Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff and a very charming area.

We love this hotel. It’s gorgeous and in an awesome location.

You could not ask for a more beautiful, historic, hotel. If you enjoy feeling steeped in history, this is the place for you. From friendly, old-fashioned customer service, to the beautiful rooms, this place harkens back to a different time but does not lack in modern amenities. The rooms are on the small side for modern ideals, but the decorations and paint make it warm and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and they give you plenty of nice pillows. Even their toiletries are excellent. I have stayed her multiple times and have yet to be even slightly disappointed.

This hotel is exceptionally clean. It is walking distance to an amazing variety of shops. I am excited to go to the spa tomorrow. Pet friendly, though I left my boys home this time.

Beautiful old classic hotel.

The staff rescued or family from a poor online hotel booking at another hotel. We were doing some Christmas shopping in downtown Ashland (after seeing our underwhelming room for the night) and saw this warm, beautifully decorated hotel lobby and we couldn't resist popping in. They got us a room on the 9th floor and we were comfy, cozy within the hour, along with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Lovely vintage feel right on the main street, which we loved! Close to local eateries and cute shops. Highly recommend.

It is our favorite hotel. Wonderful experience to stay over on our drives to California. Great hotel and restaurant and wonderful staff.

Just spent our 22nd wedding anniversary there and had a great weekend… and a fantastic dinner at Larks with wonderful service!

Our group enjoyed their time at this historical hotel! The location was perfect and Karolina was a treat to work with! Our private dinner in the English garden was superior and very special! We really enjoyed the double queen rooms with the parlor! Over all our experience at the Ashland Springs Hotel was wonderful!

Great getaway. Rooms were a little small but had everything you need. It was romantic. Great place for a couple. And it was close to everything.

Such a lovely place to stay… lots of nostalgia and very well-maintained Ruby was the sweetest and most pleasant and helpful wait service at breakfast this morning keeping everything running smoothly with a beautiful disposition.

We Love this old hotel they are all decorated for Christmas & it looks so gorgeous love there restaurant too! Yum!

Fabulous sense of ambiance… art nouveau and art deco architecture set in a bucolic and scenic small town In southern Oregon. Great service too! Stay here while attending the Shakspear festival and simply walk a block to the theaters! Larks, the on site restaurant, is fabulous… elegant locally grown, farm to table specials!

This is the place to stay if you come to Ashland. Excellent restaurant, nice rooms, great location.

We fell in love with this hotel. Our daughter was married in the English Garden this past weekend. No words can express the gratitude we have for the hotel and that stuff. They made my daughters dream come true on her wedding day. Down to every small little detail, Jason was hands on at any moment when needed he held our hands through the whole process. The food was magnificent, the Crystal room was beyond beautiful. Thanks again to Jason and the full staff at Ashland Springs.

Fun historic hotel. Room was small, but nice period decor. Close enough to walk to many shops and restaurants, as well as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

This place is historic. I love the elegance of the entry, the spiraling staircase, the heavy thick walls that ensure privacy. It is the tallest building in town which results in the best Vistas in every direction. The continental breakfast is really a full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, bagels and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

On the way out we visited for lunch. And found it to be absolutely fantastic I was terribly thirsty and they kept my water glass filled and I had a a lemonade of sorts and they kept that field as well. Unfortunately I didn't get an opportunity to check behind the curtain for the crushed fly. This is an extremely popular place you do need reservations and I do think it's well worth the money that you spend on it. I do think though it would be better to go for lunch and kind of get a feel for the place then going for dinner the first time. I would do a few things make reservations try their specials ask the server and the hostesses for recommendations and if you drink then maybe do the specials as well but I do you think it's important that you visit larks.

We loved the location, the beautiful bedding, the amenities! The great addition of afternoon tea and light fare on the mezzanine made this experience like visiting an old world establishment. Great proximity to the festival. Great service from friendly staff. And having Larks on the premises made for a fabulous week in Ashland. Cannot wait to return.

I was attending a wedding, so I didn't get to see much of the hotel. What I did get to see through, was gorgeous. The staff was friendly when we had questions. I believe the food for the wedding was catered by the hotel, and it was of good quality (the prime rib was quite tender).

I visited here for a wedding. We were not staying at the hotel as guests so I can only comment on the event aspect. The space was nice and all of the staff that I encountered were very helpful. The food was very good as well.

All though the guests treated us like we were scum the staff was amazing and the room was fantastic.

Poor value for the price. Rooms vary from tiny to adequate. Online pictures are misleading. Front desk staff are not helpful when problems occur. All they can do is pass the problem onto someone else. In house breakfast is average. The only strong positive is the location — close to OSF, shopping and restaurants.

Nice location for the price though was hoping for a bigger room. Other than room size it was great.

Bed, pillows, & sheets were great; clean room; but old stained carpet. Hoping to see more historical photos, historical memorabilia on display.

All the little details like lavender bath sachets on our bed make staying here an experience! The staff is Wonderful and helpful! Our favorite spot in Ashland!

The room was beautiful. Dinner at lakes was amazing. They even had a lavender sachet on the bed as a gift. Staff was amazing! Highly recommend.

Love staying at this hotel! The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are on the small side, but it's a historic hotel. Plus they have everything you need. And the hotel has great deals in the winter!

I love this historic hotel. The rooms are small but quaint. I've stayed here at least 10 times over the past 9 years. The breakfast is lovely and I'm a huge fan of the bath satchel.

My wife and I loved the hotel. The rooms were small but very well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was built in the 1920's. The walls are thin and the bathrooms are small. And, it has a ton of charm! The sign by the elevator says maximum capacity is five people. If you're in a hurry take the stairs. This elevator will not rush for anything or anyone. It's nice to have a breakfast area without a tv… just peace and quiet. Light breakfast; breads, yogurts, fruit, cereals, potatoes and scrambled eggs.

Lobby has tonnes of character. If you're not hung up on super modern fittings and chrome or polished marble benches, this place has an olde world charm and vibe. Great location right in the heart of Ashland's main shop strip.

I have a partial handicap, and need grab bars in the bath tub. They are OK, but there are simply too few of them. The other thing that I need is a valet, which I understand would be impossible for a hotel of this size. The restaurant's prices are too high, but the free breakfast is satisfactory. There is an elevator, but it is small and slow. Prices in Ashland during the Shakespeare Festival are high, but The Ashland Springs is the highest, and so if you are looking for size and conveniences then you should look for a different place, but if beauty and history are number 1 then The Ashland Springs might be your choice. One last advantage is the fact that it is very close to the Festival.

Ashland Springs hotel is a restored European style hotel. Some of the rooms, nicely appointed, are very small. Larger rooms may be available so it is wise to inquire about what is available. The location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Ashland's downtown district and an easy walk to theatre, shopping, restaurants, and park. The restaurant associated with the hotel, Larks, is very good.

The best place to stay in Ashland. Proximity to Lithuania Park, the theaters and top notch restaurant.

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are excellent and well maintained. The staff is always so amenable towards taking care of our every need! We have stayed here for several years now and have never ever been disappointed. And it is so great to have such a fine place so very close to the theaters and fine restaurants in the area. I might add The Lark is a fantastic restaurant with a great menu and service. We could eat every meal there but always reach out to the many other great establishments in the area! This is certainly not the Ashland I went to in the late 60s and early 70s! It is so different and so wonderful. Not so sure I want you all to know about the Ashland Springs Hotel though as we now have to make our reservations for the following year when we are there! But we will share!

Had a great experience staying here for my birthday. They front desk staff went out of their way to make my birthday special. Hot and cold continental breakfast was better than many others and well presented, but not quite as nice as a very few. We didn't try any services from the spa, but have heard it's wonderful. Very nice, relaxing atmosphere and interesting, ornate architecture. I would highly recommend staying at the Ashland Springs Hotel for any special trip to Ashland.

This hotel is very nice! It's right in downtown Ashland so it's very easy to drop your stuff off and go shopping! There's a continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and restaurant. The parking lot is very hot, so make sure to find a shady spot. The service so far has also been great. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you need somewhere reliable to stay.

The rooms are very small, but they are comfortable. The environment is very beautiful, and they have free tea every afternoon.

The menu was well executed. The decor is a bit… Odd, and the drink choices were a bit eclectic. However; it is an Ashland restaurant. Pretty pricey fare, but worth it.

Loved our visit to the Ashland Springs hotel, there for a two-day theater visit. The hotel is lovely, well-appointed, and a pleasure to visit. Yes, the rooms are small and goodness knows the bathroom was small, but the service and ambience made up for it (along with the free parking and location). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location for a quick getaway. Close to shops, movies, bars. Great dinner at Larks. Room a bit small, but tastefully remodeled. Didn't realize there was a coffee pot in the closet! Nice views from our room. Free parking and Wi-Fi a plus.

Strong mold smell and stains on carpets. Rooms are small, dirty and dark. Staff is rude and I noticed scientology booklets on the front counter. Seems they are promoting scientology. Creepy feeling from the staff. I will not go back.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is in the perfect location downtown, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The room, though a bit small, were very cozy and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Planned to check in on a friday night, was there with my daughter and little boy, check in guy was rude the whole time just making sure my 5 yr. Old wasn't touching anything. Well he gave me the rate, I told him that was fine. I would take the room, the hotel seemed fancy and very nice. Until, we got in the elevator. It was old, carpet was dirty my little one already didn't like it. We went in the room. The carpet had stains, it was very dark and was not clean. For the price and as nice as it seemed you would think rooms can be very clean! It was so dark and just dirty that I instantly went back and told the check out guy, we were not staying there. The whole time I was trying to ask him if I needed to sign something saying I was cancelling he was just looking to see what my little one was doing, just telling him to quite down and stay still and not to touch anything, just being rude because obviously I was not going to stay in this nasty place. Not only did I leave right away, they held funds on my card for a whole week! I didn't even stay there! No one even explained this was going to happen and my funds where held for way more than the amount quoted. I called and tried to complain to the other check in guy who's name was Justin and he didn't even seem to care about what my experience was like. If you stay here make sure you don't bring your kids, these people are sooooo rude! I will never ever go or recommend to anyone. Not so fancy, actually dirty old rooms!

Nobody is going to mistake this for a luxury hotel. All the furnishings are worn and could use a good cleaning. But it's got that warm homey feel, kind of like visiting Aunt Edna's except there's no clear plastic slipcover on the sofa. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit cramped but have a great view of the mountains. You're right in downtown Ashland with great shopping and restaurants just outside the door. Work it off by hiking up Ashland Creek to Lithia Park. It's beautiful. I was there in the fall off-season and with the laid-back ambiance it's hard to complain about a little wear and tear.

Ashlands Springs is the best hotel in town for OSF visitors. The theaters are right down the street. You are in walking distance to many great restaurants, and the hotel has old-world elegance with modern convenience. Service is great and the prices are reasonable.

My husband and I stopped for a night or two on our honeymoon road trip and ended up staying a week and a half! I loved our room, which was small but warm, cozy and inviting! (Our room had just enough room for our queen bed, a bedside table in one corner, a small desk on the other side of the bed, and an entertainment cabinet at the foot of the bed. ) The staff was friendly and accommodating, and let us upgrade to a package deal for two of the nights we stayed. Also, I loved the robes provided in the room. I lived in it when we were in the room — which wasn't often because nearly everything is in walking distance.
