An inexpensive hotel with clean rooms, Queen size beds with new linen, and a great breakfast and a pleasant staff. An amazing find.

We arrived last night, Saturday night, the staff was really nice. It smelled good compared to the Quality in in Kingsport. The housekeeping staff was really nice today also. Breakfast was decent. The beds were comfortable, we all slept well.

Extremely irritated with this hotel. Checked in and found out that while the hotel is pet friendly they only allow pets on the first floor and in specific rooms. Booked a whirlpool room only to find out that they are not pet friendly rooms. Never had this problem with any other Choice hotel. Still fighting with Choice Hotels customer service on the rate adjustment since they gave me a standard room. Keys didn't work to the first room they gave me. Had to go back multiple times and end up getting a different room. It was at this time I figured out they gave me a standard room. Nowhere on the website does it mention anything about the pet restrictions at this hotel. Carpet was stained in the room they gave me (looked like coffee stains or something similar). There were some ants near one of the beds. Didn't bother with breakfast as I was so mad. Will not be back!

The room was decently clean, it was accessible from the highway, and there was a nice whirlpool tub right in our room (which we only found one stray hair in). The price was good. Staff was friendly enough. However, the floor itself smelled of smoke (the room was tolerable), the location was a little bit sketchy, and breakfast was very disappointing. I think I would stay somewhere a bit nicer next time.

Being one of the only hotels in the area, it wasnt that bad. The staff was really nice and the room was okay. You could tell that it was an older hotel that would benefit from some upgrading.

I was just driving through the state, it was 2 in the morning, and this is the place where fate landed me (much to my chagrin). From dozens of bugs I the first room (obviously requested a change), to a few moldy/rotted places on the walls. The only redeeming factor, was that the man working reception was polite, friendly, and accommodating.

Average hotel. Good location. Okay rooms. Wifi isnt great. Breakfast okay.

The bathroom had not been clean. Fiecies on the toilet. The mirror was dirty. The bath had black steins. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. I had to go downstairs and ask for soap, shampoo, and hair conditioner. The room smelt moldy. The carpet was dirty. The bed was broken in the middle at the end. What was good was the front desk staff and the food and the kitchen staff. The hotel room is showing it's age in decor etc.

Staff is super friendly rooms are clean only thing is my pillow had black streaks on the pillow case but other than that it was a very decent quick stay. Would definitively recommend this place to others.

So dirty and looked worn down. Did not feel comfortable. Mold in the room, shower curtain dirty, dirt in air vents, different light bulbs on the vanity, and a disgusting elevator.

Smelled of cigarette smoke. The guy at the front desk barely spoke English. The room seemed clean enough.

I really didn't want to give 1 star. The only good thing was the interaction I had on the phone with them at 4PM booking a room. We were racing next door so we called that afternoon to get a room. They said that's fine took my card number and started reading me out my confirmation number and what the room was. We arrived around 2AM after the race to the employee ASLEEP in the lobby chairs. He says nothing but "we are full" we told him we had a reservation and he yells no you don't. I said we gave my card number and everything. He just continued to be rude and say " we have no room so even if you did have a reservation I can't pull someone else out" How rude!? He didn't try to see what the problem was or anything. I believe he must have sold too many rooms (while half asleep) without looking at the reservations…

Nice clean rooms no microwave or minifridge Wi-Fi didn't work either but most importantly to me I came to sleep and the rooms were clean and beds were comfy so I'm satisfied today.

Rooms were nice and clean. People were respectful and easy to work with.

These people are the salt of the earth! This review is long overdue… we were on a cross-country trip in bad weather and our brakes started grinding very loudly. We stopped here because we were afraid to go on. Kaleb (a delightful kid) at the front desk recommended a car repair shop (McLain Auto — also GREAT people), and I made an appointment with them the next day. The next morning, they were very accommodating as I struggled to get 4 teenagers out of bed, packed up, and out of the hotel room, late of course. Then they let me park the 4 of them in their lobby while I went and got the brakes fixed. The manager kept them stocked in donuts and coffee and genuinely pleasant conversation while I was gone. She was such a sweet and helpful person that I didn't worry about them a bit while I was gone (I know you shouldn't probably have to worry about teenagers anyway, but). These folks personified the word "hospitality" to tired, hungry, and stranded travelers!

Where do I start. We booked a king suite for $105. Supposedly they are pet friendly for an extra $15. What we didn't know. Pets are only allowed on the 1st floor. (Main front entrance is the 2nd floor) We stayed in a different room than what we booked. (2 queen beds with a price online of $73) Parking lot: a cut straw and a syringe at my feet as I step out of the car. 1st room. Key card would not work. 2nd room: hairs in the sink, sink wouldn't drain, no fridge, no microwave, shower curtain rod falling, and the mattresses had BED BUGS! I'm not joking. I told my 6 year old "get off the bed! " We were ready to leave but having a dog limited us on where we could go! 3rd room was bug free. And had a fridge, the bathroom door would not shut. My husband was checking out and was shocked to be told $140. WTH? They tried saying it was tax. My husband tried explaining that we downgraded our room from the king executive to the double queen bed bc of the dog. We were told to contact the booking site for a refund. Stay away from this place, especially the 1st floor.

Very friendly staff, one of the better hotels in the area with close access to the interstate. Clean rooms, standard breakfast, comfy beds. Wi-Fi was spotty at best, so if you're tech savvy might find something better.
