Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had the patty melt and it was hot and fresh, came with delicious potato salad. Service was great, it had a great hometown feel about it, and you could tell there were a lot of locals. I would definitely recommend it if you're in Baker City Oregon, it's right across the street from Les Schwab.

You have bedbugs, the people are extremely nice, but I woke up all bit up, the food not to taste, mash potatoes and brown gravy very good, beef not so much, once again friendly people.

Got a room with 3 queen beds for less than $100 tax included. Thought that was a great deal, then they also provided a free breakfast for everyone at the restaurant menu equivalent of approx $6 per person with 5 of us that brings the price down to under $70 wonderful! last night of a week long motorcycle trip.

Staff was very friendly even in the wee hours of the night. Check in was easy. The room was very comfortable and slept well in a comfortable bed. Good supply of towels, soap and shampoo. Able to keep the room temperature comfortable whether it was hot or cold outside. The motel is situated next to a stream which was aesthetically nice. Morning breakfast was delicious with good choices and included in the daily rate! Trees in front of the restraurant had birds and squirrels to watch while eating. Restraurant staff was very friendly too with a tone that indicates they love their job!

This is a budget friendly motel with an old western atmosphere. There was a couple of events going on in town, and they were very busy. We got our room, showered, and headed for bed. There was a large crowd of people down from our room that was being obnoxious at 11:30 that night. I couldn't sleep. So I called the front desk. 3 minutes later the crowd was gone. I got a good night sleep. They have a continental breakfast at the restaurant next door. This was a different kind of concept. They gave us coupons when we checked in. You could have a bowl of oatmeal with toast, or biscuits and gravy, or one egg, bacon or sausage and toast, with hash browns for free. You could add anything you wanted, but you had to pay. Or the coupon would get you $2 off any menu item. Well the prices were really good. We added a few things to our meals, and spent $12 on a really good breakfast for 5 people. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Overall this place is great, the motel wasn't bad, there was a few dead bugs in the bathroom and a few ants, and a water bottle under the bed. But the motel room was decent, nothing wrong with it, it appeared to be clean other than the things I previously mentioned. The service was great, our neighbors were up half the night yelling and screaming outside. We called the motel service and they asked them to stop. The restaurant was really good, it's like one of those places that has extremely breakfast. It's a nice dinner and you get a good discount on the continental breakfast. I loved the food there. It reminds me of Angie's in Logan Utah.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s not the fanciest digs but it’s so peaceful and quiet. I don’t understand why the doors look so bad or why they have shag carpet. I think it might just be a work in progress. I did my 34 hour restart here. But I had to drop my trailer at the corral. For $54 you can’t go wrong. And we didn’t get our free breakfast because of the bike rally. The buffet was meh… but I will be back. You just can’t beat the quiet relaxation.

Very nice place especially for the price! Clean rooms wonderful staff who was nice enough to wait an extra few minutes for us to check in a little bit after their front desk closed. We didn’t get a chance to take them up on their complimentary breakfast at the diner across the parking lot but it certainly sounded like a step above the normal continental breakfast elsewhere! We will definitely stay here again!

The kind of diner that features in movies. The kind of diner where the waitstaff calls you "hon" and it feels right. The kind of diner that serves stacks of good food. This is my kind of diner.

Comfortable, clean, old motel. Nice people at the desk. Free coffee. Large room. Poor Wi-Fi. Excellent free breakfast.

Room for the price was nice enough and the bed wasn't too uncomfortable. The shower head was almost unfunctional however. The breakfast was very good and the staff was nice, the restaurant was obviously very understaffed however and the service was inevitably slow. I'd recommend the place for what you pay, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes!

Extremely polite and friendly woman at desk. Made us feel at home. Rooms aren’t contemporary but have everything you need. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Awesome price and even gave Pilot Car discount ❤️ Thank you.

Wow I love it… room has more that I need, its clean and neet plus it has old look and smell brings me back in past. Honestly reminds me on my olds house… I wish I could live here :) You get free good breakfast too that is not just jelly and butter. Front desk lady was very nice and helpful. For the end price was so affordable. Thank you guys I really needed good rest.

This place was great! Great deals, clean room with microwave, fridge and huge shower! It's not mentioned but its right on a river so we had this relaxing water to listen to. The staff is so friendly and the breakfast was beyond what you would expect… really yummy food. They were kind enough to match the online price as well as let us use cash because our bank suspected something because it was used amongst many states on our road trip and froze my card. I definitely will return, this place is awesome! Now it's time to head home to seattle. Thank you guys!

We stayed 2 nights and had 3 meals. The service in both the motel and the restaurant was awesome! Very friendly staff! Room was small but clean. And a herd of deer welcomed us as we arrived!

The staff is friendly and their cooks do a great job. All their food is good. The taco salad is huge. Definitely a great place to eat.

If you are looking for that traditional menu of American fare of steak, mashed potatoes or hash browns this is your stop. A salad bar and bottomless coffee plus all day breakfast makes sure everyone in your party will find something to eat here. And the desserts look really good here too.

I have never been so grossed out before. Got to the hotel and loved the front desk lady. Super nice. But once we got to the room our experience started going down hill. I turned down the sheets to get in bed and had a large brown skid mark on the bottom sheet. I thought, well that's yucky a stain on the sheet that looks like poop. Then I looked a little closer and realized it was not an unfortunate stain it was poop. I am positive this hotel does not change the sheets between customers every time. I was super tired and went to the front desk to get new sheets or to change rooms normally I would ask for my money back but I could not keep my eyes open. The woman was embarrassed and gave me a new room. I did check closely if the sheets were clean. Good luck at this place.

Excellent service, friendly staff & the food was great! I had the trail boss, which must have been dreamed up by a wife for her husband! I lived thru the giant burger wrapped in bacon and jalapeños, cheese and all the fixings. My wife had the liver and onions and it was tender and perfectly cooked. We will go out of our way to return there.
