We love Shaina and Katie! They were so awesome and friendly with my girls. Our 3rd time back to the property for Hershey and will be back again! Thank you ladies for going above and beyond to make our stay (girls weekend) fantastic!

The Holiday Inn Express in Hershey, PA was extremely clean and comfortable when we stayed over Labor Day weekend. Shayna, the desk clerk, helped me to get my room booked over the phone and made sure that we had everything we needed when we checked in. She really went above and beyond when there was an issue with using my points. I am so happy that she knew what she was doing after the toll-free reservation line was unable to help me. The check-in was easy for the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The gym has three treadmills, among other equipment, which made it easy for me to stay on my marathon training schedule without the need to run outside in an unfamiliar area. We will likely stay again on our next trip to Hershey.

Pretty disappointed but I don't think. Waited at the desk to check in for more than 10 minutes. They did have some delicious chocolate chip cookies and strawberry flavored water in the lobby though. There is a free breakfast which is a plus. The room was a little too warm and really would not cool down. The worst part was the sheets — the were pilled and very uncomfortable.

The rooms are awesome. Neat and clean, beds are comfortable. Pool is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. Fresh coffee all day and nice sitting area to relax and read the paper. Plenty of things to do in area as well as restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and definitely will go back.

This hotel is probably the worst hotel I ever stayed in.
First night asked for two Extra pillows and wes told that they had give all the extra pillows out for the night and had none left Next day returned from Hershey for a quick breather and some dinner at 3 pm.
I entered my room and was told that …
“We haven’t gotten there yet “
At 3pm what have you been doing all day.
I spoke w the front desk manager who asked me if I had put a do not disturb sign on the door which I responded I had not.
I was told we have someone else doing the rooms upstairs and they would get there when they could I returned from the park at 1100 pm and as I approached the room saw that the the door to the room was left open. I conducted a search of the room and found nothing to be missing especially my wife’s expensive pocketbook.
The room had not been made up.
Beds hand not been made and clean towels were thrown on the floor in the bathroom I voiced my concerns to the daytime manager who passed the buck to the kid who worked the previous night. I was handed a bill for full price as I walked out the door. I was leaving the hotel and saw the housekeeping manager and I expressed my dismay which in turn she responded I did not work yesterday again passing the buck I would not recommend this hotel.
Staff is incompetent and hotel is Grimey.

Walking into this hotel it was very clean and looked updated. We got in our room and it smelled a bit funky but we thought once we turned down the AC that would help. The carpet was also stained with large dark spots. Both beds (the sheets and pillows) in our first room were covered with hairs. Long hair, short hair, various hairs. We went to the front desk and got a different room (the woman was very nice & helpful! ). When we went into the next room it also had a staine…d carpet. And yes, hairs in the bed. This room also has wood splinters on the floor around the bed and a black powder by the very dirty AC unit. We told the very nice woman at the front desk we would be leaving. She was very apologetic and nice. Sadly although very close to Hershey Park we will not be staying there ever again.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. However we had a vey bad experience. A train run right next to this hotel several times a day, it woke us up at 4:06 am the first night we were there. The room had no bath towels when we arrived. We left for the day the next day and when we got back we were shocked to see our door open. The cleaning people failed to close it entirely, and also failed to give us a comforter for our beds thankfully nothing was stolen. The room also wasn't very clean. Very bad experience.

Very nice and clean hotel. The hotel itself is small and the staff is super nice & welcoming. The rooms are not too small just about the right size. The hotel is located across the commercial area where we bought some food and supplies, this was a plus for us. Standard holiday Inn breakfast was also a nice addition. I'd recommended this hotel if you are around.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It's fairly easy to notice from the street. The hotel staff was very nice and courtious. I would have no issues staying here again.

My friend had been waiting in your lobby for 2 hours to check in. Apparently no one works in your hotel?

Location is good, room was fine. The pool was overrun with unsupervised kids.

Not a bad place but there are trains that seem to run every 15-20 minutes past my room no matter what time of day or night.

Rooms — the rooms are good size and the walls offer a decent amount of peace and quiet. This hotel is an older hotel and has been remodeled several times. My room had modern furniture modern lighting but in doing some of the modernization they lacked some key critical components my carpet was full of stains and my PTAC unit was covered in dust and you can tell that the filters have not been changed. They utilize and eco-friendly thermostat which means you walk into a hot room at the end of the day. Our room was right next to train tracks so all throughout the day and the night hearing the train go through town would quickly wake any person from a sound asleep up, make sure that you are on the left side of the hotel. Staff — the staff member is truly do deserve five star they work extremely hard and take a passion what they do you can see that at all times they had a smile on their face. They did go the extra mile to help me as much as they could as the hotel was Wifi — the Wi-Fi is incredibly slow and as it is offered for free, you need to input a code which only work for one day. They do not offer a lan connection inside of your room Bathroom — the bathroom was in need of some help. The sheetrock tape was peeling and rust was bleeding through the paint from the sheetrock edges. Hot water is a very hard thing to come by early in the morning when they are at full occupancy it goes from hot to cold to hot to cold and makes it difficult to take a decent shower.

Good place. Nice food. Nice pool. Nice people.

I have stayed here several times. It is clean and staff is friendly. My room this time was starting to look a bit worn. The fan in the bathroom was not working, and the wallpaper is starting to peel because of it. The cabinet with the refrigerator was broken. I actually think the refrigerator was going out too. I put my ice bucket full of ice in it to help keep it cool. Overall it was fine, but definitely needs attention soon.

Small hotel with small rooms and small bathrooms. Thin walls leading to noise as well as active train tracks outside leading to further noise. Guests required to sign a legal contract concerning behavior at the hotel, however, rowdy guests in the indoor pool with behavior that presented a personal and public safety risk as well as conduct that broke broke two of the nine posted rules. Incident led to one guest calling the police and another guest breaking up the melee, with the front desk staff refusing to intervene and saying the "police won't come for this. " All hotel staff dressed in sloppy sweat clothes and no uniform, very bizarre. Not a safe hotel or a good value either. Of the 100+ hotels I have stayed in over the past 40 years, this is one of the few I will never return to.

Not the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed in. The staff was pleasant and the lobby was very nice. It was the room that was kinda gross. Huge stain in the middle of the carpet which could have easily been a scene of pure horror or just an entire gallon of spilled chocolate milk. Either way I avoided stepping there. Couple wierd stains on the walls, but those were easily avoidable.

Excellent service from Robert at front desk. Very understanding of our special needs. I will always recommend this location.

Nice place. Good coffee. Good setting and easy to find off the main road. Mess Harrisburg. 15 min drive. Small pool. Rooms very big and comfortable. Very clean. Lots of places to eat near but mostly fast food.

Room was very clean and prices were really fair. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. Was right in the middle of Hershey and Harrisburg making both cities easily accessible.

We stayed here to visit Hershey's Christmas celebration. We don't stay in hotels very often. Maybe five nights a year. But we do anything we can to stay in a Holiday Inn Express. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast in the morning is always great, and that's why we keep going.

I had a baby shower in the meeting room on Sept. 24th, 2017. I had met with Sonia & she was wonderful; booked the room. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I was pleased with how the tables were set up; the staff. They let us set up early & we left later than expected. No one bothered us or rushed us out. I would recommend this place to anyone who is hosting a party for 30 or less.

This hotel is nearby Hershey attractions. They were easily accessible to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a Kuerig machine in the room. There was free breakfast with many options — hot breakfast.

The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean, large and super modern. The gym was really nice as well for those who look to exercise while on the road. Great selection for breakfast as well too. A+ and will stay in again the next time I am in the area.

This hotel has nice rooms and one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub for guests. There is a freight train nearby but I never heard it from inside the hotel and our room was on that side of the building. It's about 5 minutes to drive to Hershey Park and very simple. Also, there's restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

Was okay. Not the cleanest and not what I expected from our past experience with HIE. Not bad just not what was expected. Was very modern and up dated. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was fine for an overnight stay.

The TV in our room was a 42" RCA flat-screen and the coffee maker was a Keurig. That alone made me appreciate the dedication the hotel had to keeping its guests happy. Factor in the genuinely personable greetings and attention the staff showed toward us and it was my best stay so far anywhere for 2017. This would definitely make me not only stay here again but use the Holiday Inn Express brand anywhere I go. Thank you for the hospitality!

First they billed our credit card when the room was a comp from another cards miles, second the pool was closed for maintenance until after 9pm on a Friday night, third a fire alarm went off in our room approximately 6 am and when I asked at the desk they didn't have a clue? It could have just been a bad 24 hrs…

The staff was very accommodating. Room was clean check in/out was quick and painless. What more can you ask for!

The staff was extremely accomodating, our room was spotless, our hallway was nice and quiet, and check-out was quick and easy. Our room had its own keurig with tea and coffee and was very spacious. The next time I am in the area, I will stay here.

Room is ok. Hotel is bright and clean but a little run down. The Wi-Fi is horrible. Do not count on it at all.

Nice hotel, great breakfast selection. Fitness center was only 3 cardio machines.

Clean rooms and sheets, free Wi-Fi, available iron and even a pool. Good experience overall!

It was wee early when I got there. I was very tired and that bed was like a warm embrace :)

The card reader died with all my belongings in the room (wallet, keys, luggage). I told the front desk at 6pm and by 10pm they said I was out of luck and that they didn't know when they could open the door. How is that even possible. The front desk person was nice but it wasn't her fault anyway. Never had such a disappointing hotel stay.

Good breakfast (6:30-9:30am) with quickly replenished hot foods and pool open until 11. Also right next to a Taco Bell and Sheetz for snacking. :-) Quick drive to Hershey Park/Troegs/Giant Center/Tanger Outlets and friendly staff. Rooms are pretty standard.

Not only convenient to Hershey Park, but a great staff. I have no idea as to the post about the pool, it was clean and well kept. The only negatives I had were a) the rooms were painted a bright white (so a minor negative) and b) the public smoking area was set up at the stairs leading from the parking lot to the lobby. When we checked in was smoke break for the staff, so the smell was strong, even when the desk clerk hurried in to check us in. Move the smoking area, please.

The only advantage is the location that is near to Hershey park. Fridge is not working, old style AC, unclean pool, limited option of breakfast. At night, there is a strong smell of wood smoke which I don't know where it comes from. Though, warm welcome! I guess it should be.
