The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were nice as well. I ordered room service my first night and the food was great! I just wish they had complimentary breakfast and that they didn't try to charge 3 dollars for a water bottle in the room if you weren't a Hilton rewards member. Overall though it was good experience.

Stay here every time I am in Corvallis. Great central location. Nice hotel with very nice room. Used the small gym this time and will make a point to bring bathing suit next time to use their indoor pool. Restaurant and bar on premises. Fun bar and bar staff.

At restaurant paid $30 for tough steak and they didn't offer to reduce bill though the meal was returned uneaten. I felt robbed.

Good food at internal restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms and generally great hotel.

The registration staff is amazing. Ms Chien and her colleagues go beyond what is necessary to make your visit stress free and amazing. I love them and would stay here over and over again! Thank you so much for your knowledge and kindness!

Good location right on OSU campus. Within walking distance of everything in corvallis. But the beds are very spongy and wobbly.

It has wonderful customer service. The rooms are always clean when you first enter them. They have lots of luxuries like free Wi-Fi and a pool. I would really recommend a person to come here.

Decent place to stay if you need to be next to campus. Beds were a little wore out and you are a mile from downtown where all of the food is.

Convenient place for staying overnight while visiting OSU for business trips.

My buddy and I checked in and we are both Gold members. The hotel did not acknowledge the status and every Hilton I have ever stayed at welcomes and thanks their members for seeking out their hotels and for our business. The BEDS IN THIS HOTEL ARE HORRIBLE! I have stayed at the local Holiday Inn and the new Courtyard and they were more comfortable. The walls in this hotel are super thin as mentioned by other patron's reviews. I kept my conversations low so as not be overheard by my neighbors. After being here a week and one day, someone from the hotel called me and my travel companion while we were at work and told us they could not charge to our credit cards and that it was being declined. Well, our cc companies verified that the hotel had not made a charge that had been declined. I called back and the hotel said, "Oh, well, we don't know what happened but if we need anything else, we will call back. " Fishing scam? I believe this place is poorly managed. I am ending my stay early and reserving another hotel for comfort and financial security reasons. Finally, someone called before I left to ask why I was leaving early. After I explained there was no apology, no effort to make the stay any better or at least the offer to change rooms. I am returning for a two week stay next month and do not plan on staying. Hilton has always been my "go-to" hotel but this hotel hasn't been the best. Too bad for me and them.

The place was clean but the beds were cheap, the breakfast was expensive and so was the room for what you get.

Terrible bed. Mattress from 20 year old sleep cheap. Windows so dirty you didn't need blinds. Lobby construction workers set up cutting tools so they had to traverse lobby for each fireplace tile cut. Great staff. Great location. Wish there was another choice.

Everyone here so nice and helpful during my recent stay. Although Lobby is under remodel there were no issues in navigating thru the construction zone. Would like to return when work is completed as it promises to be a nice improvement.

Hotel average. Expensive as often in the United States. No charm and old fashioned decor. In works what's more. Not the best accommodation of the trip.

Well appointed suite, huge room comfortable bed, friendly professional staff. Currently undergoing renovations in the lobby but looks like the lobby will be nice upon completion.

Courteous staff and a tasty if small breakfast buffet. They're currently in the process of renovating the lobby but that didn't detract from my visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed wasn't especially great but the pillows were nice and soft.

Impeccable service as always in the Hilton hotels, the price is definitely too high.

Smaller bar plenty of room lounge in the lobby that's connected. Great service and a good place to grab a drink before the game.

The bed was cozy, the complimentary water was refreshing, and the noise was minimal besides the train crossing every once and a while. Overall a great experience!

No body was at the counter when I walked in. I had to go find somebody myself to get checked in. This was also my wedding night, we had booked the presidential sweet. My new wife had to wait in the car while I had to paraide around the hotel to find somebody to get us lined out at eleven at night. I was and am not happy!

First time staying here at the Hilton Garden Inn. Would definitely come back and refer others here. A friendly staff and the convenience of being so close to everything is always plus.

Although the standards of cleanliness and quality were met, I have to rate this Hilton poorly because of the service. I'm traveling with a student group for a workshop at the college, and we chose this hotel based on name brand and location. We reserved a bank of rooms months prior to the event. Before we arrived on the day of check in, I called to make sure everything was in order, and the agent told me we had two fewer rooms than we had reserved. They had accidentally put the rooms in our office manager's name on the reservation instead of mine! In order for me to check into our rooms, she was to personally call, identify herself, and allow me to check out our rooms! Thank goodness she was back in the office after summer break! Also, at the time of booking the rooms over the phone, we were told we had complimentary continental for the students, but that was not the case when we walked in to the lobby dining room, which made for an awkward situation, given the per diem allotment of dining funds each student was given. I ended up having to charge the meal costs to the rooms and get administrative approval while on site. Worst of all was the way Angela treated my students and me during this exchange. This hotel's "policies" and their employees lack of understanding outweigh the appeal of this hotel's location and name brand. Very disappointed.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. I was using a knee scooter due to a surgery and everyone made sure I has what I needed including a handicap room. The wait staff helped me out at breakfast even thought it was a buffet since I couldn't hold a plate and use the scooter very well. Room was clean each day and cool. A very nice place well worth the price.

Terrible hospitality. Would have given it zero had I been able to. The dinner choices are bland and do not have any carecter what so ever. Considering it is the best hotel in corvallis, I'm thinking of trying the budget inn because that's the quality I see here.

Beautiful lobby. Very comfortable and well kept rooms. The staff is all very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The employees were wonderful, helpful, respectful, efficient. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are the most comfortable I've slept on besides my own.

Bed was barely softer than sleeping on the floor and I was hardly able to sleep. My back still aches. Breakfast was terrible — I basically paid $10.00 for an apple — which was the only edible thing there. Seriously, do not get the breakfast. There are two places within a two block walk up 26th street that look like they serve actual food. I would have been better off flushing the money down the toliet and not eating because the only difference would be Hilton wouldn't have conned me out of my money. I was served pasty white pancakes which were not done. I don't even want to know what the sausage was. The breakfast was food-shaped and the bed was bed-shaped — that's the best I can say for it. I'm sure the only reason this place stays in business is because it's on campus and they know people will go there — so they think they don't have to care. Maybe the corporate office might want to think about how this hotel is hurting their corporate brand. Even though I went to another one recently that was just fine — I won't be going to this brand again or even another Hilton if there is any other option.

Have been here for many events but never stayed the night. Friendly staff with a clean and fun bar and dinner area.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the view from my window was nice. The process of getting my room was fast and efficient. The breakfast was 2/5, but everything else was fine.

Awesome! My son and I stayed for the weekend to attend an OSU Football game. The hotel was completely full, but you wouldn't know it by the way the staff treated us. The staff was great — friendly, helpful, professional, the room was great, and the location was perfect!

This is a nice hotel, though a little downscale for what I usually expect from a Hilton. Noise traveled a bit too well, and I heard the kids who were playing in the hallways far too often. I loved the free tea (coffee and water also available) set out in the lobby each morning. It was great to grab a cup of Earl Grey to-go on my way out the door. For anyone using the treadmills — — the earphones jack is out of sight under the display area. Took me longer to find that than I care to admit.

Decent rooms but subpar compared to even a standard holiday inn express. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. Not with the $11. Not worth $5! Those eggs and potatoes were easily the worst things I have ever eaten in my life! However, the fitness center is lovely and walking distance to Reeser.

Good size pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by university grounds which are beautiful.

Great beds/room. Loved that the a/c worked so well! Staff was a little disappointing, a group of young workers just stood around talking at the counter. The $11 breakfast is not worth it, that quality should be complimentary. The pool and hot tub was exceptional! Very clean. This hotel is a bit busy! We couldn't even find a place to park.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in late August 2014. The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly. The fitness centre was probably my favourite part of the hotel as there are cardio machines in addition to some nice free weights available. I wasn't really interested in eating an $11 all you can eat breakfast every morning so I crossed the street and visited the Peet's Coffee on OSU campus (literally across the street) and had excellent coffee and baked goods. A nice suggestion for a lighter, less expensive breakfast.

This is my 15th stay in this HGI over the past year for business, and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff alone makes this an easy 5-star rating for me. This morning the chef behind the buffet greeted me with a glowing smile and the waitress seated me immediately. My rental car wouldn't start, so a staff member drove his truck over to jump it. In the pouring rain. Tonight I got a burger for room service, forgot the bacon (d'oh! ) and called back 10-15 minutes into the order to ask if it was too late. The manager on duty jogged over to the chef to make sure I got my bacon. It's important to note that I'm not the pope or anyone famous. Just a regular, who consistently receives almost cartoon-like levels of care and attentiveness with each stay that I haven't gotten at the dozens of other hotels I regular for my traveling job. Very clean and most likely nicest rooms in area, but a little pricey for what you get.

I've stayed here a few nights a month for the last few months and as a business hotel its decent. Agree with most of the comments except for when it comes to the food. I for one like the convenience of walking down and grabbing breakfast in the lobby and will do so in spite of the so-so quality you can expect at this type of hotel. However, after more than half a dozen chances I just refuse to eat their food now. Just found a place this morning called Sunny Side Up that (for the same price) was excellent and lucky me, its on the way in to the office.

We've stayed here twice when in Corvallis and we love it. It's so nice and clean, with a great location — — plus it has an excellent restaurant downstairs where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. We also had a fantastic marionberry cobbler there that we haven't stopped talking about. The rooms are nice, the service is excellent and the location is fantastic adjacent to OSU campus.

Lovely place, nice rooms — walls between rooms so thin when the alarm next door went off — took him over a minute to turn it off — at 7:30AM we were awake. We cancelled the other two nights we had planned to stay.
