors. So not completely sound proof. And my 1 year old had a great time sliding the door while it was in use!

What a nice find. The bed was really comfortable, the room very clean and the morning breakfast (especially the biscuits and gravy) tasted great. Our room had a great view of the surrounding mountains with a balcony to hang out on and take it all in. We will definitely return to this hotel if we are in the area.

Amazing hotel. Rooms were very clean and bright. Decor was fantastic and the beds were perfect. Very surprised to find such a great hotel off of I75. Highly recommended!

It was clean, had a surprisingly good breakfast. The bathroom door in our specific room had no lock but thats not a problem for most. Overall very clean and well run hotel.

Had a great stay here last year. Stayed for a week and the staff was very helpful. The old cats are great and the lamas out back we're fun to watch.

This hotel was a great place to stay. Lovely room even has a fireplace! Located on the mountainside the view is gorgeous and peaceful. The staff is friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, but the dining room was clean and welcoming. There's not much near the hotel in terms of food or variety. But the room has a microwave and fridge.

One of the nicest motels we have stayed at. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Best complimentary breakfast we’ve ever gotten. Friendly staff. Pleanty of parking if your riding the trails. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

INSPECT THE BATHROOM AND COMMODE BEFORE YOU UNPACK! First of all… a BARN DOOR on the bathroom? Who's idea was that? Almost no privacy and virtually no barrier to sounds and smells. If you're a male, some important parts are going to be soaking in that toilet bowl. Pretty disgusting. Please install commodes for ADULTS. Bad move Hampton Inn.

Maybe it's just compared to the hotel hell I suffered in Indianapolis, but this hotel is basically heaven. The rooms are gorgeous, the views are gorgeous, everything is incredibly clean, the staff are nice and bonus some of them have adorable southern accents. There are llamas grazing on the hillside in front of the hotel and seeing the sunset from one of their swings in the parking lot is amazing. The only thing I'd warn anyone of is that the bathroom door lets a lot of sound through and doesn't close very well, so if it'd be awkward for whoever you're traveling with maybe ask if that's a problem in all of the rooms. Either way you shouldn't let it deter you much. Come here. It's amazing. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Amenities were just fine. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was a little short with us when we arrived to check in and she did not have much patience for us tourists throughout our stay as we asked for restaurant recommendations and what not. The Continental breakfast was subpar… but if you're looking for a place to sleep and see an amazing sunset this is the spot. They've even got llamas and some historical artifacts!

This was an above average hotel. The rooms were what you would expect — — nice, but not extravagant. They provide breakfast, which was also good. The location was pleasant and relaxing.

More than just a good night's sleep in a comfy bed. The hotel is impeccably clean & offers outside sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful mountain view. Franchise location features some of the families history which is interesting. Llamas roam the hills behind the hotel which is an added feature. Complimentary breakfast starts the day off right.

We love this place and have been staying here for four years on trips between Florida and Ohio. Hilton made them change their decor recently and it took the quirky desirability away. Sad.

Stopped here just to get off the road, and I'm so happy I did! Had a great room with a spectacular view. I would come back to Caryville just to stay here again. The room had a good sized balcony overlooking the water, and part of the smokey mountains. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful views. Lots of fun, unique decorations. Wish I could have stayed longer. Skip the sketchy neighborhoods of the hotels south of here, and stay in this resort quality hotel!

The ONLY thing nice about this place was the beautiful view we had the next morning. So a few people said they got renovated rooms, well obviously we didn't. Our room number was printed on computer paper and stuck to the door with tape. When we got into the room it was very humid and nasty the restroom was gross there was a ring around the inside of the tub.

Very nice, recently renovated room! Clean! … but was disappointed with the breakfast, stayed in a $60 a night Hotel that did breakfast better than this.

Everything about this hotel is awesome. Everyone at the hotel is so kind and hospitable. The hallways are basically a museum which showcases local as well as national history by the pictures and newspapers on the walls. The hotel is being renovated and has given the hotel and lobby a new modern look. The clean rooms, reasonable rates, great breakfast, exceptional hospitality, and over all fantastic location of the hotel make this hotel a must visit for anyone wanting to rest. This hotel is truly unique. The owner always greets guests at breakfast and is eager to talk to everyone. My only complaint is not directed towards the staff or management of the hotel but towards the corporates at Hampton's headquarters who wish to make this hotel like all their others. It is to their direct benefit to keep all the memorabilia intact to keep this Hampton Inn among the highest rated in the nation. I like to always use the slogan, "if it ain't broke don't fix it", and the Hampton Inn in Caryville, TN is anything but broken!
