Great location, modern beachy decor, quiet suites, all staff so friendly and helpful, location is great on main street for shopping and restaurants, walk across the street and through short sidewalk and you are on the beach, tour office on site. Shout out to KRISTINA MAHALO at the front desk who was so helpful and accommodating with our requests — super cheery too! loved this resort!

We love the Waikiki Beachcomber, the position, design, staff, the BEST cafe, food, entertainment, across from the beach, shopping, restaurants it’s just fantastic and we will definitely return. We asked for Diamond Head side and got it the view from our room amazing. Saving up for our next visit. Thanks 🙏 for our great family experience you were amazing.

Best Hotel in waikiki. Service is excellent. EEspecially Krisitina. She is top notch & really accommodated us. And always with a smile. We've stayed here many times. Never disappointed!

This is a great family and budget friendly hotel. Even though it is across the street from the beach, and not on it, the view was perfect! Sitting in the balcony to watch the fireworks, was such a nice treat. We could even see the morning surfers. It’s convenient to everything and the front desk aloha spirit put smiles on our faces. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Our ocean view suite was actually a city view. Only way to see the ocean was to go on the balcony and look around the corner. Front desk does not know how to answer the phone or act upon a complaint. Very disappointed in our stay.

Everything was amazing, we stayed in the ocen view room on the 23rd floor the view was amazing. Beautiful atmosphere everywhere in the hotel is definitely instagrammable. Its connected to the international marketplace yayyye. If you love to shop like I do this was a big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here 10/10. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just got done with our first stay! This was our first travel to Oahu in over 20 years, and this certainly won’t be our last time there. Everything was amazing. Such a wonderful hotel with clean and spacious rooms with great amenities. Location was amazing with it being so close to Waikiki Beach, and bonus that it is right next to International Market Place and Royal Hawaiian Center! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to come back!

Had a great staycation. Pool and hot tub were great, check in was quick and easy, location is very convenient. Hope to come again. :)

Best Hotel in Waikiki!

Hoku at Expedia concierge desk, I would give this place a 6 star if that was an option. She was able to book me on Magnum helicopters, an awesome experience with the dolphins, the best luau on the island that (I had not even thought of), and so much more. When you're on vacation and your time is so valuable, the concierge know how to save you time and money — don't think for a minute this service is going to cost you more! They all just want to save you money. The hotel staff, security guard, front desk, parking garage, maid service, everyone treated me like family. This Uncle will not let any of my friends and family stay anywhere else! If you want to experience the best, it's here. It is walking distance to anything, extremely close to convenience stores on every side, bicycles to rent, the beach is so close. Best coffee shop on the island is in the lobby, live music and not on most occasions. In my opinion, the views from the sunrise are the best and believe it or not, the least expensive. I so wish I would have discovered this place 7 months ago!

Lovely friendly staff, great location so close to beach and shops. Love the lobby! Very nice place to stay and the wall paper in the bathroom and rooms is so cool, the colours are so beach and relaxing. The bed is so big and so comfy! We got to use a hospitality room on arrival and pool before checking into our room. The pool used everyday and the Wi-Fi was fast. Just love the way this place is. X.

Had a hoot on this canoe — wish there was an option for a longer session — two rides went very quickly — however I’d highly recommend — staff were great.

Although our first evening was full of a 4 hr wait outside and many fire trucks we had an amazing time. Beautiful hotel, located in the middle of everything and literally across the street from the beach! Helpful friendly staff. Great shops and restaurants onsite. Definitely recommend and will return! Also we had 2 rooms (connecting) which was very nice.

Great customer service, rooms are still not remodeled with construction. I feel the price and top notch service more than makes up for it with plenty to do around. Short walk to beach super amazing Expedia guy named James with the hook ups on trips for the weekend. Would come again.

Excellent staff and hotel. Great location to the main street in Waikiki. Major renovations being done at the hotel, but no problems to the guests. Will stay again at this hotel when we come back in a couple of years time.

We are Australians (that have lived in Fiji for the last 6 years) and stayed at the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger for 8 nights in June/July 2018. The location is perfect — right in the centre of the Waikiki district and only a 1 minute walk to the central part of Waikiki Beach. The Concierge, James, is a legend. All of the tours he recommended were awesome and he pleaded for feedback when we returned so he could gauge future recommendations to guests. The hotel was going through some renovations, but you hardly notice. We have stayed in some amazing hotels all across the South Pacific and this definitely rates as 5 Star, especially given the service we received (in particularly) from James the Concierge. Highly recommended and we'll be back for sure. I highly recommend the pizza at the Brewery downstairs.

What a great location — steps from the beach, stores and restaurants surrounding it, all walkable. The rooms are basic but have a walkout balcony so you can enjoy the beautiful Hawaii weather. Laundry available on site for a charge. Small coffee machine in room (wish it was large or a Keurig). Staff are friendly and there is a great brewery right on site!

No frills hotel in Waikiki. The good. It is a fabulous location, in the middle of everything. Short walk to the beach. Great price. The bad. Our room was definitely not clean by my standards. There was hair in the shower and a small blood stain on our sheets.

Note: The Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber is about to rebrand on February 1, 2018 to the Beachcomber Waikiki by Outrigger. Our stay at the Holiday Inn was great! At check-in, the staff was really friendly. Not sure if it was because the hubs has platinum status at IHG or if it was because we were on our honeymoon but we got an upgrade to an ocean view room and a complimentary bottle of champagne. They also gave us a couple drawstring bags — — I think it's supposed to be one per room but they were giving out extras since they wouldn't need them after February 1. Room was spacious, pillows were particularly comfortable. The balcony was a really cute place to sit and enjoy the view, with the sounds of Waikiki below. There was some kind of street concert in the evening. Also we were pretty close to and able to walk to the Friday night fireworks the Hilton puts on every week. If you want to shop, there's lots of that nearby. Lots of food too, all within walking distance. Valet parking is $38/day. I didn't see signs for if there was self parking because we didn't rent a car.

I’ve stayed here 6 times and I’m never disappointed! Perfect location! Perfect staff who go above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful one! Super clean roomsI can’t recommend it enough!

We are currently staying at this hotel, and I recommend it to everyone! We haven't spent a whole lot of time in our room as the hotel is very close to a lot of awesome attractions but our bed ans room are very comfortable! After a long beautiful day. There's nothing quite like hopping into a freshly made bed!
The outdoor pool and hot tub are great amenities. We have also used the buses and Waikiki connector bus for visiting other places around the island. Everyone is very friendly here I can't help but smile! Thanks for the stay!

Words cannot express how much this hotel has made my stay in Waikiki truely amazing. Not only is everything under control, clean and fresh every single morning but the staff have gone beyond their limits to make my stay perfect! Today I had everything stolen from my bag at the beach. They kept me updated 24/7 whenever a bag had come in or if anyone had made contact with them. Knowing that I have lost all my money and ID they had arranged for food and VISA gift cards sent to our room. I cant thank the staff enough for everything they have done this trip and especially today. I will definetly be coming back here!
