Love to stay at the hotel in Pembroke, everyone is so nice and helpful. Can’t wait until we can stay there again, Love ❤️ all the people there.

This review may change in the morning, but frankly, probably not. We were here just for a mid-trip stop to let the kids swim, get some sleep in a cozy room and keep going in the morning. The neighborhood and local town is pretty questionable, the outdoor pool closed at 8 (5 minutes before we checked in), and our room was 79° on a 95° summer day. I raised the latter two issues to the girl at the front desk, even though I know she couldn't do anything about them. She claims the health department requires the early close and will pass along my suggestion that they cool the rooms for guest before they arrive. As a spire elite member, this was pretty disappointing. Not a good representation of the brand. Oh, and the Wi-Fi boasts a massive. 25 Mbps. See speed test picture. Go further down the road or just pick somewhere else…

Josh at the front desk was awesome and very friendly. He was very helpful and went out his way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Clean hotel with spacious rooms.

Be aware of everything from making the reservation to check out. If you notice a problem during the reservation process, then you're most likely to have other problems. Monitor everything, not just your belongings, especially during check out. Issues are not handled professionally. Check for other places before making a reservation here. My family and I will not stay there again.

We stayed here for a overnight stop on our way to our vacation resort. The place was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was great in morning.

Location was very convenient to the University! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that the front desk staff seemed to always be overly busy and the elevator was broken the two nights we were there. Otherwise, great experience.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Our bed was not comfortable though. It could have stood to be replaced. But other than that, it was nice.

Beds bad, mold in bathroom, elevator broken (for 2 of the 3 days there), holes in floor (under carpet) deep enough to twist a knee or ankle, remote for TV didn't properly work, ice machine on our floor didn't wrk first day, we had 3 rooms, 1 room didn't have fridge or microwave like the others. Location is great.

This is the only hotel in Pembroke, NC. It is a decent hotel, but is close to railroad tracks, so guests often hear train whistles throughout the night.

Rooms were nice, breakfast left much to be desired. Internet was virtually non existent, could be described as dial up.

The staff was incredible. I was there with my mother for four days visiting uncp. Our beds were made everyday, the entire facility was very clean and I can't wait to return.

We were on a long road trip and most hotels did not have availability and we have stayed a few other already. We pulled in and were received by very courteous staff and they were very welcoming and like I said it was very refreshing compared to other hotels we have been. They were so kind to let me see a sample room to make sure it meets my expectation. Complimentary breakfast was awesome.

Fast check in, nice room, with the usual amenities one would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Free breakfast included, and not too crowded in the parking lot. Friendly staff, too!

Get spot in Pembroke staff was great, beds were awesome, really close to UNCPembroke reasonable price, good breakfast too.

My stay was due to work. I enjoyed my stay to the fullest. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, the room was in great shape, the TV had all the cable channels I watch AND the heat worked very well! I worked out in the gym, and breakfast was filling. I will be back again for a 2 week work related stay and I'm looking forward to it!

It's a pretty nice place to stay. This is my 3 time staying at this one. And this has been the worst time I had… the bed had every spring pushing up into your back… the hallways have divits in the floor under the carpet. I almost twisted my ankle a few times walking back to my room.

Great hot breakfast served everyday. Exceptional staff. Quick drive (2 minutes) to restaurants and stores. Pet friendly with an affordable charge. Quaint outside pool.

This is our go-to spot whenever we're in town. Friendly staff, filling breakfast and the coffee isn't bad!

Nice room, clean sheets, clean bathroom. Courteous staff. If not for the carpet in the hallways, which was dingy, I'd have given you 5 stars. There was also a weird dip in the floor just outside my room.

Not enough lightning but really love it staff is super friendly and rooms are very clean and well maintain.

Nice place, great people, safe. Not close to restaurants, delivery is available. Water pressure is not so great… only reason giving it 3 stars.

They were the nicest most down to earth but professional group of people I have ever stayed with. Very helpful and thankful you are there. Treat you like family. Stayed there a few nights working in the area. Every Wednesday the local breakfast lady cooks up a feast with her daughters and it's home cooking and totally free. Well we tip them but they deserved it. Had chicken and rice, cabbage, green beens, broccoli cheddar cornbread, and then cake. Soooo good. And you can even take a plate to your room or two. Plenty of food. Very clean and comfy. All good. A+++. Will definitely stay again. Thanks.

We drove in from Orlando, Fl. And arrived at front desk at 245 p. M. To check in. The front desk clerk said that she couldn't do an "early check in because she had other things to do first. " We waited In the lobby for 15 minutes, until 3:00, and then returned to the front desk. The clerk asked our last name and when she looked it up she said "oh, you're a gold member, you should have told me that and an early check in would have been fine".
Well. She never even asked our name initially as "she had other things to do before we could check in early". We were pretty put off by her unwillingness to let us check in only 15' minutes early… especially since the room was ready.
No problems with any other part of the stay. It was comfortable, clean and convenient for our event.

I picked my brother up from this hotel. He really enjoyed the room he was staying in. The staff was really friendly. If I return to Pembroke, I'll definitely stay here.

It was raining and I had too many bags in my hand. I got out of the car to go into the hotel and I just got soaked. My work clothes, the dinner I just bought, my work bag, everything. I walked in the front door and cried out in frustration. Not a soft groan — I full out yelled an expletive. Two staff members turned to look and I apologized profusely, as I certainly was ashamed. But the front desk attendant took the next 15 minutes to make sure that I left with a smile on my face. She cracked a joke or two, gave me a cold bottle of water, and was so very patient with me. She could have easily treated me with the same attitude I had when I came in, but she opted not to. I do not remember her name, but I wanted her to know that I really appreciated the way she treated me. I would absolutely stay here again — for the customer service alone — but the room was also spacious and the bed was super comfy. I got in a workout in the morning and the gym had appropriate (and working) equipment for my needs. Breakfast was also plentiful and had a decent variety. Great price also! Definitely recommend it!

First off I got a room and went inside. There was somebody in that room already so I hauled all my luggage back down to the lobby. I got another room which was clean and nice only other thing was they had no fridge or microwave in the rooms so I had to go to the lobby again to heat up my food.

No sleep. 2 stars because the staff was nice. Extremely loud guest. 2 diffrent complaints of noise down stairs from someone loud kids on sat 9/19th. The hotel will call room above and not move from the desk. Not good because it may not be the guest above. They have these signs in the bathroom room staying they want you to be happy in your stay, that would have taken making sure the other guest did make much noise. To get up and periodically walking the area in question would have help. They young woman on Sun who said she is "technically the manager " on duty need to reword that to… Unfortunately there is not a manager on dute I'll be more than happy to help best I can. Then inform guess she will leave a note for rhe manager to see Monday morning. The beds are NOT comfortable. You feel the hard spring.

The Holiday Inn Pembroke is very comfortable and very well kept. Jonica at the front desk was wonderful. She helped me so much. Thank you, Jonica, for being so nice and thoughtful! This was not my first pick due to the location being so far away from my facility in Lumberton. I will be traveling to this area at least once a month or more for work. I actually made a reservation at the Holiday Inn Lumberton. This experience was horrible! Their customer service was terrible. I was not a happy camper when I arrived at Holiday Inn Pembroke because of my experience trying to check in at the Holiday Inn Lumberton. Jonica was a sweetheart and gave great customer service. She got me checked in quickly and was very courteous. I will be staying here during my visits to Lumberton even though it will be a further drive to my facility. Customer Service DOES matter and Holiday Inn Pembroke has it! Thank you!

This was by far a great experience! The staff, especially Kyle, were the most friendly and really seemed like they cared about making our stay here in Pembroke as nice as possible. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was delicious, and it made our stay here for the night a very memorable one. If we are passing through NC again we will definitely stay here on our way to the beach or the mountains for sure!

I just had another very nice stay here, the staff are very professional, clean rooms, nice variety for breakfast. The Chavis family really make sure you are happy, and WOW can Mama Chavis cook.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke, NC, Thanksgiving 2012. The hotel was very nice, however I had a very bad experience with Housekeeping. All of my jewelry was stolen out of my suitcase in the room. I filed a police report with Pembroke Police Department, and nothing was ever done and the manager/owner of the hotel never called back. If you choose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke, NC, make sure you keep your valuables locked in the car or on you.

We are so thankful for the great customer service we received during our recent stay at this hotel! The manager, Timothy Chavis, and his staff not only made our stay very pleasant, but went out of their way to help us get our car repaired so we could enjoy the rest of our stay and get back on the road safely. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I was in town on business and stayed at this hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. This hotel has a 98.5 rating on sanitation and it showed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Pembroke.
