Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Just needed a place to crash for the night because of a flat tire so didn't really check the place out too much.

The room was spacious and bigger than I expected. The breakfast was great. The hotel was very secure and close to good restaurants and stores.

Had to spend a few night in Norman and ended up choosing this place, primarily due to the low price and availability of rooms. But the beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet, while the breakfast options were a little limited (but still available). Good place to stay for a night or two if you are in town!

The Days Inn Hotel was clean and the workers were very friendly. The price is reasonable and the free lunch we liked a lot.

Pros: Friendly attentive staff. Good location. Cons: The hotel needs to be updated. The walls were dirty and needed repair. There was nail polish and a cigarette burn on my blanket. I was in a non-smoking room.

Was clean and reasonably priced. Starting to show its age a bit with loose things here and there. But overall felt it was a good value and I slept well.

We stay here every year while we are in town for the Norman Medieval Fair. The staff are always friendly and kind. The rooms are clean, I love that we have a balcony when we stay on the 2nd floor. And this hotel is pet friendly! It’s an older hotel but it is well cared for, and we look forward to staying here each year.

I was very disappointed by my stay at this hotel. I usually stay at this hotel, having done so for several years, each year when I attend a conference. I had not had a problem until this particular stay. The room had not been cleaned very well, for example I could see trash behind the bed, and the bathroom was a little bit grimey. Additionally, the doors need to be updated a bit so that they close more properly. The biggest problems however came upon checking out, when I check the drawers and saw a used condom wrapper inside. I reported this to management and also reported that I had received the wrong room. I was not credited the difference, though I received a print out sheet showing me that I was paying more for the room that I received then the rate that the hotel charges. It is very disappointing that I will now have to find a new hotel to stay at for the future when this one used to be so reliable.

Pretty standard affair for a Days Inn as far as check-in and room quality are concerned. Breakfast is on point most days with a small variety of hot foods, cereals, fruit, yogurt. Housekeepers are A1, and keep the rooms smelling nice.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am in the process of moving my life across the country, and have been driving for seven hours, and have seven+ more to go and have a very strict timeline. I called days inn 2 1/2 hours in advance, around 4:30 AM, asking if I could get a room even though I would only need it for about an hour and a half to nap. The receptionist said that was fine. I even offered to pay in advance to reserve a room, but the woman on the line said that "they had plenty of rooms and that I didn't need to and to just come on in. " I understood and agreed to the fact that I would pay for a full night regardless of the short stay. I got there, and the gray haired woman at the front desk refused to give me a room because it was after 6:30 am. Even though I had already told her that I wouldn't be there for 2 1/2 hours at 4:30 AM, which would put me at the motel at 7 AM, she still refused even though I was 12 minutes earlier than I said I would be. Also she refused to provide her managers phone number. I am exhausted. So I had to walk across the highway to Super 8. They had no problem accommodating me.

Bang for the buck it really was a nice place to be able to spend a weekend and not blow your whole wallet on where you're going to lay your head. Clean rooms affordable prices and a decent breakfast, what else can you ask for? I would definitely stay there again.

Great deal for an overnight stay! very pleased with cable, the furnishings and amenities. Desk staff very capable and friendly.

I stayed 2 weeks ago, & it was great. Got my King Bed, TV worked well. This trip? Got 2 queens, people fighting outside, TV stuck on Discovery Channel, & the fridge doesn't hardly work. But45 a night, can't complain too much. Rooms are clean, easy access to highway, & walmart, and basically everything in Norman.

Check-in was easy. Upon entering the hallway we were overcome by a bad smell. It was worse when we opened the door to our room. The carpets were filthy, cigarette burns everywhere and the pet urine odor was extremely bad. The bathroom counter had not been cleaned, the toilet paper roll was almost empty with no replacement, tub mat had mold on it, and bathroon electric receptical was wobbly and couldn't hold a plug. Walls, doors, baseboards, floors, and light switches were needing a good wipe down. A/C did work but made lots of noise. Only pluses to the room were decent beds, pillows and TV. Liked that it had a patio door to open so we could air the place out. Would never stay there again and do not reccomend anybody else staying there either. Needs MAJOR cleaning.

Not bad for a budget stay. I liked there was a door that opened to the outside and another door opened to the interior of the building. It was very clean. The AC had a personality all its own. That one thing is my only real down comment. The toilet was alsovery low. If you require any type of assistance to sit or stand this bathroom will not be for you.

Good location. Clean room. Check in service without any problem.

Cheap clean and decent. Ask for a non smoking room the beds and rooms are nicer. It is a good place to stay over at if in town for a game or other college event. Plus it has restaurants a Walmart and best Buy next door. Great location target is just around the corner.

Great price for a very solid hotel. Convenient location.

I was just expecting a middling Days Inn experience, but this particular Days Inn is off the chain. Really clean and fresh. Stay, for sure. Oh, but the pool is full of dirt and grass. Bummer if you're looking to swim, great photo op if not.

The rooms were clean and the price was good. The man providing service at checkout was a bit rude.

Smelled like every guest was smoking in a npn-smoking hotel. The rail on the balcony was held on by one bolt. Everything else was mediocre. If you just want a place to sleep that's cheap, it would be fine.

Good rooms alone I did not like that they covered the pool.

Update: I decided to come back since we weren't interested in the pool anyway. Much better room this time and front desk guy was great. 1st visit:Pool is filled with dirt. Room has odd moist smell. Check in guy was nice but new and didn't know anything about area.

I was a littlr worried when I first got here, but I've really enjoyed my stay over the week. For $55, a clean room with 2 beds and decent breakfast is a great value. Hotel staff was friendly and overall much better than I thought it'd be.

Very clean rooms. It's all working. The breakfast was very good. Egg, Italian sausage, juices, coffee … waffles.

By far the cleanest Days Inn we have ever stayed at, however the sofa bed was not comfortable at all.

Truly a 4 star experience. I enjoyed the stay to a 4 star extent!

Very clean, updated room. Easy access to I-35. Close to shopping and dining. Friendly staff.

I came in with all of the expectations that you'd expect for a cheap hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The room was reasonably sized and had nice features (e. G. A fridge, although I didn't use it). Room was clean, although the smell of cleaning products was still somewhat present which was non-ideal, but I acclimated to that quickly so it was no issue.

The room was ok. Clean. A/C was not terrific. Staff was competent and friendly.

Not bad. First night someone got chased and arrested by the police right outside of our door at 4 AM. So first nights sleep wasn't good. But I couldn't complain about the stay afterwards.

Dope hotel. Cheap, clean, employees were super friendly.

I left a Bluetooth headset in the room and I have not been able to get it back.

Kinda old… smoking room with many burns in carpet (that's expected though) … room not quite immaculate.

This is a hotel where we have been before and were always satisfied, Last night though was another story. We arrived late after a long trip and the AC was off in the room. This being July, the temp must have been over 130 when we arrived. It took over 3h for the temp inside the room to be barely bearable… My wife didnt fall asleep until some time in the morning The front desk had nothing else to offer us. Not even an apology Worse night in a long time.

I would give this hotel zero stars if that was an option. We stayed Friday (5/16/2015) in room 139. First, the room smelled like a kennel-very strong pet urine smell. The room is right inside the back entry door so until about midnight guests came in and out the door which slams shut making loud noise and shaking our room. The same thing started back up around 5:00 am when guests were leaving. The air conditioner was so loud it would wake you when it started to kick on and then would make loud gurgling noise when it shut off. There was not enough water from the shower head to wash and rinse all the shampoo out of your hair. Horrible stay.

Clean room, small pet friendly, great breakfast and friendly staff. Would have given 5 star, but room smelled stale.

I'd say the quality is fair, not good or poor. Room was updated and clean but smelled old. AC very loud. Don't count on "continental breakfast". The breakfast area consists of one table; the menu is literally two items, I was not able to have more than just one sip of that coffee. For one night it's an ok stay, especially if you want to be near OU.

The staff at Guest Inn in Norman asked a friend of mine to leave because they did not like the way he "looked". He did not do anything threatening or harmful they simply judged him on his appearance. In addition, they did a free on-line background search on him and even though he is turning his life around, they asked him to leave based on past legal issues. They gossiped about him to other guests as well. I will no longer be using them and encourage others to stop as well.
