Review of Home2 Suites 3*

Third trip here and I will return. I'll describe my experience so it will be a useful review, but first, I want to give credit to two employees who went above and beyond. G. G. Made a friend of my 4 year old at breakfast and he was very fond of her. Greg at the front desk made check in very smooth and pleasant. The extra kindness shown by both of them made me take note to be sure to include in my review. First, I will say that the manager made sure we enjoyed our trip. There were several special touches left for us and it made a possibly stressful trip much more calm and convenient. As another high point, I want to point out the sheets. My most recent hotel stay was in a very high end hotel and the sheets at the Home2Suites were better. Softer and more comfortable. The sleep quality was great — comfortable mattresses, very little noise, and good light reduction from the blinds. There was a night light type feature on the outlet by the bathroom that was a bit bright for my tastes, so I laid my beach bag up against it to block it (I like a very dark room). The staff was very attentive and friendly and the location of this hotel is perfect — convenient to all the things we were trying to get to in Charleston. I had no trouble with anything and found the room to be well-stocked and exactly what we needed. The place was completely booked due to the solar eclipse occurring at the time of our visit and the staff had it all handled. Check in took 2 minutes, the room was ready, people seemed to be happy, and all was right with the world.
