Very quite and surprisingly clean. Mel the front desk person was absolutely amazing. Will definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Definitely worth more than what I paid. Friendly and helpful staff, room is clean, NOT the funky smell that other hotels have. I'll definitely stay here again.

I travel a lot. I mistook this place for another by chance and was worried by the looks of the outside if it would be a train wreck. Then the young lady at the front desk told me it was $55. — another concern. So I asked to see a room. She walked me to room 216 — king bed. It was very clean and well done. Not brand new but I was okay with it. As I am leaving now I have to say — excellent. Everything was extremely clean and the cleaning crew cares about that. That young lady working the front desk was so attentive — she was as good as I have ever experienced at even 5 star. It was quiet and I felt we were safe. My son and I just checked out and we had a great stay. The outside looks kinda off but the room was fantastic and the office staff was delightful. Definitely a great price too perfect for OU events. We’ll be back next time we’re in Norman. Definitely has this bridezillas stamp of approval lol.

This place is cute, clean and the staff is absolutely amazing. We stayed on our drive to Texas and stayed on our way back. You could not ask for better service. We've stayed in huge fancy hotels that cost 5 times as much per night, I would stay here vs. Those anytime.

This place was absolutely amazing. I called late to reserve a room. They stayed open later than they were supposed to to help me out with a room for the night. They went above and beyond as far as customer service is concerned. The room was comfy. Can't beat it for the money! Plenty of oversized parking if you are in a Uhaul or towing anything. Easy on and off from the freeway too.

My wife and I stayed there for the Norman Medieval Faire. It was conveniently located, clean, comfortable and very reasonable prices. Mel was a joy to talk to and the other staff was great. We'll be back next year!

This is an extraordinary place to stay if you are visiting Norman. At first I thought it to be a decent place to stay for my friend's wedding, but it turns out this place was a hidden gem in the city for visitors. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, and affordable. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Particularly, I thank Mel for being a kind, helpful, and gracious host during my stay in Norman. Although I stayed here only for several days, the friendliness she showed was amazing and I felt definitely welcomed to be there. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Norman. Also, thank you for extra water and gatorade; it was really nice to have those on my drive back to Alabama.

Thunderbird Lodge is an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone! The rooms were clean and comfy. I felt safe the entire time during my stay. It's conveniently located close to University of Oklahoma and 20 minutes from Oklahoma City. The price was affordable and they are flexible with arrivals if you call ahead. The staff and guest service was outstanding as well. It was a pleasure getting to know Mel, Jada, and Martin during my 3 day stay. Mel was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. It was always fantastic talking with her when I left for the day and when I came back. I also got to relax on the patio and talk with Jada and Martin while we watched some 4th of July Fireworks. It was a highlight of my trip getting to know them and staying at the Thunderbird Lodge and I think you'll enjoy it too!
