This place is absolutely fantastic, the rooms are affordable and quite cute. The rooms where super clean and Ms. Rebecca at the front desk was extremely nice! We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Manteo!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Inn. The inn keepers are absolutely amazing. We will, without a doubt, be back!

This was our first time back after several years and it's still a great place to stay. Rooms range in size, but all are very nice. Friendly staff and convenient location.

The place is very inviting, cozy, clean, and extremely quiet. We had great hospitality from the Innkeeper, she had a good personality. The next time we come down, we will be staying at Scarborough Inn again. My wife and I recommend this place to everyone who wants a terrific place to stay and convenient to restaurants, gas stations, and shopping places, and more.

Charming, small, independent hotel. More like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. Rooms are furnished with antiques. Beds are comfy and it is convenient to most attractions in OBX.

We have stayed here twice in 10 months. Best customer service of any inn/hotel/motel I have stayed. Clean, comfortable accommodations that meet the needs of all ages, from G'ma to 11 year old. Love sitting on the porch in the sea breeze after a day of history, lighthouses, and wild horses. Thanks, Rebecca!

Room had a very odd smell, especially the headboard (? ). Hard to find a spot to plug in your phone. At least the bed was comfy…

We stayed the night here during the off season, so I do not know how they operate during heavy tourist season. At the time we were here, this little place was pretty nice. It is a little outdated, but I didn't mind since it was clean, cozy, the Wi-Fi was good, and the person working the front office was nice as well. For the price, it was even better. Most places that have a refrigerator and microwave, plus an extra bed and room usually charge much more in other places. I really liked the down to earth atmosphere here.

Big rooms. Well furnished. If bed's too high, look underneath for a step stool. Microwave & good-sized fridge. 4-cup coffee maker w/2 pks provided. "Continental Breakfast" when we were there in winter was 4 packaged muffins on the microwave. They were good, though. Conviently located to historic Manteo sites (Roanoke Lost Colony) and Nags Head — — part of Outer Banks — — with Wright Brothers Memorial Park (first manned powered flight). Connects southward with Hatteras National Seashore.

Location is nice. They use old (maybe antique) furniture in the room's which I didn't mind. The room was clean and spacious. Lobby hours were a bit odd.

Very clean, quiet & it feels like home. Rooms are unique. Convenient to Duck Thru, Dollar General, 7-11 & Food-a-Rama. Less than 10 mins to the beach. The dock area in Manteo has great food & shops. It's nice to be able to sit outside your room & relax in the morning or the evening. Wonderful place & we would go back again.

This quaint little inn is the gem of Manteo. Located just minutes from downtown, Scarborough Inn is within walking distance of many of the locally-owned dining establishments. I love the furnishings and the layout of the buildings and grounds. The beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of room. They even left cheese danishes and cinnamon rolls when we arrived and after they cleaned the room. They also wait until you leave before they clean your room, so there is no knocking on your door when you are sleeping in. The staff is warm and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Not your typical hotel. So charming and comfortable. Loved the furnishings! Not only would we stay there again, we would highly recommend it.

Came for wedding anniversary, room was very clean, location was perfect as there are so many things to do that are really close. The room has a more homey feel than a hotel. Will definitely be back.

Quaint room with period furniture. A little small, but clean on the inside. Old squeaky mattress. Friendly staff. Needs updating on the exterior of the buildings. Excellent location close to old town Manteo.

We only planned on staying one night, but made it two after we saw the rooms and location. It's a short drive to beach access. Rooms were incredibly clean. Rebecca at the front desk was just wonderful. I highly recommend!

What we loved: "NOT Holiday Inn" and not artsy cutesie B&B. Rebecca on the desk was real, room was clean, price was great. If you want a break from Outer Banks tacky and prices call Rebecca and book a room.

Quaint, quiet, super nice innkeeper, beautiful place to stay. I literally can hardly wait to return for a longer stay. We had absolutely no problems! We loved our time there.

Stayed here May 1. We went down for a wedding on Nags Head. Nice room. Quiet. Super high bed in our room — it was kind of funny. Good shower. Nice staff. We would stay here again.

Adorable inn! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean & cute, and the water pressure in the shower was A+. The rocking chairs on the porch were a lovely touch, perfect for watching the sunset.

The room was really nice. I loved the layout and the furniture. The location is good. Loved the cottage style setting of the inn. I'll definitely stay there again.

Owner was so nice. Took care of booking amount problem in minutes. Room was super clean and beautiful unique antique furnishings were a nice change from rubber stamped motel rooms.

Upon arrival at the Inn the owner (Rebecca) had snacks and coffee laid out for us as well as having us ice ready and the air conditioner on (was an above average temp. — hot day). She consistently went above and beyond to make us feel at home, comfortable and like a friend. Her rooms were clean, quiet, and spacious as well as having extra pillows and towels. Compared to what I've seen and other places I've stayed, you cant beat her prices, for what you get she could easily charge 20-30 dollars more. Thank you for a very enjoyable week. I highly recommend this place and plan on referring everyone I know who plans on traveling that way.
