My husband and I stayed here for three nights in the Violet room and wow! Just an absolutely wonderful stay. The owners are such fabulous and kind people, the room so clean and super comfy. I’d also like to say every local restaraunt around is so wonderful and very cheap! The breakfasts here were AMAZING! She wouldn’t let you leave for a hike on the trails, or our ride home, without some homemade muffins that were different everyday and so so good! I absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay around Ricketts Glen! A huge thank you to Sharon and Dan for the best home away from home experience, great conversation, and wish you both continued success and a wonderful time in Florida in the winter! (Eating my banana muffin she made for us this morning in the car as I write this. Holy cow. Sharon can’t I bring you home to make me muffins every morning! Haha! )
The hosts, Sharon and Dan are very welcoming and friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms and a tremendous breakfast made with love. Very good deal!

This is my second stay at the Mattress & Muffin Inn! I enjoyed my first visit so much that after a trying time with cancer treatment I chose to return here for the peaceful surroundings, warm hospitality, delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms! JP.
