They advertise they had spas in the room was a tub instead Charged me twice I booked on line then they changed me when I got here more than the first time There are no amenities in the room Coffee microwave ectWasn’t with the 600 I paid for the room.

Absolutely phenomenal experience all around. Hotel staff is eager and willing to help you with everything and anything. We had a slight inconvenience in our hotel room and we were promptly switched to another room with even better accommodations. We we’re told our room might be a bit smaller, which was fine by us. Upon entering our new room we were blown away. Magnificent in every way. Tatiana, Conner, Trevor, Joe, everyone we encountered were delightful, prompt, and amazing with our three children, 12, 8, & 4.

This space is gorgeous, we loved the design. My girlfriend and I have stayed at a few Kimpton hotels, this one did not disappoint. Grace at the front desk was SO accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Thank you to everyone and especially Grace! We will be back :)

Loved the hotel. Totally chic. Rooms are amazing. The yoga mats super thoughtful. Very dog friendly as are all Kimptons. Unfortunately hotel fully booked and under staffed so room service was horrid. But that's OK. Tons of great places to eat. Loved all of Matt's recommendations.

One of the worst customer service hotels we have experienced. Unfriendly staff. Unhelpful. Asked 5 times for extra towels and sleeping pillows for our 10 year old boys. Took 3 hours to find after us calling 5 times asking for updates. This morning it is our son’s birthday and we asked several times for a candle in a pancake (anything to make him feel special) but they “forgot”. The refused to also change our sheets (we had pizza and spilled sauce on bed and asked to please change). Location and style of lobby is great but all else fails miserably. I’m shocked as I love Kimpton and can’t believe they allowed a general manager to run this place in such a way Anna Powers and Mark Miklosovich.

Restaurant was marginal at best. Mediocre service. Had to send meals back because they came out stone cold. Second service — one was hot and one was cold. I told the server and he just walked away. Didn’t eat the meal, but had to pay for it. Definitely would skip this place.

It’s been a Delight staying here at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. The building itself is beautiful. The room was expressive in all the right ways. What makes that experience different from the average one, what makes me remember a place, however, is people. At the front desk we were met by a few wonderful characters.
The staff in its entirety, unified our belief that management is clearly doing something right. Emily, Alexandra and Christine were all extremely helpful during our stay!
We love to eat so of course we started up culinary conversation. Alexandra really shined with her passion and open minded enthusiasm for all things new and exciting happening in Pittsburgh’s gastronomical world. Thanks for the great stay, can’t wait to come back!

Hotel was great, however avoid their valet! Valet drove our vehicle and decided that curbing our vehicle would be a good idea… Not once has our vehicle been in an accident or even curbed, their driver had a joy ride for 5 minutes and slammed it off the curb got out of the car and was like what did I do? Really? You have no idea what you just did? Still have yet to hear from the hotel on this matter. Over 24 hours since checkout and no contact from them.

Great location — enjoyed the biergarten beer selections, and bavarian pretzels. The rest of the food selections were minimal and way overpriced. Fun place to visit, just don't go hungry.

This hotel is beautiful. We are here for a wedding weekend and so far everything is looking great. The rooms have a unique design style and they definitely have personality. The bathroom does not have an intake fan, but that's just my observation. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock but the fancy barn style door is very heavy so it won't randomly slide open. The Commoner is an awesome restaurant. The food is delicious (fried chicken sandwich for lunch is a must! ) Great drinks too. The hotel has a daily happy hour with free wines and a few other forms of alcohol too, so that is a bonus. There is also a rooftop Biergarten with beers and foods which looked mighty tasty.

We recently hosted a company event at the Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh. From beginning to end, the staff was incredible. We ended up having more guests than we anticipated and the on site event coordinator handled the evening calmly and efficiently — we were so thankful! Not only is the hotel beautiful, but everyone from the receptionist to the wait staff to the event coordinator was so wonderful to work with! Would certainly recommend having your event here!

Fun, cool, great restaurant in the basement, cool rooftop bar, lounge with games. Inexplicable (but cool) birdcage theme. Near downtown locations and the ballpark. Fancier, more expensive hotels surround it. Stroll down "strawberry lane" alley nearby to the shops. Park across the way has a fountain. They treated us well, good concierge and n bellhop, and Über confess quickly.

Lovely place for an event. The entrance foyer was a perfect place to set the stage for taking formal pictures. The main room was well laid out with food to one side, with plenty of places for people to sit and relax. The dance floor was separate from the food and seating area, making it easy to converse and strike up conversations with people. There was just enough of an archway to be able to catch a glimpse of the dance floor to figure out whether you wanted to get up on it. Be thankful that the drinks are so overpriced you could start a retirement account just by not buying one. I think I fully funded my IRA just by not drinking that night. You can use valet service. Or you can have the choice of ample parking close by. This establishment seems comfortable with Black people.

I recently traveled to Pittsburgh with two of my older teenage sons. We were heading to a family memorial service and made this stop along the way, we could not have picked a better place to explore this fabulous city. The atmosphere is awesome, love the rooftop! Got to watch World Cup and eat a fresh made Bavarian pretzel! The desk gals were incredibly sweet and thoughtful making our stay unforgettable. The accommodations are top notch! Great experience — highly recommend.

This is an awesome hotel in general. Comfortable bed with Frette sheets great for sleeping and the design of the room is interesting. The only drawback is it seems like the body lotion bottle in our room had been used as it run out so quickly. Hope the housekeeping can pay more attention to details next time.

Our bellman Matt was delightful, check in was easy and informative. They were helpful with all questions. The restaurant downstairs we went to before closing to order dessert, they were out of most items, one was good and one was not that great. Then on to late night room service, ordered the Turkey and Roast beef lunch meat sandwich, menu stated cheese bacon lettuce and tomato, once we received it an hour later, it was literally 2 slices of Turkey on bread? Called asked if they can remake correctly, still waiting 45 additional minutes… The room was spacious, but has a funky odor I cant describe. Overall it was average for a higher end hotel. Round two with the room service, they remade the sandwiches and left off the cheese now, I just have to laugh and brush it off.

Excellent in all areas, I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. My room was not only unique and beautifully decorated, it was created thoughtfully with plenty of plugins and various types of lighting. It included a lovely full length mirror, two robes and of course the top notch service of the Kimpton brand. We held a two day meeting with CEO types and never had a complaint. The front desk staff, the meeting planners, and the F&B staff were all wonderful. The restaurant, "The Commoner" was really good as well! Triple gold star!

This is an awesome hotel for business and personal travelers alike. The rooms are very neat and cozy and the decor is very stylish and elaborate. I especially liked the chandelier in a birdcage that provided the mail source of light for the room. Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, this hotel is only a short walk away from many local attractions.

This was our first trip to Pittsburgh and we were looking for a comfortable hotel as a base for our weekend. The Kimpton Hotel Monaco exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, especially Dwayne at the front desk at Miesha. The room was phenomenal and being in the cultural district had a wonderful charm to it. We had a pleasant surprise upon checking in of being directed to their complimentary happy hour which was a wonderful way to start our evening and socialize with other guests. The restaurant in the hotel, The Commoner, had great food and we would highly recommend trying one of their craft cocktails. While the price was slightly higher than we would normally spend on a hotel, it was well worth it and we will definitely be staying here our next trip to Pittsburgh.

This is an AWESOME hotel in every way. The rooms are extremely comfortable and feel luxurious no matter the size (I've been in everything from the suites to the corner spa rooms and basic rooms and all are fabulous). The gym is perfectly adequate and comfortable with plenty of water and towels (though sometimes the treadmills are in overly high demand). The shared common spaces, such as the lobby and mezzanine sitting room are beautifully appointed and decorated. Most importantly, the staff is STELLAR. I had a group of VIP clients stay here and the staff graciously and patiently stepped up to every single demand we made (and there were many). I will be recommending this hotel to absolutely every client I have who is headed to Pittsburgh.

VERY lovely place! It was hard to get a hold of the front desk prior to our arrival, the person we spoke to on the phone was not the front desk and therefore the requests we had made were not received even though we were assured they would be. HOWEVER the staff was very on top of everything thereafter! Excellent service.

I love love loved my stay at Monaco. The room was fun, and sexy plus the colors made me feel alive. My husband choose this hotel for my surprise stay because of the bathroom though. He wanted me to enjoy a luxurious bath or two and he was spot on. The bathroom… I was so impressed and completely enamored. The salmon dinner we ordered… best salmon I've tasted. And I eat lots of salmon. Overall… it's definitely somewhere I wld stay again… and again. Lovely Hotel.

Kimpton is a boutique hotel that offers interesting interior decorated rooms. Service is great. I love the "living room" on the first floor with coffee and tea in the morning. You can also write a postcard and the hotel will mail it for you for free… even internationally. That was pretty neat. I stayed in a king bed room. The size was good and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the outrageous price for a bottle of water in the hotel room… $7 for a normal bottle of water when some other hotel gives you two each day for free… thank God that convenient store is within couple blocks and Starbucks is next door. Overall, it was a good stay.

Absolutely lovey hotel. Beautiful decor throughout. The hotel is right next to an underground parking garage that makes it super easy to tavel around. The room, a corner suite, was exquisite. The tub and shower were amazing. Several different soaps and shampoos were already provided. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept like logs. Location is perfect to explore downown and the surrounding area. We're definitely staying here again when we return to Pittsburgh.

Fantastic, cozy, ultra-kitschy hotel in the heart of downtown. The location isn't the closest to any of the must-see sights or attractions, but it's a great place for a weekend getaway, and only a short walk to the cultural district and convention center. Parking is valet only, and can be slow during peak hours, so plan ahead. If you have the time, the restaurant in the basement (The Commoner) is a restored speakeasy, with fantastic cocktails and a terrific brunch menu. Overall, a great experience!

This hotel was very nice. It was very clean all around, and there was plenty of space to lounge inside the hotel. The restaurant was a bit pricy. The rooms were very nicely decorated full of color and it had a very relaxing feel to it. Located right in the heart of Pittsburgh, you can walk anywhere. We stayed and walked to Heinz field. The parking lot around the corner is very close so definitely park there if you want to save money.

Perfect hotel for a quick overnight stay. We opted for a nearby parking garage, which was only $15 overnight. Love that the hotel is dog friendly without any random fees added on top.

I stayed here with a work retreat a couple weeks ago. Overall I had a really wonderful time, the rooms are well appointed in a funky/classic meets modern style, the staff courteous, and the service for the two meals they catered for the all day meeting that we held in the ball room was really good. I loved meeting other guests during the wine hour in the evening, and the location can't be beat. The rooftop Biergarten is small but cool space, the view wasn't be best, since the building is shorter than those around it, but the weather was great and we had a great time. I even spied rooftop garden beds just over the railing (I hope those belong to the Monaco too, so cool! ) The only disappointment was that my boyfriend accidentally left a significant amount of cash in my car after dinner the last night and it wasn't there when the valet returned it the next day. I reported a very precise timeline to the valet manager who said he would file a report but we never heard back. (FYI people: valets at most places are an independent company from the hotel/business so there is little that can often be done if something goes missing. It's a really good idea to just never leave valuables in your car no matter what. )

Kimpton is a great chain any way you look at it. You can comfortably book a room in any of their hotels without hesitation. The Monaco Pittsburgh has some of the coolest rooms that really match the city's character, the decor is super fabulous and the whole hotel is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and it was a huge pleasure to stay there.

Awesome boutique hotel in downtown. We chose this hotel for its fun, creative interior decor (may not be for everyone) and location. We had an amazing corner room with several windows, super comfy king bed and great smelling toiletries! The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. We were sad the rooftop patio was closed (apparently seasonal) but they did a happy hour from 5-6 that includes free beer and wine. We will absolutely stay here upon returning to Pittsburgh and would recommend it to anyone!

Location in heart of downtown and in walking distance of many eateries. Parking is very near especially the one under a park. Decor is modern, funky, colorful and comfortable. The 5-6 pm happy hour each day is excellent for meeting other people. Great way to start the evening. People are willing to share where to go for a night out. The open air biergarten is fun and has nice views. Tasty appetizers and good value on drinks. Rooms are comfortable with modern decor spacious shower soft robes. Definitely worth the premium prices paid the room.

Fantastic boutique hotel within walking distance of most attractions. Great restaurant, rooftop lounge, and many visual details in its decor. Right down to the wallpaper in the closet! Room was very quiet, comfortable, with a large shower rather than standard tub. I will definitely return!

Didn't stay as an overnight guest but, was there for a wedding and the hotel was very nice. Very nice lobby upon entry and cool upper common area with different style couches, chairs, and fireplaces. Hotel staff seemed to be on the ball throughout the night. Food was amazing and the event rooms were amazing.

They have free wine and beer tasting of local beer and wines every day. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice and the food is great. Service at the hotel and the restaurant was terrific. My husband and I love this hotel! They have a great restuarant (The Commoner) that serves eclectic drinks and food. The service is great. They have a FREE wine and beer happy hour. The rooms are contemporary and chic and the staff is super friendly. We stay here almost every time we come to Pittsburgh.

I called the front desk to see if payment was taken before or after our stay and the lady that I spoke to was not sweet and personable. She made me feel like I should know the answer to the questions I was asking and also gave me smart answers. Not impressed especially for how nice the hotel is supposed to be!

Clean and comfortable. I don't think this is a five star hotel but the staff was helpful and accommodations were good. The decor is cool.

My friends and I came here after a wedding ceremony to kill time before the reception. We went to the rooftop bar and had a beer/cider/wine. It was a great view and the drinks were delicious. They had long picnic table that could accommodate a lot of people. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were fully taken care of. They made sure our dog, Dixie, was treated like a queen too! The only "complaint" would be the cost of the restaurant in the hotel, but that is to be expected at any hotel. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

We were in the stunning ballroom. The food was served hot and was delicious. The service was also impeccable. We will absolutely host another event at this venue.

Nicely appointed and clean. Good service at the desk. Unfortunately lots of trouble with hotel staff. Bought us two broken cribs. Needed to ask for everything twice. Location is in downtown but on the very northern edge. Can be abandoned around the hotel. But the heart of things is only a ten min walk away.

I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those travelling with a dog. The staff went out of their way to be kind to my dog, Daisy. I was so impressed with the welcoming and relaxed attitude of being able to have my dog with me on this trip. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and fun! We loved eating at the Commoner and our Saturday night wine welcome was lovely! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and look forward to staying at more Kimpton locations! The front desk reception and doormen were 10 out of 10!

New, clean rooms. Nice setup. Dog friendly, and very nice to our pup, which was super convenient. Smart features like USB on the night tables and a shower without a gross tub or curtain. All around great place. Highly recommend.

Conner, at the front desk, was exceptional. My check-in went very smoothly. I also appreciate that he took the time to map our where we should eat for lunch and directions on how to catch the T Train to and from Heinz Field. The lobby was jam packed, with Beyonce's background dancers I might add, and somehow he still mad me feel like I was on the only customer in the room! Tanisha, in housekeeping, was also very friendly. She had a very personable/inviting way about her. Hopefully she doesn't get in trouble for this, but we invited her in our room, briefly, to give us some ideas about where to party or dine after the concert. She reminds me of one of my friends from back home. She was also very professional. Please note she is very professional. ALSO, I love how discreet your staff is. We inquired several times if Beyonce and her staff were also in the hotel and they denied denied denied. Even those the very group of ladies we saw in the lobby were later on stage with the Queen! The only thing I did NOT enjoy was the 100$ on my charge card. Or more so that I was not made aware. My room was prepaid, so I was only expecting the 35.00$ overnight valet charge. While I know it will be released and I will be credited the difference, I do believe that is something customers should be made aware of at check out.

The Hotel Monaco was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and even left a nice treat in our room for our wedding night stay. The room was amazing, especially the bathroom. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

The Hotel Monaco was the most comfortable night I've sleep I've ever had. (Perhaps, I was just really tired from the 335 mile bike ride from D. C. To get there! ) The check-in was a breeze. Despite having a small lobby and being a weekday afternoon, there was no line. The staff was extremely friendly and in less than 2 minutes I was fully checked in and heading toward my room. They didn't raise an eyebrow when my friend and I said that we'd prefer to take our wet and dirty bicycles up to our room instead of using the secure storage that they provided. (We were planning to catch a very early Amtrak and wanted to make sure we'd be able to get the bikes to train with no hang-ups). The decor was modern and posh. The room was priced below the standard 3 star hotels in the downtown area. The bluetooth speaker (mini-jambox by Jawbone) was an unexpected amenity. (A few notes on the hotel restaurant) The Commoner was a very great bar with exceptionally talented mixologists. They were charismatic, professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgable about a wide variety of cocktails and had no problems immediately knowing how to make the obscure (ish) cocktail that I ordered. The food was excellent and priced appropriately for downtown.

The Hotel Monaco is perhaps the best hotel experience I have ever had. Although I am a Pittsburgh resident, I and my friend who also lives in the city, still spend the night at the hotel just for the great experience! Also, The Commoner restaurant as well as the beer garden are fantastic! The only negative feedback one could possibly give is that the restaurant's hostess team is regularly unprofessional and rude, which is why I can only give 4 out 5 stars. The rest of the staff however is amazing! I highly recommend.

Beautiful design, and insanely polite staff (a Pittsburgh staple). Complimentary wine hour between five and six. Complimentary wine. For an hour. The restaurant downstairs is in a beautiful space and the new menu is delish (Sorry, I become Rachel Ray after a couple of bottles of complimentary wine). Love it here.

Love the Modern take on the old fashioned feel. Everyone I have come into contact at the hotel has been amazing and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any personal or professional trip!

The hotel was nice. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. BUT the valet parking was absolutely ridiculous. We paid to have our car valet parked, only to find that it was left on the side of a random street. AND they parked our car halfway up on a curb! It was NOT in a parking garage, even though there was a parking garage available for us to self park (for less money) right up the street. Very displeased with the valet parking. We could have parked our car on the side of the road ourselves and not paid the valet fee, but we wanted our car to be parked in a safe parking garage or at least parking lot, not the side of the road! There was also an issue with the mini bar. When we arrived, luckily we checked the mini bar and found many empty bottles of liquor. We immediately informed the staff at the front desk so we would not be charged. When my credit card statement came, we were charged for all of the empty bottles. I called the hotel and they were very helpful and friendly with resolving the issue. Again, the hotel and staff were nice, BUT the valet parking needs much improvement. (Side note, would have liked to see vegan or vegetarian options on the menu. )

Bottom line, there is no more fun, responsive, or better located property than the Hotel Monaco for your Pittsburgh wedding block needs. My wife and I worked with the Hotel Monaco for our March 6, 2016 wedding weekend. From our initial interactions with Paige to book our block of rooms, to our final goodbyes to Marissa and the front desk staff, the Hotel Monaco offered an incredible experience for us and our guests. The rooms themselves fully fit the feel for our wedding: fun, comfortable, and eclectic. Our guests enjoyed the colorful decor, the free Friday happy hour, and the delicious food at the hotel restaurant. My wife and I reserved a suite for two nights and let me tell you: I have never stayed in a more beautifully composed room in my life (spacious, luxurious, etc. ). The hotel offered us competitive rates for our room block that were comparable to other properties in the area. The service is what really made our experience special. Marissa and team at the front desk were incredibly responsive to all of our needs. They provided us with the small things we forgot/needed ranging from fashion tape to a screw driver. They were also went out of their way to accommodate our special requests, always with a smile and eagerness to provide wonderful service. My wife and I can't say enough great things about the hotel! Thanks!

The hotel is gorgeous, but we were disappointed by certain aspects of the service. Let me start by saying this hotel has a lot going for it: the rooms are beautiful and modern, the hotel restaurant is awesome, housekeeping was good, and room service was good. There were some significant downsides, though. The most significant downside is the valet parking. It was a huge ordeal every time we wanted to get our car. When we checked in, the valet said to call or text 15 or 20 minutes in advance to get your car brought around. Saturday morning when we went to leave for my son's first birthday party (which is why we were in town) it took an hour to get our car. We called down 20 minutes in advance and when we got down to the lobby, it was a mad house. We waited and waited. Several times we were asked for our ticket number again. I inquired as to whether the car was coming and was assured it was. It was about an hour from when we called that the car finally showed up. The staff did apologize for the wait and we were told they would remove the valet parking fee. It was a frustrating experience nonetheless. The following day it took about 45 minutes to get our car brought around. Finally, this morning it was 35 minutes (and this was at 7:45 am when no one else was waiting). I have no idea what the malfunction is with the valet service, but I have not experienced anything like this at any of the comparable hotels in the city.

The Hotel Monaco went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Connor and Rachel went out of their way to make my girlfriend's birthday even more special. They upgraded us to a suite, made sure we had everything we needed and even surprised us with chocolate, fruits, and a bottle of wine after we came back to the room from dinner. To top it all off, they even included a hand written note which showed how much they actually cared. The hotel itself was also incredibly clean and welcoming, the room was very spacious and the valet service was perfect for not worrying about parking in the busy streets of Pittsburgh. I will absolutely be returning for another visit and will recommend the Hotel Monaco to all my friends.

Clean modern rooms with a friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located and has a pretty good bar/restaurant located on the lower level. Although for some reason the price of the same glass of scotch rose by $5 from afternoon to night.

Rooms are pretty sweet, as is the lobby and common area. Staff was helpful. It's a bus hotel, so if you want a quiet romantic getaway, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want to mix it up in the heart of Pittsburgh, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place. If you are planning to have dinner, make reservations. They do save a few spots at the bar for hotel guests, but if you want a table, you'll need to plan ahead. Hotel is well within walking distance to ballparks and downtown venues. Favorite part was that our housekeeper left us a personal note each day.

The hotel is located in downtown, near everything. Convenient valet parking (although you can use public parking lot on the corner below the park, 5 dlls overnight during weekend, cheap and safe). The room was so nicely decorated. Although the shower needs a door, but everything else in the room was perfect. Room service was on point; food and staff were so nice. Highly recommend this hotel in your next trip to Pittsburgh. Biergarten? Bar on the rooftop of the hotel with excellent view and awesome beer.

So far not as good as I expected. We arrived and asked the valet attendant about the prices for valet and let him know that we were hotel guest. We got some clarification. Despite the steep $35 a night valet cost we decided go ahead and do it. The valet attendant did not open the door for myself or my wife. We were not immediately asked if we had bags. We had to mention it ourselves. One attendant asked if we needed a cart, disappeared and did not come back. We waited a minute or two. Meanwhile the luggage cart was in plain sight inside the doorway empty. Another attendant saw us and asked if we needed a cart the second time and walked right in a got the cart I was looking at. Not the best first impression after driving from Detroit for a mini-honeymoon. We entered the lobby and checked-in without much of an issue. The lobby is awesome with a cool style. Not too over the top (for my tastes at least). We got to our room and since we forgot some things they were able to bring them up. It took a couple calls for them to pick, but they may have had a rush of check-ins at the front desk. We asked for a cork-screw which was in the mini-bar that is locked by a physical key. We didn't get the key when we checked in. They brought us a key and it didn't work. Someone came up and they tried and when our key didn't work they used there key and it worked. Response times were great. The rooms are awesome and very clean. They don't have an outdated iPod dock that most hotels have.

My room was very nicely decorated. The front desk people were welcoming and accommodating. Very clean and comfortable at a great location.

Just found out the waiter at beer garden took $100 for our tab, and also charged our card! Now I am really unhappy! There is no way this hotel is anything close to 5 star. It looks like a color blind wanna be decorator shopped hotel furniture graveyard, and painted the pieces the weirdest colors possible to disguise how ugly they were. The lobby chandelier consists of strings of plastic flowers. Instead of art, they have hung cheap wire bird cages painted different colors. The light fixture next to the bed was a bird cage with a chandelier inside it. Really? And the over sized flowery wall paper in the hallways to your room made you feel like you were in the Little shop of horrors. Sadly, the hotel could have been very chic — done in neutrals without the Kitsch Next time I will stay at the old, but elegant William Penn next door.

Being on the road almost constantly I feel like I know my way around hotels and especially the service of hotels. This is hands down my best hotel stay experience that I have ever had. My wife and I decided to get away for the 4th of July weekend and after discovering that almost every hotel wanted to charge an absurd amount of money to allow our 5lb dog to stay with us I decided to book my stay at the Hotel Monaco. Everything from the room (we were upgraded to a suite simply because they didn't have a standard room that matched my preferred preference) to the doggy room service menu to the valet was superb. From here on out if I am able I will only and always book with Kimpton hotels.

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at and I travel quite a bit. I checked in late on a Tuesday and was greeted with a smile. I went up to my room and was blown away with the decor. On top of that, there was a hand written note with my name on it on the desk letting me know if there was anything they could do to help my stay, to let them know. Very nice. I walked downstairs the to restaurant/bar (The Commoner) and had a great meal with some great beers. The next day I realized their is a rooftop biergarten on the SAME FLOOR I was staying on. Needless to stay, 2 days here was not enough. Incredible.

This was one of the best all around experience I have ever had with a hotel. From check in to departure, our two nights at the hotel was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tommy the doorman was great to talk to and gave us helpful information. The desk attendants very helpful at 2 am to get a cab for our visitor. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

As a new hotel in town in 2015, we are so excited to create events in this hip and forward thinking venue. The event team is top notch, and we know our city is just loving having them here. The events planned for this space are going to be top notch and well done.

Really good hotel, Super friendly staff. We were only there for 1 night, but everything was impeccable. I would definitely book Hotel Monaco again the next time we head to Pittsburgh.

This will be the next great place. Mike the regional Manager made my day. His attitude is superb! I stayed in a single bed room and it was exellent. Super clean, good shower, and an amazing queen bed in a nicely styled room.
