Wonderful staff, a beautiful location! The owners out did themselves with the remodel and updates! Beautiful and super clean!

Rooms not cleaned and vacuumed. Roaches in the room. Broken chairs and drawers. Chipped counters in the bathroom. Bedbugs. Plumbing issues in the bathtub. Horrible! The absolute worst experience that I have ever had in public lodging. I highly recommend that you not stay in that place.

If I could give no stars I would! The lobby is very deceiving as it is super nice and clean, but the rooms are disgusting. Huge cockroaches outside everywhere! Blanket was dirty and stained. Had we not been so tired from our drive we would have gone elsewhere. Definitely not worth the money.

Jpg Horrible horrible! please do not, do not stay in this place, this whole place is full of bed bugs, and the smell is so badly that you can smelled as soon u enter in the room, we asked for not smoking and they give us a dirty nasty room… If you can please help me to spread this before someone else become victims of this place …

This is the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Everything needs to be updated. Including management. Shower head barely works. Wash clothes was dirty. You get a hand towel to dry of with. So far I've had to get a new key everyday when I've returned from work cause neither one I was issued worked. Shower was ok. Once you learned the breakdance technique just to get yourself wet. But there probably isn't anything better in this town either.

The check in was fast and clerk Jessica was kind and informative. Coffee was awful and donuts were hard. Suggest coffee pot in rooms. Cleaning service was adaquate. Will stay there again.

The rooms were nice but they have old model tv's but the room was good and clean you can tell the hotel kind of old by looking at the room and their rates are a little high for that old room.

If I could give no stars I would. The room I stayed in was infested with Bed Bugs! (229) Roaches! Very dirty, walls, tv, tables just everything was nasty. I wouldn't allow my dog to stay here. I'll never return. I recommend you spend a little extra and stay else where. Again Bed Bugs awful got no sleep. Reported it to the office, yet they offered another room. Which I declined due to possible bed bugs in there as well. Had to take a trip to the er due to all the bites. The older lady is rude. They should have offered my money back.

The room heater had to be unplugged to turn it off. The room phone didn't work; impossible to call the front desk. The bathroom light would go off and come back on minutes later. The complementary breakfast was cleaned up and put away early and we had to go look for breakfast elsewhere. Wifi was unreliable in the room.

It didn’t smell very nice, the ice machine didn’t work, the mini fridge was very dirty and gross, walking around outside felt sketchy, and best of all: I found two live cockroaches under the covers in the bed I was meant to sleep in.

No longer allow truck parking. This hotel has gone to hell since hands changed a few years ago. Truck parking has never been a problem before. We ask before parking there, a female desk clerk said it was fine. Only to be told it wasn't later on. Asking us to move wasn't a problem, it was the way he addressed us. Very rude, and impolite. Sure wish the previous owners would've pasted up on the buyer. They'll never get another penny from me. Hateful, and nasty.

My stay at the lake city inn was wonderful! Everyone was so nice and very helpful except for the little short old lady with the white hair, she was a little rude at checkout time. The room color was great the t. V. S were a little out dated. But other then that everything was wonderful. I would most stay there again any day. And I highly recommend this motel.

The people were extremely nice, the rooms were clean, but the breakfast was not the greatest.

Aye I'm going to be honest. This hotel is trash man. They ran out of towels. My uncles room smelled like mil do, my grandmas room had leaking water on top of the sink. Room 107! Please don't get that room, the air conditioner will keep you up all night with this loud raddling sound. The old lady at the desk is very rude for no reason but the other younger ones are cool. But come at your own risk. Smh.

This is NOT a $75 hotel. It's more $39.99 a night. Room 107 was horrible. Toilet seat and toilet had a huge gap. No toilet paper holder. Holes in walls. Electrial outlets falling out of walls. Mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner made horrible noises and the fire alarm started chirping at 3 am.

Great price, clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location. Really enjoy my stay and would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

There were a couple of things wrong. For starters I asked for a no smoking rooms. I was place between two rooms that were smoking rooms so it smelt like smoke all the time. Next the toilet seat was very dirty. It look like nobody ever cleaned the toilet seat before. There was no iron or ironing board in my room, had to borrow one from another room of a friend. The bed wasn't made up properly. There was b no fitted sheet on the mattress so throughout the night the sheet kept coming off. The television remote didn't work and the power button didn't work either. You had to be very careful on how to turned the TV off and on. Room 217 was my room and I wouldn't go back there ever again.

Sometimes it's good, sometimes not. Last time I went the room smelt like some heavily scented stuff that it shouldn't have and not just because it was nonsmoking.

No cleaning prior to booking room. There were crumbs and dirt all on the floor. Not a room we expected to have.

Not a lot of hotels in the area. This hotel was very shabby, old garbage found behind the beds and night stands. Outdates, a lot of patch work. Appliances old and not well kept. On the positive side, rooms are spacey and convenient to shopping area. Not worth the $ though. Another occupant left his car running for a few minutes, and it was stolen.

Terrible, no service, people banging on your door at 2 am asking for cigarettes! Ridiculous. 1 star but if I could I would give it negative 5 stars!

This place is absolutely disgusting. I think it's a homeless shelter posing as a motel to unsuspecting out of towners. People are living there and hanging out. It has roaches, one was actually crawling on my grandmother and the towels shread fibers as soon as you dry yourself. I gave it a one but I really want to give it a negative 1000. Ewwwww.

Only people checked in at the time and they checked someone into my room an hour after I checked in and never apologized. Stranger unlocked and just walked into room. Ice machine didn't work, nor half room lights, TV remote either. Dirty and towels were so old see through them. Very crappy place.

No cups or coffee pot, trash on floor, food left in the microwave, iron missing. Overpriced dump.

It's 1130 at night and ppl are standing outside talking very load / partying. Load cars keep speeding threw the parking lot and it doesn't seem like it's going to end any time soon.

Quiet, clean bathrooms. Better than most rooms in florence.

The rooms were clean and had everything that we needed to spend the night. The workers were very polite and helped us out if we needed anything.

My stay here has been so amazing. The workers are so outgoing and anyone is willing to lend a hand… And as far as their Wi-Fi well it works perfect as of my stay… This is the best hotel in Lake City or Kingstree… Yes some minor changes need to be done but other than that the rooms are clean, TV works, Wi-Fi does, and all of their employees lends a helping hand if in need…

I'd totally stay at lake city inn if they fixed the pool and have Wi-Fi but if they don't I'm going back to daysinn they have much better TVs shoot any hotels with Wi-Fi and a pool I'll go.

Well I don't know possibly how this one person could have given this dive a 5 star review. There was no toilet paper. The bed was fallen apart, the night stand were filty, my room had a wasp nest on the door jam. I saw pubic hairs in the bathroom and to top it off. They called us at 9 am to get us out. We then asked if check out was not at 11. Guess what at 11 am on the nose, one the nose they once again called to tell us to leave. This hotel is for white trash and as a road worrier who stayed in hundreds of hotels rooms for the last 10 years as a rep stay away! filthy, dirty and rude.

Sheets are clean but stained, wallpaper stapled and taped to the wall, the room had stains on the wall, we had an iron board but no iron (my family next door had an iron but no board, old tissue from previous renters were, dead bugs in the drawers, and they had sunny delight orange juice for breakfast and not regular orange juice. By the way, breakfast was horrible. People please RUN from this place. I used to like it when it was the Holliday inn but this hotel has taken the turn for the worst. Ugh.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no toilet paper in the room when we checked in. The room had a musky odor, Ice machine on the second floor looks like it has not worked in years. The hotel frequently ran out of towels. We checked into a 2 queen beds and we had 4 pillows only. The sheets were not changed once while we were there, nor was it vacuumed. Breakfast was torn down, including coffee promptly at 9am every morning including the weekends.
