Review of Residence Inn 3*

The Residence Inn Charleston North location was a fantastic stop after a long day on the road. Immediately upon arrival, I was invited to the Residence Inn MIX. A weekday social hour, offering complimentary food and drink, as well as a chance to mingle with the other guests. The offerings change daily, but the Tuesday I stayed, they had burgers right off the grill as well as a salad bar, also beer/wine/soda. Again, all of this on the house. It's worth noting that the mixer is held in a large, comfortable area right off of the lobby. Ample seating, as well as a large outdoor patio complete with fire pit. Very welcoming and very comfortable. Plenty of staff was on hand to assure guests were taken care of or just to shoot the breeze. Everyone here was so nice! Speaking of staff, the crew here at Residence Inn Charleston North are top-notch. Every person I spoke with from the front desk, to maintenance, housekeeping, and management was pleasant, courteous and helpful. Morning, evening, and even late night. Residence Inn should be especially proud of the staff at this particular location. With all of the fun downstairs (including a pool, fitness room, and Wi-Fi) you might not even want to head to your room. When you do, though, you will be thrilled. I had a very large suite with a full kitchen. Exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The main sitting room in the suite offered plenty of seating and workspace. I often do a lot of work from the hotel room and occasionally host meetings, so this was much appreciated. Overall, the Residence Inn Charleston North location offered one of the finer hotel experiences I've had. The highlights here are the staff, atmosphere, and spacious accommodations. Definitely recommended.
