DO NOT STAY! We stayed here July 26-29 for the OKC Shootout truck show at fairgrounds. We arrived on Thursday. First room we were put in air did not. Work correctly and fridge didn't work at all. Told front desk and they moved us to 2nd floor room 207. The elevator was sketchy. It actually broke down on sat and housekeeping couldn't get their carts upstairs. Till later the afternoon. The front desk ppl were mostly friendly, but I cannot say that about housekeeping. They didn't speak enough English to understand a word I was saying. Breakfast is a joke. Liquid gravy like substance, microwaved circle shaped egg things, bagels hard as a rock. The bathroom door would NOT shut and it was by far the WORST toliet paper ever. Plus the toilet did not flush correctly. I actually had to have housekeeping plunge it on Saturday and there was nothing in it but the crappy toilet paper. The outside doors are NOT secure with key cards. They have a slot to be but are not. You had to slam the room door to get it to close. They had the worst tiny bathroom towels and were scratchy. The pillows… I'm not even sure they can be called that between the 4 of them on the bed they maybe had enough fluff in them to make 1… I also have never been to a place that does not have regular tea bags. They looked at me like I was from mars when I asked for just a regular tea bag. Needless to say they didn't have any. And the lady tried to tell me I couldn't take my cup out of the "breakfast area" which they leave nothing I mean not a cookie or anything in. The last Ramada we stayed at had coffee and cookies nightly. I just wanted to make some tea because I got sick while I was there on Saturday. I couldn't even rest in my room for the kids running above me and down the hallway… then when housekeeping came on Saturday I told them we messed clean towels and to please make the bed. There were 3 of them and they could NOT communicate with me. I finally had to physically show them what I meant. It was extremely frustrating. We talked to a lot of guys at the show that paid about the same as we did and had a much better experience. The worst part of whole thing was the carpet design camouflaged it well but when I walked barefoot you could feel the unevenness of the floor under your feet. And the hallways were so musty and hot. The take some creative pictures for their post. I WILL NOT STAY here again!
