This place is disgusting. Overflowing trash cans. Dirty room. Leaking ceiling in the lobby, no breakfast or gym. Owner couldn't care less about the problems. Owner and his wife "cleaned" our room even though we did not leave the service requested sign hanging. A pair of shorts went missing and they left a pile of trash in the room. We ended up calling the cops to get refunded for the shorts. The owner of this place has no business being in charge of anything. Very unprofessional. Do not stay here!

Mold smell made my chest hurt so bad that had to use my inhaler 4 times after being in the room 10-15 minutes. Had to leave and stay somewhere else (even though closest decent place was 39 miles away).
Avoid.

This hotel staff verbally assaulted my friend and a friend of hers who were literally just trying to get a final paycheck. There is video proof. This hotel is full of trash. Doing these types of things in front of kids and guests is completely unprofessional. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Anger management may help you should put all your staff through it.

I would like to say how grateful we are for a person like Rakia working hard every day to meet the needs of guests! For two nights in a row, she has gone above and beyond to make our stay great! Whatever we asked for she accommodated us and even stopped me from cleaning up water I spilled so that she could do it for me. She's so polite and helpful! We can't say enough great things about her and I hope that this company appreciates her and recognizes her for her hard work!

The “hot” breakfast was disgusting. No eggs at all. What hotel these days that serves hot breakfast doesn’t have scrambled eggs or the omelette patties? The sausage served was gross. One kind of bagel seriously cinnamon raisin? No sugar free syrup for the waffles so couldn’t even have those.
This was THE WORST and most disgusting breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. I will never stay there again.

This is a beautiful clean hotel. Everyone who works here is very professional and accommodating. My room was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here. I will stay here again if I come back to Beaufort SC.

The beds are very hard, upon entering the room, the carpet was not properly vacuumed and the bathroom was dirty. The shelving looked as if it had not had a good cleaning in months. The breakfast lacked a lot to be desired. Most things were out and the lady working could only make excuses as to why they were running at sub-par. Juices were out and the boiled eggs had to be several days old. They were dry and rubbery. It is sad when instant oatmeal is the best part of your breakfast. There were broken tiles throughout the main floor. The pool looked very nasty with discoloration on the walls and floor. The price was not worth the quality of which we received.

We had family Staying in 3 hotels around Beaufort. Comfort Suites was hands down the best maintained and best furnished. Another small convenience was the complimentary breakfast Started at5:30. While others Started at 7. That Starting time is intentional because they know parents attending Marine graduation. Bravo Comfort Suite for taking care of us.

An unexpected delay at another local hotel had us booking here last minute during the Water festival and the service was exceptional! Staff was amazing, clean rooms, 1 of the staff even offered to help my pregnant wife carry a bag while I was parking. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The people there were very nice! They greeting me when I came in, and made sure I had everything we needed. Each and every staff I had the pleasure of meeting, were more than excellent, and very professional. The rooms was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good and on time. I would love to visit again soon.

Best hotel I've stayed in, in a long time. Breakfast could be better. Staff were all super, super nice. Went way above to make sure we had everything we needed. Even had a little note on our desk when arriving.

Nice hotel with very nice staff. Air conditioning didn't work in our room and we didn't realise until 10pm. Moved to a new room, mentioned to the front desk that the room had a weird smell. It was inconvenient but AC was a must. In the morning I found pink mold on the shower head which I cleaned before use. A slow to drain tub, which meant standing in scummy water, then re-rinsing our feet. No shower liner either. Mentioned all of these things to front desk. Received an apology and was told that we would receive a $35 credit for all of these issues. That was on the 5th of may. After a minimum of 3 calls and being told that a general manager would call (they did not) I am still waiting for my refund. Did receive an e-mail showing where they credited our account $35. It also shows an adjustment of $35 which they charged on top of our original fee. To sum that up. They charged us $35 more and then refunded $35. I tried to explain this to both the young ladies that I talked to and they both said they would look into the matter further. I finally opened a disputed charge claim with my credit card company as I felt like I was getting no where. Disappointed by comfort suites experience!

My daughter actually rented the room, but I checked it out. Room was great and the staff went above and beyond. The maid Mary even left a hand written note. Will definitely recommend.

Great pleasant staff, clean but dated. Accessable room consisted of a tub with separate chair. No roll in possible. Grab bars around toilet on left and back only.

Just stayed for our third time and planning a trip back in the fall. Can't ask for friendlier staff. Rooms where clean and bug free. Nice Continental buffet-style breakfast on weekends including gravy and biscuits, sausage, eggs Etc. Weekdays waffles and common continental breakfast items. Great location. Central to downtown Beaufort and only a 20 minute drive to hunting State Park. Would send any of my family or friends there.

This was a clean, quiet, easy access hotel. We stayed two nights without issue. The continental breakfast was well stocked. The pool was very, very small and the towels were constantly out, that was disappointing but manageable.

Tough review. At first look hotel looks nice & room is great. Couldn't wait to go to the pool. The pool & hot tub looked so dirty. Was warm but hairs kept sticking to us and a bathing suit liner was found. Then we took showers & there was mold along the very top. My daughter wanted to take a bath and the plug didn't even fit the drain. We did get a courtesy call which I have never got during a stay ever. Staff were super nice. So I am torn on rating. Room had enough space for all 5 of us.

Very nice rooms and breakfast. Clean pool and hot tub and fitness room. They even called to check on us. We were here for graduation and will stay again if we return.

Very nice king suite, with a Jacuzzi. A little noisy early in the morning, but otherwise great. The customer service was the best of any hotel I've ever stayed in!

The hotel room was clean, great temperature and the linens were also clean. The staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast had many options for adults and children. I would stay again. The chlorine in the pool was overwhelming with several people eyes burning and coughing. The pool area needed some windows or circulation to diminish the powerful chlorine.

The king room was large & clean. Very comfortable bed. The amenities were fully stocked and the staff was helpful & very pleasant throughout the building. I recommend this location highly.

Typical room, however, the latch lock screws were very loose, the remote did not work and the front panel on the AC fell off. Told front desk and concerns were addressed promptly.

Stayed here almost three weeks consecutive and the rooms weren't very clean if you look closely. L also felt very uncomfortable that at ten at night sounded like gangland in the lobby only to find out that the phone cord was unhooked and stuffing behind the night stand. Thank goodness it was a corporate account that paid for the room but I won't stay here again. Saying all that if you can survive the night and don't mind taking hair out of the bed that doesn't belong to you or the person you are with the breakfast is good but as for price compared to surrounding places I will definitely not be back. Another point of my concern is one week you can check in early and the next it's three firm and even upon checking in over two hours late the whole phone deal accured as well as the whole bathroom floor being covered in baby oil or something.

We had the most horrible stay ever. They call these "suites" but I'm convinced they have no clue as to what a suite is. I called for a room big enough for 2 adults and four kids… they gave me a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch big enough for one person. I asked for a crib/pack and play for my baby… they said they only had 1 so he had to sleep on a bed with me, and my husband had to sleep in the car overnight… it was 28 degrees that night. The rooms were dirty. My oldest son developed a rash from sleeping on the pullout couch… just disgusting and dirty rooms. The pool is about 12 feet long… all my kids would probably fill the occupancy limit if they were in there at all at once. Terrible experience and I don't recommend.

I booked through 3rd party and had a bunch of issues with that site I called the 3rd party and they tried to fix it. Thankfully Comfort Suits was able assist me and fix everything. It would have been the worst visit but because of Comfort Suits I actually enjoyed my stay. So thank you Comfort Suits.

Just checked at 1 PM, I am now checked out 4 M. TV reception is @ 40% with no assistance from the front desk even though I inquired twice. Person behind the desk was more interested in facebook than customer satisfaction. Shame, just a shame. I understand the customer base being Paris Island graduation, point being is this would be my last choice for a hotel stay if I had a say.

Clean but not well maintained. Imagine 2015 car with 200k miles that was detailed. It is obviously owned by someone trying to squeeze every nickle he can out of it before it implodes. Would I stay here, yes but it isn't worth a penny more then about 75 a night.

My husband and I recently stayed here for our son's graduation from Boot camp, the room was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, we will stay there again on our next trip to Beaufort SC.

Front desk personal extremely nice and friendly Overall cleanliness good. Comfortable beds. Good location I would give a higher rateing however the closet door was broken, the toliet seat was broken, and I had to ask for clean towels.

I will be writing the better business bureau on this matter. I was refused a room when availability was open. They told me I had to book for two nights when all I needed was one and they could not give me a room unless I booked both nights. I have always used this chain of hotels and will not be using them again.

If I could put zero stars… I would! First of all the room I reserved online was not what was given to me when I checked in! Description of rooms online is not what they have available. If you are looking for a two person sofa bed… this place does not have it! Only twin size! Had to have my room changed twice, once because it was wrong and once because the toilet was overflowing and broken! The coffee pot was out of order at breakfast and the one in my room didn't work, yellow colored hard boiled eggs… those were probably rotten! NO turn down service the next day! I had to call the front desk for extra towels and trash pick up! Def dont get excited about the pool and hot tub. Rooms were clean, but the shower looked old and molded around the sides. Dingy looking comforters.

Wonderfully welcoming. Nice friendly atmosphere. Spacious, upscale accomidations. Laundry room available. Great for a weekend get-a-way. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

Came here for a quick overnight beach trip. Overall this is a good hotel with updated, mostly clean rooms. They seem to be trying but are missing the target. Several things were broken/out of order (swimming pool, ice machine) ; broken tiles in the bathroom; breakfast was good but hot food was limited to 2 pre-cooked items. Parking lot was full and we had to park in a dark area. Other than that, this was a good clean place to stay for a night.

Had a great stay there this week. Room was clean and fresh, internet was great, and the pillows were awesome! (Soft on one side, firm on the other — loved that. I wanted to take one home…). The staff was so nice and very welcoming. Note — the hotel is coming under new management that is working hard to bring the hotel up to Choice Hotel standards. It looks like they are also putting money into it to make it nice. I'm not sure about the bad reviews — maybe new manager and higher standards will address that. I will definitely come back.

Amazing staff! Veronica is very helpful and the rooms were clean! Easy access to base for graduation! Prices are higher during grad, but worth it! I highly recommend for a comfortable stay for coming to bootcamp grad. Especially for the graduates they deserve a nice night after bootcamp spend the money you wont regret it.

WORST MOTEL EVER! Upon entering the Motel I should have turned around b/c of the smell & first appearance. I proceeded to the elevator which by the way was so slow, but anyways got off elevator on third floor the smell in hallway was ridiculous, the room itself had a loud order like the carpet hadn't been cleaned in years, the sheets on bed were damped, tub dirty, floors in room & bath room were sticky. I had to rush to an event so I didn't have time to request an immediate refund. I spoke w/ Gina Williams which is the General Manager she is HORRIBLE this lady didn't apologize for my bad experience she was supposed to follow up w/ me on today, Monday, 4/4/16 b/c I left Saturday evening & they stated the GM works Mon-Fri. Anyways she acted as if she wasn't bother by what I was saying to her & stated I could not get a full refund keep in mind I didn't stay to this room at all. I will be contacting corporate office & taking this as far as I can b/c Gina Williams and some lady named Bobbi Hall were very RUDE! DO NOT STAY HERE! VERY NASTY GM & MOTEL!

Our team stopped at the comfort suites in Beufort — worst hotel experience ever. Won't be going back.

I loved the stay. They were all very kind. We got there and we told them that we had just been at a horrible hotel (travelodge) and even showed them pictures. They then welcomed us in, and gave us a discount, and we're very kind. Great hotel to stay at if your in south Carolina for a family member graduation boot camp on Paris Island. It is just 10 minutes away. Not to mention, great food places around it. There breakfast is always delicious in the morning.

Clean, warm, good commodities.

Room didn't have a remote so I had to wait about 30 minutes to get one, so that was annoying. Otherwise it was nice.
