Nice hotel… staff was awesome … my only complaint is The Cumru Township Police Department targeting people there and straight running plates in the parking lot. It seemed Everytime I went outside they were there … kind of made me and many other guests feel really uncomfortable.

Professional and helpful check in staff. Rooms spacious.

Breakfast and there hot tub rooms great, bed pretty comfortable, very clean rooms and other areas… winter so couldn't use pool but looked like a nice place to spend a afternoon at… five out of five.

I had a Bedbug on my pillow Saturday night! The manager just reached out to me today by email and said they can’t refund my stay because their pest company is closed for the holidays and they haven’t an infestation. This means the room still hasn’t been treated. I showed the front desk clerk the Bedbug when she came up to bring us a key to another room, so they were aware. The Assistant Manager also told me of another incident of Bedbugs that has not been reported when I checked online. I have the email from the manager if anyone would like to see it.

Very pet friendly and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast is really good. And even though we didn’t have a chance to go in, the outdoor pool looked great.

The place is clean, safe and priced right. The breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from. If you find yourself traveling to Reading, PA. (not many do) and need a place to stay than this is your best bet.

Older building, but staff was friendly and it was clean. Water stains on the ceiling in my room but when it poured during my stay it did not leak through. Breakfast was good, even had hot options. Overall nice for the money, like most Best Western.

Whenever business takes me to the Reading area, I usually stay at the Best Western Plus in Shillington. Easy location to get too and close to many dining or shopping areas. Clean and comfortable rooms and always friendly staff.

What a great stay we had, very comfortable, rooms were lovely, clean and stocked. The Pool was a great spot to lounge, the free newspaper was a nice touch. The lobby was a nicely decorated and meeting place. I would be coming back again.

Pros: Everyone was friendly. Staff was great. Location was great. Rooms were comfortable. We would stay there again. Cons: Overall housekeeping / room cleaning was minimal. No vacuuming was done during the stay. Wasn't observant of bad bulbs and minor maintenance issues. Minimal towels given; had to ask for additional for third person in room. Refrigerator didn't work properly. Overall, though, it was a comfortable stay and we would stay there again if in the area.

To a person, the staff were helpful and friendly and appeared to take pride in their work and their fellow team members. They actually looked like they were enjoying their work. Lots of smiles and warmth. All around great staff, especially the guy organizing the breakfast (and it seemed like he was doing a little bit of everything there … he popped up to help us behind the front desk too). The young woman that took our last minute reservation was also fantastic. Only gripe was the smoking and drinking at the pool. Went back to take a swim in the really nice pool and had to share the fresh air with a group of people chain smoking out there. I would ban smoking in and around the pool area and within 25 feet of entrances too. Other than what was probably an isolated case with the pool experience, it was a great place to stay!

Great hotel! Room was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. The breakfast menu was excellent. The only problem was one day the free breakfast was cold, no attendant was in the dining room while I was there to remedy the problem.

Everything was okay! Good service and good breakfast.

In town for a basketball tournament. Never stayed in the area before. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and courteous, any questions asked were answered thoroughly. The room was neat and clean, business office has all computers and printer working. Decor was updated and pleasant. Pleasanr scent in the air flowing through the air vents. People in the area seemed very hospitable and friendly. The television just needs to be updated to H. D. Considering how all else was up to par.

Very good stay. Very clean and breakfast was good. Breakfast is very busy on the weekends. So come early if you can. Fridge and microwave in rooms was awesome. Bathroom very basic but clean and water temp very good. Did not try pool but it looked nice. Ice machine on every floor and mini fitness room is 24 hrs. Parking is free. Good location. Close to market and skating rink. Tanger outlets and Dutch wonderland about 35 min away. Maple Grove RaceWay 15 min away.

This is my second time staying at this specific Best Western, Great staff and large clean rooms. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, especially Sammy (a lovely lady). They have coffee 24/7, which is fabulous. I highly recommend staying at this Best Western if you need a hotel in Reading by Lancaster Pike.

Only stayed one night for work but definitely would’ve stayed longer. Clean room, nice TV, great breakfast! The little diner on site was very good (we went for dinner). Thanks BW!

Cheap hotel, for a cheap thrill I guess. The picture online definitely isn't what we found here. Over priced and under cleaned. Rented the jacuzzi room and yuck! Had to clean it ourselves. Ciggerate ashes everywhere, pubic hair stuck to the tub, dirty towels. Never again, unless we are desperate to get away. One word, Ghetto. Stay away, this place looks as tho it should be right in the middle of the city.

Quick check in, very clean, awesome staff that are very accommodating. The lobby floor was being retiled but even so the workmen were polite and it was never inconvenient coming in or going out of hotel. I appreciated that it was quiet. I had asked for a room at the back since I knew there is a 24 hr. Diner in front of the hotel. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel if staying in the Reading area. It's convenient to Shillington, Reading, Sinking Spring and the Amish countryside (20-25 min. )

This was a well maintained establishment. The check in was easy and the staff very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the staff was there to keep it stocked. They were very friendly and helpful. There is a Deluxe Diner within 100 feet from their front door. The food there was good and they served large portions. I would definitely recommend a stay at this Best Western. It is close to many fun things to do and places to dine. The price was reasonable especially since it is located so close to so many things to do. Many places to shop around for a variety of merchandise.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. I didn't need a pool or fancy amenities. So, I enjoyed my stay with a comfortable, quiet room, hot breakfast and friendly staff.

The Best Western is not fancy hotel, but it does provide excellent value. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. The hot breakfast is tasty and always served with a smile. Easy access to the highway.

This hotel allows larger dogs up to 80lbs so we were able to bring our dog when we drove up to visit family. The renovation quality is very appropriate and the rooms have what we needed. The breakfast bar was well presented. Parking is not a problem and there are many entrances and exits to the 4 floor hotel. The diner our front is nice to enjoy for a quick bite. Super convenient to Reading and easy access to highways. Will stay here again in the spring!

This hotel was amazing with my dog! 80lb policy allowed us to visit our family and brig our dog which was such a relief. Thank you Best Western for the generous pet policy! The hotel is super clean and the breakfast rocks. We will be back in the spring.

This is a great place to stay. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, as well as helpful. The breakfast is included which is fantastic! Samie does a superb job at keeping the breakfast area clean and food fresh. We will always stay here when in the Reading area and highly recommend this hotel.

Genuinely surprised and satisfied with the overall stay at this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and genuinely helpful and kind. The hotel is very conveniently located and was clean, well decorated and modern. Overall I think the value was great. We only stayed for one night and unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, however based on this experience I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if needed.

Very nice hotel. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars was the mattress was not very supportive. And the couch had no support whatsoever. The people who work there are all very nice. Pretty good, complete breakfast offered. No reason to go out for breakfast. Nice, clean building.

We are very pleased with how clean the rooms are. The beds are super comfortable. The staff are very nice and are helpful with information on where the good places are to eat at. We always try to fine a Best Western if we can.

Location is great — convenient to highways around Reading, but not immediately adjacent to an interstate, so quieter environment. Restaurant adjacent to property is diner style serving combination of American and Greek dishes; not affiliated with the hotel; a good choice for a family meal that isn't fast food. Bed was more comfortable than many I've experienced in hotels at this price range. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buffet breakfast is merely typical, not outstanding, with not enough healthy choices for my tastes.

The room is very nice. The bathroom is what I always check first, it was clean and no hairs! Sorry but that will change my staying or leaving. The bed white and clean. No signs of bugs! Now in the morning we will have the breakfast they have down stairs. I saw a waffle iron, cereal holders, juices and hopefully they will have some fruit. With all of this we will be a happy camper❣️

Okay for a night or two but I felt was overpriced. They serve hot breakfast, there is a fitness room of a sorts If there is a pool, I didn't see it. The people who work here are friendly and they will try to help you. If you are looking for a place you can relax in the lobby or have a meal in your room, look elsewhere. This one is pretty basic but clean and almost comfortable.

I thought the Best Western was very nice, they were full and we ended up booking a couple months in advance. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that even though we arrived late we still for a room on the top floor with our group. The free breakfast had lots of choices; hot food and cold food including waffle maker, cereal, pancakes, eggs, sausage, yogurt. The room was very spacious even with the two queens and it was very clean. Overall I would for sure stay here again, I did enjoy my stay a lot.

I just had a great experience with one of the employees at the hotel. I'm staying here for a few days and we are snowed in due to the recent snow storm hitting the east coast. As a result most of the nearby stores and restaurants are closed and most of the delivery places aren't taking orders for the day. As I was on my way out to try and find something to eat for the day I stopped by the breakfast lounge and met Samia who offered to give me a few food items to hold me over until I could go out to get something to eat. She was really great! She basically gave me several items from the breakfast menu to get me through the morning. Thanks again to Samia and the whole team at Best Western Plus Reading Inn & Suites. Y'all are the best!

My boyfriend and I stayed here as my dad is in the hospital and we wanted to stay close by. We booked through hotwire and got a great price. We arrived and were greeted immediately! Check-in was a breeze! Very friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had a fridge and microwave… only issue is the vending machines were not stocked very well and the machine ate my boyfriend's money… however the guy at the desk refunded it! The breakfast was great! Hot and cold items! The breakfast attendant was super friendly and helpful! Sam was great! Will definitely recommend this hotel and will hope to stay there in the future!

Ok, over all a nice place, pretty decent breakfast in the mornings. The misses: traveled from Massachusetts so not familiar with the area. Trying to find this place on a dark and rainy night was difficult. It's tucked behind a diner with no illuminated road side signs. So after going in and getting our room, we were directed to drive down the length of the building left of entrance and enter thru that side door. Although this entrance was very close to our room, there was not a single light on. Dark parking lot, dark entrance. Had to go back to car and pull it up directly in front of door so we could use headlights to find the electronic key slot, about two feet to the side of the door. Once in the room, it was big and clean! Very nice. The heater in the room was excessively loud when fan came on, husband remarked in morning it sounded like a Harley coming up behind you. There were two tt trucks in the lot and 6 cars. I can't understand why, with a hundred plus or minus available rooms, they would put another guest in the room adjoining ours. Yup, one of those guests. Pounding on some surface within the room, very loud on phone, every other word the fbomb. Woke us up and kept us up for two hours. Would have been much more considerate to put a room between for sound buffer, seeing as there was nobody there.

Very clean and we'll kept. Decent rooms with queen beds and nice shower. Mini fridge was very useful during my stay. Would recommend to friends traveling to the area. Would likely stay there again.

We are here for work. Room seemes newly furnished and pretty nice, however I don't like that the sink is outside of the bathroom. Also, the breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Overall was good. They yelled at me for trying to take a small bag of Cheerios during breakfast for my 2 year old son. So that was pretty poor service.

Made reservations for 3 and half weeks. First 2 weeks go fine. On the first day of week 3, I was told they're out of rooms and I can't stay. Will never stay at any BW again. Wifi is very bad. Not one working vending machine in the building.

Nice for a best western, classy and well kept. Not the best immediate area but not far from good food and shopping. Windows do NOT open, and rooms are showing a bit of age. Nothing too special about this hotel, but overall not bad.

An average Best Western hotel. We had to change our room because there was a strong odor of tobacco (it was a non-smoking room though). The breakfast was free but not so good (fake microwavable omelet, no bacon, no cheese, no fruits. ). Otherwise, the room was perfectly clean.

I travel to Reading to visit family about 3 to 4 times a year and over the course of years have tried all the hotels, motels and B 7 B's. The Best Western @ Shillington is the "BEST" we have stayed in. Not only close to the relatives home, but an automobile dealer across Lancaster Pike is conveniently close, so I can have my vehicle serviced. The staff is a professional group of employees. Also, there is a diner on the same parking lot, and the food, service and atmosphere "SUCK" All in all, the Best Western is the best in the ares.
