This is an exceptional property. The location is excellent and is far enough from the highway I-83 so the truck traffic noise is a non-issue and yet is easy off and easy on if you're travelling. I was greeted promptly and check-in was a breeze arriving about 9:30 PM on a Friday night. Luggage carts were available making bringing luggage in and up to the room very easy. There are 2 elevators for 5 floors and I never waited too long for an elevator though the hotel was fairly full. There was hot coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby when we arrived. We had a king room on the 4th floor. This is either a newly remodeled or a new property and everything looked new, carpets, paint etc. Room key cards worked perfectly. There was an ice machine right next to the elevator on our floor (probably all floors) inside its own room with a closed door so ice maker noise did not disturb anyone, a nice thoughtful touch. The room, though not large was very nice and well appointed. We had a king bed and there was also a sofa bed that we did not need and a small office space and a refrigerator and a microwave. Linens were first class and there was a good assortment of pillows. Bathroom was top notch with (4! ) high quality towels. My only complaint and it is maybe a matter of taste was the barn door that rolled between the closet and the bathroom with no latch. I prefer a swinging door with a lock, but that's just me. Glad to be back! As always, the team here goes above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. Rooms are pretty new, bed is comfy and clean shower. Breakfast is good, my only suggestion is to add more flavor to the scrambled eggs. This time, the hotel was a bit noisy due to plenty of young students and athletes staying in. The hotel does have signs to make parents aware that its their responsibility to take care of their children. I requested late check out due to a later flight in the PM and was given an extra hour, 12pm. Not bad, thanks again and willing to come back again.

This is a nice property, nicer than the typical Hampton Inn. It is convenient for a stop during a road trip, located near the highway. The front desk clerk Ed was amazing! He was friendly and gave us all kinds of recommendations on where to get dinner. We also enjoyed the pool. The breakfast area was nice in terms of seating and decor. Would recommend.

Excellent choice for events at the PA Farm Show complex. Super clean and it always looks like they've just upgraded. Good lighting in rooms, plenty of plugs, ample towels — what you'd expect biut don't always find. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare, but always well-stocked and staffed, and the dining are kept tiduly and fresh.
But it's the staff that put this place over the top. Housekeeping every day — rare post-pandemic, and it was so nice to come back from a long day at Farm Show to a fresh and welcoming room. The front desk staff is kind, friendly, and professional, as arr the support staff.
Pick this Hampton if traveling to H'burg.

Awesome staff very good food.

Staff was friendly and rooms were nice. Elevator was super slow. The AC in the room wouldn't go below 70 even though I set it to 65, also the the appear to be on timers. I sleep with the TV on every night, however the TV continuously shut itself off every night causing a very restless sleep.

Room was very nice and clean. Staff was nice. Aside from one housekeeper out final morning knocking on the door two hours prior to check out. And playing her radio in the hallway. Breakfast area was a madhouse, but it was Hershey Park time.

Very nice Inn, clean and great service. Breakfast would be 3 stars, it's just okay. There are a few places to eat within walking distance and a Rit Aid across the street.

When we started to bed after a long day, I pulled back the covers to find hair. Lots of it. The sheets had not been changed since the previous guest.

I love the consistency of Hampton inns. Excellent service. Especially at this location. Clean rooms and cheery staff. I also really like how they can supply you simple necessities that you might’ve forgotten. Not really in close proximity to anything interesting so if you’re staying here and want to go do anything you’ll probably need a car.

The staff here all friendly and accommodating. The location is near great shopping centers and restaurants. It's easily accessible l. Our room was very nice, big, quiet and laid out to have a warm roomy feeling. The breakfast is always good there. I always get a yogurt and fruit. Their pears are the best!

Clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast staff were AWESOME! Super friendly and helpful. One turned on Mickey and gave crayons & paper to my little one and another packed strawberries into a cup for her to take in the car. They were all so sweet and happy. It is a great way to start the day. Thanks again for the service!

Mold behind the wall paper in every room. Laundry hot water tank isn't working, so they tapped into the guest hot water tanks to do laundry. Instead of using 160° hot water they are using 120°. Gross!

Nice bed, dirty bathroom, coffee inside room was bad. Friendly staff, noisy adjoining room. Breakfast was nice but nothing special.

Every employee was really sweet, especially the workers that made the free breakfast in the morning. One noticed that I was grabbing a bunch of fruit and asked if I wanted more, and went into the kitchen to bring it out to me! Free 24hr coffee was amazing as well.

Clean fresh cozy rooms! I smoke and they have smoking rooms so I don't have to worry about going outside at night. Good breakfast with variety and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Love it there!

Check is was very easy, staff was very nice. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint about the room was the heat waking me up throughout the evening. Breakfast was good but the eggs had ham in them which was a bummer for me. Overall a quality stay.

Comfortable clean rooms. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Have stayed here dozens of times and have always been pleased with my stay.

We love the Hilton family of hotels. The Hampton Inns are our go to place. Always clean, up-to-date, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. Breakfast is free & sufficient if you are in a hurry. We've stayed in this location a few times due to its proximity to Hershey Park. Just a quick 15 to 20 minute drive. Much cheaper than the resorts that are closer. This brand of hotels takes care of their customers. We are rewards members and have stayed twice now for under $25 each time using some of our points.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament nearby. Breakfast was pretty good. One problem was having to do a U-turn when entering from one direction.

Very pleasant staff and very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Would stay there again.

Really, really, really needs renovated and updated. Front desk folks friendly, but being a frequent traveler, staying in Hilton properties exclusively, this Hampton needs some serious attention!

My husband, son, sister and I were guests at the Hampton Inn Harrisburg East October 4-8, 2017. I must commend your staff for the excellent service during our stay. The hotel was full during this time due to a car show and soccer tournament and we were truly amazed how the staff (from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff) was able to maintain high quality service. I especially want to shout out to Marie from the breakfast staff for her sweet personality and willingness to make sure our table was clean. She is a gem!

Room was nice. Beds comfortable. Did not appreciate them trying to walk I to my room mid day (I had only checked in 2 hours before). The caulk around the tub was pretty gross.

Now that their renovation is complete this is a great hotel. Beds are super comfortable, TV is large, breakfast is decent. Near a rite aid and Panera.

Right off the interstate, nice Hampton with great staff. I stay at quite a few Hamptons, so a notable is one of their older facilities, but everything is maintained, updated and functioning. Wish the rooms were slightly brighter with more lighting. Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and always coffee available!

The rooms are nice, and clean. The workers are very pleasant. They also supply a free breakfast in the mornings. The hotel is just a short drive to The Hershey Factory, Hersheypark, and The Hershey Stadium.

Reception staff excellent. Handled special room request quickly and efficiently. No drama. Perfectly clean room. I love Hampton Inns!

The Hampton Inn is in a nice quiet area. Entry to our room those very easy and near the elevator. The service we had involved breakfast the next morning and it was awesome. The room was in beautiful shape, fixed very nicely and very comfortable.

Nice clean room and comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection; it satisfied both adults and my little kids. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we're in the area.

Nice and quite hotel. The room was a good size and I liked the layout. The bathroom was a bit small. The free breakfast in the morning was really good. Wide selection from eggs, to make your own waffles, and fresh fruit. The breakfast seating area was small though.

This hotel has a great location and very good, clean rooms. The front desk and housekeeping staff are wonderful! The only thing is the beds are not quite as comfortable as other hampton inns I have stayed at in the past. I would definitely return though!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL! A special thank you to Bette Trador, John Aldridge, and the staff for being so willing to help my husband Mark when he needed it most! They were all so in tune to his need, acted appropriately and quickly to get him to the nearest hospital when he became ill there. I thank you so much for being so welcoming when my son and I arrived to the hotel to be with Mark. Allowing us to stay there at no charge, realizing that we had so much to do for him. In a world where you feel that corporations are greedy, it is inspiring to learn that this Hampton Inn could be so understanding and generous. I, and my family thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

It was a very nice hotel. Absolutley no problems with our room. I was there for a volleyball tournament and my entire team stayed in the same hotel. Breakfast was very good. 5/5

Rooms are really nice but there isn't a dresser to put clothes away. Breakfast was wonderful and the ladies were nice. Prime Location to the Interstate, Plenty Of Restraunts To Choose From and Nice Shopping Plaza. Courteous Staff and Very Clean!

Prime location, close to several restaurants and stores. Very friendly staff! The ladies that bring breakfast out are so sweet! Beds are a little too bouncy for me but pillows are heavenly! Overall good experience, would definitely recommend!

Staff was nice. Room is a nice size. Staying on street side is obnoxious… too loud outside. Had to move rooms due to gasoline fumes from sunoco next door coming through my closed window (tanker was filling gas station). Also found hair balls in my bathroom on the floor and hair dryer (2 different colors). Overall not impressed.

Hampton Inn Harrisburg-East was a great reasonably priced place to stay. The rooms were nice size and clean. The staff was great and personable. I would recommend this place highly.
