Review of Grand Palms Resort 3*

Let me explain why I'm so frustrated with this place. My wife and I are headed to Myrtle Beach for the week and stop at the visitors center and a young man approaches us and ask where we are staying. After a while he explains how wonderful this timeshare resort is and how it's different than all the others. Now having said that he ask several questions including where are we staying. We told him we were staying at a house that one of our bosses owned for the week in Surf Side Beach. He goes on to tell us how wonderful this timeshare company is again on and on how they are different than others. Offers us several ticket choices of which we picked the choose one. This is scheduled for one morning of our vacation, 90 minutes no big deal and o by the way we are looking to buy a time share at the Sheraton so we thought this would be a good way to compare. So we arrive at our 9:00 appointment fill out all the paperwork only to wait 10 minutes to be called up to the to the desk to be told we can't do the tour because we are staying at a beach house for free. Because we are staying at the beach house for free we aren't going to buy anything and it cost them $400 per couple. Who the hell are they to tell me that just because I'm staying at a house for free that I won't buy a timeshare? What a rip off! I called the young man that signed us up and he was like well this is news to me I don't understand. These people need to be all on the same page and not waste peoples time on vacation. By the way Myrtle Beach Plantation just to show you, I'm going back to Sheraton and I'm going to buy their timeshare. I will call the BBB on you and tell everyone that I come in contact with how you treated us. In my opinion you suck! People please here me and stay clear of this joke of a operation!
