Highly recommend! Nice size rooms, clean, free buffet breakfast for guests, hot tube and pool. The staff is very nice, have stayed here a few times and have never had a bad experience! I disagree with all the negative reviews, rooms are nice, I've never smelled smoke in a non smoking room, the staff has always been nice and helpful, internet is good, parking lot is lit. Its outdated and a little ruff looking around the edges, but other then that it's great.

Done a search through trivago and booked online the picture looked like a new motel. We we got there it was a dump. Old fallen down buolding. Room had dead spiders and cobwebs. It did have clean sheets but there will b No more Travelodge for us. Guess u have to pay 150 a night to get a nice motel.

Place was okay don't think. Back there on the way back through. There wasn't enough towels shampoo and cream rinse or soap in the bathroom. Had to go ask for the for them at the head desk. So I just give this place a 3/4 now hopefully they can pick up their game.

Used to be our favorite place to stay in Bedford. What was once a fabulous breakfast buffet is now the worst motel breakfast! Dried up scrambled eggs (almost none anyway), some sausage patties, a little toast. Needed help with the waffle, but there was no attendant. I had to go through the kitchen to find her. Coffee not hot. Etc, etc. Some people walked out. We won't ever go back there again. So sad to see a great place go so far downhill.

I only stayed for one night so I can't say much, but I should have known it was going to be a rough night when we were checking in and the night manager decided to chime into our conversation. My roommate and I were getting checked in and talking about our travels. She had the room key and told me that she would be heading to her room. Upon hearing this, the night manager said "Please do" with the most sarcastic tone in her voice and rolled her eyes. I can understand to an extent since we were talking a bit, but that is still no reason to be rude. We get settled into our room and I go to take a shower and I turn on the hot water and out comes a bug from the faucet. Needless to say I showered in my friend's room. The hotel is a bit older but in order to get the business, some renovations need to be done to get things up to date.

Blond gentleman who checked me in very nice. My room looked clean, but bathroom had dirt and LOTS of hair on the floor. Was pleasantly moved to another room. Looked clean. Got up in the morning to use restroom, and felt something crawling on my back. It was a bed bug. I immediately packed up and checked out. I told the Indian gentleman at the front desk that there was a bedbug. I had killed it and showed it to him. He said they didn't have bed bugs. I said clearly you Do! He said he would take care of it. He proceeded to hand me my receipt, and thanked me for staying. I said I couldn't believe he was still charging me for the room, and I would call my credit card company immediatly and fight the charge. He then cleared the charge and handed me a reciept to verify. There were also used toiletries that had not been changed out. This place had garbage… big garbage. All over the parking lot. They obviously don't care at all about this property. Do not stay here.

Worst hotel experience yet! Room was filthy, towels were stained. During the night a huge rat fell from a access hole in the ceiling. Discovered the rat on our exit and notified front desk. The response we received was extremely rude. This is not an over exaggeration! Please think twice before staying there.

Decent large room (could use some updates). Owner is ignorant guaranteed we will try to rip you off. Our insurance is paying for our stay do to a house fire, I believe that he is over charging them (if so I'm going to make sure he is charged with insurance fraud). He was also trying to charge them a day early, we checked in on 1/31/18 (have a newspaper article stating when the fire happened FRONT PAGE, and the police were there so I know there's a dated police report) he was trying to say it was 1/30/18. His own employees stated to me that he does this kind of stuff to people. We have been here over a week and I've not seen any housekeeping cleaning rooms. A room just down from us has been rented 3 times with no cleaning (board of health to be notified). So I guess what I'm saying is, this is not a good place to stay.

My family and I have been coming here for a long time to enjoy the pool and free breakfast while visiting family near by. But this building has fallen into disrepair. The rooms are fun down and uncomfortable.

Cheap and handy. Good Wi-Fi and clean beds. Bit noisy, and poorly vacuumed, but OK overall.

I will not give this a rating as this will be the last time we will stay at this hotel. We arrived early on a Friday. It looks like the room had not be freshened since the last guest. God only knows when that was! There were dead insects in the tub and on the top of the heating unit in the main part of the room. The floors in the bathroom and the carpet hadn't been swept or mopped in quite a while. There was black mold in the corner at the tub. The room smelled musty and dirty. The bedspread on the bed had to be removed and replaced upon arrival considering it looks like a certain bodily fluid was left on the spread. I am not sure if the bedspread had been changed since the last guest. Even the housekeeper said that was gross. But then in the 5 days we stayed there, the carpet was never vacuumed, the bathroom and second sink area were not wiped down and disinfected. The floor in the bathroom was not cleaned. There was a small coffee maker in the room, but after our second day there, the housekeeper would leave more coffee packets, but NO cups. The night stands and tables were not wiped down daily either. Housekeeping was pathetic. We had stayed there numerous times before and never had issues like this. The owner of this hotel should be fired and the hotel should be CLOSED PERIOD. Due to condition of our room we were afraid to eat in the restaurant inside the hotel. God only knows what lingered there. Someone please close this place.

Dated hotel. Staff is great. Food is good also. Rooms were a little dirty, but I have been in worse. Do not plan on using the pool. Dirty and cold as ice.

This hotel was disgusting. Probably the dirtiest I've ever stayed in. My husband and I both couldn't sleep because the bed was terrible and we felt dirty. If we hadn't been driving all day we would have left and went somewhere else. They also don't do refunds so we didn't want to have to spend more money. I highly suggest finding a different hotel!

A bit dated & aged, but great staff who make a concerted effort to maintain an aging motel. I've been to scary, old, dirty hotels & this is NOT that. Rooms are clean & comfortable w/ tasteful, regional, almost timeless decorations. Request room on backside (away from highway) & extremely quiet, door opens out to short, grass-mowed hill — great for kids or dog-walking. Dorm fridge, microwave, & one-cup (not Keurig) coffee maker — all are clean & serviceable. Not strictly economy priced, but fair value. Only caution is faint remnant odor of maybe cigarette smoke from over 15 years ago, but nowhere near recent, if you are sensitive to such things. Friday night seafood buffet unimpressive for price, but breakfast was comparable to higher priced hotels — quality & variety of options. All-in-all, I was pleased.

I've stayed at the Travelodge twice now. First was for a few days for a wedding in town. Only once over three days did housekeeping ever stop by — which I was willing to overlook. Not that big a deal, we can clean up after ourselves. So we recently had to come back for one night and we booked here because it's pet friendly and we atleast knew what to expect. Well we walked into the room and there was blood on the bedspread and cigarette ashes in the sink. Either they didn't clean the room or they just thought that was an acceptable standard of cleanliness. Either way unacceptable.

Rooms are dated however they are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is great with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy. Large selection of fresh fruit, cereal and bread, bagels and juices. Pool was clean and warm. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

This is a great little hotel. No, its not fancy and new. But the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and all around amazing. And everything you need is here; pool, hot tub, bar, and restaurant all on the property. If I ever return to Bedford, there is no question that this is the hotel we will be staying in. The only thing I would suggest is fixing the cement area around the pool. Looks really rough. But everything else was great!

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. The staff was friendly and polite. Upon arrival, you definitely need to go super slow driving into the parking lot as the entrance needs to be redone. The breakfast was a buffet style with eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit and your bar, cereal, toast and waffles. Very nice. The room was clean, with a nice view. The pool and jacuzzi area was nice, but could definitely due with a deep cleaning as the there were spots at the bottom of the pool and jacuzzi that were black and dirty looking and leaves floating all on the water. There were several soda vending machines near our room that were sold out so we had to go to the gas station down the street to get drinks. There was also a broken ice machine. Apart from that it was a nice stay.

My family and I arrived at this hotel at 1130 at night, friendly staff… I'm driving a truck and trailer park sideways taking up roughly 10 spots… we receive a phone call telling to move my truck because other guests may show up… just a guess 50 other markings spits available… so why inconvenience a guest who just rented two rooms that you know are gonna be left empty a night? Rude and inconsiderate,

My stay was fine. But the aesthetics of the inn was poor. Plants were growing out of the gutter. My room obviously had repaired water damage. The repair stuck out like a sore thumb. Despite the aesthetics, the place was clean.

Clean room with comfortable beds. No microwave or refrigerator and room a but outdated. Great complimentary breakfast buffet. Good quality for the money. Would recommend and stay there again.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable I didn't like the small pillows I did like the sink outside the bathroom. That way someone can shower while someone else gets ready at the sink. The breakfast buffet was great better then what you would get at a lot of other motels! I would stay there again if I'm in town.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice amenities. Coupon provided for free buffet breakfast at the on-site breakfast was a huge plus. No complaints! Would stay again.

Convenient location, rooms were clean with great water pressure/hot water. Service was friendly and the breakfast buffet was good.

This is our 4th time here. We love it here. Clean spacious rooms plenty of parking with beautiful grounds. The on site restaurant has wonderful food and a full bar. We are sure to be back.

Great motel! Clean room and very friendly staff from front office to restaurant to cleaning staff. An older hotel but great value. Nice lawn in the back good for the kids in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

I love this Hotel it's an older hotel but so well maintained and immaculate clean! The rooms are big the bathrooms super clean you can tell someone loves this place The staff are friendly the food at Claire's is good breakfast is great. And my favorite is Cora she is the Bar tender and a Doll I whish she was my grandma so I could visit her every week. My one and only gripe would be the TV wasn't the greatest. But honestly a hidden Gem.

This is very clean Motel in the front desk is very helpful and there is only double beds.

My husband and I stayed here arrived on a Friday night late was very happy they had 1 room left. We really loved it here because it reminded us of the past. It was raining so we didn't get to go swimming but it looked like they had a deep pool not like the newer ones that are only 3 to 4 feet deep. Breakfast buffet yummy and came with our room rental. We are planning to make another trip just to stay there and enjoy what they have to offer and the town too.

An older property, but well maintained. The bathroom was spotless! Very good amenities and helpful, pleasant staff. The breakfast buffet was good and had a wide selection of items.

From the time I walked in until right before I left I felt uncomfortable with the service. The waitress automatically assumed that I wanted the buffet. I was wanting breakfast but I arrived too late so I ordered a bowl of soup. Didn't have the spoon in the soup and the waitress dropped the bill on the table and before I was finished another waitress came by to pick it up. I was there a whole 20 minutes and what took so long was the cashier had to go to the front desk to break the $100 bill I paid my $5.27 bill with. Guess they thought I was homeless wearing slacks and blouse instead of an evening gown.

We found the Bedford Inn off exit 146 on the PA Turnpike. Stopped without a reservation and were traveling with dogs. Their pet fee was only $15 and they had a huge grassy area for dog walking. Huge room, double Queen beds with 4 pillows each were very comfortable, two bathroom sinks, nice tall shower head with good pressure. Didn't get the chance to eat at the restaurant but the motel was an excellent deal and a fantastic place to stay with dogs. Will definitely return on our way trough PA.
