Enjoyed our stay in the Rose Room. Gracious hosts. Scrumptious breakfast. What more could we ask for.

We just enjoyed a two night stay at Lovelace Manor. This was our first experience staying at a B&B and it will be happening more often! We really loved our room and our hosts Lark and Michael were so welcoming and informative! Immaculate, bright and very well decorated. We had many cups of delicious coffee and scrumptious gourmet breakfasts with lovely conversations! Cannot wait to go back.

Absolutely lovely establishment! Cozy, quaint and exceptionally clean! Lark and Michael are wonderful, attentive innkeepers and such a pleasure to spend time and chat with! We will definitely be returning!

Lovely hosts who provided THE best backroad map of Amish stores — deli, bakery, crafts, quilts, fabric. We would never have found most of these places without the map and directions they provided.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Lark was a fabulous host, the rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the food was great. Super easy to find, lots of parking and seamless check in/out. This will be our go-to B&B when we are near the Lancaster area.

Rooms are large. Gorgeous house. Inn keepers very nice. Breakfast was wonderful and served to you at the dining table. We really enjoyed our stay.

Innkeepers are very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. The breakfast is tasty. The rooms are historically correct and comfortable at the same time. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property. It is amazing how ivy takes on a whole new form when left go. It was surreal.

The Lovelace Manor is an incredibly nice bed and breakfast centrally located in Lancaster. Lark and Michael (the owners) were both there to greet us as soon as we arrived for our stay, and they both go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your time in their beautiful home. The inside of Lovelace is gorgeous and makes it tough to leave the house! We stayed in the Rose suite, which has it’s own bathroom with a luxuriously large claw-foot bath tub that easily accommodates two average sized people. It also has it’s own sitting room for you to lounge in, and it is the perfect room to sit and read or play a board game. The lovelace really feels like home. When you arrive check-in is easy peasy. Your room has 2 small glasses of port to welcome you. There is a butler’s pantry that is always stocked with coffee, tea, and small snacks if you need something. Lark provides her cell phone number so you always have a way to reach her. While we did not utilize this service, other guests mentioned how Lark and Michael arranged tours, dinners, etc. For them during their stay. The breakfast is really something special. More than one course every morning, a variety of fresh juices, coffee, and all on the most beautiful of place settings. We stayed two nights but we wish would could have stayed longer, and we hope to be back to experience all Lancaster has to offer in the summer! Thank you Lark and Michael for a wonderful stay!

We came to Lancaster to visit our son and family. Have stayed here several times but never at the Lovelace B&B. This is our new home away from home! Loved it! Michael and Lark are wonderful. Can’t say enough about there hospitality! The room was beautiful and had all amenities of modern day but made you feel like you had stepped back in time! I would highly recommend! No doubt where will stay on our next visit!

Charming Victorian Manor with lovely hosts. We loved the look and feel of the property. Hosts are quite pleasant and accommodating with good advice on activities in the area. Highly recommend staying at Lovelace if you have the chance.

The absolute best hosts at any B&B we've ever stayed at — and we've stayed at many. The graciousness was second to none and we never felt so at home. Breakfast's were wonderful and Lark and Michael made everyone seated at their table feel like family. We can't wait to return. Thank you for a great long weekend. Hope you're there another 17 years.

Lark and Michael run the best bed and breakfast in Lancaster. We always stay at Lovelace Manor, it's like staying with family.

Great place. The owners Lark and Mike were awesome. Breakfast was excellent. We had made mention that my gf had dietary restrictions and they make something special just for her.

The bed and breakfast was beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The location was very close to the action as well. Breakfast was phenomenal and the inn keepers did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Lovelace to anyone visiting Lancaster!

By far the very best there is Lark and Michael are warm and welcoming our second stay both visits we stayed in the Rose Suite I love soaking in a bath and the clawfoot tub in the Rose is over the top amazing breakfast sumptuous recommend the Lovelace Manor 100%

A great experience for us. Wifey wanted the best, so this is were we went. Ms Lark was pleasant and informative. Her hubby was just as complimentary (friendly, down to earth and funny). The host gave us an option to eat dinner with the Amish. It was a unforgettable experience. Definitely a repeat visit.

Lark and Michael graciously welcomed us to their home for the beginning of our honeymoon. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early so we didn't have to worry about bringing it after our reception, which was so helpful. If breakfast is important to you, and you appreciate good food that's made with care, look no further. Lark and Michael prepare the most delectable, home-cooked, multi-course breakfasts. We couldn't wait for breakfast every day! Additionally, they have fresh roasted coffee, cookies, drinks, and popcorn available all day and night. If you like sitting outside, you'll love their private back yard and huge southern-style porch. We liked our morning coffee out there. If you want a B&B in Lancaster County, Lovelace is the place!

Excellent accommodations. The breakfasts are delicious. Very convenient to Lancaster and the surrounding Amish countryside. Beautiful mansion. Michael and Lark are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about Pennsylvania. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We love the Lovelace Manor Bed & Breakfast. Michael and Lark are wonderful hosts; friendly, knowledgeable, and they have a passion for what they do. We stayed in the Rose room, each room has its own unique qualities while still being authentic to the home's style and architecture. Highly recommended this bed and breakfast for whenever you stay in Lancaster. Don't forget to visit Coco and the rest of the doves in the sanctuary, and ask Michael about his famous sausage gravy and biscuits!

Lovelace Manor B&B has thought of everything. The innkeepers, Lark & Michael, were amazing. We stayed in the "Rose Suite" and it was so cozy, comfy & roomy. The sheets were AMAZING. We had lots of room, TV w/DVD in bedroom area and TV in sitting area The most amazing soaking tub. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. If you go away from the breakfast table hungry it's your fault because there was ample food. They also had fresh baked cookies everyday we were there and a stocked butler pantry for our convenience. One of my favorite things was during our first morning during breakfast Lark sat with us and had coffee and shared info about the Amish community & customs that was interesting.

My family stayed at Lovelace Manor B&B recently in Lancaster, PA. We were completely impressed with the warmth of the hosts, the ambiance of the home, and the extreme attention to detail they provide to ensure your stay is outstanding! We have stayed in quite a few B&B's, many in Europe, and find the quality of this one to be far above many of those. The care they take to anticipate, meet your needs, and exceed expectations is note-worthy. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Lancaster area. On the map, it may appear a bit out of the most touristy areas, but it is quite convenient, while still in a serene setting.

As expected everything was wonderful. The breakfast was superior, the other guests pleasant, the atmosphere attractive and inviting. Sure to visit again. Added benefit is the many places to visit while staying.

The stay was wonderful — the home beautiful in every way. I told Lark that what really made the experience a cut above was her and her husband. They truly bring southern hospitality to Amish country. The breakfasts were amazing. Larks knowledge of the area and willingness to share it allowed us to really enjoy our exploring of the country there. 5 stars!

I recently rented out all 4 rooms at Lovelace Manor for the weekend of my wedding. I spoke with Lark for several months prior to the weekend to work out reservations / payments and weekend details. Lark was always very quick to respond and answered any and all questions I had along the way. The weekend of our reservation I could not have been more pleased with the accommodations! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast layout was fantastic! My bridal party us…ed the B&B as our headquarters to get ready, and Lark and Michael were very welcoming to the makeup crew as well as photographers that came in and took over the place! They were also very accommodating when our groomsmen as well as members of my husband's family came over to take pictures before the wedding. Really, the whole property was so beautiful I can't wait to see how the pictures came out! Overall, I will absolutely be back to the Lovelace, next time for a more relaxing trip, lol. If you're looking for a place to stay during your travels to or through Lancaster, I highly recommend the Lovelace Manor!

Beautiful home, lots of space, and comfortable beds. My daughter got married and all the girls from the wedding party stayed there, got dressed there and we did photos out side in the beautiful yard. Owners were so nice and respected our privacy and let us take over. Hot coffee ready when we got up and good breakfast buffet while we got ready. Close to everywhere we needed to be. Very happy with the whole experience.

We came to Lark & Michael with lots of special requests because we were celebrating a 50th anniversary and 75th birthday over the weekend, and they couldn't have been more accommodating! They truly made our stay memorable.

My husband and I recently stayed at Lovelace and it was wonderful. The room (Athea) although was there smallest is actually quiet large. The bed was comfortable and they provided everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious. I am Gluten Intolerant and Lark & Michael had muffins that were gluten free for me and she also makes her own granola which was amazing :) It was very wonderful. Lark and Michel were exceptional hosts. They had lots of information about where to go and what to do and where to eat that was helpful. (We ate dinner at The Aussie and the Fox one night… very good). My husband and I would definitely stay here again if we make it back up to lancaster :)
