The breakfast was very nice! Room was clean, air unit was to loud.

Beautiful hotel however they advertise bus and truck parking, if you show up with a Suv and utility trailer you cannot park on their premises, for this I rate them a zero.

A great stay! The people above us were loud but that is honestly not the hotel's fault. Breakfast was good the next morning. I would reccomend.

Always enjoy our stop over here. Clean rooms, nice pool and breakfast buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you stop over I highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites Santee.

Will not ever go back. The lady that works afternoon shift needs an attitude makeover… it's not my fault that online the site I was on messed up our reservations. But I got attitude about it and was told we should have called them. But for 178 for ONE night we could have had better quality service. Human hair on the beds NO towels in the room at all.

My stay at Comfort Inn was once again a wonderful experience. The room, the bathroom, and all the amenities were all good. Breakfast was a blast, I had hot food, my mom had cereal and fruit, my brother had both. The pool and the pool were clean and I was able to relax there as well. The staff receive an A+. My mom says she had a good night's sleep. She gives two thumbs up.

The room was clean and ready for us on time. We had neighbors on both sides but the walls were thick enough that we could not hear them. The man working the front desk was friendly and helpful. When I realized I had forgotten to pack toothpaste, he offered me several toothpaste packets so I would not have to buy any.

The guy at front desk was a complete jerk. We booked room then when we got here he wanted to charge $10 per person over 2 hrs old even though our room was for 4 ppl so at $116 a night us 10 extra $156 was not worth attitude we got so we went to Quality in rooms where very nice home cook breakfast big tv's VERY nice lady at front desk would recommend this place 100%

Really dated and the front desk person was a real pain to deal with. Spend 15+ minutes explaining that we would have less people in the rooms than the booking said. A nightmare.

Good for over night stay. Gas prices in area are deceptive. Prices are cash only. Charges are 2-4 cents more.

Great location with easy access to I95! Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Great staff! Friendly and helpful! Very clean, spacious rooms with a great breakfast included.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was quick at checking me in. And the room was spacious and beds were soft. Not much more you can ask for.

The hotel was nice and it was located in a nice enough area that there were still a few eating establishments nearby that allowed our students options for what to eat.

I stayed here to stop over a road trip so I arrived at 2am. Despite the time, the front desk associate was very nice and while we requested a king bed they were booked so they upgraded us for free to a king suite which was very nice. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was early but very good. It was a perfect overnight stop.

Excellent value for money.

Very upset. We made our reservation well over a month ago yet they chose to put us in a king room in a hall with construction and the room had obviously been painted with some sort of paint that should be illegal to use where people sleep. I get bronchitis very easily and asked to be moved. They did move us but the air coming from the account seemed to be blowing odors in. We usually like comfort inn but this may have us looking elsewhere in the future.

Appears — Literally in the middle of reconstruction — exposed 2x4 framing in our room, new unpainted door and trim. Not worth what they're charging. Looks like they are upgrading but no where near there yet. Staff is nice, breakfast is good, but it's under construction. Good enough to sleep if you can't find better but wouldn't recommend currently.

This should be your last choice. This place gives Comfort Inn and Suites a bad name. Over priced, cheap and chintzy. Started with two incompetent ladies at check in and went down hill from there. Furnishings and bathroom were cheap (can't use that word enough). Breakfast was awful.

Very dirty. Bathroom filthy. In need of a gut job. Certainly not worth over $100. The people were nice and the breakfast is ok if you don't mind plastic utensils and foam plates and spicy sausage. If you are looking for a dirty over priced place with chipped paint and in need of a makeover this is it.

Bottom line is I would NOT recommend this place given my experience. I will go into detail below and will not hold back. If you go any further in this review, you do so at your own risk. Negative White stains on comforter (semen), stain on sheet (blood? ), Spider webs complete with egg sacs in a corner, dead cockroaches on the floor, musty smell in the room (the suite), shower faucet leaked all night, stains in tub, walls, and terrible patch jobs in drywall. The lobby looks nice. I wish they would take the same care with the rooms for guests. Also, the lobby closes at 11pm, and my wife had to check in through a teller window when we arrived at 1am with our 4 kids and noted it smelled like marijuana. Positive AC worked, we got free breakfast I have stayed in some sketchy places in my time and this rates pretty high on the list. At the end of the day we didn't die, but we felt like we needed a shot of penicillin and a tetanus shot after leaving.

We evacuated from Florida and headed north. We found the this hotel in Santee, SC after going to a lot of hotels that were full. The staff greeted us. We ask to see if they had any vacancies and they had one available. We went to our room and it is big. We felt at home. We had a living room and a bedroom. We want to thank the staff for being helpful and friendly. If we are up this way, we will stop here. They are terrific.

Checked into room and smelled musty… went to try and change rooms and was told no, just turn the air on and it will circulate the air… yes that's right I want musty air circulating around, thanks but no thanks. Even tried to upgrade to a different room and was told no due to reservation being online so will just have to deal with it… not exactly good customer service, will not be back here or to a comfort suites if this is how they treat customers paying them for a good stay. Avoid this place and spend the extra $10 for the holiday inn, at least they believe in customer service and making their guests happy.

After driving until 1 am, I stopped at what I thought would be like every Comfort Inn Suites to get some rest. I am a Choice Member and 2 pm check out is one of the perks. The first room smelled horrible, so we were moved. The rooms were more not even close to comparable to the last 2 we stayed at… or any other I normally stay. When I asked for late check out I was told ask in the morning… it is past 1 am… I don't want to wake up … I want late check out. At 10 when I called for late check out I was told 12. Got my kids up to get ready to leave. Workers are literally OUTSIDE our window! As one teen was getting out of the shower someone just used their key without knocking a d tried to enter! It was not even 12 yet! I woke to the sounds of drills as it was! The staff was rude… not even a smile from the front desk… just not typical of a Comfort Inn Suites. No receipt under my door either. I would skip this one and drive to the next one… or stay at the Holiday Inn Express right next door!

The outside of the hotel looks great. The lobby looks modern. The rooms are a work in progress for remodeling. The housekeeping staff… I don't even know. We checked in on a Friday night. Had a family reunion in town the following day so we woke up Saturday morning and took our time getting ready. Left room about 11am. No housekeepers were in sight on our wing of the hotel. Left hotel. Came back to our room later that evening to find a do not disturb sign hanging from our door. Opened the door to find an unserviced room. Went to the front desk to inquire why we hadn't received service. Advised that housekeeping doesn't service the room unless the customer is present and asks for services. We were not told this upon check out. We were also told that it's a liability issue for housekeepers to enter the room without customers' approval. That spoke volumes about the staff they chose to hire. Will not be back to this hotel again. Stay here with caution and with knowledge your room will not be cleaned.

The walls were dirty especially the bathroom door and it smelled. The cleaning person did not do a good job cleaning the bathroom, I saw a pubic hair on the floor and in the tub.

The personnel behind the front desk were more worried about what was on their cell phones than greet a prospective customer. I will say that once you have their attention they were pretty helpful and cortieous. Initially when you you walk in the room you are overwhelmed with a musky smell. The room was clean. The toilets have an extremely strong flushing capability. I know that sounds weird but you have to see it to understand.

This looked like a nice place, and I chose it b/c it had interior doors & was pet-friendly according to the lady — the manager, I believe — when I called earlier the same day I was going to check in. Imagine my surprise when I rolled in at 11 p. M. & found that she'd given me faulty info. (Only service animals are allowed. ) It was too warm to leave my dog in the car (not that that would be an option for me anyway), so I had to cancel my reservation & start looking for a new place. I ended up at the Holiday Inn next door… a VERY comfortable bed… and a lot more $$, but they accepted my dog. I would have assumed this was completely my fault, except for the fact that I called and asked at least three times in my phone conversation for a pet friendly room. The lady I spoke with at the front desk was very professional about it all, and she cancelled the reservation without any issues. I just wish I had been given accurate information when I asked over the phone so that I could have stayed there & left a completely positive review.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little lacking but it was still food.

Friendly staff, room was clean for the most part but the bathtub needed additional cleaning before we were able to give our children a bath. Furniture was worn and torn in the living room area.

This was a great experience. I stayed with my grandparents here overnight while driving back to Florida. We were cautious about where we stayed because we have never had bed bugs and well, don't care to. No bites or signs of them when we left but, only time will tell. So far, I do not believe I saw any signs of any. Anyway, we called at about 10:30 pm and asked what rooms were available, and she asked how many and such. When we got there, we met with the same lady we were on the phone with. She helped us and we went to our room. The whole place including our room (201) was VERY clean. The rooms were very nice with a LCD TV and basic cable. Wifi was a good speed too. Won't be watching YouTube videos, but works perfect for basic web browsing. Breakfast was good. Coffee, apple juice, orange juice, biscuits, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, and other things. Very good, much better than anything you could get if you go anywhere besides somewhere like Denny's. Best experience I've had to date.

This was an overnight stay. Room smelled moldy when entering. Otherwise location was great. Continental breakfast was sufficient.

We had a great experience, and they were able to accommodate our request for a crib. The woman assisting with the breakfast buffet was especially helpful and friendly.

Room was a little musty. I believe it was the air conditioning. Nice that they offer full breakfast with stay.

After trying a number of hotels that we normally stay at which were booked we tried this place. They had a suite available the thermostat is screwed up the emergency heat is on. We have no clue how to get it off. My husband went to the front desk about 35 minutes ago and we are still waiting for the one and only person to come check it out. Also the refrigerator sucks also not cold at all. Would not recommend this place. Thinking of getting our stuff and heading out this is not the way to treat guests.
