Perfect bed and breakfast Inn for a weekend get away. The slow season provided a quiet and private retreat for us as a couple. Redbud room offered a lovely view of the River and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast and Dinner both days were exceptional. The area was fun to explore.

I had my wedding here on Oct 12, 2019 and it was beautiful. Keith and Sarah are awesome owners and they really put you first on your special day! I am originally from the Poconos and we had everyone drive to us because it was that perfect! Food is amazing too! All my guests still talk about it to this day! I will always go back and visit Edgewater!

Treated friends to a birthday dinner at the Riverside Grill recently and the staff and servers could not have been more accommodating. These folks know how to take service to the next level. We brought our own cake and candles and the staff graciously brought the cake, along with plates and utensils, to the table after the meal, with no extra charge… HOW IMPRESSIVE! If you and you dining companions want to feel special, Edgewater Inn and Riverside Grill is THE place.

Such a peaceful & amazing getaway. The staff & owners are amazing. The food was out if this world.

We booked a few days out as we would be traveling through. What a beautiful place, lovely staff, perfect setting and great food! Highly recommend a stay here. We couldn’t have asked for a better last nights stay on our anniversary trip.

Nice mix of B&B vibe with hotel consistency. Room was nice and clean, common area is quaint, and breakfast was quite good. Would have been nice to have Wi-Fi in the room as there is no cell reception at all. Great stay overall, would definitely come back.

Great seafood. Was a downpour when we were there. Neat to look out at the gazebo and river while eating.

Thank you Edgewater Inn for an amazing anniversary weekend! The food was to die for and the hospitality was like none other. Everyone was so accommodating and quick to help with anything we needed. The room was very country and quaint just as we wanted and loved the view of the river. Thank you again! Can’t wait to return!

Venue is great for a wedding, but the bar and restaurant were mediocre. Some of the food was wonderful, the rest was less than acceptable. One guest had a crab cake sandwich with lobster bisque, one had wings — these were great. Another guest ordered a chicken salad and another ordered chicken tenders — the salad had 2 slides of cucumber & 2 cherry tomatoes. The chicken tenders were inedible. The only saving Grace was that the restaurant made the chicken tender meal right. I would probably eat there again — but NOT order a salad or chicken tenders.

You won't find a more friendly and helpful staff. It's cozy and feels like home. The food in their restaurant is excellent. It's a beautiful place with rich history. The new-ish owners are working very hard to make it even better. You can't go wrong for a great getaway!

Quaint historic country inn and restaurant off the beaten path. Creekside, lovely grounds and atmosphere. Variety of food choices from burgers and fries to seafood and meat entrees. Service was attentive and friendly. They feature brunch buffets for holidays that we have enjoyed. A nice place to stop in a very rural area without a huge get selection of eateries available. One of the best in Huntingdon county.

Excellent location and beautiful building. I could see doing some fancy stuff here, but the staff stifles the atmosphere a little. Also, the food is a bit too expensive for the end product, in my opinion.

All the food on the menu is great but if you like wings go on Thursdays. It's their wing night and you have the option of having your wings smoked. The service is always on point and you can't find a better view from any tableside window in the area.

Wedding reception; food was great, service was great and the venue is very nice. Owners are very friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I used Edgewater's dining room/catering for our small wedding reception and we could not be happier about the beauty of the Inn, the quality of the food and the service of the staff. The owners, servers, bartenders and chef were fantastic — they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs throughout the planning process down to our wedding night. They were a tremendous contribution to how perfect our day went! Now that I've attended weddings, been a bridesmaid, and had my own wedding at Edgewater, I can honestly say it is a picture-perfect location for any size event!

I had my wedding here and couldn’t have imagined it any better. Any question I had was answered in a timely manner. I loved getting ready in the sunroom! The barn already had all the lights in it, which made it easy to decorate because it didn’t need much! The river looked amazing in the background of pictures. The rooms had the most comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious! I can’t wait to see our beautiful photos and to spread the word about this beautiful venue!

It was a nice place with a beautiful view. The bed was really comfy and the staff was nice. The breakfast had a good selection, but could use more flavor as it did not taste the best. While there was Wi-Fi it did not really work even in the strongest spots. Also, the TV had four working channels that were spread out over 25. Overall good place but could use a little bit of updating for the price.

A really fantastic place in a stellar setting away from it all! I don't know what makes this inn more special, the picturesque river it sits on, the wonderful staff, the beautiful gardens, the nearby town, or the historic property itself. Combined, they made for a most perfect summer weekend. Oh, I fogot the delicious dinners. The Edgewater Inn has class and we LOVED it!

Awesome! This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast type place and it did not disappoint. The couple who owns the Inn are personable and very friendly. The grounds of the Inn are just beautiful and we'll kept. What a magnificent view! The Inn itself was very clean and comfortable. Almost like being at home with a river in your backyard. Kudos to the friendly and accommodating staff. If you're in need of rest and relaxation, I'd recommend the Edgewater Inn for sure!

The Inn and surroundings at Edgewater were a beautiful setting for our daughter's wedding. We had the ceremony outside, next to the river, which is surrounded by large trees, a gazebo, mature landscaping, and the wedding video even captured the birds singing in the background! (You can't get that in an indoor hotel wedding! ) The reception was in the barn and very comfortably sat 140 guests (could probably do more). The dance floor area was very large which enabled all the guests who love dancing to truly enjoy themselves. The food set-up allowed for great traffic flow and easy access to everything. We paid extra for chair covers and bows which really dressed everything up. I would advise this. The lay out of the barn makes it easy to dress up with flowers and linens. The owners have the barn lights set up in a way that adds to the beauty and charm of the barn setting. (Loved that the floor is concrete so that heels don't get stuck in the floor! ). I would recommend extra fans in the barn or pay extra for whatever Sara recommends to keep your guests comfortable as we did have a very hot day. Our guests loved being able to slip out of the barn and sit outside talking, enjoying the night scenery, and making s'mores. For nature and history lovers (the farm has a connection to the William Penn family) this is truly an idyllic spot for a wedding and very reasonably priced.

A truly beautiful Inn. The grounds are wonderful well manicured set amongst the mountains and beside a creek.

We went to the restaurant for dinner on mother's day. The food was good, reasonably priced and our waitress was great, all around a very nice experience. I would definitely recommend eating here.
