Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Nashville Hotel

Got to the hotel early and we were able to check in early. After driving all night and for 12 hrs. Straight, we were relieved! Nice staff and clean rooms. We chose to stay at Microtel after staying at one in Georgia, which had clean rooms and amenities.

This hotel is amazing! Have stayed here several times and my experience just keeps getting better. They have recently remodeled and its beautiful. They have a nice pool that is always kept clean.

Truthfully, not a bad place to stay. I stayed on Memorial weekend and compared to all the other hotels that jacked their prices up for the Memorial weekend, this was still reasonable. The rooms were clean and I really can’t complain. The floors are hard wood but that is actually what I prefer. The rooms are smaller hence the word microtel so it should be expected. I did not try the breakfast so I really can’t comment on that but one thing that they do not have that they need to get is Wi-Fi. Other than that if you need something cheap to stay a few days then I would recommend this place.

Decent facilities, but they gave us the key to the wrong room (already occupied room! ) Twice. To be fair, they did upgrade us to a nicer room. But also when checking out, they gave us someone else's receipt.

Jamie (assistant General Manager) is the best, I was booking a room and accidentally booked it for the wrong date (a week away and I needed it tonight) when I called the hotel a very friendly voice came on (Jamie) and was a life saver on helping me get the dates changed for tonight. The hotel was recently remodeled and looks great. Also the queen suites are amazing worth the upgrade. Thanks again Jamie we will definitely come back here when in town again.

You have to read it to the end! I’m a truck driver. The company I drive for booked me a room at this place to do a 10-hour reset required by law. Here’s my experience… At first glance you would think a typical 3 star motel. The parking lot was kempt and full of cars and the lobby was decently decorated for a 3 star. I got my key walked into the room and did a thorough inspection looking for any sign of bed bugs and/or cleaning issues. None found so far. Pillows are firm, mattress is seemingly comfortable, simple decorative features you would expect from a 3 Star. Last stop: Bathroom Handicap accessible: there is a shower seat and guard rails in the tub/shower (a plus for one who’s in that condition) ; towels folded nicely flowered and tucked with a clean appearance. HERE’S WHAT DID IT FOR ME! I look on the nice granite sink and something that appeared to be a dead BED BUG was right there in plain sight. I got out of there as fast as I could. The only reason I gave it a star is because you can’t go lower. I’m calling Wyndham Corporate office on Monday morning as it is Sunday night/morning now. Now I have to uncomfortably sleep in the truck.

Pet Friendly, Free Breakfast, Wi-Fi and Parking. Very comfortable beds. No carpet in the rooms. Flat screen TV, mini fridge. Caution: this place is under construction/remodeling right now, so a lot of their interiors, public spaces, lobby, etc is unfinished and tends to smell of paint.

The clerk at the front desk (02/27/2018 night shift) was very friendly and helpful. He made us feel very welcome.

Noisy because of remodel, workers working late, dirty halls and elevator. Just kinda nasty… Rooms very small, no fresh air without the noise from outside either.

Pet Friendly … this is the main reason I chose this place. My understanding is they they are each independently own and during a recent trip I stayed only the the Microtel chains. Each had a bit of a difference in accommodations. Some were outstanding from customer service to room cleanliness etc. Def look at the reviews before choosing. But again my main reason for choosing these is price and they are top notch pet friendly.

Very handy place to stay. The room was nice, but in need of new flooring. The hallways have the same issue. Carpets are very worn. Would stay there again. About 12 minutes from Loveless Café.

Room had worn and filthy carpet. Was disturbed all night by child above us. Clerk could not get child quiet. Finally, don't know what time, the noise ended. We were tired when we got there, and also the next day too.

I spent a total of 8 hours at this hotel. It was just a room to spend the night in on a road trip. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. Clean enough to not be gross, but wasn't perfect. I wouldn't spend a week, but for one quick night it was everything I needed.

Amazing hotel and staff, we came through on Saturday night (10/14) tired and ready for rest. The rooms were very clean and the beds were the most comfortable I have slept in, in a very long time, the pillows as well. My wife and I both commented how well we slept. Back on the road early Sunday morning. If you ever in the area off exit 196 coming out of Nashville, for the money and comfort, Microtel Inn & Suites. I wish I could name all of the staff that waited on us at the front desk, they were so sweet and thoughtful. Southern hospitality is alive and well in Nashville, TN. Next time we come through we will be staying with them. I just want to shout out to that Saturday staff and say "Hey thanks for all you do! "

This was a last minute reservation on the road to Nashville. I wish I had taken pictures and unfortunately I did not think of this at the time as I was exhausted. Before I go into the room review I want to say Virginia was very nice and was the only good thing about this hotel. For the price we paid (over $100) the room smelled, had a huge tear in the bedskirt, the carpet was so disgusting with dirt and holes my mom and I wore our shoes. The bed was comfortable so at least I could sleep but the comforter was in really rough shape. Had stains and lots of wear in it. The backboard was a wall full of mirrors which looked like they were from an interrogation room. Not good. Definitely not updated at all considering the facade was in really good shape and it looked nice when arriving. Anyways, my first review and disappointment from a hotel stay for the price we paid.

Virginia is the friendliest person ever. Rooms are very small and outta dated. But clean and safe area. Close to Nashville.

Good for a night stay. Very basic breakfast. Clean and maintained well. Very friendly staff.

Photos of the interior of the rooms posted on Priceline showed microwave and refrigerators in the rooms, the hotel does not offer such amenities. The continental breakfast was especially poor, stale plain minibagels, powdered creamer for the weak coffee, and most items were gone by 8am. The shower didn't drain properly and the bathtub faucet was unusually complex. Also, the rooms were over perfumed and the doors to the room and the bathroom both stuck.

Stayed on the third floor. It had a bed and a bathroom which is all I needed. We were visiting family in the area and didn't plan on spending much time in the room. Just to sleep. It was good for that.

Do not stay at this hotel! The room was filthy and even though it was a nonsmoking room it smelled like someone had smoked in it. The carpets are in desperate need of a deep clean. Our infant son was crawling on the floor and the knees of his pajamas are black. I don't know if the stains will come out. The sheets on the beds were never changed. The breakfast selection was not very good. We stayed at this same hotel two years ago and thought it was good so we booked it again on this trip. We definitely regret that decision.

Excellent service and attention.

I don't know who is leaving these good reviews, but this experience was really terrible. In addition to being dirty, the carpet was frayed and stained, paint was peeling, there was some leak that was causing the trim to fall off the wall in the bathroom, and the the lighting was all fluorescent so it put a weird spotlight on all these issues. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, literally.

Great place for a quick stay! The beds were super firm so it's up to you if you like firm or not. The hotel is pet friendly and I saw a few dog's while I was there. I love dogs so that made my stay really enjoyable. I had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast in the morning so I can't say much about that.

This hotel could use some elbow grease when being cleaned. Bed and room were nice for the price but the bathroom needed more attention. Staff was friendly and professional.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Nothing fancy here. The walls could have used more sound insulation, though. When I arrived I could hear a couple talking and a baby crying in the room next door, though by the time I got back from an event and went bed I heard nothing. I decided to go to a fast food restaurant down the street for breakfast as almost everything available was either bread or sweet (not good when my blood sugar was a little higher than it should have been that morning). To be fair, they did also have fruit, but the lobby was pretty crowded at that time anyway. My other main complaint is that the toilet paper roll was on the opposite wall from the commode, making it necessary for anyone with arms shorter than mine to get up and reach across the room to get some to use. The alarm clock was nice but a very bright green that gave the entire room a glow at night. I did like the night light in the bathroom and the price of the room was much more affordable than other places I checked, and it was in a location that allowed easy access to I-40 so it only took about 15 minutes to get downtown. Despite my complaints above, I would stay again.

The staff was friendly and helpful… other than that, it was dirty, smelled of smoke (for s non smoking facility kinda bad even in the rooms), I took my socks off, walked across our room, turned in the shower, as I stepped in I left 2 black foot prints on the nice white shower floor. Now I wasn't running around outside or even in the hall but really. Can we say steam cleaner. I would leave a 1 star but the staff was nice. Ratty couch and cushions that sunk in and hurt the back of your legs. Coffee pot stained top but clean, no stirrers or anything to stir with. Bed was ok, but my father got car sick in it, if that makes any sense at all. Huh? Me too this morning! Plus someone else had the same problem last night right at the entrance walk. Had been there for a bit, hadn't even washed it down. Ever so appealing and the cherry on top of our stay. Wyndham needs to put some funds and training possibly. The staff was friendly enough but at $117 a night I would expect better accommodations, smells and a better continental breakfast. Not a nit picky person generally and will give positive reviews for those that do the job above and beyond, but Wyndhamn name usually you get a better level of hotel, was short of what I would expect. We had a not so sweet, suite.

The room had a weird smell, dust all over everything, and dead bugs in the window. Inside, not outside. There was also a dirty towel in the floor and trash on the floor as well. Not to mention small holes in the bed coverings and flat pillows. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hotel is very basic and doesn't offer anything more than a bed and a bathroom. If you're fine with that, then you will love it here.

Stayed overnight and noticed a few things to improve on. The air conditioner in our room was pretty loud, and the bed felt clammy, almost damp. Some of the moulding in the bathroom, on the floor next to the shower, was torn, and the sink had rust on it. The staff was a bit rude, as if they didn't want us there. Housekeeping came into the room without knocking. There was also a bug problem outside, with small swarms of them attracted to the outside lights. The place just needed a little more cleaning overall, but was not the absolute worst place to spend a night.

Room was nice and cold, beds were cleaned well, all the employees were quite nice. Continental breakfast was a little light but no complaints here. Had a great vacation!

Location was fine, however the staff was unprofessional and not friendly at all. The room was not clean by any means. Hair all over the bathroom, no shampoos or soap, and the overnight attendant was wearing a hoodie, ball cap, no shoes, had a vape in his hand and not out front at the desk or office. Will not recommend them at all!
