Super duper clean suite! Felt safe staying here for the weekend! Very courteous staff too! The room is very large with a bar with sink, swinging flat screen TV, sectional couch, vanity area and king size bed in the adjoining section!

Mold in showers, food & drinks from previous guests in fridge.

Nice staff but when we got in the room there was trash and food left in the room from previous guests. Used band-aids and tissues in the trash can by the sink, french fries and used tissue by the sofa, gummies and a water bottle under the pullout sofa, price tag left on the toilet, dirty tub and shower curtain. I ended up taking pictures of everything to show the front desk because it just became ridiculous. Housekeeping would benefit from being retrained.

Great location convenient to Newberry County, the Harbison area of Columbia and downtown, as well as Lake Murray!

Staying here for work, but I couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel. Beds are incredibly comfortable, breakfast & coffee is good. The bar is nice with a good selection of reasonably priced cocktails, and guest service reps are extremely kind & professional. They have a stock of toiletries in case you forget something. My only complaint is, they should have a microwave in the rooms! can't heat up my take out. Would stay here again if needed.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff, great breakfast! They need more kid friendly channels on TV for when kids need to wind down after traveling but other than that, it was great all around!

Last night we packed up our 3 kids, 2 dogs and everything we thought we wouldn’t want lost forever, decided to leave town and drive thru the night instead of leaving in the am. We couldn’t find a hotel to take our dogs so we decided to still leave and were planning to just sleep in the car along the road, until I found this hotel. You guys are life savers, literally! Thank you all again! There have been reports of hotels price gouging and this place was very affordable. We would’ve paid anything but we were lucky to have found such a safe haven.

The staff make a difference in this choice of hotel. Excellent customer service. The room was spacious with separate sitting area. Enjoyed our stay at this property.

! Excellent! The customer service is beyond awesome. I was traveling with my 9 month old. I needed someone to stand with my luggage cart while I parked and they did it with a smile. Not only that but the lady at check in called someone to bring my things up without me even asking. That is what I call wonderful service! And the room is amazing, super clean and spacious. And the air works perfect! Not to mention this comfortable bed covered in soft pillows. This will be my go to when traveling here.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever been a guest at. Check in was a breeze and they had so many services. You can borrow chargers or buy cheesecake at the front desk (at 11pm mind you). And breakfast was delicious. I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the fitness center, pool, or computer room, but everything I did experience was positive. This is now my go to hotel to stay in in Colombia. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit.

What a fantastic hotel! I’m going to give it 5 stars even though you wouldn’t normally call the Hyatt Place a “5-star hotel”. The reason I am giving it 5 stars is because it is excellent at what it sets out to accomplish. The hotel is modern, clean, spacious and relatively inexpensive. For a great price you can get a spacious room with two beds and a pull-out sofa with room for my family of 5. This is a big deal when we travel because it is super convenient to avoid splitting my family into two rooms. Not to mention that we often simply can’t afford two separate rooms when we travel. I love this hotel and what you get for the money. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is more than adequate and the beds are comfortable. There aren’t many other hotels that can match the Hyatt Place when you factor in what you get for the price. Thanks Hyatt Place for being there for this weary traveler and his family!

Family of 5. Rooms are nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would have gotten 5 stars if the air conditioning worked better. It leaked out and barely kept the room below 79 degrees. Very quiet and comfortable though.

It was a nice place to stay. Comfortable beds, spacious room. The room took several hours to cool down and the breakfast not worth the extra charge, but the pool was clean and really nice.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel due to Little League Allstar Tournament. From the time we arrived Thursday until we left on Saturday we had exceptional service. From moving quickly to check us in; assistance with grandchildren at breakfast and such servant attitudes. Would highly recommend for service and location. Can take many back roads from hotel and move about Columbia/Irmo without getting on the Interstate.

This is my second time coming here and it is even better than last year. The staff is great, breakfast is good, and room is nice and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Traci was awesome. Hyatt place was used as a room block for my wedding April 2018. They were amazing. From providing information to the guest upon arrival, to providing a shuttle service and also having an amazing room design!

By far the best experience I have ever had with a Hyatt place! I should know as a loyal Hyatt raving fan "Globalist". I always get exceptional service and special treatment beyond any other premier chain! The staff here at this Hyatt Place go above and beyond! I really felt like I was staying in the presidential suite of a Park Hyatt! Personalized service that went way above my expectations? Ebony and Dani were fantastic along with the rest of the to notch staff! I'll be back every chance I get!

A very clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very nice; clean and spacious. Breakfasts are really delicious. The fitness room was nice, but does not have any weights, just various machines. My only gripes are the slow elevators and the Wi-Fi that tends to boot me off every so often. The hotel is close enough to the nearby restaurants and easy access to the interstate.

Jose and Traci at the front Dest are fantastic customer service representatives. They both made sure my coworker and I had everything we needed and knew the locations of the hotel amenities. This location is very nice, fast Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable. The building is designed well too very quiet rooms and no matter where you park around the building you are basically the same distance from the elevator. The only thing we didn’t have that some hotels do have is a microwave in the room but that may just be our room style and there is one or two microwaves in the dinning are Thank you Jose and Traci I wouldn’t have posted this review if it wasn’t for your great service!

I love going to a hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It makes all the difference in the world. The Hyatt Place Columbia/Harbison has that and more. The room was well maintained and the king bed was very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was less than satisfactory, but honestly how many people need to use it? I will stay here again.

This place is very accommodating. Good clean spacious rooms. Nice breakfast with quality coffee in the morning. Friendly staff!

We stayed here in December as a 1/2 way point on our journey. The rooms are lovely, clean, and comfy. We had an issue with the first room they gave us, but they were quick to change us to a new room and we had a very pleasant stay. Complimentary breakfast was great and they had a lot to choose from. Definitely recommend.

I would rate this hotel zero stars if I could. I was booked for two nights. However Hyatt decided it was okay to check us out and back in between nights. In doing so one of the rooms was cleaned and given to another customer. One of my employees belongings were moved to the lost and found. Hyatt did not seem to care about the sensitivity in dealing with other people's belongings as if this were no big deal. They also refused to take any of the blame (despite me making the reservation at the front desk) and instead just stated they do not know how this could happen. The general manager had no sort of plan make the situation right. We will never stay at a Hyatt again. Hampton Inn from now on.

Location is convenient to I-26, and is right next door to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Palmetto Health hospital is right across the street. Check in was quick and painless; staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy, and I really liked the layout that somewhat separated the sitting/work area from the sleeping area. You don't feel as though you're just in a bedroom. The hot breakfast was OK (not amazing, but tasty, no extra cost, a good variety and all you can eat). I have already started recommending this place. I will likely be back myself.

A very nice and clean, comfortable room. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel served a hot breakfast as well. It is located in a great location, right off I-26 north of Columbia proper.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean room. Check in staff was kind and friendly. There was a good variety of breakfast food. Only suggested improvement would be to their dinner menu. Ordered a couple pizzas and sandwiches. They took very long time to have them ready and servings were small and pricey.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was every bit as nice as the first. Staff is very courteous and the rooms are well cleaned and comfy.

Check in was smooth and literally like 2 mins. Showed my ID/put a CC on file and got the breakfast hrs/after hrs use room key for all doors/elevator location spill. Room was clean and bed was super comfy. Room layout was the first I’ve seen this way but I enjoyed it. Large TV you can watch from the sitting area or turn to the bed area. Fridge/wetbar, desk, bathroom were all clean and in good working condition. Breakfast the next morning had some good selections. I love Hyatt Brand hotels. This location did not let me down!

We got there around 2 and there were no rooms and we found out we had two reservations. One with the 800 number and one with the hotel. The front desk clerk was not helpful. She didn't just cancel her reservation, she said we had to call 800 number and cancel. She, however, did not know the number. It took my husband 20 minutes to cancel. The next morning, we requested a late check out and the said they don't normally do that but they would get back to us. They never got back to us. Disappointing.

I stayed at Hyatt Place while in town for the week on business. As I checked into my room I was impressed with the look of the hotel. When I got to the room, it was spacious with a couch and TV that could be watched in living room area or from the bed. I went to the bathroom and found multiple long hairs on the wall of the shower. It was late so I just went to bed and told staff the next day. Got back to my room that evening and the hairs were STILL THERE! I called to the front desk and Juan came up and cleaned the bathroom wall. I later found hair and dust in the fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable and other than a maid that can’t clean a room, I enjoyed it.

This place is run like a Hyatt. We had called before making the reservation and spoke with Jade who was an absolute delight. She assured us of parking our truck that was hauling a trailer and was even able to preassign us a very quiet room away from the elevator since I am very light sleeper. Breakfast was great and the morning crew was pleasant. The host at desk gave me some vanilla syrup for my coffee after I asked and didn't make me feel like it was a burden at all — all smiles. The room smelled wonderful and was very clean and comfortable. The room tranquility was what really made the trip and the accommodation from Jade. Thank you! Would totally be back for a visit.

This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff treated me like family and made sure all my needs were met (I had my two young daughters with me) and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as great as possible. A huge thank you to April for making check-in work for me and for all she did to help make things as easy as possible for me. Jeanine and Julliette were also a joy and made sure my girls and I were treated like royalty. I would absolutely recommend this particular Hyatt Place Hotel to anyone staying in the area and if I ever have to stay in a hotel again, this is absolutely where I'll go! Thank you everyone at Hyatt Place Columbia/Harbison for making our stay so wonderful! You ALL went way above and beyond for us during a difficult time in our lives. Room very comfortable. Slept like a baby. Room was very clean and accommodating. The folks at the front desk are a little stuffy and just barely human. They seem put out by us so we just avoided them. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay as long as you don't need to interact with the staff.

I booked this room to add an extra day to a trip. The staff at check in was very helpful. My room was on the 6th floor. There is a sofa, work station/desk, closet, refrigerator and 2 double beds. The beds are very comfortable and I slept great. There are onsite amenities such as food and drinks. There is also a cracker barrel restaurant next door. It would be nice if they provided bottled water in the rooms, even for a fee.

The bed was very much comfortable, and helped us was very helpful. Their response time to some request for a little bit slower than desired, however, for the amount of people they had, it was pretty well.

Had already booked a room. Moved us to another hotel that honored the reservation, but had already been charged by the hotel for a room I didn't get. Booking error, I'll assume, but it would have been nice to have been called ahead of time than drive all the way there, just to drive to another location. They had my info already, because it was on the sheer given to me to take to the other location.

Had a very short 1.5 hour stay for resting while on a long drive. Room was fine, had older style AC. Staff were fantastic overnight, not like the normal 11-7 staff. Room was clean. Hotel even called before I arrived to confirm, and made up room key before I arrived. Would go again.

It was a great experience. Very comfortable bed and amazing rooms. I also loved the breakfast they had. Quite scrumptious. :)

Clean rooms, excellent service. Had a bit of a mishap getting placed in the correct room, but it was remedied. Breakfast is fantastic for a hotel breakfast, very nice. The rooms are beautiful.

I made reservations months ago and requested a specific tion because the layout was good for my bad leg. I check in… they had in the notes that I asked for the specific room but he said whoever did the reservation didn't do it. No apology… is a shame… this was our go to place.

I just stayed here for 4 nights. Very nice spacious and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good every morning. I only have 2 complaints. The hair dryer has no high setting. Took me forever to dry my hair. I would recommend not putting someone actoss from kitchen. I would use that room as last resort. Very noisy in the morning and some noise at night.
I would stay here again!

Excellent staff. Well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good as well, but no bacon! Pets are welcome here, but the fee seems a bit high. At any rate, would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The room was nice and the hot breakfast was better than expected. My chief complaint lies in the associate that set up our reservations for my three coworkers and I. We sent in CC authorization forms that were somehow "never submitted", forcing the employees and I to use our personal credit cards to put on file for the hotel. This places needless financial strain on most individuals and sets the tone for a poor experience, despite the rest of the stay being a generally pleasant experience.

Our family loves this hotel chain. We always have a great experience. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always neat and clean. This location was easy to access and had good access to restaurants and the highway.

Pretty nice place to stay. Only complaint is how loud the neighboring doors shut. Can become a neusance when trying to sleep.

Clean room. Staff was friendly. Would have given 5 stars if the HDMI ports worked on the TV. I was told by maintenance that they are 17 years old and we'd be lucky if we had a room where they worked. So, don't expect to hook up a Xbox or laptop to the TV.

This Motel is great. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they offered top notch service to anything we needed. The rooms were clean and the rooms are very spacious. Another great feature of this Motel is the wonderful breakfast that is served every morning, anything from hot sandwiches to fresh fruit this breakfast is among the best. I would highly recommend staying at this place.

Its ok… 3rd floor under construction I think because of mildew in the walls so allergies may be a problem here and they accept dog's. The breakfast is good and the service is also good. I'm giving them three stars because due to renovations my hot water wasn't working and the mildew bothered me.

This hotel seemed really nice when I entered the lobby, but upon entering my room for the night, I noticed that there was a fine layer of white dust covering everything in the room. When I went to discuss this with the hotel clerk, they said it was because the room had been renovated, and that the handyman had left it like that. He also left no locks on the bathroom door. Also all of the wallpaper in the hallway had been partially ripped out. And there was some sort of strange mold growing underneath the ripped out wallpaper. I feel as though if I had come at a later time when the renovations have been 100% complete, my stay would have been much better.
