Terrible experience, rooms are dirty, run down, staff was rude and manager was unwilling to help or address our concerns. If you can avoid doing business with them please do. Not a safe place for a family to stay. Dirty, broken beds. No COVID measures taken, no proper cleaning.

Very clean hotel beds very comfortable well worth the money.

Nastiest place I have ever stayed at! Corporate is no help! We went and the manager is RUDE she stated our room would be clean and it wasn’t cleaned any of the 3 days we were there! When we asked the manager she cut us off and said “what do you want” We said a clean room! DUH! Well fast forward and it was never cleaned. We would have left but we knew we wouldn’t be able to get our money back from the rude manager! We then called corporate on our 2nd day and they still did NOTHING! (They will day they gave us a 10% discount. We didn’t even want that except a clean room. ) NOW WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!
Everyone is refusing it! Now let’s see if the health and safety can do anything because this place needs to be SHUT DOWN and the manager needs to be FIRED!

If you enjoy being treated like a human being. Do not go here. People will possibly bang on your door repeatedly in the middle of the night. And Red Roof will tell you they contacted the law when they didn't. I was scared for my life when the stranger came back and I was hiding in the bathroom. Cooperate refuses to refund me.

The manager is a nasty woman, and she is turning away essential employees working in the area. Don’t waste your time or money.

So much for a nonsmoking hotel! There was a outdoor smoking receptacle outside of our room. We stay at Red Roof because it says smoke free! My husband had to walk through smoke to load our van. It made his eyes red and irritated and his eyes did not get better to much later that night. When I asked for the manager the person I thought was the clerk said he was not available. Turns out he was the manager and lied about it. I found out the Monday after we stayed.

Awful experience. Dirty, noisy, shady.

Stayed here for 2 nights for the first time visiting. No fire alarm in the room, dirty bathrooms, used toilet paper with stains on it and broken dressers. Would not recommend. When asked for compensation nothing was done except we were told we could be switched to another room. Will plan our next trip for another hotel.

This place is nasty. I called the desk the toilet was broken. I waited a half hour I called them again they told me they don't have any maintenance people. I go to use the lobby bathroom and that was broken. It's pretty bad when you have to walk to dunkin' donuts to use the bathroom of the hotel after you paid over $100 dollars for room. Ceiling tiles are stained in the lobby. Over flowing garage cans. Paint peeling on walls. This place is an embarrassment to Red roof. You would expect it from a cheap no-name hotel. I gave one star because the one behind the desk was nice.

We stay here every year, the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are great and the location is close to the Old Town and to the USS North Carolina.

I thought this was a nice place to stay. Staff was nice and the rooms were nice. Pet friendly with no extra fees like lots of other places. Good location.

I know the reputation this place had, and when the new management team took over a while back, I was very skeptical as to whether or not they could turn it around. But, with policy changes and things done differently, including some Renovations, this is actually a pretty decent place to stay. Especially for the price you pay.

Great location, very convienient. No maid service during our visit. Laminate floors were pretty dirty according to my socks. Continental breakfast was pretty skimpy but Waffle House was next door. No coffee pot in room. No pet fee! I would stay here again.

I stayed here with my kids on July 21, 2018, and if I could give this place a zero, I would! There was dog hair ALL OVER the bed, on the red leather lounge chair in the room, on the desk, and the nightstand. I had to bathe my kids again, due to the dog hair being on them, and they had to sleep in their pack and play. I even had the front desk bring me fresh sheets, and waited until almost midnight for them. I'm not even going to talk about how dirty our feet were after we showered! You could tell these rooms are not maintained properly, at all! I finally got the manager on the phone today, July 27th. After telling him I had the photos to prove it, he said he's only willing to give me 15% off of my next stay at that location bc it is my word against theirs, but he is not giving an type of refund. I would never stay there again, so it was pointless trying to track him down all week long. Paying well over $100, we shouldn't have had to experience anything like this.

The room was renovated but it looked liked it was a rushed job. No thought in the details of the room. There were 3 of us and they only had towels for two people and No microwave. We had to go to the office for both. The toilet was not cleaned and I called the office, he came an hour later empty handed to LOOK at the toilet. Then it took him another hour to come clean it. The beds were old. No towels by the pool and it was a mess out there. The office employees were nice especially the lady that setup the breakfast.

Highly recommend! Great location! Hotel looks like it was recently remodeled too. The shower water pressure was pretty good. Check in was quick & I was able to even check in a little early. Plus it’s dog friendly. Definitely the bang for the buck! We will be back again for sure!

Hotel room was super clean and looks to have been recently remodeled. Didn't try out the complimentary breakfast as there's breakfast choices on either side of the hotel. Staff was nice and courteous. Basic two story, no elevator.

The Rooms was great clean But the breakfast was bad there is a better selection at the Quality inn but the rooms at the red roof is great just bring your own breakfast.

Hotel had Roaches and hair all over the floor. There was hair in the shower drain and burn holes in the comforter. We were in a non-smoking room. We told the staff and they could care less. The manager never contacted us after we were told he would. The continental breakfast consists of cereal and OJ and coffee. That place was a joke. Would never stay there again!

The staff is very friendly, and it has a nice breakfast with nice rooms. Pets stay free. Good place to stay. If ever in North Carolina again, would definitely stay here again.

Toilet appeared to be clogged when we got there. Upon calling the front desk, the only employee in the building brought a plunger to our room and informed us that it was our responsibility because he had "no one else to send". The destination is heavily populated with contractors who come for the one night special. Expect drugs and prostitutes. Room and price is great if you don't mind the atmosphere.

I stayed here about 2 weeks ago. It was a nice place the room was very clean. The bathroom and shower were very clean. The lady Sonya at the front desk was awesome. She told me where some good places to eat and to go do things at. And everyday when I came to pay for my room she would ask how was my day, how is my stay going. Was there anything she could do for me at all. I would rate this hotel a 10.

This is the best red roof inn I have every stayed at. The manager is one of a kind always willing when ever able he will do whatever he can for his guests. The rooms are fantastic and the service top notch. I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know. While in Wilmington I would go to no other hotel.

Friendly staff clean rooms easy excess to the town we were in the middle of everything its a very good location.

No bugs, clean stay, just don't expect a lot. Old on the outside but renovations were good on inside of room. Cereal and oatmeal for breakfast. Only one trash can in the room. Decent stay for a night.

Great room, out pets and both of us love it! Spacious, clean with good Wi-Fi and room amenities. Great location for shopping and restaurants.

Stayed here last minute, not only was Sonya nice at check in she instantly realized I was tired and got me a room before check in time. Room was extremely clean, it was under renovations but not noisy. Went out to walk pup came back to find leak from upstairs bathroom call front desk manager Rocky came 1 minute later to investigate he attentive solved issue and personally mopped bathroom and hallway. Was very delighted to get such attention to such a small matter, upon check out Hina was polite and friendly and ask how was my stay. Just want to say it was a pleasant experience and plan to stay here again, and again and again thank you Rocky your new buddy Hector R.

This is always where I stay when I'm working in the area the management always make sure I'm good whenever I'm here newly renovated rooms are nice for the price good room service by the housekeeping staff.

Like most red roof inns they were still doing renovations. The room was pretty clean. The staff was quite friendly. Once everything is completed it could easily be a 4 star. To be a 5 star it would take more than a facelift and some paint. It was still well worth the cost of the room. We stayed with our dog for 3 nights. It was pretty much what we expected and we had a relaxing long weekend.

If you want to come here for the deal it’s not worth it go to a motel. The floors are sticky. The bathroom is too small Foundation like a forehead was resting not the front door. Beds are uncomfortable The the remotes channel button going up doesn’t work There are like 30 channels The bed sheets back you got in the middle of the night. Its even a hassle getting to the hotel and getting your things upstairs. Just think about it, it’s not worth it.

Do not stay here! No hot water toilet didn't work felt bugs on me at night and they found a cigarette that fell out of my jacket and charged me $200 for "smoking in the room"

We've stayed here twice now The rooms are very decent. For the price we paid it was excellent. The locals do say that there is a lot of criminal activity in that area of Wilmington. However, we didn't see anything that backed that statement up. Although we really didn't leave the room after dark after that first night. 1 person was walking into the parking lot and held his arms real wide as I drove by him as though he may have been looking for trouble… I just didn't stop. Wasn't really a big deal. We may just start paying a little extra and stay in Kure Beach next time. We like driving out on the beach at Ft. Fisher anyway which was the main reason for our visit to this area.

Not a bad place to stay. It is not very expensive. The room was clean.

Definitely making some improvements here. Not a five star hotel or anything but it is more than worth the price and I felt safe at the location. Even pet friendly.

Good for the price especially if you only plan to sleep here and leave. Staff was nice, but the room was dirty. We had mildew all over the shower curtain like it hadn't been cleaned in months, stains on the bed covers, frozen food in the fridge, stuff still on the carpet that my dog tried to eat, hair on the sink faucet and holes all over the window curtain.

The reviews did not do this place justice. For the price it was exceptional. Of course not perfect, but they are actively improving. Staff was super friendly and accomdating. The rooms were clean and new. I did not feel unsafe as others have said. I brought 2 small kids and they had a blast in these spacious rooms. No bugs like other said. We had a great time.

The hotel is under renovation, the room looks clean, but the floor was disgusting, my kids feet were black. The trash cans outside of the rooms are always full, seems that nobody pick up the trash oe change the garbage bags. The breakfast was very simple, some pastries and generic cereals. No fruit or anything else. Staff was kind. They need to put more effort in maintenance of the property and the breakfast can be improved.

First, we entered the room and the toilet didn't even work. Switched to a new room, the carpet smelled as if it had been drenched in water and started to mold and there was a GIANT bug on the curtain, I'm talking 2 quarters side by side was the same size as this bug. And as we were staying, I noticed that the mini fridge is definitely not safe for children or babies, as when my 15 month old son opened it, it ran over his foot, pulling his entire big toenail up off of his toe! The entire nail was pulled up and almost completely off. These rooms are definitely not child safe. The beds were also damp and the TV didn't get any channels except maybe 10. Never want to stay again, especially after what happened to my baby.

This place is a dump. Nasty and dirty. They have no respect for customer service. If you like smelling dog dirty room please stay here other wise find another place to stay.

Very unhappy with our 5 night stay at Red Roof in Wilmington, NC. The floors were sticky and were not cleaned when house keeping came, we wore sandals around the room all week. The bed sheets were stained and looked as if they were not changed. To top it all off, there was broken glass on the floor without us knowing. A piece went in my foot and when I looked further on the ground, I found 3 more pieces, one was as big as a dollar coin. When we tried to negotiate with the manager about this mess, he only offered to discount one night — I believe he could have done better, but it seemed like he didn't want to deal with us at all. I do not recommend this hotel, and it is very unlikely that we will be back.

Our room was never cleaned during our whole stay. My husband went to front desk every afternoon asking why & requesting clean towels. None of our complaints were noted or written down. Was told to contact manager when we checked out. My husband was unable to contact manager for a week. Finally spoke with manager, he was rude and stated that the attendants paperwork was filled out that the room was cleaned everyday. Manager stated he couldn't & wouldn't help us in resolving our complaints and then hung up on my husband. This by far worse experience ever. We will never stay at another Red Roof Inn.

Apparently this place is of the mind to turn away those with a paid for booked room, particularly those 80+ years old, and of additional note — African American! I vacation on the coasts of North Carolina quite a bit as do members of my family and friends. I'll certainly be suggesting they and others steer clear of your place.

The Red Roof in Wilmington, NC just refused a friend of a friend — an elderly African American man — a room that had been booked for him and paid for. He has health problems. They refused to give a reason for denying him his room. He was stranded. Fortunately he has now found a room at the Best Western, but the Red Roof should be ashamed.

When we arrived the room they put us in was flooded by a busted pipe, it took them an hour to switch our room. The girl advised me she'd look into what she could do to make up for the issue, but never did anything. I asked for a manager MULTIPLE times and they refused to get one for me. The bathroom was molded. They ran out of towels and we're not able to replace them for a whole day. This stay was really ridiculous. Never again staying with red roof.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is absolutely filthy. Our first room smelled to high heaven of cigarettes and old food. I complained and they moved us to a different room. They had given us which smelled like bleach, but I'll take that over smoke. I started to check it out since they mentioned all rooms were recently renovated. Whoever the contractor was, get your money back. There was mold on the lamp shades, pillow cases and on the bathroom ceiling. The sheets were still damp from when they washed them and the mattresses were soaking wet. The bathroom was filthy, grout in the bathroom had mold on it as well. At this point I had enough. Complained at the front desk and the manager (Nik Patel), had a horrible justification for this. We decided hell with this and drove two hours back home. My suggestion, don't ever stay here. This place is deplorable. Find somewhere else to stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend. We booked a superior king room, which has one full sized bed and full bath. Looked nice when we first got in but the bathroom was disgusting. MOLD on the walls and in the tub. The bathtub looked like it was rotting. The walls in the bathroom had holes in them and BUGS were on the sink in the restroom. There was No fridge or microwave and the free Wi-Fi they claimed to have, they did not. The service was piss poor and when we went down to ask for more blankets, the desk told us they did not have any spares. It's a hotel, how do you not have extra blankets for your customers? If the stay was cheap I might have been less critical but as a consumer and guest, You pay for the all around experience, and this was definitely not worth the 200+ dollars they charged. I wouldn't refer anyone to this facility and will not be going back. I advise you all to stay elsewhere.

Just after checking in the first sign that we were in a downscale envrionment was the way other customers were leering at my wife as we walked to our room. Obvious smeels of cigarette smoke greeted us as the door opened, to our non smoking room. Helpful and friendly desk staff relocated us. New room next to Neanderthal McLeerfacfe. So we went out to get some food. Upon returning discovered that the Wi-Fi didn't have any bandwidth and our new TV didn't work — like someone had stolen the wiring out of the coaxial cables. Helpful and friendly desk staff relocated us to a third room. Third room had no smoke smell, and a working TV. Floor was sticky and needed moping, and someone had removed one of the bedside light fixtures. From the wall. We slept anyway, but a yappy dog in another room woke us early. We checked out after one night. I can't believe they can charge $100 for a weekend night, it would be more restful to rent a van and sleep in the back.

This was a terrible experience. We booked two rooms in advance and paid in full so that we had a room in the area during our fishing trip. We spent all night on the water and then proceeded to check in first thing in the morning. However the had canceled our reservation without warning and refused to work with us to get everything worked out. We then had to find another open hotel last min and hope they would let us check in early. Long story short if you want to stay here you might also want a backup plan. On a side note from what little we could see I'm glad we didn't end up here. The outside looked filthy and run down so I can only guess as to what the rooms would look like inside.

We booked a room for Memorial Weekend at the last minute, so we did it here. I was told that we got one room with 2 queen beds, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free TV. We arrived to a room of 2 full sized beds. Wifi is deathly slow. Beakfast was horrible, not even standard. By 9 am I went to only find 5 muffins and 1 danish. I grabbed some apple juice only to find it completely watered down. Thankfull there's a Dunkin Donuts next door. The TV is free, and only so because every picture is fuzzy and pixelated. There were 4 of us staying in one room, something they knew ahead of time, yet there were only two towels. We had to request more towels twice, before just grabbing our own. The place is the essence of half assed. While the staff is nice and I believe they try their best, I think they have very little to work with.

The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and, unlike the last Red Roof we stayed in in Myrtle Beach last week, there is actually the wfi that they advertise. However, they management has no concern for the guests being able to sleep. We have been here two nights. Yesterday morning there was someone with a leaf blower directly outside of our door blowing non-existant leaves and/or debris at 7am. Not only was the noise hideous, but the fumes gagged us. This morning a semi came to remove a huge construction dumpster, with a blaring back up alarm souding for over a half an hour, at 6:15 am. Of course, all of the guests stood in their open doors with WTF written all over their faces. I complained to the front desk. The girl there was like, I just work here. I asked the truck driver why he was doing such a thing at a hotel at that time of the morning. He said that that was the time that the owner of the hotel had scheduled him to do the work. This place is under construction. There is constant banging and drilling. The pool is filled with garbage. Don't do it. After my two experiences with Red Roof, never again.

Fairly "meh". Renovated but one of the "half ass" renovations. Great location with plenty of restaurants and easy access to downtown Wilmington. Small cramped rooms and an uncomfortable bed. Friendly staff. Noisy neighbors. Ok for a night.

I was very surprised at the cleanliness and room accommodations considering the low price point. The kind size bed was very comfortable and the hard wood floors were a nice touch. Also around the bed area there was carpeting so your feet did not get to cold when climbing out of bed in the morning.

We were very nervous after seeing the reviews to even show up at this location. We took the risk and we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't perfect, but there are not many places that are going to meet perfection. The floor was redone with a wood looking laminate. The only carpeting was an area rug under the bed. The bedding was very clean and the room smelled good. We pulled the sheet all the way off because another review mentioned bed bugs. There wasn't anything at all which was great. The refrigerator and microwave were clean. The sink was a new modern design. We could see that they are working on doing some remodeling. It is clearly not finished but it is nice to see that the work is in progress. We didn't experience knocks on the door from undesirables, loud partying, etc. I walked my dog (awesome that they are pet friendly) and didn't see anyone out and about that made me nervous. The only things that were negative was that the housekeeping forgot to remove the coffee pack from the coffeemaker. It wasn't molded so we knew it wasn't in there long. We also noticed debris in the light globe in the bathroom. I spoke with the front desk about the small things and she wrote down what I said and apologized for the mistakes. I also spoke of the slow drains. She said that she would have maintenance check it out and gave me a refund for part of our stay. Keep up with the improvements and hopefully y'all will overcome the low ratings.

Worst experience ever at a Red Roof Inn. I am a solo traveler and I booked my hotel room in advance through the phone. The guy who answered was very pleasent. When I got to the hotel around 830 pm, there were people just hanging out all over the place, some guys driving around and around in a loud car and prostitutes everywhere. I was actually nervous to walk to up my hotel room. When I located my door to get in there were two creepy men hanging out right outside of my door. The peep hole on the door had been busted through and a piece of toilet paper had been shoved inside of it. The lock had clearly been broken in before. I gathered my valuables and went straight to a friends house near by hoping they would let me stay the night with them and they did, too afraid to go back I left my bag of clothes at the hotel. I came back the next day to return my keys and reported all of this to the front desk. They refused to refund my money. When I was walking out the door I saw two police officers whom I went over to talk to and reported the prostitution that was going on. They told me they have had so many complaints of it coming from this specific hotel that, that's why they were there. As I was speaking with them we saw a pile of hookers go into one of the rooms. Soo all in all if you want a SAFE location DON'T STAY HERE!

The room I was in itself was not bad besides you could tell someone had broken into the door before abd could almost push it open without a key! The staff were horrible attitudes and you could tell the night staff hated to be there and half the time when I came down in the middle of the night they were asleep and wouldn't answer the window. I actually cleaned my own room one day because she asked me if I was going to clean or if I wanted her to. Is that not your job? Horrible place looks good from the outside but all together just go down the road the run down ones had to have better service then that!

Don't get me wrong… the staff was very polite. That being said, we had to change room 4 times just to get a habitable one. The first rooms A/C didn't work. The second had a bathroom with mold all in it. The third rooms floor was drenched. Only stay here if you like truly roughing it.

I had made reservation for myself and my significant other for August 7th through 9th at the Wilmington location and I must say that I am very disappointed in how everything turned out. I have stayed at many Redroof inn's in the past and have always been very satisfied with my experience but this past weekend did not meet those standards. I had made reservations a few weeks prior in order to assure that I had a room available. I was informed at the time that I made the reservations that there would be a penalty fee to any changes or cancellations made to my reservations after August 6th but I was very confident that everything would work out as planed. Upon my arrival to the Redroof Inn, Wilmington at around 6 pm I noticed that the front lobby still had leftovers from the complimentary breakfast they had provided earlier that day. I then checked in at the front desk and made my way to the room. I noticed that the hall leading to my room was littered in cigarette butts and smelled of rotten garbage. We then entered our rooms and noticed that we were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi that was supposed to be provided. We were also unable to connect to any television channels. The room it self seemed very unclean and our shoes stuck to the floor slightly with every step. Already exasperated with our stay, my boyfriend and I sat on the bed and noticed that there were cigarette burns in the blanket. This was the final straw and we decided to take our business elsewhere.

What did I like about this red roof inn? Leaving about 30 minutes after check-in! Room was filthy with a musky mold smell, got switched to a 2ND room covered in bugs! DISGUSTING PLACE!

We stayed 2 nights over the 4th of July weekend, 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and 2 dogs. It was close to everything like it states, 10 minutes to the beach and pier. We brought our 2 dogs with us and they stayed for no extra fee. That was the biggest plus. Most of the guests we saw had pets with them. The breakfast was fine no complaints, it was not a hot breakfast and Dunkin Donuts was in the same parking lot, and Waffle House walking distance. The room was clean for the most part, did find some candy wrappers in a corner, could have been swept better. The staff was nice and really had no issues. No refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker in room. Holiday weekend and everything else in town was booked or too high and didn't take pets. The staff gave me a bigger discount because my Expedia "deal" was actually more than they were charging, so that was appreciated. Did not see any bugs. All in all it was fine. It is a 1 star hotel so I was actually thinking it would be worse. It worked for us and our 2 dogs.

This place is awful. We checked into the first room and it had a really bad smell. The air didn't work. We ended up getting a different room. When we walked into the smell was even worse. There were bugs all over the floor. Base boards where falling off. After about 20 minutes we were able to get checked out and went across the street. How is this place still open?

This place is horrible. We are here now and I am begging you to listen don't stop here. We have switched rooms 3 times. First room had drugs in it second room the bathtub was messed up with sewage coming up now third room is horrible smell and the staff didn't want to fix anything. They couldn't care less how the rooms were. I give negative 5 stars!

Was there because office sent me for work. Stayed a couple of months. In that couple of months, I had to request for my sheets to get changed. They only change sheets when someone checks out. WTF! Also, their Wi-Fi is slower than 1990's dial up modems. They also seem to attract a great deal of social scum. People smoking weed, and we even saw one crazy lady washing her laundry in the swimming pool.

I run a construction company and decided to stay here in reguard to complaints from my employs since this is where I have them stay. 1st check in they say they offer AARP discounts when asked the girl at the front desk stated they don't do discounts on there already discounted rate. What discounted rate. 2nd the carpet was heavily stained and smelled funny. 3rd the internet does not work at all and the TV was so fuzzy you could not watch half the channels when asked if it was going to be fixed I was told they were working on it well I went outside and looked to see what was going on and there was not a single cable truck around and the next day it is still not fixed I had to go to Dunkin Dounuts to use there Wifi since the hotel dosen't have Wifi at all. 4th prostitutes and drug dealers are abundant I could not walk from the front desk to my room without being approached by a prostitute. I would not only recommend this hotel be closed I would recommend that New Hanover Health Dept is not doing there job try looking under the sinks the wall was black with mold this is what the smell was and no they did not change rooms when asked I was told they were full when half the rooms were empty. I will no longer let my guys stay here, I would steer clear of this hotel unless your into drugs prostitutes and no internet.

Doesnt even deserve one star. This place is awful. Roaches, broken refrigerators, the floors were gross, the bathrooms were nasty, cigarette burns, and the rugs had carpet cleaner sprinkled on them but were never vacuumed. I could go on and on. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

This Red Roof does not even deserve one star! This location was truly atrocious. And the $100/day (tax included) weekend rate was not cheap either. Over the past 20 years, I have stayed at other Red Roof locations and, with one exception, I have always found the accommodations adequate! First, the place looked seedy with several residents appearing to be indigents on drugs, living at the location on a permanent basis. Besides that, our room was very filthy. The toilet bowl was covered with the streaks of a previous guest's diarrhea. The vinyl flooring was greasy and, when we quickly ran a wet white rag on the floor, it came up completely black; the floor had not been cleaned at all. Now get this! When I presented the problems with the room to the front desk, I was essentially told to clean the toilet bowl myself. The response was so ludicrous to be almost comical. Of course, I called the Red Roof headquarters, cancelled the reservation and obtained a refund. Avoid this Red Roof Inn.

The toilet was very nasty the tub was nasty and would not drain, burn marks on the tub, it dripped all the time, supposed to have been a non smoking room but smelled like smoke. The sink was loose and the cover at the bottom was gone and light was coming from other side. The TV only had about two channels that were clear enough to watch. Floors needed moping and vacuuming. My wife had to buy cleaning supplies and drain opener to get the room clean. If it had not been to late to cancel we would have and left. Breakfast not much to choose from and no milk for the cereal. The pool was OK. Beds were comfortable other than that not worth the money. We want stay again.

Total disrespect for the handicapped not 1 handicapped spot was used for someone who is disabled I was not able to get out of my van in a spot as all the handicapped spots were taken by non handicapped people. i got a refund and would recommend you don't stay here if you are handicapped. seems the wilmington police dept dosent care either after we called then they never showed up to do anything.

You get what you pay for. If you need a room and are short on cash. This place will hold you over for a bit. In my room the floor was dirty. There was holes in the walls. Mold and mildew around edges of floor and the door. Blankets had cigarette burns.

This place was all that it said it would be. For a discounted AAA rate of 79$ a night during busy season, you can not pass up this deal. I have previously stayed in a few "motels" up and down Market street in Wilmington and have not been impressed. The red roof inn was to my surprise, very different. We reserved a double smoking room that was clean and spotless when we arrived. I had previous problems in each motel with bugs, and here there was none. The staff was friendly and the Continental Breakfast was up to par. Jack the house keeper manager took care of us and made sure everything was proper. My only complaint was that we had to ask for more towels (they only provide 3 towels in a 2 bed room) but they fulfilled my request when I asked. All in all this place is great. Its by no means a 4 star hotel, but for a cheap stay, in a clean reputable motel, This is your spot.
